The Lindner Romantik Hotel and its restaurants absolutely deserve a mention and a visit!
If Bad Aibling is your destination or a stopover,
then be sure to stop by and stay here...
Even the reception at the hotel is exceptionally courteous, friendly, and professional!
We stayed in a suite and were thrilled with the layout, the details, and the overall impression of the hotel.
Convenient and a real luxury for hotels in the heart of the city these days:
on-site parking.
Even as a restaurant guest, you simply let them know and can park with ease!
In the restaurant, we had the opportunity to enjoy a menu
which was absolutely outstanding in its coordination,
wine pairing, and
service!
In a place where your every wish is anticipated and fulfilled almost effortlessly,
there is, of course, a lovely, dedicated, and enthusiastic team behind it all... You are all wonderful and doing a truly fantastic job!

... Thank you so much for the wonderful time we had with you.
We will definitely be back!
A lovely, cozy place with good food at a reasonable price! Friendly service! Even though it was busy, the service was excellent! Fresh ingredients on the pizza! Absolutely fantastic! I'd gladly come back anytime!
I was here alone on a Monday evening. Without a reservation, I waited about 10 minutes to get a table. Making a reservation wasn't possible, as the restaurant was unreachable by phone between 5 and 7 pm. Therefore, my recommendation is to try and reserve well in advance.
I was greeted with a complimentary bowl of olives and baguette. The pizza was sensational (La Pizza Bianca Sorrentina) and is definitely the reason for the four stars and why I will certainly return, despite the over one-hour drive. The dessert (panna cotta with forest fruits) was tasty but a bit disappointing, as the forest fruits—which I was really looking forward to—turned out to be just regular jam. The wine selection is limited.
All the other dishes I saw at the neighboring tables (meat dishes and salads) looked very appealing, and I only heard satisfied voices around me.
The value for money, however, is sensational. My meal, consisting of a pizza, a panna cotta, a 0.5l bottle of still water, and a 0.25l bottle of white wine, came to €22. Olives and bread were complimentary.
The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, and they accept cash and card payments. Parking is limited, but you can find some spots on the street, and the parking lot by the Main Bridge is just a short walk away.
Unfortunately, the noise level was a major drawback; it was extremely loud. Perhaps the ceiling could be hung with sound-absorbing material.
Despite this, my overall impression was very positive, and I highly recommend Pomodorino to all lovers of Italian cuisine.
The best kebab I've ever eaten.
Must try.
....
Now we've tried pizza. Numbers 33 and 44.
Very tasty! Very well topped!
Must try the pizzas.
I had the number 33 in the "small" size, which really wasn't small. It's a perfectly normal size. :)
Disappointing Visit to the Waldfrieden Country Inn in Bad Abbach
Today, my daughter and I drove from Regensburg to Bad Abbach to eat and drink at the Waldfrieden Country Inn. A sign at the entrance asked patrons to wait to be seated. Shortly after, a server came and informed us that the restaurant/café was completely full and that we would have to wait at least 30 to 45 minutes for a table.
Disappointed, we were about to leave, but my daughter needed to use the restroom. While I waited, a couple arrived behind us. I mentioned that we hadn't been given a table because it was fully booked. After my daughter returned, we left the restaurant.
Outside, however, I noticed that the couple behind us hadn't come out. When we checked again, we discovered that the couple who had arrived about a minute after us had been seated. Upon inquiring, the server then showed us to a table as well – but with the caveat that it was only available for a limited time. We declined under these circumstances. Nothing was explained to us, and no apology was offered. Other visitors have also reported similar incidents. On TripAdvisor, for example, you can find more reports and corresponding reviews.
Overall, I found the situation very unfortunate and lacking in transparency. Why we weren't initially given a table, while the couple after us were immediately seated, remained completely unclear. As a guest, you don't feel valued in such situations. Our visit was therefore disappointing.
We dined here several times and, as always, received a warm and attentive welcome.
Since we arrived quite early, we didn't have to wait long for our food. The steak was cooked to perfection, the spare ribs were tender, and the chicken salad was also delicious.
Even though it was quite busy, the staff remained efficient and always checked on our needs.
All in all, this restaurant comes highly recommended.
The food: whether it was Pola Pola (we haven't had better anywhere else) or goulash soup, or even Kaiserschmarren, we were always extremely satisfied.
The owners: incredibly friendly and dedicated; they create a truly welcoming, family atmosphere.
We love going there.
