We ordered there via Lieferando almost 3 weeks ago. We ordered pizza twice, a pinsa, a large mixed salad and a tiramisu.
The delivery came on time and the gentleman was very friendly. He explained that for the pizza with Parma ham, the ham was not delivered and so they replaced the ham with another one. The replacement was delicious and filling and we also received a discount, so that wasn't a problem for us.
Unfortunately, instead of the 2 pizzas and a Pinsa, we received three Pinsa. The arugula was also extremely sandy, so much so that both the salad and the pinsa with arugula crunched between my teeth with every bite.
However, the quality and taste of the rest of the items were very good, so we hope that we were just a bit unlucky with our order.
A beautiful cellar restaurant with history, the food was very good, the prices were very reasonable, the operators were very friendly and familiar, all in all highly recommended 👍
First and foremost the steaks were great!! Amazing flavours amazing cuts! Let down by mediocre sides. Mac and cheese was not Mac and cheese, it was a baken oven pasta at best. Chilly cheese fries were cold! Vegetables had so much salt it was not tasty at all! Service was not attentive, and as well they could not wait to have a group of 14 which paid nearly 2000 euros to have them out. To the point where we went for a smoke they took the drinks away which were still half filled! Overall the experience was a let down. When the server dropped and whipped my phone off the table and landed flat on the floor that took the last straw. The manageress told me to write an email, proceeded to insist that only my security foil is broken and not the screen, even though there was scratches and a dent on the frame. At least she took some pictures and said I should send an email. Anyhow, the meat is great, the atmosphere to, it it could be so much better
The burger was too small and the sauce too sweet. The salad was made with crispy chicken breast, which was a ready-made product. Overall, the salad was bathed in a sweet/sour sauce, not tasty. And the bill: €42.20 for two burgers and a salad is definitely too much in my opinion...
An absolute gem of Munich gastronomy!
What Chef Simon has created here is a true masterpiece of culinary harmony. The menu is not only creative and diverse, but perfectly coordinated down to the smallest detail – an orchestral experience for the palate that is second to none.
Added to this is one of Munich's best wine lists, which has already received awards for good reason. A selection that delights connoisseurs and inspires explorers – here, every drop finds its perfect moment.
The whole thing is carried by a gigantic team led by host Bene. Each one is a character, an original, a personality – exactly what is often missing in Munich's gastronomy and is found here in concentrated form.
And then this sunny spot! In summer, there is hardly a more beautiful place in the city. Surrounded by a loving atmosphere, the gentle rippling of the fountain, and the warmth of the sun – a place where you want to linger, enjoy, and simply be happy.
All in all: a complete experience of the highest quality. Incredibly good – and definitely a place you want to discover again and again.
The terrace right by the steamer pier is very beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The staff is very friendly! We had breakfast there as a couple, which I highly recommend. However, I have to criticize the bread basket for breakfast. The price for breakfast is perfectly reasonable considering the location. The side dishes, the egg, etc., were all very tasty! However, the contents of the bread basket are very meager for two people! Perhaps this can be improved in the future! Otherwise, I would give the food a full 5 stars, too, because we arrived at the restaurant with great anticipation and left happy and full!
Great shop. Good prices. You get a lot of salad, especially, for €8. I would have preferred a bit more espresso and, above all, Marsalla for the tiramisu. Sure, kids can eat it without it. But Marsalla belongs there. The atmosphere is functional but also has a certain charm.
How can you possibly charge so much for frozen goods (which are actually better)? Advertised as "Best Burger," Germars offers "lower-middle-range goods" for the price of "Best Burgers." Please look for a regional supplier! If they were actually fresh, that would reflect the "Best" taste and also do justice to the price.
And unfortunately, they were served lukewarm.
The service, however, was very friendly and courteous. You're doing a great job!
The decor is also attractive.
