It was ok to try out, but not my thing

Essenza is a great Italian spot in Frankfurt. Their pasta dishes are fresh and flavorful, and they offer a great selection of Italian wines that pair perfectly with the meals. The staff is friendly and laid-back, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for a casual dinner or a place to unwind with friends, Essenza is definitely worth a visit.

The Vadder disappoints significantly in terms of value for money. The restaurant tries to offer fine dining, but falls well short of this claim. The service quality is inadequate: the waitress needed three attempts to correctly take a simple order for two people (two food, two drinks). Even though she had taken notes, she then had to go back to ask again. The taste of the food itself was okay, but by no means outstanding - especially not at a price of 50 euros per person. for starters and main courses. The main course was only served lukewarm. Although the food was attractively presented, the rustic ambience did not match the high prices and the expectations this raised about the overall experience.

It's been a long time since we visited the Tarragon again due to the Frankfurt City Events' "Autumn Gourmet Weeks" campaign and were extremely positively surprised. Starting from the pumpkin-carrot-ginger soup, the triangles with crayfish, to the Wagyu sirloin steak, everything was perfect. The steak was tender, but still with a “bite” and cooked to medium rare, and was a delight. Only the dessert, the mixed cheese platter, should have been taken out of the refrigerator a little earlier so that the taste and aroma of the cheese would not be distorted by the cold. The very full seating and, above all, the smokers who often walked past our table outside were a bit annoying. Overall, however, a successful evening that we will definitely repeat. Unfortunately, we had two people at the table next to us who were "professional complainers" and who described the wonderful Wagyu sirloin steak as "inedible" to the service, which was simply inappropriate given the quality of the meat and almost an impertinence.

The best sushi in town - just to go tho- The quality and price are the best without a doubt!

Nettes kleines Restaurant in Sachsenhausen Nord. Sehr gemütlich von innen und klasse Service. Hier scheint der Chef noch selbst zu kochen. Außergewöhnliche Gerichte aber sehr frisch und Lecker. Der Dip zum Brot war ein Traum. Preis Leistung passt!
