Pizzeria IL Pallone da Marcello in Pfaffenhofen a.d.Ilm

I originally wanted to go somewhere else, but the restaurant was closed. This place was Plan B, so to speak. The staff was very friendly and answered all questions patiently. The food was good, but not perfect. The arrabiata wasn't spicy at all, not even a bit. Unfortunately the pizza was black in places on the bottom. Unfortunately the company seems to be poorly organized. Two dishes we requested were not available at all. Only the third order could be prepared. But it was just standard, nothing special. What bothered me the most, however, was that one of the unavailable foods was "Grilled Salmon" and salmon was supposed to be unavailable. A few minutes later, however, pasta with salmon was ordered *and accepted* at the table next door. I wouldn't have had a problem ordering alternative salmon dishes, but they weren't even offered to me. I thought for a long time about how many stars I should give and then decided on four stars because everything else was fine. The food was delivered quickly and tasted good, apart from the points mentioned above. Overall, the service was OK and the prices were surprisingly cheap. But it wasn't perfect.

Very cozy pizzeria, very friendly and familiar with good food. The price-performance ratio is also impeccable. Our two goldies were also allowed in “of course”. A real insider tip!!!

We were there last week. The food was very so-so, didn't deserve its money. The atmosphere was very friendly and nice. It's just a shame for such a pretty place, it could definitely be better, from the food to the music. The toilet is a complete disaster. In summer it might be more pleasant with a garden, but unfortunately I can't recommend it to anyone now. In my opinion, if an Italian restaurant doesn't smell like pizza, it's not a real one. I only give 3 stars for the friendliness of the atmosphere.

Cozy Very nice there friendly and nice Marcello is recommended, definitely try it out, it's not as extremely crowded as other Italian restaurants. Reserve a table 😉

I've been a regular at Marcello's for years and I have to say his cuisine is really top! The price-performance ratio is extremely good. Service and ambience are excellent! A visit is worth it! 👍

Seit über 25 Jahren essen wir von Marcello perfekt zubereitete Antipasti, Pasta, Pizza, Fisch, Fleisch und Desserts und jetzt im Il Pallone auch sehr gute Pinza und genießen die sardische Gastfreundschaft mit stets freundlichem Service. Terrasse mit schönem Ausblick über die Sportanlagen ins Grüne. Günstige Preise bei guter Qualität.

Waren heute zum Mittag da, mit 6 Personen und war sehr zufrieden. Dessert zum krönenden Abschluss ein Traum. Wir kommen wieder.

This restaurant is really great. Marcello can make anything that you like. His seafood and pasta rivals anything I have ever eaten in my home Miami. I highly recommend it. You will talk about it lo g after you leave.
