We were there a few days ago, and the food was consistently excellent! The appetizers are also highly recommended, and the naan bread was next-level 🥺 Our server that evening was very attentive, friendly, and truly welcoming. 5/5, we'll be back! Thank you for the lovely evening :)

After we sat down, we had to wait 15 minutes before we could order; the place was about half full. Once service started, things went quite well, and the food was delicious. What's really not great is that the menu doesn't state how spicy the dishes are or which allergens they contain. My wife has a severe nut allergy, and after asking, she discovered that hardly any dish is cashew-free. This definitely needs to be better labeled. She was then given a special dish without cashews, which I really appreciated.

It was good, but the Jalfrezi was as spicy as Vindaloo. (What annoys me are the unbelievably high number of 5-star reviews (which are also increasing on Google), but I can't deduct anything for that...hence 4 stars.)

The food (Punjabi chicken) was dripping with oil. The last few times we ordered it, it was fine. But this time, the taste was almost entirely oil. Very unhealthy!

Incredibly good food! My favorite Indian. The staff is very nice and accommodating. I would warmly recommend it to anyone who is in Schwabing! The lunch menu is also super tasty and totally cheap. A soup or salad with curry, rice and drink is available here for €9-11! You can also sit outside.

The food was overall very tasty, but unfortunately, I found a hair in my main dish. This makes me assume that the kitchen staff might not be wearing proper protective gear while cooking, which is quite concerning. Apart from that, the food was enjoyable, except for the dessert—unfortunately, they didn’t have their signature rasmalai, which was disappointing. The service was fast and the staff was kind, which was definitely a positive aspect of the experience. However, the music really took away from the atmosphere. It was loud, repetitive, and felt like the same sad song was playing over and over again. It didn’t match the setting at all and made the overall dining experience rather unpleasant—especially considering the high prices.

I had made the reservation for two people today (Monday, 6:30 p.m), even received a reminder from the restaurant about it, and when we arrived, punctually, the place was closed! There was no information whatsoever. Another couple had the same problem and we all had to look for an alternative last minute. Not serious at all.

One of the good ones in Munich, this restaurant amazed me with its authentic butter chicken. The Vorspeisen (starters) options are good and delicious especially if you have a North Indian food preference. The food, the drinks and the desserts are luscious. Gajar ka halwa is the highlight. Highly recommend.

Edit: originally I gave 5 stars to everything as all was great when they opened. Since then the price/quality ratio significantly inverted until it reached the bottom this evening. Everything was extremely salty, to the level of inedible. And I'm the person that salts everything, however this is something that should not have gone out of the kitchen. When the waiter asked how we liked it he didn't wanna listen about any complaints and wanted to just leave our table as quickly as possible. We will not be going back anymore and it is such a shame as it's just down the street from us. Cauliflower pre dish is too spicy as well as too salty for an average European palette, but no points deducted for spiciness as that's on me.

Dear readers A real culinary delight for young and old! From meat dishes to vegan, everything tastes really wonderful. There is also great, friendly service, which only showed a bit of overwhelm when it came to small things. But the food was really wonderful, so you can't complain. The ambience offers a cozy, beautiful dining area and offers a well-stocked bar. Sources say that the boss of this restaurant also makes a great impression and engages with the customers. We were offered everything from light spirits to original Indian rum. A real insider tip from me: Butter Chicken. Wonderfully tender chicken refined with an excellent tasting sauce. Definitely worth a visit! You have to know.

We called spontaneously on Saturday and fortunately got a place for two people. We were served friendly and quickly on site. The order was taken quickly and the food came to the table quickly. The menu offers a small but clear selection of Indian dishes, exactly the classics you want. The Chicken Tikka Masala was outstanding! The portion was generous and the naan was also wonderfully fluffy and tasty. We'd love to come back! Best regards Tim

Now one of my favorite Indians in the Schwabing area! I particularly enjoy eating the Dal Mahk(a)ni and the spicy naan with it. In general I think the breads there are very good. The service is warm and calm. You can wait ~10 minutes for drinks and ~30 minutes for food. (which is fine, but may not be fast enough for some) All in all, I always like to come back because the space, volume and therefore ambience, as well as the food and price/performance are absolutely right for me. My tip: Instead of mango spritzer/lassi, try the cucumber-mint lemonade here! :)

Not at all a god place to eat. Me and my wife got diarrhoea and stomach pain after having dinner. That are not authentic at all and something was definitely off with the food

I’d highly recommend the Honey Chili Potatoes and the Gobi Manchurian to start off with. For the main course, there are multiple vegetarian and meat (chicken and lamb) as well as tandoor and biryani options to choose from. All main dishes come with rice as well. The garlic naan is also a must try. Will definitely be visiting again!

The best place where service is very good , but taste of Paneer karahi was waste of money , while dal makhni was worth it ! The best thing I like was they served Onions and chilli and mouth freshners

We tried Curry & Cumin - Indian Kitchen and Bar based on the many positive Google reviews. Unfortunately, our expectations were not entirely met. The food is solid and tastes good, but remains more in the “standard Indian” range. Anyone looking for something unusual here will probably be disappointed. The service was friendly, the ambience was fine, and the prices were acceptable. Overall, a solid restaurant, but for me there are still some details missing that would justify a 4 or 5 star rating.

What an amazing, amazing restaurant tucked away in the (relatively) quiet neighbourhood of Clemenstraße. I really cannot recommend the place enough. We were greeted with the warmest smile from Ahmed who patiently answered all our questions, recommended the delicious chilli lehsun kulcha, and was a great conversationalist. The Rajma rice was 20/10, the naan was beyond what I expected from it, the honey chilli potato transported me to the streets of Delhi, and I just couldn’t stop hogging until I was on the verge of exploding. In a nutshell, the place offers - Beautiful ambiance - Delectable food - Generous portions for very good price It’s definitely our favourite Indian restaurant in Munich now. ❤️

Authentic north indian food in Munich...cosy place and good vibes.. Akhil is a great host and extends warm hospitality. With all the calmness comes a spark of light which is their chat platters... We ordered Papdi chat, dahi Puri and Pani puri... Papdi chat was exceptional...both Pani puri and dahi puri gave a blast to our taste buds... Rotis were really soft and airy, bhartha was a classic curry...Overall, it's a must try Indian restaurant in Munich!

We had dinner 3 people. The foods are very worst no proper taste and cost is very high compared to other Indian restaurants.they don’t want to buy salt for sabji but price is as higher as mounteverest! As a indian i have never had this kind of bad experience in foreign country . But for the snapchat user should visit this as it was well decorated.

Was disappointed, restaurant is very fancy decorated. But unfortunately our dish Palak Paneer didn't taste good. You could taste the spinach that it was frozen spinach. Given the overpriced prices, you can probably expect that the dishes are prepared authentically and not from frozen products!! As a result, it no longer tasted like palak paneer and was wasted money. Never again!

I am writing this review after visiting the restaurant at around 6-8 times in last couple of months. I must say, it is one of the best restaurants in Munich. I would like to mention that one of the employees is from Pakistan and I will recommend to talk to him for food suggestions. Along with the food I liked the service and behavior of everyone working in restaurants. My personal suggestion would be onion pakoda in the starter, chicken/mutton nilgiri, mutton masala. Location wise also it’s exactly in front of Tram stop so very convenient to reach. Most importantly, book the table beforehand.

Finally there is Gobi Manchurian in Schwabing😊 And everything is really original Indian 🌶️ spicy, the bitter chicken is suitable for children, it is mild and so delicious

One of the best authentic Indian restaurants in Munich. The food is truly excellent, but what truly amazed us was the exceptional service. When I requested chips for my child, they provided them for free along with a small glass of mango lassi. Later, our drinks were slightly delayed, but to make up for it, they offered us the next mango lassi we ordered completely free of charge. I've never had such a pleasant customer service experience anywhere else in Munich before. I will definitely recommend this place and will continue to visit for its outstanding food and service.

Chili Honey Potatoes, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Garlic Naan were all on point! I kind of wanted to bathe in the masala sauce honestly…… Lamb nilgiri was not quite what we expected but was light and good. They brought extra naan on the house. Win! On a Monday night the place was empty which was great for just enjoying our meal and the environment.

It was one of the best Indian foods I ever had in Germany. Dishes are very authentic, and the pricing is very reasonable. Highly recommended!

Coming from India, I can assure you that this is one of the worst restaurant. The staff is rude and impolite. The food was uncooked, lacked flavour and basic seasoning. When asked for an extra dish for the bread, the staff refused and touched the food from my plate to make space for the bread. We confronted him about this and he was unapologetic about this. Please don’t visit this place, if you are looking for a good Indian food experience.
