Stopped here spontaneously after a trip because I knew that gluten-free pizza was also offered here. The pizza was also very tasty and I tolerated everything well. We will definitely come here more often.

Wow! Arrived shortly before closing time and were warmly welcomed with dogs! In addition to the seats inside, there is a very nice roof terrace. A good selection of food for everyone and water for the dogs, as well as glances at the neighboring tables, made us curious about what they would conjure up for us. The appetizer came very quickly and was fun for more. The two main courses were as tasty as they were sufficient. Thank you for the nice end to the day. Great food and service! It is not without reason that it is one of the best restaurants in Giessen. Card payment is also possible. We would be happy to come back next time we visit Giessen.

We can only recommend the Pizza Pie restaurant. Everything is perfect here, the food and drinks are of very good quality and it tastes really good. The boss and his wife are very friendly and try to make sure you have a good time. We especially love them casual, relaxed family atmosphere. In summer on the beautiful roof terrace or in the restaurant. Keep it up, we would love to come to you. Many kind regards to the entire team.

Very friendly service, the food was really tasty and looked really appealing. The eye eats too! We ate with the group outside, which is under a roof over the actual restaurant. Unfortunately you have to climb a narrow stone staircase, the steps are difficult to walk. Unfortunately, you can't pay with a card at the table, but only at the counter on the ground floor. Toilets are only in the basement and are quite narrow. The restaurant is therefore not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Unfortunately, a wheelchair doesn't work at all, there are stairs everywhere.

First of all I have to say, the food was good. But the service...the boss served upstairs on the terrace. First of all, we had the cutlery thrown down relatively carelessly; my husband was given it on the wrong side, which wasn't a problem, although strange. After the starter, the cutlery was simply more or less thrown onto his napkin without any care. Unfortunately, an espresso that was ordered was simply not delivered, but the worst thing for me and an absolute no-go was that the boss walked around in front of everyone on the roof terrace and, sneezing loudly, held both hands in front of his nose, sneezed in there and... directly afterwards goes to a table and clears something away...sorry that doesn't work at all. Overall, you had the feeling that he didn't really care about his guests. I know service differently...

One of the best pizzas I've eaten so far. A dough straight out of a picture book in terms of consistency, taste and appearance.

Very tasty food in a beautiful & cozy atmosphere. There is a very familiar environment in which you immediately feel at home and which welcomes you with open arms. Depending on how busy the restaurant is, you may have to wait a little longer for your food, but I personally don't think that's a bad thing, especially since you get a free starter in the form of bread with olive oil and bruschetta. All in all: great Italian restaurant with quality that you can notice.

Harass the people across the street about how stupid they are to park. Food is expensive and more mediocre than good. As a guest you feel very unwanted. There's Pizza Olive 200m further, you'd better go there!

We were there with 12 people and we were treated so unfriendly... I have rarely experienced something like that in a restaurant. We don't go there anymore. Something like that is not appropriate.

I had a Tuscan pizza that was very good. It's not a Neapolitan one, which I like even better, so 1 star less. Service was good. Ambience is okay.

I remember Pizza Pie from my youth and always had positive memories. However, that was resolved after my current visit. The portions are, far from the pizzas, really tiny. The main courses are more like starters. For example, with the tagliatelle with shrimp, there were 4 shrimp and 2 mini tomatoes on the plate far away from the sauce. There was also no question like “Was everything okay?”. The service itself was mixed. The boss himself was attentive, but apart from that we as guests were neither served in a friendly manner nor were they “on our toes”. Drinks were probably only designed for one per person. However, in my opinion it is incomprehensible and a huge impudence when neighboring tables are surprised with greetings from the kitchen, but you receive nothing yourself. There was no visible system behind it. Some guests were happy, others were unlucky. Welcoming guests on two different levels so publicly ensures that we unfortunately won't be coming back. A pity!

First things first: the homemade pasta was terrible. When you order pasta with vegetables in an Italian restaurant, who would expect that a bag of frozen imperial vegetables would simply be poured on top and warmed up? With a little sauce. It couldn't be worse. Below snack level. The Martini d'Oro was OK. Service OK, boss quite snippy. And now I'm excited to see when I'll get a request from Google to edit this rezi. 😎

Overall, the visit was okay, but we're not entirely convinced yet. Maybe we'll give it another try. We were there for the first time. We had two pizzas. Tuscany was swimming with oil. The one with sheep's cheese and spinach was very dry. The pizza dough was very good. Thin and crispy. The salads on the next table looked very good. The dishes in general made a good visual impression. The prices for the pizzas are okay, the drinks prices are too high. The rest remains unrated for now. The atmosphere is very nice, modern but cozy. The service was very friendly, but unfortunately very slow. In particular, we waited over 20 minutes for the bill and had to remind it twice, while two employees (possibly the boss and his wife, it gave me the impression) were having fun in personal conversation at two neighboring tables. I expect more attention, especially if you ask for it repeatedly. Maybe not having a good day.

We were there a few times after the Giessen 46ers home games. Same yesterday. We were given a table without making a reservation and received a very friendly welcome. Yesterday's meal (Pizza Toscana and a salad with chicken breast) was really great. Price/performance is top. Clear recommendation. We would like to come again.

Unfassbar unverschämter Umgang mit den Gästen. Der Nebentisch hat das Lokal verlassen. Angesichts der Probleme in der Gastronomie fehlen einem im Pie die Worte. Nie mehr wieder.

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und Getränk kam auch recht zügig.Die Pizza war leider nur lauwarm und mein Salat „Italia“bestand aus Blätter von Kopfsalat,zwei Mini Oliven,zwei Scheiben Ei,zwei Scheiben Gurke,zwei achtel Stück Tomate,drei kleine Streifen Schinken und Käse.Also echt nichts zum satt werden,und für 9,50€ echt zu teuer.Bei dem Preis könnte man dann wenigstens bisschen Pizzabrot dazu reichen.

Der Beste Italiener Giessens, ohne wenn und aber. Das Essen ist überragend, die Atmosphäre super und insbesondere wie sauber und ordentlich das Lokal ist. Kleiner Tipp: Die Pasta mit Meeresfrüchten, von einem anderen Planeten, wow wow wow. Kommen immer wieder gerne zu euch.

Wir hatten dort unsere Weihnachtsfeier, ich selbst war vor 10 Jahren dort öfter zu Gast. Tolles Essen freundliches Personal sehr schönes Ambiente.

Die Fleisch- und Fischgerichte sowie Antipasti sind wirklich gut, Wir und Personal sind sehr nett.

Für mich das beste italienische Restaurant in Gießen! Die Tagliarini aus dem Parmesanrad sind unerreicht gut.

Nett und freundliche Mitarbeiter und tolle Ambiente mit leckere 😋 Essen

Unsere Rettung seit Jahren: Nett, familiär und unkompliziert.

Die Bedienung war freundlich jedoch nicht wirklich aufmerksam. Wir waren zwei mal da. Das erste mal waren wir enttäuscht, da auf der pizza das wasser stand und der Teig nicht richtig durch war. Die Bedienung war nicht aufmerksam und nachdem sie das essen gebracht hat, ist sie nicht einmal zu uns gekommen. Wir wollten es dann nocheinmal ausprobieren. Beim nächsten mal hatten pasta. Die Menge war für den Preis sehr gering. Die Nudeln waren an manchen Stellen nicht durch (waren auch nicht mal aldente). Die Soße war gut, jedoch hat die Carbonara nicht nach einer Carbonara geschmeckt.

Die "Pie" war nie auf unserem Schirm. Und das bereuen wir ab heute sehr. Alles war perfekt. Schätze mal, dass die Pie unser neuer "Lieblings Italiener" wird. Danke😊

Essen war okay-gut. Service ausbaufähig

Wir hatten einen Tisch für zwei reserviert - den es dann nicht gab. Resultat - wir saßen am Katzentisch im Durchgang. Der Wirt erschien uns genervt und wir fühlten uns nicht wirklich willkommen. Das war nicht so angenehm! Aber wir hatten Hunger und das Essen war dann sehr gut - der Rest wäre ausbaufähig.

Der Kellner war sehr unaufmerksam und unfreundlich.

Das Essen war super. Wir hatten 🐙 und Vitello Tonnato. Mega lecker. Und der rote Hauswein war auch lecker. Der Service war prima. Haben uns gut aufgehoben gefühlt.

I have amazing experiences at Pizza Pie restaurant! The food is incredibly delicious, the staff so attentive and the atmosphere cozy. The Vitello Tonnato is my favourite. It is a south Italian family run business, where every dish is made with love. If you are around Giessen and even Frankfurt it is a must stop.

Die beste Pizza in Mittelhessen. Die Speisen sind preiswert, aber hochwertig. Sehr lecker und immer gut.

Super Restaurant. Essen war sehr lecker, Ambiente sehr angenehm und das Personal sehr freundlich und gut geschult. Eine Pizza würde versehentlich falsch aufgenommen. Das Service ist perfekt damit umgegangen. Sehr freundlich kam die richtige Pizza nach und wir wurden sehr freundlich weiter bedient. Sieht man heutzutage sehr selten. Wer noch nicht da war -> Geht hin!

Ein sehr gemütliches Restaurant. Wir hatten zwei Pizzen („Della Casa“ und eine vegetarische mit Gemüse) und beide waren sehr lecker. Der Kellner war immer schnell zur Stelle und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders gut: das hausgemachte Tiramisu! Die Weinkarte ist auch sehr gut bestückt. Alles in allem ein Ort für einen gelungenen Abend!

Gestern Abend war ich mit meiner Familie, bestehend aus meiner Frau und drei lebhaften Kindern, im Restaurant und ich muss sagen, es war ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis. Das Essen war einfach großartig, authentisch und voller italienischer Aromen, die uns das Gefühl gaben, in Italien zu sein. Aber was diesen Abend zu etwas ganz Besonderem machte, waren die Kellner. Sie waren außergewöhnlich freundlich und aufmerksam und haben sich die Zeit genommen, sicherzustellen, dass für uns alles in Ordnung war. Die Restaurantchefs zeigten großes Interesse an ihren Gästen und kamen mehrmals vorbei, um sicherzustellen, dass wir zufrieden waren. Die Atmosphäre war einladend und familiär, perfekt für einen Abend mit meiner Familie. Ich kann „Pizza Pie“ nur fünf Sterne geben und hoffe, bald wiederzukommen, um mehr von der köstlichen italienischen Küche und der tollen Gastfreundschaft zu genießen. Vielen Dank, dass Sie unseren Abend so unvergesslich gemacht haben!

La experiencia del negocio familiar italiano.. Inigualable.. Me encanta el trato y la cercanía. La pasta artesanal y la pizza al estilo de la gran Italia.. Simplemente me encanta.

Das Essen ist super und das Ambiente angenehm. Leider war das Personal sehr unhöflich und nur freundlich zu Stammgästen.

Pizza war ok, hatten wir auch hier schon besser. Da auch der Karte explizit glutenfreie Varianten von Pasta und Pizza angegeben sind, dachte ich man könne davon ausgehen, dass die Kennzeichnung der Karte verlässlich ist...leider stimmt das nicht, gut dass ich nachgefragt habe. Der Service war lieblos, der nachbestellte Wein kam nach dem Nachtisch als wir schon gehen wollten Dafür fand sich auf der Rechnung ein Posten von 35 Euro, den wir nicht verzehrt hatten..... keine Entschuldigung, gar nichts... das geht besser!

Bester Italiener den ich Kenne! Einfach nur überragend! Egal was man dort bestellt, ich binn immer wieder aufs neue sehr positiv überrascht.
