Pastaholic in Gießen

Brutal nachgelassen. Weiß nicht, obs daran liegt, dass man sich das Essen nach Hause bestellt. Aber ist mir jetzt zu oft aufgefallen. 1 Stück Hähnchen pro Portion. Geht gar nicht Wie gesagt, ist schon öfter passiert jetzt

Pizzeria sehr Zentral gelegen, aber leider hat mir die Pizza nicht geschmeckt ,der Schinken war nicht meiner , zu viel Rand ,dadurch für mich auch zu Groß. Ansonsten ein nettes Ambiente.

Leider war ich sehr enttäuscht. Die Pizzen waren extrem trocken und an mehreren Stellen sogar verbrannt. Ich hatte ausdrücklich darum gebeten, normalen bzw. mehr Belag zu bekommen, aber trotzdem war kaum etwas drauf. Ich war seit drei Jahren Kunde, aber die letzten Bestellungen waren alle schlecht. Das war jetzt endgültig das letzte Mal – nie wieder.

Bei der letzten Bestellung waren im Salat noch Teile von der Verpackung drinne 😟👎

Eines der besten Restaurants mit köstlichem Essen!!! Absolut empfehlenswert. Die Pasta war sehr lecker. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Sauberkeit und den freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Inhaber. Ich bin froh, dass es solche Menschen gibt. Vielen Dank!

Leckere Pizza, ideal für die Mittagspause

In der Gruppe bestellt und eine Pizza gegessen. Die hatte mir echt erstmal den Appetit auf Pizza verdorben. Die billigste, schlechteste Wurst auf einer Pizza die ich bis jetzt probiert habe. Ich weiß gar nicht wo ich so etwas finden kann, wenn ich einkaufen gehe.

Donnerstag war Pasta Tag (minus 20 %) Pasta war gut.

Unsere Erfahrung bei Pastaholic war leider etwas durchwachsen. Wir waren zu viert dort und haben alle unterschiedliche Gerichte bestellt, sodass wir einen ganz guten Eindruck vom Angebot bekommen konnten. Insgesamt wird der Laden unserer Meinung nach seinen vielen positiven Bewertungen nicht ganz gerecht – wir waren etwas enttäuscht. Besonders auffällig war, dass die Portionen eher klein ausgefallen sind und nicht den typischen, großzügigen Pasta-Portionen entsprachen, die man sonst erwartet (die mir über Freunde aus vorherigen Besuchen ebenfalls angekündigt wurden). Geschmacklich war die Pasta zwar grundsätzlich sehr gut, allerdings konnten die Sahnesoßen nicht überzeugen. Sie wirkten recht langweilig und wenig gewürzt, sodass das gewisse Etwas gefehlt hat. Meine Freundinnen waren bereits vor etwa einem Jahr dort und hatten damals eine deutlich bessere Erfahrung, was den Vergleich noch etwas ernüchternder macht. Alles in allem gute Pasta, aber im Hinblick auf das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis waren wir leider nicht vollständig überzeugt.

Ich war in Gießen um einen Krankenhausbesuch abzustatten. Ich suchte ein Restaurant, erwartete nicht viel und wurde völlig überrascht. Das war die beste Pasta die ich in ganz Deutschland gegessen habe! Oft denke ich an diese Pasta und hoffe sie nochmal zu bekommen. Auch das Personal war außerordentlich fürsorglich und freundlich. 5/5 ⭐️ sind noch zu wenig.

Sorry Leute. Aber für Best Pasta In Town war das ja Mal der absolute Reinfall. Keine frische Pasta? Der Service war leider auch nicht gut, unser Tisch war noch dreckig vom Vorgast. Hat niemanden interessiert und wurde nicht korrigiert. Kaputte Stellen an den Wänden kann man easy einfach Mal ausbessern, dann sieht es auch nicht so schlecht aus. Die Pizza war langweilig , geschmacklos und die Pasta auch nur unteres Mittelfeld.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker, und die Bedienung freundlich.

Ich bestelle alle paar Wochen sehr gerne bei euch und habe mich heute wieder auf eines meiner Lieblingsgerichte gefreut. Leider war die Bestellung diesmal eine große Enttäuschung. In beiden Pastagerichten war kaum Hackfleisch in der Soße – letztendlich waren es einfach nur Spaghetti mit Tomatensoße. Außerdem fehlten nahezu komplett die Gewürze, sodass alles sehr fade geschmeckt hat. Ich weiß nicht, was heute schiefgelaufen ist, aber das hatte eher etwas von einer einfachen Kinderportion als von der Qualität, die ich sonst von euch kenne. Außerdem riecht die Pasta sehr säuerlich, sodass ich ehrlicherweise Angst hatte mir den Magen zu verderben Das ist besonders schade, weil ich wirklich immer gerne bei euch bestelle – gerade auch wegen des Tiramisus. Dieses war zum Glück wie immer sehr lecker. Ich hoffe sehr, dass das nur ein Ausrutscher war und ihr beim nächsten Mal wieder an eure gewohnte Qualität anknüpft. Dieses Mal hatte ich das erste Mal keine Lust und sogar Angst das ganze fertig zu essen. Sehr schade. Update: 1 Stunde später haben wir mittlerweile extreme Übelkeit und Magenkrämpfe, obwohl wir nicht aufgegessen haben. Bitte dringend die Soße prüfen!

Sehr leckeres Essen, saftiges Fleisch und faire Preise. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Lieferung ist immer schnell, und das Essen kommt heiß an. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wenn man Pizza in der Größe von 32cm durchmesser anbiete, diese jedoch einen Durchmesser von ca 27cm haben, dann ist das einfach verarsche. Wenn sie dann schlechter schmeckt als jede 3€ 0815 Tiefkühlpizza und über 10€ kostet, ist es an dreistigkeit kaum zu überbeiten

Super Service. Bei unserem ersten Besuch waren wir an einem Donnerstag kurz vor 23:00 Uhr dort.Kein Problem. Essen kam schnell und war super lecker. Beim zweiten Besuch am Samstag wieder sehr lecker und der Service sehr nett. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Leider muss ich eine negative Erfahrung mit dem Lieferdienst schildern. Das Essen selbst möchte ich hier ausdrücklich nicht bewerten. Das Problem betrifft ausschließlich den Lieferanten. Ich hatte nun zum zweiten Mal eine sehr unangenehme Situation!! Der Lieferant war unfreundlich, hat mich angeschrien und behauptet, meine Klingel würde nicht funktionieren. Tatsächlich wurde bei mir gar nicht geklingelt. Bei Lieferungen von anderen Restaurants funktioniert meine Klingel problemlos. Das ist sehr schade, denn so verliert man leider die Lust, dort erneut zu bestellen, auch wenn das Essen möglicherweise gut ist.

Gestern das erste mal bei Pastaholic gegessen und ich muss sagen, ich bin begeistert. Geschmacklich einfach der Hammer, super schönes Lokal und die Mitarbeiter mega freundlich. Ganz klare Empfehlung 🍝⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Muss heute leider einen Stern abziehen. Ich bestelle gerne bei Pastaholic und das seit Jahren, jedoch wurde ich heute verarscht. Habe fast 10€ an Extras mehr bezahlt, nur um keine davon zu bekommen. Sowas finde ich als treuer Kunde sehr frech. Bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich demnächst von dort wieder bestelle... vielleicht Vorort, wenn überhaupt.

I ordered shrimp pasta that was too dry and, no joke, there were only 5 shrimp in it. For that price, you expect something decent. That's why only 2 stars.

Highly recommend the Obstgarten waffle! They don't skimp on fresh raspberries!☝️

I can't rate the food, and I don't even want to. But if the food is as awful as the delivery drivers' driving, it's inedible. The delivery drivers' parking style also leaves a lot to be desired. Instead of parking normally, they're only thinking about the short term, and everyone else has to suffer as a result.

The portion was a little too small for me, but the taste was very good. 👍 So if you're ever in Giessen, definitely go there for dinner. 💪

Fantastic! That's not enough to say. We stayed here for a week and actually ate here every evening because it was simply too good. What I really appreciated was that our favorite cocktail was made for us according to our recipe. I'm curious to see if it might even be added to the menu. :-) We'll definitely be back; we haven't tried all the dishes yet.

I ordered 1 pizza at home and the pizza was like ice cream, as if it had been taken out of the fridge and brought home.

A really nice shop was in Gießen for 2 weeks and I was there every day the cocktails and the pasta are really delicious 👍

The pizza tasted okay. Customer service was also courteous over the phone. Problem: The average pizza was 29cm instead of the stated 32cm. (After ordering).

The service was very friendly and the pasta was delicious! The names of the pastas are very fun. We ordered the "Elvis Presley" pasta and the "Al Pacino" pasta. There's a menu for everyone, both meat-eaters and vegetarians. And the food arrived very quickly and was very filling. Highly recommended.

The sauces are probably the highlight, not the pasta/gnocci. I assumed the pasta/gnocci were homemade, but unfortunately, they seem to be ready-made. The sauces, however, are delicious. The food came quickly, but it took a while for someone to come to the cashier or even notice that we wanted to pay (even though it was barely busy). Price-wise? Well, considering it's ready-made, it could be a bit cheaper.

We order regularly and are therefore always satisfied with the delivery and the good food 🤌🏻 never eaten anything that didn't taste good!

The pasta is delicious, with a wide selection. The welcome was very warm, the service was very friendly, and the service was fast. The chocolate waffles were excellent.

We were at the Lahn-Ufer Festival in Gießen and hadn't found a suitable place to eat there, so we spontaneously went to Pastaholic.... Top! Always happy to go back.

The pizza tastes like it came from the freezer, the toppings are okay, but the crust is terrible. Service is nice, the location right next to the main road is so-so.

I ordered a pasta dish today for €17 and was unfortunately very disappointed. The spaghetti was prepared with absolutely no love, tasted bland, and had little to no seasoning. For this price, I expect significantly more quality, care, and flavor. As it was, the dish was completely out of all value for money.

A short stay in Giessen, at the right place. We enjoyed it so much that we immediately went back for a second visit. Truly delicious food. Whether pasta or pizza, it's top notch. Excellent service and a cozy, modern atmosphere.

During my stay in Giessen, I ordered a Bud Spencer combo with a chocolate volcano every Sunday, and it's definitely the most delicious pasta I've ever eaten. Last week, I had the chance to go in person, and the place is beautiful.

The best pasta restaurant I've ever been to. The service is excellent, the pasta is delicious, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I really enjoyed my stay there. I loved it and hope to return soon. 💙

The pizza was very good. However, for the second time, I was missing extra ingredients for which I paid.

Calling themselves “Best Pasta in town” and then serving pre-cooked pasta and pre-cooked chicken. Absolutely nothing special, everyone gets better cooking at home. The quality is definitely not worth the price. My first and last time Pastaholic.

The food was always good, but today I ordered a pasta Robert de Niro which only had 3 half tomatoes in it, 3 leaves of arugula and a few sprinkles of Parmesan in a tomato sauce. There was no mozzarella or basil in it even though it was in the description. I could have done that at home and saved myself the food. But I have to honestly say that I've never had any problems. It was a 2 for 1 deal. It would be nice if you got what is in the description for the money and didn't save so much on vegetables that there are only 3 half tomatoes in it.

The gnochi just tasted like tomato paste. Nothing you have to buy for €12 per serving. Unfortunately I found it very unfortunate.

You don't get enough for these prices. Snack quality.

The chicken in the pasta pollo (chicken breast strips in a cream sauce) was apparently forgotten. I got a meager portion of pasta in a cream sauce for €13.90. The pizza tasted like a classic Giessen delivery pizza. I won't be ordering from there again.

Restaurant open until midnight which is very rare in Giessen. Friendly staff and at least one English speaking person. Very good food and good value for money. The Nutella tiramisu is so good.

The food is good. But we have repeatedly received significantly longer delivery times for orders than announced. If you cannot adhere to the times, you are not allowed to announce them.

I was here for the first time. Starter, main course and dessert were delicious. But what particularly motivated me to write this review was the service. That was something special. I felt totally comfortable. Definitely eat here again next time in Giessen.

Review update 2025: I now only order from Pastaholic... actually every few days. The quality has been consistently good lately and the pizzas are even better than at a real Italian restaurant! The prices should be reduced a little...around €17 for Spaghetti Bolognese (Pasta Che Guevara with cheese gratin is steep. For dessert I recommend the strawberry panna cotta. Salads weren't that great. The food comes quickly and the delivery people are always friendly.

I'm speechless, EVERYTHING A 10/10!!! Pizza was terrific & the non-alcoholic cocktail was heavenly too! The service was great too! So nothing to complain about :)))) I always enjoy coming here :)

Super nice location, super nice service, super tasty and fast. Everything is priced right and the service is great. The ambience was very nicely coordinated and coordinated with the names of the dishes.

The food was fantastic. We had caprese and mozzarella sticks as a starter and three different pasta dishes as a main course. Everything was very tasty. The May Thai was outstanding. Thank you Nusret and Jasmin, gladly again!

We don't go to Giessen that often, but when we do we come here for pasta and pizza. So far we have always received a friendly welcome, had a delicious meal and have never been disappointed.

We ended up here today on our tour of Hesse. I would like to give more stars, but unfortunately it's not possible. We had Pizza Hawai, Pizza Funghi and Pizza Salami. All pizzas were very hot. Service was very friendly, the food came within 15 to 20 minutes. Only recommended. We'll be back. Thank you very much

Food tastes good, but is nothing special. The portion for 15€ is very meager, I wasn't full. You expect more than that. Especially since the majority only consisted of pasta and cream sauce, there were really very few small pieces of chicken and other ingredients. The noodles weren't homemade either (like they used to be). You could have easily cooked this meal yourself in 15 minutes for a quarter of the price. Will do the same soon. The pizza was a good standard delivery pizza. However, I won't be ordering there again in the future, at least not pasta. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is insufficient. All that remains to be said is that the service was really excellent. It was delivered faster than expected and the man on the phone was very friendly!

I ordered for the first time 6 months ago and am more than thrilled with the store and the service and the delivery where I think it arrives so quickly that the food is delivered in a Ferrari 😅 I order the same thing 5 times a week and never thought I would write a review I love the food and the service and as a guest I demand a small pay increase for the chef for such a great job because you can taste that he really prepares it with love. Nice concept with good food. The service was very friendly and the restaurant is modernly furnished. I think it's a shame that many corners in the restaurant should be reworked so that a good impression remains. I liked the food and the selection and value for money are really good. To all critics: maybe order less to-go and eat more in the restaurant. Because you get good food for really fair money. By the way, the open wine has good taste and is fairly priced. Recommended locally.

I would prefer to give 0 stars for the service. The food was delivered one hour AFTER the stated delivery time, the pizza and pasta were cold and the additional dip paid for was MISSING. The driver also had the audacity to say the following: You shouldn't give your tip online but in cash, otherwise he won't get anything out of it. - If we hadn't given a tip in advance, we wouldn't have given him any at all given the delay and incorrect delivery. BE CAREFUL before ordering online here!

Positive: ordered something, forgot 1 pizza, 5 minutes later it was brought straight away. Food was delicious. Negative: Had to struggle with nausea etc. all day.

I really did not like the food there, the menu was wierd, the ingredients of pastas were completely incompatible with each other, eg, cream in Carbonara?! Really? Cheese and cream in a pasta with fish?!
