This is the best Indian restaurant in Bavaria, great job! I had the Chicken Bhuna and it was the best I've ever tasted.

My go-to Indian restaurant. Always good and incredibly tasty. The service is excellent and the owner is always super friendly. They always offer me chai or lassi when I pick up my order. Even my kids love Guru and it's always a highlight for them.

We ordered catering for a small company event (21 people) and had it delivered to the office, and it was fantastic! All the options—chicken, vegetarian, and vegan—tasted absolutely delicious! The presentation was also excellent: not just standard chafing dishes, but a really lovely "Indian" look. Highly recommended!

The food is always excellent, the owner is very friendly, the staff are very friendly, the service is quick and good – everything is great. The restrooms are clean, the whole restaurant is nicely decorated and has a lovely atmosphere. The price-performance ratio is also good. I highly recommend it.

Our favorite Indian restaurant. Excellent food and outstanding service in a fantastic atmosphere. Recommendation: Palak Paneer and Garlic Naan, Lamb Boti Masala (the lamb is exceptionally tender and has a superb flavor), served with Mango Lassi (perfectly chilled and with a delicious, intense flavor of fresh mango).

We've been regulars at Guru restaurant in Trudering for about 10 years, and it's one of our favorite spots. The food is consistently excellent. My kids love the butter chicken and Lachha paratha , which is always a hit. Our Last Sunday's visit was a real highlight, as I tried the pot biryani for the first time and it was incredible—perfectly spiced and full of flavor. The hospitality here is great; the staff is super friendly and always makes us feel at home, especially with our kids. It's a truly family-friendly place with fantastic food and service. Highly recommended.

Pani Puri - just like in India! We discovered this starter in Mumbai, and it tastes just as good. The main course was also delicious, with a fresh, aromatic mango to finish it off. We sat outside, where it's beautifully decorated. The servers are friendly and accommodating. We'd be happy to come back.

Very good food. The spiciness level is listed as "European" instead of Indian, which avoids any problems in advance. I usually pick up my food, and I've had the "problem" a few times where I wasn't given a pickup number over the phone, and then I was insistently asked for it at the restaurant. Overall, though, I highly recommend it.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The food was outstanding – tastefully presented – and the ambiance was harmonious and inviting. We were particularly impressed by the chef's personal attention. He took his time with us, freshly prepared a dish (bhuna) according to our wishes, and even served us a homemade specialty for dessert. You rarely experience service like this. We'd love to come back!

I recently visited this Indian restaurant for the first time and I was absolutely thrilled! The owner was incredibly friendly, humorous, and took plenty of time to advise me on my meal selection. Instead of ordering the same old thing, I tried something new based on his recommendation – and it was fantastic! To top it all off, I even got a free dessert on the house. The service was consistently warm and attentive. You can tell the passion the people here put into their cooking and work is put into their work. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant!

Best halal food in Germany. Purely authentic Pakistani taste. Lamb karhai was off menu and exclusively cooked for us and really wonderful taste. Dum biryani was definitely one of the kind and best. Freshly cooked kheer made it even more wholesome. Best experience dining in here. All the staff is wonderful and very friendly Thank you Guru’s Team for such a wonderful time. The Guru is a very cozy restaurant with a great selection of vegetarian dishes. The service was quick and courteous. Our dog was also allowed and found it very comfortable under the bench.

From far the best indian restaurant we've done with my girlfriend. We've been there several times and you can order any meal and be sure you will love it. Everything is cooked to perfection with plenty of different flavours. All of that in an immersive indian atmosphere and welcoming staff. It is a must try !

Yesterday I came to the restaurant shortly before closing time and the cellar informed me that the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes. My wife wasn't there yet and I had the waiter recommend a suitable dish based on my wife's wishes. The recommendation was a culinary hit; we got food very quickly. We were the last guests, but despite the fact that they wanted to close until the last moment, we were served very friendly and I was allowed to take a bouquet of the beautiful table roses with me for my wife. A wonderful ending, thank you very much

We stopped by without a reservation 30 minutes before lunch and tried our luck. We received an extremely friendly welcome and were assigned a table. First we received an explanation and good recommendations, which were tailored exactly to our wishes. The food was really awesome and had the right mix of spices. All in all a successful stay and we will definitely be back. 10/10!!!!
