Wirtshaus Hocheck in Ramsau b.Berchtesgaden

Wir waren nach einer Wanderung durch die Wimbachklamm da. Aber nur zum Essen. Ich hatte das Brezn-Schnitzel mit Kartoffelsalat. War sehr lecker. Dazu eine Hausgemachte Limonade mit Zirbengeschmack. Da hätte ich gerne ein Fass abfüllen lassen und mit nach Hause genommen. Selten so eine gute Limonade getrunken. Auch die Buttermilch war frisch und sehr lecker. Die beiden Kellner waren aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Ich kann das Wirtshaus absolut weiterempfehlen.

Wir haben hier sehr lecker gegessen. Gerne wieder.

Ganz lieben Dank an Anja und Richard! Wir hatten das Vergnügen über Pfingsten bei euch zu sein und haben uns selten so wohl gefühlt wie bei euch! Die Lage der Pension, die kleine Überraschung auf dem Zimmer, der Getränkekühlschrank für die Gäste, das phantastische Frühstück, das sensationelle Essen....Es war rundum ein absolut perfekter Kurzurlaub bei euch! Auch noch einmal ein ganz dickes Lob an Cindy und Aaron - ihr habt wirklich Glück so spitzen Personal zu haben. Wir sehen uns auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir wurden sehr nett bedient. Das Essen war recht schnell serviert und hat auch gut geschmeckt. Ein guter Ort um kurz zu rasten und Kraft zu tanken.

Waren hier nur zum Essen (keine Übernachtung), nachdem wir den Wimbachklamm besucht hatten. Das Essen war super lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich! Obwohl es voll war, hat man für uns trotzdem einen Platz gefunden. Die Kasspatzn als auch das Breznschnitzel sind eine absolute Empfehlung, ebenso wie der Brautspritzer (Getränk). Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder essen!

Die Schweinshaxe war die beste, die ich je gegessen habe! Die Rindfleisch-Suppenknödel waren etwas salzig, aber die Portionen waren riesig! Parkplätze sind direkt vor dem Restaurant vorhanden.

Wie immer ist es im Wirtshaus Hocheck sehr lecker. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältniss stimmt absolut. Und Richard macht mit seinem Team einen hervorragenden Job. Freundlich und zuvorkommendes Auftreten und schneller Service!

Das beste Essen, das wir je nach einer Wanderung hatten. Auch das Bier war gut.

Was soll man dazu noch sagen? Einfach absolute Weltklasse 👍🏼🙏🏼 Wir waren heute rein zufällig im Hocheck. Wir würden unfassbar freundlich vom Chef begrüßt. Sehr freundlich, immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht und auch immer für einen Schwatz zu haben 😊 Ich hatte mir die Haxn bestellt und meine Frau Bärlauch-Käse Spätzle. Beides war absolut toll und lecker. Das Essen war innerhalb von 15 Minuten da und besser kann man es nicht machen. Mit Abstand die beste Haxn die ich je gegessen haben. Zu guter Letzt noch einen tollen Obstler und es war eine rundum gelungene Mahlzeit. Besser geht es nicht 👍🏼 Großes Kompliment

Ein kurzer Besuch während eines Spaziergangs, nur auf einen Kaffee und ein Dessert.

Das Cordon Bleu mit der Kerndlpanade war lecker, aber nicht besonders groß - der Kartoffelsalat zwar kühlschrankkalt aber sehr sehr lecker (mit Gurken) Leider waren an dem Tag Spätzle aus (normale und mit Bärlauch) obwohl diese auf der großen Karte noch beworben wurden Das Chili sin carne war ok, aber mit drei winzigen Scheiben Baguette zu wenig und damit den Preis nicht wert Die Bedienung war freundlich und schnell

Wir waren zu zweit mit Hund im Restaurant. Sind beeindruckt von der Gaststube ( so wie man sich ein bayrisches Wirtshaus vorstellt). Sehr freundliches Personal, eine Speisekarte die keine Wünsche offen lässt. Leckere Speisen zu moderaten Preisen. Wirklich empfehlenswert

Außergewöhnlich gutes Restaurant. Sehr netter Service und das Essen war ein absoluter Traum. Wir können die Kaspressknödelsuppe und die Käsespätzle sehr empfehlen.

Einer der besten Orte, um alles zu genießen – Essen, toller Service und Atmosphäre. Die Schweinshaxe war fantastisch, genauso wie die Suppe.

Wir kehrten nach dem Rückweg von der Klamm ein zur Brotzeit, es war recht voll, trotzdem hat der Service für uns ein Plätzchen gefunden, auch ohne Reservierung. Der Wurstsalat mit Brot war eine große Portion und geschmacklich top, der Hochecktoast herausragend.

Wo bekommt man schon ein Backfisch aus Welsfilet? Sehr lecker. Auch das Brezznschnitzel ist sehr zu empfehlen. Mit Blick auf Watzmann kann man gut sitzen.

A recommended stopping point before or at the end of the walk along the Bridges Trail. We stopped for toast which was very tasty. The service was courteous and in English.

This is our second time here, and this time for three weeks. Very friendly hosts, and the food is delicious. The rooms are very well-kept, and the view from the balcony of the Watzmann and the Wimmbach Gorge is a dream… like a fairytale. We can only highly recommend it with complete satisfaction.

We were there in February and they didn't have Bavarian delicacies but rather American specialty weeks. But these are also absolutely recommended 👍Very good, very plentiful. Absolutely insanely delicious food! The Kaiserschmarrn in particular was amazing – fluffy, sweet and perfectly prepared. Each of us also loved the main courses – typical Bavarian food, very tasty and perfectly prepared. We were totally thrilled and will definitely come back. Clear recommendation!

Waiters refuse to sell, preferring to look at their cell phones instead of taking orders. As an owner, I would reconsider the choice of personnel, even in times of staff shortages

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the rooms. Had lunch there. A couple of great pubs. Very nice and fast service. Food delicious. The restaurant is quaint and cozy.

A rustic inn in a top location at the beginning of the Wimbach Tales. If you only want to eat there, you should take the small climb up to the inn to your own parking spaces and avoid the 6 EUR (minimum amount!) parking fee for general visitors. The inn has a chestnut beer garden and two indoor dining rooms. The menu is very extensive and the prices are fair and bearable. The quality is very good and the service is friendly. A special feature is that it is open until a maximum of 6 p.m., but overall it is highly recommended for lunch and afternoon.

This restaurant offers standard German food. You will find roast pork, schnitzel, dumplings, etc. I had the jaegerschnitzel which was served with a very generous helping of gravy.

Were here for dinner. Meals excellent, portions absolutely sufficient, value for money absolutely justified. Very nice beer garden. Really recommended. 👍

Went to eat in the beer garden after a previous hike. Very nice service. Food was well prepared and tasty. Price/performance ratio fits well. Enjoy it... Many other guests were eating outside. Thank you! I can't rate the hotel itself with rooms etc.

I would like to give even more stars than there are ;) We sought shelter from the rain after a hike to the Wimbachklamm. We received a very friendly welcome! We chose a seat inside. We immediately had drinks at the table. We actually didn't want to go out to eat. But we won't forget THAT. We have never eaten such a good schnitzel with alpine cheese filling and Kaiserschmarrn. Thank you very much for this little highlight on our vacation. Very nice people and waitresses. Everything was super clean and very lovingly furnished

Delicious dinner there yesterday and great service! Ate spare ribs with fries with my friend. The meat just fell off the bone! You also get a nice big plate full! If you are a big eater, you can enjoy a full plate of food here. Good location also near the Wimmbachklamm. The only pity is that you have to pay parking fees there.

Went here to the inn after a visit to the Wimbachklamm (without informing in advance) and were pleasantly surprised. Very sumptuous and tasty food, A1 service, not too expensive for the food in connection with the location.

Today we ate the Ramsauer Kaas schnitzel with potato salad, Kassspatzn and together the yeast dumplings filled with blueberries. Everything was excellent and absolutely recommended. We will be back definitely !

Excellent cuisine, very friendly team and great location 😍 It's understandable that they close at 6 p.m. ... if there were more staff to be found, 7 or 8 p.m. would be better ... then you wouldn't have to have dinner so early. In my opinion the best cuisine in Ramsau!

Everything was perfect. Comfy rooms w great views from the balcony. Incredible food. Richard and the other hosts were very welcoming. I would stay again.

The food was very tasty. What's great is that there is also the option to order smaller portions. The vegan "schnitzel" (actually more of a vegetable thaler) was also very good and something different compared to the usual vegetarian dishes in the region.

We recommend! Tiptop gastronomy, nice hosts, great breakfast, clean, historic, beautiful location - the only note: the bed in “Leni” was much too soft for us, we could only compensate for the uncomfortable “rest” by putting our head towards the foot end slept on the bed. But then it worked! Maybe check the mattress and slatted frame and replace it if necessary. In any case, we'll come back again.

Это была вкусовая поэзия! Очень нежный, приятные специи, сверху посыпан тоненькой стружкой из сушеной тыквы. Шницель с альпийским сыром внутри. Можно выбрать вид присыпки для шницелей: мы выбрали особую, с зернами и семечками! Благодарим за вкусный ужин! За заботу!
