If you don't just want a "burger," but want a BURGER, this is the place for you. The prices are a bit higher, but everyone gets a treat, and no one goes home hungry. Very friendly staff—no matter what time of day or day. I'm already looking forward to the next time. 😋

Unfortunately we have not yet managed to eat there personally and have always had it delivered but we do not regret it, it was always very tasty

I've been searching for the best burger joint in Munich for a long time. Now I've found it. Top-notch burgers and top-notch fries.

Completely bottomless... The burger was smaller than my fist, and we ended up paying a whopping €50 for three mini burgers with a side dish. The price-performance ratio is truly terrible.

One of the best burgers I've ever eaten. We had the Double Smash Cheeseburger. Everything was perfectly balanced, and the meat wasn't over-mashed. We also had the Double Fried Chicken Burger. The chicken was freshly breaded. The fries were nice and crispy, and the truffle mayo was delicious. Even though it was busy, the atmosphere was very friendly. The drinks were great. They have Fritz Cola drinks and lots of different types of iced tea. The best part is that the meat is Halal.

The staff is great. The food is always fresh and delicious. It's recently become my favorite burger joint. In my opinion, it's a great place for lunch, afternoon, or dinner. They're also currently offering a special: €10 for a burger with fries and a drink. Thanks for reading.

I was looking for cheap food spots, and they were anything but cheap! There was hair all over the food! There were three strands of hair in one burger, and there were even hairs in the fries. Extremely unhygienic and just disgusting.

First of all, the burger is definitely not fatty; it's rather small, and the meat is a bit on the thin side, about as thick as a slice of ham. Otherwise, it was okay, and the fries were also quite good, but unfortunately, they weren't salty, and, well, for the price, I expected a bit more. The service was friendly, but unfortunately, I was overlooked several times in the first 10 minutes. It's actually quite nice, located in a nice, quiet courtyard.

I'm very pleasantly surprised, especially by the price. Until 5 p.m., they have a burger special for 11-12 euros (if you order dips) with homemade fries. You can order two of each burger at no extra charge. Great.

The best Smash Burger in Munich!!

We spontaneously stopped by for a bite to eat this afternoon and were very pleased with everything. Our burgers were delicious and, along with the side dishes, were large enough to fill us up. The waitress was friendly and quickly got everything we needed, thank you! It's great: Despite the central location, you can enjoy your meal outside in peace and quiet without any traffic noise. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop by again.

We, four adults and six children, spontaneously stormed the restaurant. The service was attentive and relaxed, the drinks arrived quickly, and the food followed shortly. Everything was full, hot, and our special requests were accommodated. The burgers were delicious, well-balanced, and definitely worth a visit! Thank you!

I found out about this burger shop via solocongioo on social media - and I wasn't disappointed! The store offers a cozy and relaxed atmosphere that welcomes you. The burgers are simply fantastic. The patties are perfectly cooked, juicy and full of flavor, and the ingredients are fresh and high quality. The signature sauce, which gives each burger its special character, is a real highlight. I tried the Double Smashed Cheeseburger and it was to die for - the combination of the two beef patties, the melted cheddar and the sauce completely won me over. I also find the lunch specials particularly cool - for anyone who wants something good quickly, there is a delicious selection here at a great price-performance ratio. There is also always the “Burger of the Week”, which is creatively and freshly prepared every time

We were there for dinner on Sunday evening. Burgers were super tasty (1x Smash Cheeseburger & 1x Double Smash Cheeseburger) and the Curly Fries were also great. The service was very friendly and the service was generally very quick. The ambience inside is a bit wild, the terrace is suitable for a burger shop. We'll definitely be back 😋

I'm speechless, I was just there. The burger was so mini. I've never experienced anything like that. In fact, the flesh was so thin that you could see through it. Someone already wrote it in the reviews: fingernail flat. I didn't think you could do something like that. Weight of patty maybe 25-30 grams… I'm not kidding. Absolute price-performance rip-off

Ordered a double cheeseburger, fries 🍟, and orange lemonade. The burgers are an easy-to-eat size and don't get your hands dirty, but they don't have much fat, so I don't think they're healthy or juicy enough. The fries are crispy, and if you don't sprinkle them with table salt, you'll get bored. The staff is friendly and nice, and you can eat either inside or outside the store. It's located a little off the main street.

The burger happy hour during the week from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. is simply unbeatable. For just €10 you get a super tasty burger, crispy fries and a soft drink!

The Fat Butcher may be a small burger and wrap joint, but don’t let its simplicity fool you - this place delivers in flavors! The tuna wrap was delicious: a warm, toasted wrap filled with crunchy lettuce, onions, sweet corn, and freshly prepared tuna. The creamy, tangy yogurt sauce, that dripped with every bite, tied it all together. The smash cheese burger was just as impressive, featuring a soft, toasted potato roll, a juicy patty, and a flavorful sauce. The curly fries were perfectly crispy and well-seasoned, and even the side salad was fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Service was friendly and efficient and the prices are fair. Bread and fries were like ready foods. Not the most fresh bread and fries. But burgers are still above avarage.

Meat, usually grilled, is the focus of the menu. Well explained by the service staff, even those who are not very familiar with the names of the individual types of meat can make the right choice. The fact that after serving, usually on a wooden board, an expert employee professionally portions the meat at the table was pleasantly new for us. The wine list proves to be extensive and well structured and anyone who orders one of the top wines should have the wine decanted - not a given at our table. Unfortunately, the seating in the inner courtyard is a bit too narrow in the outer seats. However, the atmosphere as a whole is very nice and this also applies to the inside seats. The outdoor spaces in front of the house, however, are directly on the street, which is why we understandably recommend avoiding them. If you want to follow this intention, you should ensure that you are better placed when making your reservation early. More on turtlesurf eu.

TLDR - Shake Shack meets Munich. Best burger in the city period As an American living in Munich for 4 year looking for a great burger has always been a challenge for me. Finding great flavor in a burger was impossible… till now. The search is over, I have found my new home! After the first bite I was hooked! Seriously I thought I was back in New York City in Madison Square Park eating a Shake Shack Burger. Mind you it was an up scale version cooked to perfection. The photos you see here are someone else’s order because once the burger was put in front of me, the scent made me take a bite and before I knew it, it was gone! We had the curly fries, Cole slaw and chocolate muffin. When I say everything was perfect I am not joking. Everything. You all know I am very critical on my reviews and say exactly what is on my mind, so when I tell you come here now… just go! You will not regret it!

WOW - just wow! By far the best burger in all of Munich - the sauce on the Doubel Cheeseburger is an absolute dream... and the fries are really crunchy! My wife had the Caesar salad and absolutely loved it too. There were even a few chicken strips for my daughter because she wanted nuggets and they weren't on the menu - so kid friendly too! A big compliment and here we come!

Best smashburgers in Munich! The smashburgers were simply amazing – super juicy and so delicious that we couldn’t get enough. The fries were perfect: really crispy and just to fall in love with. Would recommend the double cheese burger! Juicy, spicy and only what belongs in the burger. The atmosphere is super relaxed with good music. The team is always attentive, which makes the visit even better 🙏 You should book a place early on weekends ;)

Lovely food, cool little spot off the main road. Tasty and not too expensive for the quality. Only reason for 4 stars (and not 5) was there was fairly little meat on the wrap.

Great burger, nice service and attentive service. Second time here, and again extremely good, but really very good fries. The best I've ever eaten! However, this time the counter question was missing as to whether I would like any more sauces. So the double smash burgers were good, as were the fries and curly fries, but I wouldn't recommend the chicken burgers, they tasted like the standard ones, so nothing special. So only the Smashburger would eat there. The price was ok. Service was very nice and friendly.

Sep 11, 2024 Hello. I ordered the double cheese burger today. Super great and very tasty beef patties. According to the nice waitress, the patties are made fresh every day and are not frozen. This is exactly what has a positive effect on the taste, texture and mouthfeel. I would have liked napkins at the table. Nicely hidden shop in the courtyard, great location away from the street without any noise. I ate the double smashburger with bacon and fries. 1A top bun and meat, went down like butter, the pickles were also amazing. Very good taste experience. Very friendly service.
