Zipfhäusl in Ramsau b.Berchtesgaden

Wir sind im Urlaub in Ramsau und waren am 1. Abend im Zipfhäusl essen. Es hat alles gepasst, so dass wir am 2. Tag wieder gekommen sind und es ist einfach mega lecker. So wünscht man sich das, wenn man essen geht. Auch was man so am Nachbarstisch gesehen und gehört hat, war durchweg positiv. Wir kommen sicher noch mal wieder.

Feiner Wurstsalat auf schweizerische Art

Sehr gut gelegenes Wirtshaus mit großer Terrasse und Ausblick auf die Berge. Die Bedienung und das Essen waren prima.

Tolle Aussicht, guter Kuchen und leckeres Eis 🍨

Urig. Aber essen war super, Service hervorragend.

Traumhafte ruhige Gegend...frisch gestärkt nach leckerem Kuchen und Windbeutel eine Tour unternommen...nur zu empfehlen!!!

Köstliches Essen, das Fleisch ist butterzart. Schließt erst um 18:30 Uhr. Sehr freundliches Personal und netter Inhaber.

Die Haxe war ein Traum. Knusprig und das Fleisch war nicht zu trocken. Der Salat mit Pute in Sesampanade war ebenfalls ein Gedicht.

Von Ramsau aus geht es zu Fuß ganz schön steil hoch!

Leckere Speisen, schöne Lage, freundlicher Service (leider nur 2 Personen) und dadurch dauert das bestellen und bezahlen etwas länger.

Super toll gegessen, sehr schöne Aussicht, und hervorzuheben den jungen Mann der uns bedient hat, extrem gelassen und immer zur Stelle, ganz lieben Dank für die Bewirtung. *****

Haben nur was getrunken. Schade, dass wir noch keinen Hunger hatten. Das Essen an den Nachbartischen sah sehr lecker aus.

Durch Zufall sind wir hier gelandet. Habe hier einen Schweinebraten gegessen der hat mich umgehauen sowas von lecker 😋 den besten seit Ich mir denken kann ebenso schwärmte meine Frau vom Kaiserschmarrn. Direkt am Gebäude ist noch ein richtiger kleiner Tante Emma Laden mit einer netten alten Dame. Fazit:Germany ten Points absolut top!!

wir waren am 26.5.26 zu dritt im "zipfhäusl". perfektes wetter, wunderschöne aussicht, ruhige lage, tolles, gepflegtes restaurant. gegessen haben wir schnitzel wiener art, schweinefiletmedaillions mit spätzle und kaiserschmarrn. alle speisen haben uns ausserordentlich gut geschmeckt. angemessenes preis/leistungsverhältnis und perfekter service durch den blonden herren mit gepflegtem vollbart. ein wunderschöner tag für uns und absolute topempfehlung fürs zipfhäusl. unbedingt besuchen. wir freuen uns schon sehr auf unseren nächsten besuch! robert u. familie🤗

Wir waren in unserem Urlaub beim Zipfhäuserl gleich 3 mal Essen. Es war super lecker und frisch, auch das Ambiente und der Service konnten 100 % überzeugen. Wenn wir nochmal in Berchtesgarden sind, kommen wir gerne nochmal vorbei 😎

Wir waren mit 6 Personen da und haben nach einer Wanderung durch den Regen da gegessen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichhaltig,der Service sehr aufmerksam. Für unseren nassen Hund haben wir sogar ein Handtuch bekommen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

It's absolutely beautiful here. I stopped in quite by chance. Very well-maintained, very friendly and attentive staff, a good selection of food and drinks that are truly delicious, reasonable prices, and then there's that breathtaking view. Highly recommended!

We stopped in around 12:30 for lunch. As regular visitors to the Ramsau area for about 40 years, we were familiar with the Zipfhäusel and wanted to relive our positive experiences. It was definitely not the off-season, being the first three days after New Year's. Upon entering, we thought it was closed, despite the numerous signs indicating it was open and serving food. Then I opened the door to a small room (about 20-25 square meters, filled with about 10-12 people...)... and found a free table. We were shown to it, along with the comment, "...We're fully booked, but you've brought time and patience with you..." ???... It's clear that the air in that tiny room was thick with tension. I wondered what could possibly be considered fully booked. The main dining areas were dark and locked. And there were no tour buses parked outside. ... We then moved on to the competition 500 meters further down the road. A lovely dining room, friendly service despite roughly the same number of guests, good air quality, a great atmosphere, and excellent food. ...For us, never again the Zipfhäusel; the one a few meters further and a bit higher up is definitely the better choice!!!

We found a lovely new inn. We've been to Berchtesgaden several times before and really enjoyed this inn. The food and service were impeccable, and I was very pleasantly surprised by the prices. The inn was quite busy and has a large parking lot across the street. The interior was very cozy, and the inn has a large terrace where you can enjoy the beautiful view when the weather is warm.

The knuckle is super delicious you should order the knuckle when making your reservation

We were actually very satisfied with our stop for soup and a drink. The service was quick and good. The soup was tasty, but we only noticed it later on the receipt: a wheat cola cost €5.90. The 0.5-liter wheat beer cost €4.90, and the 0.5-liter wheat cola was €1 extra. Unfortunately, we found this excessive. Can someone explain it?

We came here without a reservation and were lucky to get a table for four. The service was friendly and very attentive. The food was served at the same time, even though all four of us ordered different dishes. Everyone enjoyed it immensely, and we were more than satisfied. We were able to enjoy the fantastic view alongside the delicious food. We would definitely make a reservation next time, as it got very busy during lunch.

Unfortunately, we only discovered this wonderful inn at the end of our vacation. The food was absolutely amazing. The inn was quaint and cozy. We'll be back next year 😀

Restaurant review: I've been back 3 years later and everything is still as good as it gets! The steak was huge and perfectly cooked, and the fried potatoes are also great! Now with a photo! Lovely location, ordered medium rump steak, got an XL medium rump steak. The fried potatoes were crispy and hot, and the server was friendly and relaxed. Unfortunately, there's no photo because I was hungry. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately I couldn't eat because it was too crowded and I couldn't get a seat outside.

Great location...very attentive and friendly. The food is down-to-earth and, given the limited seating, simple and rustic...although it can happen that the loins are oversalted and the mushrooms come from a can...certainly a slip-up, but the friendliness compensates for that.

Our number 1 in Ramsau! The food is beautifully presented, of high quality, and extremely delicious, whether it's char, knuckle of pork, roast pork with crackling, salad, Kaiserschmarrn, or anything else. The decor and furnishings are harmonious and beautiful, with love in every detail, and you immediately feel welcome. The service at this family-run business is very friendly and attentive. We've eaten at the "Zipfhäuserl" six times, and every time it's been excellent. The location is also wonderful, with a fantastic view of the Watzmann mountain panorama, especially from the beer garden. The small corner shop, which is part of the business, perfectly rounds off the charming ambiance. Overall, highly recommended 👍!

We're on a two-week vacation at Lake Chiemsee and explored the surrounding area. After nine days, we arrived in Ramsau and discovered this beautiful mountain inn. It's located opposite the Schärtenspitze and is called Berggasthaus Zipfhäusl. The view from the terrace is amazing, the staff very friendly. We (two adults, one child, and a dog) were immediately assigned a seat on the terrace with a panoramic view. After a five-minute wait, we were able to place our order. The drinks were delivered promptly, the food was served just 15 minutes later! We have to say the food was outstanding, we've never had such delicious food in all our vacations! We ordered shank of pork with sauerkraut dumplings and gravy, pork medallion with spaetzle, and 1/2 chicken with fries, along with 2 Almdudler (almond-flavored beer), 2 dark beers, and a 0.5l wine spritzer. The price, like the food, was amazing!! We highly recommend this mountain inn! If we could, we would give it 10 stars!

Very nice discovery, we have been coming to the Berchtesgaden region for 25 years and we had never been there, quiet restaurant with a very beautiful view, very friendly and professional service, only downside, the restaurant closes at 7 p.m. even in high season, I know that restaurants in Germany close early but it is still very early

We ended up here by chance because of the beautiful view and the good reviews for the food. We can only agree; the food was truly delicious. I had the Tafelspitz (boiled beef) and was absolutely thrilled. The taste and consistency of the sauce, the lovingly prepared meat in thin slices, everything was simply fantastic. My husband had the pork loin with mushrooms, which was also really excellent. We highly recommend the food, and the prices were reasonable to inexpensive. This was truly the best meal we had on our vacation!

After a hike along the Ramsau brine pipeline trail, we stopped at the Zipfhäusl mountain inn. The food was delicious, the schnitzels were very large, and the service was very friendly. Unfortunately, card payments are not accepted. Parking is in front of the mountain inn. From the outdoor terrace, you can enjoy a beautiful mountain panorama. There are also benches along the brine pipeline trail. Although the trail is well-maintained, I recommend sturdy footwear. There is also a walkable tunnel, and there are no noticeable elevation changes along the trail.

Yes, I can recommend this place! The food is really good and consistently good. We vacationed here with the family and were lovingly and generously pampered. The rooms are beautifully decorated in Bavarian style, and almost all have beautiful mountain views. We've been here several times now and would love to come back 😊

Hot meals are served Saturday to Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. There's still shade on the terrace at lunchtime, but it can be very sunny in the afternoon.

Unfortunately, the pastries under the ice cream, whipped cream, and strawberries were very dry and tough. They didn't seem quite fresh. If it gets too crowded, it's self-service. However, the hosts are generally very hospitable. The view is great, and the summer toboggan run is an absolute must! Unfortunately, the toboggan run/lift is relatively expensive...
