I was there for lunch today and was able to enjoy the pike perch on a bed of vegetables with lemon cream sauce and rosemary potatoes. The dish was absolutely delicious and left nothing to be desired in terms of taste. 👍👍👍 The country inn was a coincidental stroke of luck, but we will visit it again on our next trip to Franconian Switzerland and definitely recommend it to others. ☺️

Update, We visited Häusler again and can only confirm our first review. Fantastically delicious roast pork, a beautiful view, and always chilled beer. Very friendly service, what more could you want? We dined here several times in the summer, and it was always very good. We really liked the location and the friendly staff. The dishes are delicious and plentiful. You should make a reservation, as the restaurant is very popular. The beer is always chilled and delicious. If you sit outside, you have a beautiful view. The rustic parlor is just as lovely and simply invites you to linger. As I'm a fan of roast pork, I wasn't disappointed. We'll be back.

Overall a really good restaurant but unfortunately our waiter had a very serious and unhelpful demeanour which made the experience substantially less enjoyable. Food was good, drinks and not too long to wait. Prices were reasonable

We ate at Muang Thai on a Saturday evening. Restaurants are known to be busier on Saturday evenings, so we had a reservation. The restaurant was almost fully booked, and the three servers were very busy. This meant we had to wait a bit longer, but if you want something fast, you should go to McDonald's. Despite the extremely high workload, the servers were polite, attentive, and made us feel like they were only concerned with us. After we ordered our drinks, appetizer, and main course, we had to wait a completely reasonable amount of time for our food. All of the dishes we ordered were very tasty, fresh, and cooked to perfection. No MSG, no frozen food, no convenience foods—no difference from what we ate in Bangkok and on Koh Samui. I highly recommend Muang Thai. The only downside: Due to the stone floor and relatively bare walls, it's a bit louder than in many other restaurants - but you can also go out to eat at other times than Saturday night.

There were five of us there. One of us ordered a salad with chicken, which unfortunately wasn't cooked all the way through. The gyro was very oily and sliced ​​too thickly. The tzatziki was very crispy and tasteless, and the fish was baked, even though it wasn't listed as such on the menu. The drinks also tasted of nothing! We are very disappointed and won't be coming back; the prices were also too high!
