Very nice mountain inn. The plum datschi was very tasty. On the terrace there is a beautiful view of the Watzmann and the Ramsau.

Simply good. We got there on a sunny Tuesday afternoon. It was well attended. The waitress came to us quickly and we were quickly served food and drinks. Food was delicious (Kaiserschmarrn and cream puffs) and the service was quick and friendly. We'll be back

Great tasty food and not overpriced.

Spontaneous stops and overnight stays after a strenuous day of travel and hiking in Berchtesgadener Land are ideal here during the holiday season. The restaurant with dining room and parlor are a feast for the eyes. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. Classics and also vegetarian meals, snacks or delicious schnitzel or boiled beef. It's great to eat here. Great service and plenty of parking spaces round off your visit to the restaurant. In the warm season there is a beer garden with a view of the Berchtesgaden mountains that can only be described as fantastic. The restaurant is perfect after a hike or for a break with family and friends. Attention: no card payment. But the Sparkasse in Ramsau is 10 minutes away down in town. The guesthouse offers modern, high-quality rooms with a balcony and TV. A small but nice bath makes the heart beat faster. The rooms are cozy and lovingly furnished. There are rainy day board games for guests. Everything tip-top and friendly. After a restful night's sleep, the guesthouse offers a delicious breakfast that meets all preferences and you start a new day full and happy in a fantastic environment. Gladly again and again. I am still full of love for this stay.

When the weather is good, there is a fabulous view from the terrace

Our absolute favorite inn in the BGL. The food is super delicious and we have already eaten the menu up and down 😀 Every dish is absolutely recommended. Price-performance ratio unbeatable. The waitresses are very friendly and on point.

I can't say anything about the food, service and ambience, which is why it's one star less. But the location is wonderful

The food and the ambience were excellent. The waiter who served us was terrific!!! Unfortunately, there is a point deduction for the welcome, which wasn't there! the blonde lady (waitress) was very annoyed and sulky. It's a shame, because a warm hello should be a given ;)

We came here for lunch after a short hike. The view outside of the valley and the mountains is very beautiful. The food was sufficient and very good. The service seemed a bit lackluster but was still quick, a little smile would be very nice for the guests. But overall it was really great here.

Kasspatzn are highly recommended. The coleslaw is also super crunchy and fresh. The view outside is very, very beautiful. Unfortunately the waitress wasn't in a good mood. I found this a bit of a shame because you didn't really feel like a welcome guest at the beginning. She didn't offer us the space inside either, even though everything was obviously free.

Enjoyed a very good meal on a beautiful terrace with a wonderful ambience. The service was friendly and funny and the price-performance ratio was great. I can only recommend it 👍

Went to the Zipfhäusel on a recommendation and didn't regret it ;-) One of the best pork knuckles I have ever eaten. We ate on the balcony with a direct view of the Watzmann. Service was nice but unfortunately a bit fake. Otherwise, absolute recommendation!!

Extremely very good food! My husband loved the goulash and I especially loved the schnitzel. The staff (service) are very nice and always have an open ear for requests. The restaurant has a great outdoor terrace with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. The interior is also cozy and stylish. Sanitary facilities clean. I had roast pork with bread dumplings and a small salad. In terms of taste, my expectations were exceeded. My wife had boiled beef with horseradish sauce. She was also very happy. Great, keep it up.

We were there for dinner. A breathtaking view of the mountains! The service (a lady and a gentleman in traditional costume) were very quick, so we didn't have to wait long for our orders. All dishes on the menu are homemade and simply delicious! The prices are within today's limits (food and drinks for 2 people for €50.50). Many thanks to the Gasthaus Zipfhäuserl.

Brilliant view from the terrace of the Watzmann and the surrounding area. I can particularly recommend the salad with cheese dumplings. It's amazing in terms of taste and also nice and big. The fries are also great. We come here again and again every year to eat.

We've been there for dinner 5 times in a row now. First of all, super friendly conditions, like man like woman. The food is always excellent and lots of it. Never leave hungry. This is not a given. Very good bourgeois cuisine. We would also like to eat there the last 2 days we are here, but the friendly staff also needs some peace and quiet. I wish you my best wishes. At the end we got a schnapps and I got a scoop of vanilla on the house. I thought that was really nice. As regular customers, so to speak. The 5 stars are fully deserved.

Kaiserschmarrn had no sugar in the dough, was very flabby and not crispy at all. Not good at all. Was there 3 years ago. Has slowed down a lot. It's a shame, never again

When I'm in Berchtesgaden for rehab or on vacation, I come by here at least once. Some hiking tours start from here and at the end you can enjoy your meal here. The Bergasthof is comfortably furnished and is ideally located with a view of the Watzmann. Food is good and the portions are a good size. Staff friendly. Parking spaces are also right next to the mountain inn. Stop by

A rustic mountain inn with very friendly service and delicious food. We sat outside on the outdoor terrace and enjoyed the view of the mountains. 🏔️☀️ The mountain inn is easy to reach via the Soleleitungsweg. The hiking trail is also very easy to walk. No problem even for inexperienced hikers. We felt very comfortable and ate very tasty grilled knuckle with sauerkraut and dumplings or a Viennese schnitzel with asparagus and boiled potatoes. We'd love to come back.

Very beautiful view. Cows walk around the street with their bells. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed that day, but the corner shop next door was open, very nice saleswoman, amazing that she is still running it at her age of 83, there was liver loaf roll and we were allowed to sit down in the garden restaurant. As she said, the restaurant is owned by her son.

Only a small menu, but the dishes on offer are exceptionally good. Fair prices.

Pay attention to when the rest days are. It would be a shame if you were standing in front of closed doors.

When I tried to make a reservation for the following day 15 minutes before the end, I was turned down rather harshly and told that I couldn't take anything anymore. I should call again tomorrow. It's a shame... customer-friendly is different...

We ate there with our whole family. At the beginning we were warmly welcomed and we all had different dishes. I had the beef goulash and it tasted great. Very tender meat and a delicious bread dumpling. All the other dishes looked great too. We were able to park on site and the view is beautiful. From here you can go on beautiful hikes for families. The changing facilities in the basement are particularly good. This is really beautifully done and not self-evident. Thank you.

After a very strenuous hike, we stopped on the beautiful terrace to quench our thirst and eat. Even though it was busy, we were served quickly and very nicely. The food was phenomenally prepared and tasted just as good. You should definitely make a stop here.

I was at the Berggasthof on Wednesday, May 15th. That day only a few guests were sitting on the beautiful panoramic outdoor terrace. Great location of the inn, the hard-working and very nice service had guests inside and outside and managed everything on their own. Good selection of food and prices. I can fully recommend the salad and the food (if you like typical Bavarian cuisine), otherwise it might be one-sided. We didn't stay that long because the day was rather cool.

The restaurant has everything I could want as a guest - the ambience right down to the toilets, service and food, which is visually very appealing.

First impression was positive, we sat outside, then a light shower came. We sat under cover and were still sent inside, with the words that the waitress wouldn't get wet. They were ignored for a long time to even be able to order anything. Service was anything but friendly. Food was ok

Fantastic view with great weather. Sitting here is a highlight. The food was very tasty and came quickly. The farmer was swathing on the side, so we had something else to observe. The service, however, couldn't be surpassed in terms of its bad mood. We've actually never had such an unfriendly waitress

This was once a gold mine. Since the change of ownership it has become smaller and smaller. The thing that made the economy great, the plum cake with lots of cream, no longer exists.

This is a place with beautiful scenery and even more delicious food. All three dishes we ordered were excellent. As a foreign visitor, I want to especially mention how delicious the Bavarian potatoes were. They conquered me! I will definitely come back for the good views and tasty food!
