A very beautiful and stylishly decorated town hall. We were there as a group and enjoyed delicious food. The selection was excellent. The service was super fast and very friendly. They're happy to give this place 5 stars. We'll be back.

If you're coming from out of town, you can easily park across the street at the supermarket. The atmosphere is new and stylish. The service was incredibly friendly. The selection of food and drinks is excellent; there's something for everyone. The restrooms are very clean. Overall, you can really feel comfortable here. ❤️

Oh and WOW!!! What a world-class treat that was yesterday at Restaurant Alois. Rosina Ostler and the kitchen team unbelievably went the extra mile and conjured up a menu that was truly beyond sensational, including many feel-good elements. It was amazing. Added to that, fine wines from Julien Morlat were celebrated, and the service from Michael Reinhard and his team was once again fantastic. Thank you so much for this culinary experience.

The kebab is probably the best in the area. The guys are friendly. Everything is delicious!

Food quality was really good. Tasted delicious. The beef was cooked perfectly. The pasta was al dante. Loved the sweet potatoes fries though! We were so full halfway through the dessert.

Of course, it's delicious food and there's plenty on the plate. If you don't get full, it's your own fault. Highly recommended.

The restaurant may not be particularly large, but that's precisely what makes this place so charming. The atmosphere is cozy, and you immediately feel welcome. I ordered a pizza there, which was truly fresh, crispy, and delicious—you can taste the high-quality ingredients used. The service is particularly noteworthy: the staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. You always felt like you, as the guest, were the center of attention. Despite the restaurant's rather small size, the overall experience was very positive, and I can recommend it to anyone who values ​​good food and excellent service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

I order often. It's always been delicious. It's nice that they also offer some vegetarian and vegan main courses! A great addition to Aschaffenburg, and I'll be back again soon. Keep it up! 😊

We received a very friendly welcome, were immediately shown to our tables, and served right away. Our pizzas were delicious, and the salad also seemed really fresh and crispy. The "beer garden" in the courtyard is quiet, and you hardly notice any traffic or other noises. I would like to highlight the waiter, who was really super friendly and personable. We will definitely be back!

The food was delicious. The ambiance was lovely. But the portion of a spaghetti dish was much too small. Six forks were all gone. With a side dish, it wasn't filling. But the waitress's reaction was much worse. She just shrugged her shoulders and said, "There's nothing I can do." Totally unacceptable. At least an apology would have been appropriate. In our restaurant, we would have offered the guest an alternative right away!

Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio isn't in line. A real shame! First of all: When a restaurant wants to compete in a certain price category, it naturally creates certain expectations for me as a guest. Unfortunately, these expectations were missed at After Church. We had a table for two on a weekend evening. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted shortly afterward and shown to our reserved table. The interior design didn't blow us away; it seemed a bit haphazard and thrown together randomly. We found the lighting too bright for an evening dinner. There were no candles at the table. We would have preferred those to the bright overhead lighting. We opted for the clams for our starter (18 EUR), the octopus with mashed potatoes, and the bacalhau with carrot puree (both 30/31 EUR) for our main course. When we asked which of the Vinho Verde wines best complemented our selection, the waitress was unfortunately unable to provide any information. We had expected that. The bottle of wine arrived already opened, which I consider unusual. A new bottle is always opened when the guest arrives, so they know the wine hasn't been sitting around for a while. Unfortunately, that was a bit unprofessional. Fortunately, the wine was very good and paired well with the meal. The clams were delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. There was nothing to complain about here. The main course was different. Both dishes were presented very simply. The puree took up a large portion of the plate. The fish was simply placed to the side, skin-side down (why?). The dishes tasted good, but were nothing special. The fish and octopus were cooked to perfection, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, my fish was riddled with bones. As a guest, I expect (especially at that price!) that the chef will remove most of the bones to the best of his ability for a fish fillet. Conclusion: Too expensive for what you get. I can eat much better in Munich for that money. Additionally, the service should be improved; they should be more attentive, refill their glasses, and know how to serve wine. I expect all of that in this price range. It's a shame, because in my opinion, a truly good Portuguese restaurant definitely fills a niche market in Munich and has a lot of potential.

We had lunch together at the Harthauser Hof on Saturday, October 18, 2025. The food was excellent, especially the shoulder of pork. The host served us personally and friendly. We would like to recommend this lovely restaurant.
