Located right in the Dorint Hotel Dorint.
The burger was a disappointment for €18.50. It had a strong, bland taste. The sauce was like a ready-made burger sauce, and the meat and bread were dry.
The portion of fries came from a bag and wasn't worth €6.
I wouldn't recommend the burger.
The two employees were very friendly and accommodating; they can't be blamed for the quality of the food.
Both pasta and burgers were delicious, the service was very friendly, and the value for money was good. Giu's Pastaria definitely deserves more attention :)
The food was very good, as was the service and ambiance. Everything could be improved, but it was simply excellent all around. 4 stars aren't enough, so 5.
We had a reservation and were eight minutes late – the reserved table was taken. The "receptionist" informed us of this in a rather brusque tone. They were willing to set a new table for us, and we waited nine minutes (!) in the hallway.
The waitress at our table was friendly and quite attentive, which lifted our spirits somewhat.
The restaurant was quite busy and therefore noisy, but the food was good and tasty.
A very nice restaurant. We had a Christmas dinner there with about 50 ladies. The appetizer was very good, but the main course was supposed to be saltimbocca, though it wasn't recognizable as such. The meat was dry, the ham was stuck on, and there was no sage. The fish was overcooked and therefore dry. The dessert wasn't worth mentioning. A shame.
The vegetarian dish, beetroot dumplings on a bed of cabbage, was tasty.
The food was significantly better at the same event last year.
This has been the best Schnitzel I've ever tried! The size of the dish is about twice bigger than any other place in Munich. The amount of different types of Schnitzel would make you want to return and try them all. They also have beers (obviously) and other food items, like grilled fish and sauerkraut. Definitely put this place on your list if you are visiting Munich and want to try local and delicious food!
A cozy, original, traditional inn. The reservation went perfectly, the food was delicious for all six of us, and the welcome and service were exceptionally friendly!
The roast pork with beer sauce was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it!
Overall, I have no complaints about this inn. Bavarians are just so different from the people I know in North Rhine-Westphalia (in a good way, though). The service was friendly and the staff had a great sense of humor.
As a fan of half-timbered buildings, I have absolutely no complaints about the building itself.
We ate inside, but the beer garden looked very inviting as well.
So, if you'd like to try some good Bavarian cuisine, I can wholeheartedly recommend this inn :)
Gilles. France. 3 people. 9/11. A restaurant, a decor, and typically German cuisine. The food is simple, good, and hearty. And I'd never heard of smoked beer...not bad at all. A lovely and enjoyable experience, go for it!
Dear Bayerpost team,
I was fortunate enough to be your guest last weekend.
I can only say thank you for everything.
The room is second to none, the young lady who looks after the spa in the morning is very polite and friendly, and the breakfast staff impresses with their boundless attentiveness.
A big thank you to Jana Berger for organizing this weekend and to Alex Sleath for the wonderful hospitality.
I would love to come back.
