Ein sehr schönes vietnamesisches Restaurant mit authentischer Küche und angenehmer Atmosphäre. 🌿 Die Gerichte sind frisch, aromatisch und liebevoll zubereitet, man schmeckt sofort die Qualität der Zutaten. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Balance der Aromen: leicht, würzig und sehr harmonisch. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Insgesamt ein Ort, an dem man nicht nur gut isst, sondern sich auch wohlfühlt. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir haben fast eine Stunde auf das Essen gewartet. Es wurden alle "zum Mitnehmen" -Gäste zuerst bedient. Plastikblumen auf dem Tisch aber sauberes Ambiente.

Wir mögen es einfach dort und das Essen ist immer sehr lecker sehr guter Vietnamese. Gehen dort seit Jahren hin und ist immer ein Besuch wert 🫔🍛🍱

Wir gehen immer wieder unglaublich gerne in dieses vietnamesische Restaurant, weil hier einfach alles stimmt. Das Personal ist durchweg sehr freundlich und aufmerksam – man fühlt sich jedes Mal willkommen. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist groß und abwechslungsreich, sodass wirklich für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei ist. Egal was wir bisher bestellt haben, es war immer frisch, geschmacklich hervorragend und liebevoll angerichtet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch das sehr gute Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für die Qualität und die Portionsgröße sind die Preise mehr als fair. Für uns jedes Mal ein rundum gelungener Besuch – absolute Empfehlung!

Ich kann Ihnen versichern, dass dies der SCHLECHTESTE Service war, den ich je erlebt habe! Der Mann war nicht einmal freundlich! Es gibt zwei Oberkellner, einer davon ist ein netter Kerl, aber Sie werden es definitiv merken, wenn Sie Pech haben und dieser Ihnen zugewiesen wird! Ich glaube, der Restaurantleiter weiß Bescheid! Ich will nicht sagen, dass er seinen Job schlecht macht, im Gegenteil, er versucht sogar, unhöflich zu sein! Dieses Verhalten ist absolut inakzeptabel. Ich habe ihm kein Trinkgeld gegeben, was ja selbstverständlich ist, und daraufhin wurde er in einem harschen und aggressiven Tonfall ausfallend. Ich sagte ihm, dass das weder akzeptabel noch menschlich sei. Er meinte nur: „Ich bin nur in Eile, wir haben so viele Gäste“ und so weiter. Mein Rat: Wenn Sie dort hingehen, glauben Sie nicht einfach meinem Kommentar, sondern überzeugen Sie sich selbst! Was das Essen angeht, würde ich sagen, es war etwas fettig, wenn man das so sagen kann. Die Qualität war überdurchschnittlich, vielleicht sogar gut. Deshalb habe ich 3 von 5 Sternen gegeben. Schließlich möchte man in einem Restaurant eine schöne Zeit verbringen und sich mit seinen Lieben und Freunden unterhalten. Das Verhalten dieses Mannes hat mich aber sehr gestört und ich war richtig sauer auf ihn. Ich werde dieses Restaurant nie wieder betreten. Ich weiß, der zuständige Manager wird auf diesen Kommentar antworten: „Ja, das war wirklich daneben, wir kümmern uns darum.“ Aber mal ehrlich, Sie sind der Manager, und ich bin sicher nicht die Erste, die diesen Mann meldet. Wenn Sie es wirklich gut machen wollten, hätten Sie es längst getan! Für mich ist dieses Restaurant ab sofort tabu. Es gibt bestimmt viele andere asiatische Restaurants, und die meisten dort sind sehr freundlich und lächeln beim Bestellen. Mir ist das Verhalten wichtiger als das Essen selbst, und ehrlich gesagt ist das Essen in solchen Restaurants meistens fantastisch, weil sie Wert auf die Meinung ihrer Gäste legen. Danke fürs Lesen dieses Kommentars. Bitte lasst mich wissen, ob ihr bei einem Besuch dieses Lokals das Gegenteil erlebt, was ich allerdings nicht glaube, wenn dieser Typ euer Kellner ist.

Wir waren heute wieder bei Vu Jaa essen und es war einfach großartig. Das Essen schmeckt jedes Mal unglaublich gut, Preis-Leistung passt hier wirklich zu 100 %. Man merkt, wie viel Liebe in den kleinen Details steckt – ein absoluter Geheimtipp in Solln. Der Wintergarten ist wunderschön und sorgt für eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Die Vorspeisen sind durchweg lecker und die Pho-Suppe ist für mich ganz klar die beste in ganz München. Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne!

habe über Lieferando bestellt und habe 2 STUNDEN auf das essen warten müssen. Als ich angerufen habe wurde sich nicht entschuldigt oder erklärt sondern behauptet ich solle mich doch einfach gedulden. habe danach erstmal noch 30 min meine geduld üben dürfen vorallem weil das essen lauwarm ankam👍 danke fühle mich schon fast wie buddha

Leider hat der Service schon seit Corona nachgelassen. Im Winter ist es trotz vieler Gäste eiskalt im Restaurant. Auch gibt es keine Stövchen mehr zum warmhalten der Speisen und das Essen kühlt schnell aus. Das Essen ist gut und die Portionen OK und dem Preis Leistungs-verhältnis angepasst. Am günstigsten isst man Mo-Fr. von der Mittagskarte. Früher gab's an Feiertagen noch einen Glückskeks oder Pflaumenwein. Hier schon lange nicht mehr im Service. Zum schnellen Mittagessen und an warmen Tagen im Innen Bereich zu empfehlen oder im Biergarten. Im Winter echt zu kalt und unangenehm zu essen. Deshalb nur 3 Sterne.

Das Essen ist sehr gut, der Service etwas steif, aber das Ambiente und die Einrichtung des Restaurants sind schön. Ich komme gerne wieder und probiere neue Gerichte. Die Qualität des Essens ist für den Preis sehr gut.

Leider können wir uns den positiven Bewertungen nicht anschließen. Trotz Reservierung (14.11.25) wurden nach uns kommende Gäste zuerst bewirtet. Absolute Katastrophe in der Speisenabfolge - zwischen den einzelnen Vorspeisen fast 20 Minuten Wartezeit. Als die letzte Vorspeise serviert wurde, kam zeitgleich ein Hauptgericht mit. Fazit: gemeinsames Essen war nicht möglich. Aber der Oberhammer war der Kellner. So was unfreundliches, pampiges, mit unsympathischem Gesichtsausdruck durch das Lokal latschend... Keinerlei Kommunikation, keine Nachfrage ob vielleicht noch Getränke gewünscht werden, ob das Essen geschmeckt hat, nichts... richtig geschäftsschädigend. Wir hatten dieses Lokal getestet, da wir dort bei Gefallen unsere Weihnachtsfeier reserviert hätten. Aber bei dem Service in der Küche und dem Kellner, nein danke. Dann lieber wieder ins Restaurant Gao in der Kistlerhofstr.: Die Angestellten sind freundlich, das Essen lecker.

Preis/Leistung ist ok, das Lokal in Ordnung, die Kellner freundlich. Das Essen birgt keine Überraschungen, da Dauerkarte und nie Tagesempfehlungen.

Very tasty food, good value for money, high-quality ingredients. I've eaten here several times and tried many different dishes, all excellent. At lunch, the dishes are smaller and cheaper, but you'll still be well-filled. Highly recommended!

Rice 🍚 seemed very cheap and poorly prepared. The meat was halfway decent, but the sauces were made too thin. There's practically nothing to entertain children, except for the aquarium. Children can easily run out into the street 🏃. Service was very good and fast, but the customer isn't always understood correctly. The menu lacks clarity, and there's zero beer. The ambiance didn't blow me away. It seems a bit dull and boring at times. Overall, I didn't see any added value compared to an Asian snack bar. I think there's still a lot of room for improvement here.

The food was mostly okay. We had: - Egg fried rice with crispy duck: The rice was very tasty, but the duck was unfortunately not crispy, but rather mushy. - Bun with spring rolls: The noodles and the side dishes/sauces were good. The spring rolls, while not homemade, were no worse than elsewhere. - Bun with beef: Tasted good, but the dish had nothing to do with the name on the menu (Bún bò Nam Bộ). - Egg noodles with vegetables: The noodles and vegetables were quite good, not overcooked, just right. All in all, the food was good to okay. But don't expect it to be authentic, as some people here amusingly claim (you hardly find that in Germany either; at most, at the Dong Xuan Center in Berlin). For the high price you pay in the evening, the quality is definitely not good. What is completely unacceptable, however, is the way the older man served you. There's no greeting, no thank you, no please, no friendly smile, or anything like that. We asked for a table, and he just pointed us to one from a distance instead of escorting us there, and he did this with all his guests. He looks like he's not in the mood. The other two younger waiters, however, seemed very friendly.

One of the worst Asian restaurants I have ever been to. From the entrance to paying the bill, we’ve experienced a super unfriendly service and impolite behavior from the older guy as our waiter. He acted as if he was forced to the job. No greetings, no thanks for giving some extra tipps even though the service and the food were absolutely terrible. - the restaurant decoration, table and atmosphere are very average. - the waiting time till someone pay attention was long and we had to call him all the time. - not yet finished ordering or asking questions about the dishes he has left our table to do something else which we found very rude. - we have tried several appetizers and a few mains. The rolls in general were very greasy and not tasty. In the roll with shrimp we could not either find any shrimps or taste any. - the main dish with vegetarian red curry was absolutely tasteless which was prepared terribly. No seasoning, no taste of curry and coconut milk, simply nothing. - the duck in the bun was eatable but not tasty. The fried potato and shrimp were so greasy with no taste just oily. To conclude, it was an absolute terrible experience with super bad service and foods at high prices. A simple Edamame costs more than or similar to a higher class Japanese or Asian restaurant. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

The service was friendly and attentive; we received a warm welcome and were well looked after. The food was consistently good, especially the meat, which was pleasantly tender and very flavorful. The spicy Thai basil could be a bit spicier. For two people, I can recommend the Bang Bai Vit appetizer. The atmosphere was relaxed, and you could enjoy the evening in peace and have a good conversation. I would definitely come back and would happily recommend the restaurant.

Very good food, relatively large portions, but unfortunately, it's become very expensive. Between January and July 2025, they raised the prices of many dishes by almost €5, and that starts to add up. Before that, the prices weren't particularly cheap either. However, if that doesn't bother you, I can highly recommend the restaurant.

I was looking forward to a spicy duck curry, as advertised on the menu. The curry was extremely mild and barely seasoned, and it also lacked salt. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment for me.

Friendly staff combined with tasty, freshly prepared food. I especially recommend the Vietnamese coffee, which has a light chocolate flavor. It takes about 15 minutes to prepare, so you'll need some patience. The lunch menu is particularly good value. Duck pak choi is my favorite. The beer garden and terrace could be more lovingly designed.

Overall, a clear recommendation! There's a wide selection of delicious lunch dishes with or without starters and desserts. The portions (meat and rice) are generous, the sauce is unfortunately limited, and the prices are reasonable. The service – friendly and unobtrusive – has improved compared to previous times. Card payments work perfectly. However, I would like to always receive a bill without being asked. The restrooms weren't clean on our last visit. In the summer, sitting outside is very nice, quiet, and sheltered. However, the chairs are too low. Overall rating: 4-5 stars.

Even though the quality was not up to par for the time being (during the Lieferando phase), it's now back to top quality. Two visits and everything's as usual. As always, the 27 is my absolute favorite there: Bun-Bao Vit (bao buns with duck), very tasty and great value for money! The summer rolls with tofu or chicken are also highly recommended. Overall, the price-performance ratio is excellent.

It is a very nostalgic and meaningful restaurant for me. We stopped in front of it by chance during a business trip and had dinner. While eating in its garden, the restaurant seemed strangely familiar. I spent my childhood in Munich Gauting in the 80s and 90s. I suddenly realized that this place was once the McDonald's we used to visit as a family all the time. I had a pleasant evening in an emotional sense; and I tasted delicious flavors. I ordered Pho Bo Hanoi. It is similar to rare pho in Vietnam. The broth is a bit salty but it's ok to eat with pho.

Vu Jaa impresses with pleasantly authentic cuisine that goes far beyond what is otherwise understood by “Asian”. The dishes are freshly prepared, lovingly presented and tastefully balanced - whether classic dim sum, crispy duck or fine vegetable dishes, the cooking here is done with noticeable care. The service also deserves praise: attentive, friendly and pleasantly reserved. Special requests are implemented courteously and you feel like you are in good hands from the moment you greet us until you say goodbye. The only slight detraction comes from the fact that the atmosphere seems a bit sober in places - depending on the time of day, the dining room can be a bit echoey, and when it's at full capacity there's a bit of a lack of coziness. However, this only slightly clouds the very positive overall impression. Overall, an excellent restaurant with honest cuisine and dedicated staff – definitely worth recommending.

We had dinner at Vu Jaa again last night. The Peking soup was great! Delicious! Duck with coconut milk and chili was also great! Duck was delicious, not dry, cooked perfectly. The portion was also generous. I would have liked more sauce here, it's great too! However, the ginger tea I ordered was a disappointment. You shouldn't expect ginger tea from a tea bag in an Asian restaurant. It didn't taste good either and instead of honey there was sugar. I know it differently, completely differently and then the tea tastes good too. The atmosphere is Asian and calm. You can sit there very well, eat and chat in peace. The service is very nice and accommodating. Overall, a great restaurant if you skip the ginger tea!

The Vu Jaa is absolutely great for the price for the quality of the food. You can argue about the ambience... But the food is great. A price deduction is also granted for collection. This is second to none!

No matter where Mr. Shun opens a restaurant - it is ALWAYS a 5/5! I suspect he has a secret pact with the culinary gods or his sauces are pure luck. The food? Heavenly. The service? Friendly, faster than a ninja and always with a smile. The atmosphere? So comfortable that I almost gave up my apartment to live here. Conclusion: When Mr. Shun opens a restaurant, you should just go there - don't ask any questions, just enjoy. 5 stars because 6 is not possible!

Positive: The food was very fresh and prepared quickly. The portions were large and varied. Enough rice was also provided. The restaurant was beautifully decorated (for Christmas). Negative: It smelled a lot. Unfortunately that was unpleasant and I think as a host you have to notice it. The service was not customer-friendly, without a greeting or service orientation, tips were taken for granted and there was no farewell. The waitress was in a hurry and twice when taking the order (starter/main course and dessert) everyone at the table didn't take the order. Tip: Always reserve, otherwise you won't get in.

Food was very good. We drove here from Starmberg because of the good reviews and were very pleased with the freshness and taste of the food. Atmosphere inside is nice. Outside atmosphere: I am not a fan of the appartement blocks surrounding the restaurant, so the view in summer is probably not so nice.

We recently visited this Vietnamese restaurant. The food was great. The choice of lunch dishes was plentiful. We once had the duck bok choy, duck mango, and the pho bo. As starters the veg. Food was fantastic! Tried duck and beef tamarind for the first time and simply delicious. Service great. Then the fireworks on New Year's Eve. Gladly again and again.

We ate there yesterday on December 31st, 2024, twice duck which didn't look like duck, dry as if the leftovers had been fried twice and mixed in with some fresh duck. Complained and addressed this matter on site, the appetite was lost and the worst duck was served, the service was great. The manager was at our table and wanted to offer us a 2 portion, we had lost our appetite and I told him it would be cheeky to offer something like that. The price per portion is €20.50. Total paid €70 including starter. Not recommended!

When you enter the restaurant you notice an unpleasant smell and it was a bit cold. The food came quite quickly but unfortunately very disappointing. Meat looked old and very dry. For 2 people 70€ would be okay if the quality was right. Dry meat almost no sauce.

Were here for the first time today and had high expectations. Unfortunately we were disappointed. When you come in you are greeted by an unpleasant and very strong smell that permeates the entire restaurant. The walls were incredibly dirty... Visible cobwebs hanging next to you, stains and greasy surfaces. We weren't even sure if we really wanted to stay here and eat something...we did and were disappointed. The food comes extremely quickly (3 minutes) but that also means that everything is already ready and has been left for a long time. The beef with onions was not good at all the meat was VERY sour which was shocking. Onions not fried enough and almost no flavor in the sauce and the whole dish. It was okay but we would never come back. Service wasn't that great either. Nobody stopped by to ask if it tasted good or if we needed anything else

The lunch menu is my favorite. Smaller portions, fresh anyway. Then the day can continue with a warm soup in your stomach.

The food is good, the service is nice, the location is typically Asian - the only but BAD downer: the aquarium!! In a completely bare glass box, a few fish swim in a completely cloudy broth and literally fight for oxygen. A terrible picture!!! Please, dear restaurant owners, put a few plants and stones etc. in the aquarium so that the fish can hide and keep busy. And for God's sake clean the water regularly! Otherwise, as a guest, the food will get stuck in your throat - after all, some people will also draw conclusions about the condition of the kitchen. In any case, this is absolute animal cruelty! Did you know that fish have photographic memories and can recognize faces? These are intelligent creatures, not insentient toys. In this country, we attach great importance to species-appropriate animal husbandry!

The food is great, but the service was really disastrous. Waiter was extremely stressed, after having to wait over an hour for the main course, to top it off we had to wait almost half an hour before we could pay. Never again The table next door also had to wait a long time A pity.
