We were guests at the Pension Würmtalhof and also tried the in-house restaurant. The room was extremely well-kept and offered a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside. The beer garden, right on the Würm River, is truly a hidden gem. The service was extremely attentive and the food was of outstanding quality, all at a fair price. We would definitely be happy to return. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

Highly recommended! At the Würmtalhof, just for dinner – the roast pork was very good, tender and juicy, the two dumplings were fresh and fluffy, and – not a given these days – topped with buttered breadcrumbs. Excellent! Accompanied by a dark beer from Augustiner, served at just the right temperature.

I can't comment on the rooms; we were there for dinner. The service was great, and the lavender dell'imo was delicious. We're skeptical about the food, but we were very satisfied. The roast beef with onions was good quality and cooked to a nice medium rare, the fried chicken was crispy and juicy, the salad was very tasty, and the bread chips as a garnish were a very good and tasty idea. The roast pork was very tasty, good and crispy, and had a very tasty touch of spices that you wouldn't normally expect. The dessert was the Kaiserschmarrn, which was very tasty caramelized, and the Guglhupf with cream was delicious. Thank you very much, we'd be happy to come back. Best regards to the chef.

We immediately felt at home at the Würmtalhof! The staff is incredibly warm and attentive – you feel immediately welcome. The rooms are cozy, lovingly furnished, and very comfortable. The inn, located right in the hotel, was particularly convenient! This allowed us to enjoy a relaxed meal in the evenings, and the food was excellent every time. We'll definitely be back!

What can I say? This restaurant has been around for a long time; it used to be better. Tradition meets modernity seems to be the motto. While terrible pop/rap music blares through this "Bavarian" restaurant, you sit there and wonder (the garden might be more comfortable, but it was rainy in July, so that wasn't possible). The menu is small, which is actually an advantage, as it means everything is usually fairly fresh and authentic. Then you get the typical "Augustinerschweinebraten" (roast pork) with the typical potato dumplings (so small they're ridiculous), with the same consistency as you'd get at the Augustinerkeller, Augustinerstüberl, or Schweizer Hof. I guess everything comes pre-made from the same supplier (Metro?). The portion was also meager (one small dumpling, two thin slices; a stocky colleague of mine asked if we were getting the senior citizen portion, given how old we already looked). The service, at least, was friendly and attentive, and payment was quick, so we could leave quickly.

I can't comment on the rooms, but the food and the homemade lemonade were divine. The menu is refreshingly creative. The small beer garden is quiet and cozy, right on the Würm River, and the service was very friendly. The prices are more than fair. A gem.

After all the well-known beer gardens in the northern Munich area were full, we discovered this lovely pub garden while looking for an alternative. It was a real stroke of luck. The service was super friendly and quick, but never intrusive. Our entire group of six enjoyed the food, and they happily serve hot meals throughout the day. The location, directly on the Würm River, is excellent, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The interior also made a good, clean impression. We would be happy to return. Reservations are recommended. Cashless payment is possible. We found parking nearby.

This review refers exclusively to the restaurant: Good, homemade Bavarian cuisine with Kässpatzn (cheese spaetzle), Gröstl (sausage salad), schnitzel, a snack platter, as well as salads and fish dishes and vegetarian alternatives. The well-stocked menu is complemented by a weekly special. The restaurant is bright but cozy, the staff friendly, and the food is of good quality. Augustiner beer rounds off our very positive experience. Parking is available on the street, but space is limited. You're sure to find somewhere within walking distance. The kitchen satisfied our hunger even after 9 p.m., which is quite a special experience these days.

Crazy prices for a guesthouse in the outskirts of Munich. Outrageous service to say the least, they treat you with condescension and indifference, especially the two Chinese girls at the reception and customer service. More than a welcome, it seemed like a mockery, mainly driven by an incomprehensible hatred towards Italy and Italians. I strongly advise against it, I will not return.

Chinese manager has no idea how to behave with customers. Rude and on the verge of nervous breakdown, she addresses customers as if it were a favor, she yells at you, we asked at 11.30pm to be able to enter through the main door and she yelled at us that the room key also opens the front door... good I think, if someone had told us! Plus as a final treat she made jokes about Italians, Italians know that we are not welcome here, the Chinese lady accepts you as a favor and takes your money but despises Italians and treats you like a criminal. Middle Ages. Never again.

A beautiful, modern inn and a very friendly guesthouse. The rooms were very clean, cozy, and inviting. We felt completely at home! The shared balcony, in particular, offered a fantastic view of the Würm River and the surrounding greenery.

Unfortunately, it was a bad experience. The room was mostly clean. The double room was extremely small (we had the impression that it had previously been a single room, into which a double bed had simply been put). We tried to switch rooms, but were told that all rooms were that size and that the other double room was also taken. (According to the website, there are three??) As you can see from the pictures, there are no bedside tables next to the bed (not enough space), only next to the door. The opposite wall is completely bare (which confirms our suspicion that the closet must have once stood here). The writing desk is positioned lengthwise under the mirror, which is crammed into the corner, away from the wall, as the curtain rod prevents it from being pushed close to the wall. Even the wardrobe shows that this room is only designed for ONE person. The floor is cold and bare, with no carpets. For my husband (75 kg), we put a blanket from the car over the mattress because he could feel the springs. The shower is leaking, and there was a puddle in the bathroom. We felt extremely uncomfortable and are used to much better, even for less money. What a shame!

We celebrated our civil wedding with 15 people at the Würmtalhof on May 15, 2025 😊 and everything was simply perfect 😊 The food (starter, main course, and desserts) was delicious, and all of our guests raved about it afterward. The aperitifs were also first-class. Many thanks again to Matthias; everything went smoothly with the planning beforehand, and Matthias handled the service brilliantly on the day. At the Würmtalhof, service to guests is still very important, not least because of the very likeable young innkeeper but especially because of the male waitress (the regular guests all know him), who has inhaled and lives the idea of ​​service! Food and drinks super good and reasonable prices and portions! Try it and you'll feel it...

Our rating is purely based on the inn, we didn't spend the night there. The inn is classically and beautifully furnished, making you feel right at home. Our waiter was very attentive and extremely friendly and engaging. We ordered schnitzel, cordon blue and spaetzle for our one-year-old son. It would have been great if the spaetzle had been brought straight away and not with our meal. Schnitzel and Cordon Bleu were very good. However, the schnitzel is very, very thin, you almost have to look for the meat in the breading. A little thicker would be better in my opinion.

We always enjoy coming back for dinner. It tastes very good, is quick and is reasonably priced. The varied weekly menu always offers something new. Be sure to leave room for dessert - it's so delicious every time ☺️

Good restaurant with good food and friendly service

We were here for our Christmas party and were well looked after. The chestnut cream soup had a great flavor. The fried chicken with potato salad tasted great. For dessert we had Kaiserschmarrn, which was fluffy and with two kinds of compote! The service was attentive and quick and responded very flexibly to our requests!

Had a very pleasant stay at the Pension. There is also a cozy cafe/restaurant underneath. You can reach the Metro in no time and there is a bakery opposite. The rooms were clean and tidy.

Last night, six of us and our baby ate at the Würmtalhof for the first time. We were served in a very friendly manner. Food was very tasty. Had schnitzel, fried chicken, burgers and pumpkin spaghetti. Everything is great. We are already looking forward to the next visit :)

The place was nice, we ate reasonably well, the beef fillet was inedible, it was probably defrosted a few minutes ago or a few years old. Instead of taking care, he did nothing to satisfy the customer, even making him pay. You need to get help. Thank you all the same

My wife and I stayed there recently for several days. The room is clean and well maintained. They also have a restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is great. If you visit Munich, don't forget to try this place.

I thought the drink and the food were perfect

Go before 9. I went with my boyfriend, we arrived at 9:31 that day, we ordered drinks and then food (we ordered before 10) we waited 20 minutes for the food, then they told us that the kitchen was closed, AFTER MAKING US WAIT 20 minutes. We finished the drinks and left at 10:10 pm. The schedule they show here is for the bar/restaurant.

Best economy in Allach and the surrounding area! The food is always excellent and we haven't had a single dish here that we didn't like. Here comfort meets first-class quality. Great service at all times, always friendly and courteous, even when stressed. Great seats on the Würm! We come here regularly to eat and can only recommend it to everyone!

The food was good, and the small river was pleasant and cool.

We arrived at arround 21:40. They let us order our drinks and then we ordered our food. Around 20 minutes later they come back and say the kitchen is closed and we wouldn't even get what we ordered. We ended up leaving at 22:10 when their website say they open the restaurant until 23:00. The place was almost empty and they still took very long to let us know that the kitchen was already closed.

Staff is lazy and not willing to set up more tables in the beer garden because it's too much work!

Functional rooms, uncomfortable mattresses, but rooms clean. A disgusting smell comes into the room from outside (street side), even though there were no garbage cans outside. The front window therefore had to remain closed. There was never anyone at the reception when I left the guesthouse. The restaurant is quite nice and practical. I ate a salad with chicken breast strips. It was good, but nothing extraordinary. If you want coffee and breakfast in the morning, you have to go to the bakery opposite. It wasn't a problem, but it's not understandable to me since the restaurant could definitely offer something early in the morning. Ok for two or three nights for the price, but for a longer stay I would choose a real hotel.

Great Bavarian economy. Finally the house was breathed back into life. The owners and their team all work hard and are very nice. Food is excellent and of good quality. Outside you sit right on the street, which usually doesn't bother you because as a local you feel like you know every third car. If it bothers you, you can enjoy your cold Augustiner in the backyard in the small, idyllic pub garden on the Würm.

Extremely great team from service to cuisine and the ambience is also unique. Tip: sit at the back of the beer garden on the Würm, right by the water under a huge chestnut tree.

My partner and I had dinner here and it was incredibly good! We are blown away. Despite only having one waitress who distributes food and drinks, takes seats and takes orders, there is no rushed atmosphere. The food was A1 and we will definitely come back more often. We had: cheese spaetzle, asparagus cordonbleu and apricot dumplings.

Stopped there spontaneously and rather by chance and ate well, the portions could be a little larger (e.g. sausage salad), then in addition to the cozy and friendly atmosphere, the price-performance ratio would also be great.

Our visit to Würmtalhof was a real pleasure from start to finish. This quaint inn not only offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, but also a culinary experience that you won't soon forget. We chose Kaspressknödel, baked Camembert and, at the end, an excellent Kaiserschmarrn. Every dish was perfectly prepared and exceeded our expectations – simply delicious! Particularly noteworthy is the attentive and friendly service. The staff was very accommodating and made sure we didn't lack for anything. You don't just feel like a guest here, but almost like part of the family. I can only warmly recommend the Würmtalhof and am already looking forward to the next visit. For anyone in the area and looking for an authentic pub with excellent food, the Würmtalhof is the perfect choice. Gladly again!

An absolutely outstanding restaurant. The food and the staff are impressive. We have been here several times for dinner or to spend a cozy evening with friends. It really has to be said that we have visited this restaurant again and again since day one and the quality of the food as well as the service staff has always been top. In my opinion, this shows that this restaurant has the ambition to stay here in beautiful Allach in the long term, as neither the quality of the food nor the excellent service has changed. We are already looking forward to our next visit and will also consider this restaurant for our next birthday. Keep it up!!!

Absolutely TOP!!! After the change of ownership, a refreshing wind is finally blowing here! I really have to say that the change here only led to a positive result! Every food we tried there was tip top! Of course you can't meet every taste, but if you're looking for frozen food and ready-made ingredients, you're definitely in the wrong place here. I'm not a gourmet, but you definitely get fresh and delicious products here that have been prepared to perfection. I can in no way understand or understand the negative recession regarding tough products. Maybe these people would be better off at the next fast food restaurant... In addition, the service is very courteous, not intrusive and is available if you have a concern. Reviews are and remain a personal impression. I say thank you and keep it up!!!

Tja,zu Abend hier Tiroler Geröstl gegessen.Eigentlich liegt hier ja die Betonung in Geröstel wie geröstet.Geröstete Aromen,Fehlanzeige.Das waren geschnittene Knödel,aber mehr breiig,also im Mund beim kauen wurde die Masse immer mehr.Leider war der Fehler auch bei mir.Die Karte nicht genau gelesen, sonst hätte ich das nicht bestellt,weil ich das nur mit Kartoffeln kenne.Also meine Vorstellung war eine komplett andere.Dieses hier komplett aus Knödel gemacht, was mit diesem Essen für mich sehr fragwürdig ist.

Service und Essen war sehr gut. Eine Rechnung haben wir allerdings nicht erhalten !?! Mich hätte nämlich schon interessiert was die "Verwechslung" in der Küche dann noch bedeutete.
