The best Greek restaurant around! I like to drive 25 km just to eat there. Super nice service, delicious food, large selection. No wish is denied, every single service staff always has a smile on their face, even when you just walk past. Keep it up, you're great! Unfortunately I can "only" give 5 stars, you clearly deserve more.

It's just great food buffet drinks, the landlady is also very nice and friendly. As a Saarlander, I always come here to eat four times a year on vacation

Not recommended. Food is really not good and not worth the price. Service unfortunately not outstanding.

The only negative first. The food came super quickly. We had a lot of time. Reservations are urgently needed. It got really crowded. Otherwise there was ouzo before ordering. That made me want more 🍾😄 Great food. Super nice service.

I've definitely been to Greek restaurants several times. But I had never eaten as good as I did at Socrates. So delicious. You can taste that it is freshly cooked. The service is also really great. And the ambience... fantastic.

Super friendly staff, fast service, starters were there after 10 minutes, before that there was a salad, 10 minutes later the main course so top cuisine, each of us's food was very tasty, the meat was juicy, nothing was over-seasoned and tzatziki was top. All in all a very good Greek restaurant that I can only recommend!

We've been coming here again and again since it opened. It's as tasty as any other Greek place and the service is super friendly. Always worth a recommendation. I also think it's really nice that it's open all day on Sundays. Super. Keep it up.

Super delicious food Top service Nice ambience A perfect place to meet up with friends and family or to unwind and relax with a great meal after a stressful day. We come regularly and have never been disappointed. Even when it's very busy, we still managed to get a spot without a reservation. Can only recommend the restaurant.

Cozy location. Food came quickly, beautifully prepared and was very tasty. Ouzo and non-alcoholic aperitif as well as a delicious dessert on the house. Waiters unobtrusive and attentive. We would love to come back 😀

Very very good food. Not everyone can prepare calamari. I particularly liked the version with sheep's cheese filling. The tzatziki was wonderfully creamy and with lots of garlic. Unfortunately, in other Greek restaurants I was served completely inedible calamari that was almost impossible to chew and the tzazki was very watery, so I'm happy to have found such a great Greek restaurant. There was even dessert and ouzo on the house. The service is friendly and what particularly impressed me was the air conditioning outside. An absolute blessing in the current high temperatures. I don't know that from any other restaurant.

Very tasty food here, typically Greek, just great. The waiters and kitchen are on their toes, so you don't have to wait long. What I like best is the TV outside ;-) where you can watch the most beautiful places in Greece. Since Greece is my absolute favorite country, it is always something special for me. A lot has now been renovated or redesigned. The facility invites you to feel good.

1. EVALUATION. It was a very beautiful evening. Very tasty food. Fast service and very friendly. 2nd review 1 year later: So far we have always been very satisfied, but today it wasn't as good as usual, the garden was full but we had reserved. Actually you get an ouzo at the beginning, not ok this time, we thought maybe at the end but no not, but the other tables certainly did. I have observed tables that have received one before and after. The dessert on the house was just put on the table without a word. If you don't know that because it's your first time there, it's strange. Then we thought ok, there will be an ouzo at the end but no, not either. We then paid and left. Today I was very disappointed. Even if it's voluntary from the host, it's not so great if everyone else gets one or even two and one table doesn't.

Very nice owner, very nice staff, always friendly and approachable. Food comes very quickly and tastes excellent. I am very satisfied and have rarely visited such a delicious Greek restaurant. The staff laughs with you. It's my Greek roots and I wouldn't want to miss it. I can only wholeheartedly recommend you go there. They're having a birthday party, etc.

Food is always great!!! The staff is actually always nearby and fulfills any requests very quickly, but they often ask themselves when your drink is empty or the cards are already closed and you are ready to order. The beautiful ambience means you can quickly relax or enjoy the fresh air in the outdoor area, even if it is relatively close to the street. The food, service and ambience are simply great and worth the bill plus tip. I wish something like this existed more often :) My favorite restaurant so far

Restaurant Socrates offers the best Greek food in Pfaffenhofen. The dishes are authentic and fresh, especially the souvlaki and moussaka are excellent. The espresso is surprisingly good and comparable to the best Italian coffee. The service is friendly and attentive. Highly Recommended!

Tight and uncomfortable, the rest is fine

I've known this restaurant for years, the only thing that has changed in that time is the decor, the service is still very nice and friendly, the food is still great. The decor has of course only improved, you can see that there is constant investment in the guests' experiences. I can only recommend the restaurant, whether you order something to take away or for lunch it is always a great choice.

I took home the warm octopus twice as a starter and the gyros with grilled calamari and pita with garlic. Conclusion: excellent food at home. I celebrated my birthday there. For me personally, everything was absolutely delicious. They even turned on music for me and gave me a delicious ice cream sundae. Definitely recommended and the prices are okay for the portion. The waiters and employees there are totally friendly
