Italians with quality in the European Quarter! Seating: Approximately 20 in the restaurant (also at the bar table), 30 in the conference room and 40 on the terrace. All very comfortable! A little hidden on Lia Wöhr-Platz in the European Quarter. Opened in February 2015. The owner Vincenzo Verrina originally completed an apprenticeship as an electrician. When he arrived in Germany in 1994, he initially worked in the service team at Garibaldi (Kleine Hochstraße/Fressgass); For the next 15 years he served in the Westend at Ristorante Il Camino, then at Ristorante L’ Unico (Mendelssohnstrasse) and then at Papanova (Eckenheimer Landstrasse). Today we were again with the group of 10 colleagues in what I call the “investment banker room”. After another group like that came an hour after us, the conversation became even more difficult in terms of volume. But all the dishes here have a special twist! Basically there are only starters and desserts as well as homemade pasta. I wouldn't want to miss the tortelloni with salmon filling in lemon sauce! This restaurant is definitely recommended. Better still in the evening (as the many bottles of wine promise). Sunday is a day of rest.

Very friendly Italian, close to the trade fair and Skyline Plaza. A bit inconspicuous from the outside, but very cozy and modern inside. Small menu with very tasty pasta and salads. The tiramisu was also excellent.

Great place for some delicious Italian food. Tasty pasta dishes and very fresh fish. Came here with work colleagues during the book fair and we will definitely recommend it. Service was also very attentive and the atmosphere is warm and chic.

The restaurant operator does not seem to be interested in statutory rest periods. The restaurant's guests and employees are regularly very noisy on the terrace until 2 a.m. (including on weekdays) without any consideration for the residents of the surrounding flats and apartments.

We were exhausted from a day of tourist stuff, were looking for a light, easy meal and were not disappointed. Our server was casual, but also low-key excellent. Pasta dishes were traditional Italian and essentially perfect.

Eating like you would at home with the family. Small menu, but what was served was top! Gladly again next time.

We found this gem of a restaurant via Tripadvisor having seen it on our last visit to Frankfurt but not having enough time to try. It’s warm,friendly and family run and very cozy inside. The staff are friendly also and welcoming. The menu is quite short but well thought out but with the addition of daily specials. My partner persuaded me to ask for fish and a beautifully cooked John Dory arrived soon after on a bed of vegetables. My partner had gnocchi with mozzarella and pear stuffing. Both were superb and rounded off with a lovely tiramisu. We had a lovely dinner.

More appearance than quality, all frozen meals.

Why this place only averages a rating of only 4.0 is a complete mystery. Should be 4.6 or more. It’s a real neighborhood gem. Simple menu but expertly executed. Tasty fresh pasta, cosy atmosphere, and good red wine by the glass. What more do you need!

Very nice and above all good Italian. Mainly just pasta dishes, but absolutely made by “Mom”. No pizzas or anything like that. Great ambience and great service.

We had reserved and were shown to a table in a more or less friendly manner. After sitting for 10 minutes we were asked to change tables as they were needed for another reservation. The other table was right at the entrance and very drafty. There was no apology or small compensation. We went.

Unfortunately very unfriendly and despite having a reservation we had to clear our table because another group had also made a reservation. We couldn't try food like that. Service but very rude. We were very overwhelmed and in the end we could only leave.

Here you can get the best beef carpaccio, and I tried many. Amazing! 😍🤩😍

Avoid the steak, it looks and tastes like it was prepared by someone that bought the steak at Lidl but never cooked a steak in their life (not seasoned, fat not caramelised) . Disappointing, which is a shame given the great service at this place.

They ruined my plan to propose to my gf. I asked to be seated at a low table so that I could have proposed to my gf and they sat us at a high table because we weren't but two people then not even five minutes later they sat a white couple at that very same table. I thought racism was ll but gone but obviously very much alive here. I agree that they are rude and not friendly to simple requests from interracial couples.

Italien in Frankfurt! Sehr zu empfehlen ist das schöne Ambiente, das leckere Essen und der charmante Service. Die Weine sind gut temperiert und sehr gut empfohlen. Vielleicht wäre noch zu kommunizieren, dass die Nudelgerichte eigentlich Primi Piatti sind, einige Gäste bemängeln die geringe Menge der Gerichte. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Super Place with lovely atmosphere and food. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe im Hinterzimmer, das Essen war gut, nur leider zu wenig. Der Kellner war mit uns überfordert, so hat er nicht jeden nach seiner Vorspeise gefragt bzw. über den langen Tisch geschrien. Wer es nicht gehört hat, hat nichts bekommen. Echt ärgerlich. Auch bei der Getränkebestellung wurden einige vergessen. Wenigsten hatte jeder ein Hauptgang.

Decided to go here based on Google and it was a great find..gorgeous authentic Italian with a cosy atmosphere. The lasage and spinach pasta I had were delicious. Limited to panna cotta or tiramisu for desserts. Panna cotta was lovely. Only disappointment was being charged 8e for one bottle of water which served three people..absolutely astronomical when wine was 6.50 a glass. Staff were quick and efficient though. I recommend but drink wine not water...!

라비올리가 먹고 싶어 찾다가 숙소 근처에서 발견했어요! 라자냐도 엄청 맛있었고 레몬에 절인 연어가 든 라비올리도 맛이 좋았습니다 그걸로 두개나 시켜버렸죠.. 직원분들도 매우 친절했고 웃음이 끊이질 않던 곳입니다! 혼자 와서 드시는 분들도 계셨고, 한국인 입맛에 잘 맞아요 특히 라자냐!

Wir waren mit 24 Leuten zu einer Weihnachtsfeier dort. Da Bestellungen lt. Karte bei dieser Anzahl der Personen nicht möglich war, wurden 3 unterschiedliche Menüs angeboten. Geschmacklich war das "normale" Essen super. Wir hatten jedoch 2 Essen für Veganer bzw. Glutenunverträglichkeit. Das war eine Frechheit. Ein wenig Gemüse als Antipasti, Nudeln mit Tomatensoße und KEIN Nachtisch für 32,50 €!!!! Der Service war auch eine absolute Katastrophe! Während im gut besuchten, normalen Restaurantbetrieb offensichtlich genug Kellner im Einsatz waren, hatten wir 1 Person, die definitiv überfordert war. Getränkebestellungen haben ewig gedauert bzw. wurden gar nicht aufgenommen! Von der Vorspeise bis zum Hauptgang hat es 1 Stunde gedauert. Bevor die Vorspeise überhaupt kam, musste ich 2 Mal nach Brot fragen. Kam dann erst mit der Vorspeise, 1 Stunde nach unserer Ankunft.

Das ist ja mal ein toller kleiner Italiener. Exzellente Tageskarte, sehr leckere Pasta Auswahl, die Nachspeisen, Tiramisu oder Panna Cotta ein Muss. Der Service ist so wie er sein soll, trotz vollem Haus aufmerksam und zuvorkommend, immer alles im Blick, um dem Gast den Abend so angenehm wie möglich zu machen. Bin echt beeindruckt. Super Team, super Küche!

A fabulous authentic Italian restaurant. Beautiful pasta dishes with traditional desserts. The cannelloni is highly recommended. Will certainly be returning in the near future.

Gemütlich aber sehr eng. Essen war nicht besonders. Hatte Lasagne. Aussen warm und innen kalt. Portionen sind ein wenig klein.

Atmosphere is lovely and they are friendly but it took a very long time before we got our food or our Cheque. We ordered Basil pesto Tagliatelle, Salmon ravioli and avocado salad no shrimps and 2 drinks. Drinks were really yummy but the food was just ok. Nothing you can’t make at home really. I have had better Italian and I am sure you can enjoy better Italian in Frankfurt

Freundlicher Service, guter Wein, ansehlich angerichtet und leckerer Parmaschinken und Büffelmozzarella als Vorspeise. Auch die Hauptspeise war sehr lecker aber dieses Portiönchen Gnocchi als Hauptspeise anzubieten, war dann doch etwas lächerlich. Bin nur deswegen satt geworden, weil ich schon halbsatt dort ankam. Allein das Schälchen, in dem es serviert wurde, mutet eher nach Antipasti Tellerchen an. Da die Qualität der Speisen sehr hoch war, vier Sterne.

Ein sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtetes Restaurant mit super Kellnern! Wir wurden freundlich bedient und das Essen hat geschmeckt.

I have to say this was an phenomenal authentic Italian meal. The restaurant is tucked away from the main strip so not crowded but had a great ambiance. I had the rocket (arugula) salad, minostrone soup and beef canneroni. The salad and soup were simple but delicious. The pasta was one of the best pastas I've ever had. The staff speaking Italian rounded off this authentic experience. Would definitely come back everytime in Frankfurt. Update, Oct 2022: I did end up coming back to Frankfurt and made sure to come back here and again, it was incredible. Had the salmon ravioli and minestrone and was delicious. An absolute delight.

A hidden treasure with wonderful italian food.

Very nice restaurant. Everything we had was delicious, especially the steak. Also very nice people. We had a show at Messe and was walking around trying to find a place to eat. DaVinc was fully booked but Vinicious (sorry if I have spelt that wrong) was very understanding and got us a table for an hour. Will definitely book in advance next time we visit Frankfurt.
