I ordered two Margherita pizzas, and neither of them had cheese on them. (2 years ago)
EDIT: It seems it was a misunderstanding back then. I went back a while ago, and everything was fine. The pizza was delicious and didn't look like the pizzas I ordered back then, which are pictured below.
One of the best Vietnamese restaurants outside of Vietnam. We tried it on our first evening in Munich and went back again on our last evening because it was simply so delicious. The spring rolls as an appetizer were scrumptious and made with fresh ingredients. The pho is an absolute must-try, and the optional spiciness was perfect. The restaurant is clean, well-organized, and has pleasant background music. The service is excellent; the staff are very efficient and friendly.
Highly recommend Maitai.
I'll definitely be back.
The food was excellent! The service was also very good, even considering the restaurant was extremely busy the evening we were there; the food and drinks arrived quickly.
The ambiance was okay, though a bit cramped around the tables. It was really busy, though.
I was a little bothered by the variety of different lamps inside, which of course didn't affect the food!
The cocktails were great too!
I would recommend making a reservation, especially on weekends.
The place is really, really popular!
I had made a reservation for Christmas Day with my family (15 people). Since my daughter (4) has celiac disease, I had inquired beforehand via email whether they offered anything gluten-free (fries, fried potatoes, etc.). The owner, Mr. Heilmann, replied that I could order something gluten-free on-site. Upon arrival, I specifically asked for gluten-free fries, which unfortunately overwhelmed the completely clueless waitress. She returned with the answer, "Fries are always gluten-free." After she made several more such remarks, I knew I wouldn't be ordering anything for my daughter there. Many thanks to the "Weinrestaurant Spundloch," which somewhat salvaged the evening for my tearful daughter! Then, regarding the food in general: I had spinach dumplings that unfortunately tasted of practically nothing, and Brussels sprouts that were already gray and overcooked. The venison and sauce were fine, but unfortunately, the dishes were only lukewarm at best. All in all, I can only advise against this restaurant, especially for people with food intolerances or allergies. They tell all sorts of stories to get people into the restaurant; the fact that people's health is at stake is clearly irrelevant.
A typical Italian restaurant/pizzeria. 🇮🇹🍕 The staff is extremely attentive and the atmosphere is very welcoming. 😊🕯️ It's a quiet place where you can relax and enjoy excellent Italian food. 🍝🍷 I highly recommend eating here. 👍🌟
Outrageous!
I ordered the mixed platter for one.
They just threw the whole thing from the oven onto the plate. I could have done a better job myself, even though I'm not a very good cook. Just look at the picture and decide for yourself!
It didn't taste good either!
I used to come here and have nice parties. Now it gets on my nerves “you two can go but your other friends can’t”.
I answered : SO BOTH OF US BECAUSE WE ARE ASIANS ?!!!!!!!! We are maybe supposed to pay more ? I was really pissed of because of the non sense. We just brought friends from France visiting “welcoming” party in Munich. Yeah… maybe we have to get dressed undecently to be able to enter. I still don’t understand why I was able to enter just me and 5 other guys and not NOW just 3 girls and 4 guys. You can’t do anything but when you care about business, security, and party, please allow travelers and true party people and not refuse because of « BAUCHGEFÜHL » ??!!!!!!!!!!!!
