I can't understand the multitude of very positive reviews.
Unfortunately, there's no menu here, just handwritten blackboards in Italian. You have to know what kind of pasta looks like, and what goes in which sauce. There's not much more than pasta in various forms.
We waited almost an hour for our dishes, even though only one other table was occupied.
Half of the dishes we ordered were excellent, the other half average at best.
But for €14.50 per plate of pasta, you can't expect to be full. The portions are rather modest.
A glass of wine (0.1 l!) cost €4.50. This was surprising, since there's no menu with the prices listed.
Apart from the slightly too loud music, which made conversation difficult, the seating in this restaurant is quite pleasant.
Would you recommend it? Not really.
Unfortunately, the Italian radio plays constantly in the restaurant, which made it very loud throughout the entire restaurant. The food was okay, but there was quite a lot of garlic in every dish, and the waitress always acted as if she was annoyed.
The rather small beer garden is lovingly decorated, albeit simply—but not bad for that: Service was amazing 🥰 The food was very good! We'd love to go back.
Today, on September 24, 2025, I ate Indian starters and main courses. Very good, very tasty.
Service was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back.
I was already excited before my first visit. The rather rustic, Asian-inspired ambience seems very warm and cozy without being overloaded. The reception was very friendly. The Eastern European colleague was incredibly warm and gave the stay a good grade. The food was quite excellent. We will definitely come back soon.
I'm really impressed!
Had the pizza pocket today (spicy), super delicious, and at a really fair price 👍
And I also got to enjoy a nice chat with two really friendly people during the very short wait, free of charge.
I'll definitely be back.
Thanks 🙏
On Friday, October 18, 2024, we were at the church fair at the community center. We have to say we've never experienced anything like it before—the hall was completely packed. We called and wanted to make a reservation for the evening, and the nice gentleman on the phone said just drop by, there were still two seats available somewhere.
And that's exactly what happened. We managed to get two seats, but it's a constant coming and going.
The service was very friendly and quick and brought us our drinks.
Now I'd like to say something about the food: we had a large bratwurst with potato salad and bread. You could also get half-potato salad and half-coleslaw. I haven't had such a great tasting sausage in a long time. Huge praise goes to the kitchen staff and the chef, and the potato salad was also top-notch, top-notch.
Today, October 20, we were there again and tried the delicious duck. I have to say the price/performance ratio is absolutely reasonable, and the duck was really, really crispy. I'd like to give a huge recommendation to the community center. You guys were all fantastic.
We'll definitely be back next year.
