Gletscherquellenhütte - Texas Biergarten in Ramsau b.Berchtesgaden

Highly recommended after a hike. Is in a very idyllic location on the Ramsau - Hintersee hiking route. Good snack. Attention: Only open in good weather. From 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m

A beautiful place, delicious food and a cozy and lovingly designed atmosphere.

The store is no longer open in September and doesn't even post it on Google. Poor performance

Visually nice hut (clearing). Service (man) ok, could be a bit friendlier. Maybe had a bad day… Drink prices were very high in my opinion (we are not at 1,800m altitude).

The glacier springs are a force, and the unfriendliness of the service is not inferior. Peak holiday time, high season, 4:35 p.m., we just wanted a beer. The unfriendly answer: it's closed. 4.35pm! What a disservice.

We went there for the snack platter and were not disappointed. Really rustic and very tasty. The sauerkraut and desert were also great. Nothing special, but pretty good. The service wasn't great at all. The lady on site was very friendly, but the young man unfortunately looked like it was his first day - in the restaurant industry in general. Couldn't remember anything, one subject seemed lost. But still recommended for a hearty meal in between - I also suspect that our service man won't be working there for very long.

Great location, best plum cake, lovingly furnished and very nice staff. You couldn't ask for more after a hike.

If staff prefer to just be on their cell phones instead of selling something to waiting customers, I would worry about whether the business will survive for a long time.

Iced coffee was beautifully prepared and tasted delicious.

A totally worthwhile stopover in the early afternoon. As soon as we arrived, we smelled of freshly prepared cheese dumplings, which we immediately ordered after making ourselves comfortable in the rustic and beautiful beer garden. The two very hospitable landladies offer delicious homemade food, as well as cake specialties, which rounded off our meal. In addition, the simple but very friendly atmosphere and the great surroundings made our stay in the Gletscherquelle Hut a special experience.

Unfortunately, it's not clear anywhere when they're actually open. Annoying! We've been on holiday in Ramsau several times and they were always closed, even though Google said they were open...

Super friendly service/owner. The cake was very tasty and homemade. Our dog was welcome and there was also a drinking bowl available. The way there is easy. Families with strollers were also there. Seats available inside and outside.

The homemade cake tasted very, very tasty. Very friendly, dogs are welcome. If it rains, indoor seating is also available.

The landlady spilled the beer from the bottle while pouring it and dipped the neck of the bottle into the drink. Painting time... 0.5 became 0.3. Her comment after I told her "here you get 50 cents back. Your friend got more for that". (Which was a stone cold lie) A simple apology and clear communication would have been enough. What a fail...

It would be good if it was open, we've already stood in front of the locked door twice. According to the internet it is open! Who are those people?

Very nice stop, small but very good menu. The cake is homemade 👍. All dishes are lovingly decorated.

Great hut with a nice beer garden, friendly service and very tasty food. There is a good mix of rustic and vegetarian dishes. The homemade iced tea was terrific (wonderfully flavored, not too sweet). The Schupfnudeln with tomatoes and mozzarella were extremely tasty (seasoned perfectly) and the Wienerle with outstanding potato salad were also completely convincing! Absolute recommendation!

It can't be too much to ask to keep the opening times up to date so that you don't end up in front of closed doors even though you've walked there specifically. So unfortunately I can't say anything about the food. Shame and annoying

Urige Hütte mitten im Rauschen der Gletscherquellen. Wenn man hier vorbei wandert, lohnt sich ein Päuschen bei Kaffe, hausgemachten Kuchen oder Brotzeit auf jeden Fall. 👍

Diese kleine Hütte kann man nur empfehlen. Hier gibt es viele leckere Kleinigkeiten. Absolut empfehlenswert ist die Brotzeit.

Waren gestern bei unserer Tour zum Hintersee hier um etwas zu essen und zu trinken. Hatte das Brotzeit Brett und muß sagen, dass es sehr lecker war und eine sehr freundliche Bedienung. Komme nächstes Jahr garantiert wieder hier vorbei.

Schade das die Öffnungszeiten nicht mit Google Übereinstimmen....extra hergewandert und ist zu.....

Das kleine Hüttchen im Wald ist unser persönlicher Geheimtipp. Hier kann man super eine Kleinigkeit Essen oder einfach ein kleines Getränk einnehmen, nach einer Wanderung. Die Besitzerin der Hütte ist eine sehr liebevolle und freundliche Dame, die die Hütte und das ganze Ambiente mit ganzer Freude und Herzen führt.

Cute little beer garden run by two ladies. It’s beautiful out there with the sounds of birds chirping, water flowing, from the river near by and in nature. The choice of dishes for vegetarians are less but nonetheless we could get a few dishes. The taste was really good and the hospitality by the ladies was commendable.

We only stopped for coffees, but were impressed with the service, location and prices.

Sehr gutes Essen und gutes Bier zu angemessenen Preisen. Ein wirklicher Geheimtipp in idylischer Kulisse, weg von den üblichen überteuerten Touristen Hotspots. Und zu guter letzt eine sehr nette Inhaberin und Bedienung.

Für uns völlig unerwartet war da auf einmal diese tolle urige Einkehrmöglichkeit. Das Angebot war sehr gut und für Wanderer völlig ausreichend. Von einer deftige Brotzeit bis zu warmen Gerichten, auch Getränke, Kuchen und Eis sind zu haben. Gemütlich im Grünen mit Schirmen gegen die Sonne kann man hier sitzen. Es war sehr schön !

Leider gab es keine Burger aber das aktuelle Angebot war für eine Brotzeit sehr gut. Die Bedienung ist sehr angenehm. Leider laufen zu viele Wanderer achtlos vorbei. Für uns deutlich besser als das "Wirtshaus am Zauberwald".

Super lecker Burger und pulled Pork gegessen. Toller Biergarten!
