Würmtalhof Pension & Wirtshaus in München

Our rating is purely based on the inn, we didn't spend the night there. The inn is classically and beautifully furnished, making you feel right at home. Our waiter was very attentive and extremely friendly and engaging. We ordered schnitzel, cordon blue and spaetzle for our one-year-old son. It would have been great if the spaetzle had been brought straight away and not with our meal. Schnitzel and Cordon Bleu were very good. However, the schnitzel is very, very thin, you almost have to look for the meat in the breading. A little thicker would be better in my opinion.

Super delicious food that strikes a balance between Bavarian pub tradition and modern cuisine with a twist! A regular haunt!

We always enjoy coming back for dinner. It tastes very good, is quick and is reasonably priced. The varied weekly menu always offers something new. Be sure to leave room for dessert - it's so delicious every time ☺️

The price/performance ratio is excellent. The staff is friendly, and the food at the inn is delicious. This is my third time here, and I have to say I'd go back anytime.

We live nearby, but this was our first time at this restaurant. I have to say, however, that we were very pleasantly surprised. It's cozy, the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable, too. We enjoyed it! We'll definitely be back when the garden opens.

We were there with a group. The food took a little longer than we expected, but the food was fine. We had, perhaps coincidentally, local folklore music. That gave the waiting a different dimension.

We eat there often and really enjoy it. Or even just the delicious DINZLER. So far, we've never been disappointed. Everything has always tasted absolutely delicious and is of the finest quality. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fantastic! And the service is also very friendly and accommodating, always looking after the customers. The menu is very clear and minimalist, with a selection of classic dishes. And there are also children's dishes for the little ones. There's a daily changing menu with special dishes, depending on the season.

Absolutely great experience! Friendly staff, excellent service and a first class atmosphere. Highly recommended. Really good food, again at any time.

We were here for our Christmas party and were well looked after. The chestnut cream soup had a great flavor. The fried chicken with potato salad tasted great. For dessert we had Kaiserschmarrn, which was fluffy and with two kinds of compote! The service was attentive and quick and responded very flexibly to our requests!

Nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, there was a party at the next table when we visited and they were extremely loud. Otherwise everything was ok.

Very good food, goose leg very tender, incredibly good red cabbage and the sauce is a poem! Plus, good Augustiner, had a nice Kirta evening. Until next time 👍🏻🍻

Had a very pleasant stay at the Pension. There is also a cozy cafe/restaurant underneath. You can reach the Metro in no time and there is a bakery opposite. The rooms were clean and tidy.

Nice rooms, friendly staff and great price

The place was nice, we ate reasonably well, the beef fillet was inedible, it was probably defrosted a few minutes ago or a few years old. Instead of taking care, he did nothing to satisfy the customer, even making him pay. You need to get help. Thank you all the same

Last night, six of us and our baby ate at the Würmtalhof for the first time. We were served in a very friendly manner. Food was very tasty. Had schnitzel, fried chicken, burgers and pumpkin spaghetti. Everything is great. We are already looking forward to the next visit :)

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming pub with a beautiful pub garden and it was simply fantastic! The garden is a green oasis - very well maintained, cozy and perfect for a relaxing evening under the open sky. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a rustic feel and a friendly, attentive team who genuinely care about guests' well-being. The food was excellent - traditional dishes made with fresh, local ingredients. The roast pork and the homemade dumplings are particularly recommended. The drinks menu also leaves nothing to be desired, with a good selection of beers and wines. I can highly recommend this pub, whether for a dinner with friends, a family meal or just a relaxing afternoon in the garden. A real insider tip!

Have eaten there many times - always extremely good!

My wife and I stayed there recently for several days. The room is clean and well maintained. They also have a restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is great. If you visit Munich, don't forget to try this place.

Only ate here. Delicious, plate full. I had the Munich schnitzel. 2 pieces with fries and salad. Highly recommended. Fast and smooth operation. Parking is available in the street behind it

I thought the drink and the food were perfect

Go before 9. I went with my boyfriend, we arrived at 9:31 that day, we ordered drinks and then food (we ordered before 10) we waited 20 minutes for the food, then they told us that the kitchen was closed, AFTER MAKING US WAIT 20 minutes. We finished the drinks and left at 10:10 pm. The schedule they show here is for the bar/restaurant.

Best economy in Allach and the surrounding area! The food is always excellent and we haven't had a single dish here that we didn't like. Here comfort meets first-class quality. Great service at all times, always friendly and courteous, even when stressed. Great seats on the Würm! We come here regularly to eat and can only recommend it to everyone!

We arrived at arround 21:40. They let us order our drinks and then we ordered our food. Around 20 minutes later they come back and say the kitchen is closed and we wouldn't even get what we ordered. We ended up leaving at 22:10 when their website say they open the restaurant until 23:00. The place was almost empty and they still took very long to let us know that the kitchen was already closed.

Staff is lazy and not willing to set up more tables in the beer garden because it's too much work!

Functional rooms, uncomfortable mattresses, but rooms clean. A disgusting smell comes into the room from outside (street side), even though there were no garbage cans outside. The front window therefore had to remain closed. There was never anyone at the reception when I left the guesthouse. The restaurant is quite nice and practical. I ate a salad with chicken breast strips. It was good, but nothing extraordinary. If you want coffee and breakfast in the morning, you have to go to the bakery opposite. It wasn't a problem, but it's not understandable to me since the restaurant could definitely offer something early in the morning. Ok for two or three nights for the price, but for a longer stay I would choose a real hotel.

Great Bavarian economy. Finally the house was breathed back into life. The owners and their team all work hard and are very nice. Food is excellent and of good quality. Outside you sit right on the street, which usually doesn't bother you because as a local you feel like you know every third car. If it bothers you, you can enjoy your cold Augustiner in the backyard in the small, idyllic pub garden on the Würm.

Extremely great team from service to cuisine and the ambience is also unique. Tip: sit at the back of the beer garden on the Würm, right by the water under a huge chestnut tree.

My partner and I had dinner here and it was incredibly good! We are blown away. Despite only having one waitress who distributes food and drinks, takes seats and takes orders, there is no rushed atmosphere. The food was A1 and we will definitely come back more often. We had: cheese spaetzle, asparagus cordonbleu and apricot dumplings.

I was just eating. Can really recommend the restaurant. Very good asparagus with juniper ham. Dessert was beautifully decorated and tasted great. Prices are completely ok.

Stopped there spontaneously and rather by chance and ate well, the portions could be a little larger (e.g. sausage salad), then in addition to the cozy and friendly atmosphere, the price-performance ratio would also be great.

Our visit to Würmtalhof was a real pleasure from start to finish. This quaint inn not only offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, but also a culinary experience that you won't soon forget. We chose Kaspressknödel, baked Camembert and, at the end, an excellent Kaiserschmarrn. Every dish was perfectly prepared and exceeded our expectations – simply delicious! Particularly noteworthy is the attentive and friendly service. The staff was very accommodating and made sure we didn't lack for anything. You don't just feel like a guest here, but almost like part of the family. I can only warmly recommend the Würmtalhof and am already looking forward to the next visit. For anyone in the area and looking for an authentic pub with excellent food, the Würmtalhof is the perfect choice. Gladly again!

Very good restaurant since the new chef. The food is really good... the service is extremely friendly and attentive. Nice little beer garden with a few tables right on the Würm. Price wise for Munich conditions. I can't say anything about the rooms because I live in the neighborhood and only eat there 😊. Definitely recommended for eating 👍

An absolutely outstanding restaurant. The food and the staff are impressive. We have been here several times for dinner or to spend a cozy evening with friends. It really has to be said that we have visited this restaurant again and again since day one and the quality of the food as well as the service staff has always been top. In my opinion, this shows that this restaurant has the ambition to stay here in beautiful Allach in the long term, as neither the quality of the food nor the excellent service has changed. We are already looking forward to our next visit and will also consider this restaurant for our next birthday. Keep it up!!!

Absolutely TOP!!! After the change of ownership, a refreshing wind is finally blowing here! I really have to say that the change here only led to a positive result! Every food we tried there was tip top! Of course you can't meet every taste, but if you're looking for frozen food and ready-made ingredients, you're definitely in the wrong place here. I'm not a gourmet, but you definitely get fresh and delicious products here that have been prepared to perfection. I can in no way understand or understand the negative recession regarding tough products. Maybe these people would be better off at the next fast food restaurant... In addition, the service is very courteous, not intrusive and is available if you have a concern. Reviews are and remain a personal impression. I say thank you and keep it up!!!

Very nice Wirtshaus with high quality food and great service. Nice little beergarden out the back as well beside the river, great in summer. Would be great if they added more vegetarian options, but besides that it's a place I'm always very happy to visit

Tja,zu Abend hier Tiroler Geröstl gegessen.Eigentlich liegt hier ja die Betonung in Geröstel wie geröstet.Geröstete Aromen,Fehlanzeige.Das waren geschnittene Knödel,aber mehr breiig,also im Mund beim kauen wurde die Masse immer mehr.Leider war der Fehler auch bei mir.Die Karte nicht genau gelesen, sonst hätte ich das nicht bestellt,weil ich das nur mit Kartoffeln kenne.Also meine Vorstellung war eine komplett andere.Dieses hier komplett aus Knödel gemacht, was mit diesem Essen für mich sehr fragwürdig ist.

Service und Essen war sehr gut. Eine Rechnung haben wir allerdings nicht erhalten !?! Mich hätte nämlich schon interessiert was die "Verwechslung" in der Küche dann noch bedeutete.

Wir waren zu einem 4-Gänge-Menü mit Weihnachtslesung vor Ort. Das neue und junge Team ist superfreundlich und vor allem auch im Service sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen war wirklich klasse von Anfang bis zum Schluß. Die Speisekarte ist angenehm übersichtlich und läßt daher den Schluß zu, das dafür alle Speisen wirklich mit besonderer Liebe zubereitet werden. Die Gasträume sind sehr stimmungsvoll und heimelig eingerichtet. Wir haben uns gestern Abend sehr wohl gefühlt.

Freitag Weihnachtsfeier unserer Firma: Sehr gut gegessen, super Service. Dann das Schneechaos - und kein Taxi mehr zu bekommen. Und dann? Dann habe ich bis zum Schluß gewartet und wurde vom Betriebsleiter nach Hause gefahren !!! Wenn das kein Service und Kundenbindung ist, nochmals vielen Dank.
