Gänsbauer in Regensburg

Wir sind für ein Wochenende nach Regensburg gekommen und haben unseren Aufenthalt heute mit einem Essen im Gänsebauer begonnen. Unser Fazit: Besser hätte es nicht sein können. Angefangen beim ausnehmend netten Service bis zum angenehmen Ambiente und dem köstlichen, wunderschön angerichteten Essen. Dürften wir „echte Sterne“ verleihen, dann würden wir das gerne tun! Wenn wir wieder nach Regensburg kommen, dann wird der Gänsebauer auf jeden Fall eine Pflichtstation.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend im Gänsbauer. Die moderne türkische Küche ist wirklich etwas Besonderes traditionelle Gerichte werden kreativ und hochwertig interpretiert. Geschmacklich alles hervorragend abgestimmt und optisch wunderschön angerichtet. Auch das Ambiente wirkt stilvoll und elegant, perfekt für einen besonderen Abend. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell. Preislich gehoben, aber für die Qualität und das gesamte Erlebnis absolut angemessen. Klare Empfehlung!

Das war ein absolut unvergesslicher Abend. Der Service war unglaublich aufmerksam und herzlich, und die Atmosphäre im versteckten Hinterhof einfach magisch. Ich gehe beruflich oft essen, aber das Essen hier war wirklich ein besonderes Highlight.Vor allem das Lammfilet, das der Chef für uns kreiert hat und das bald auf der neuen Karte zu finden sein wird, war mit Abstand das beste Lamm, das ich je gegessen habe – perfekt auf den Punkt, unglaublich zart und voller Geschmack. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat uns begeistert: gehobene Küche auf sehr hohem Niveau, dabei aber deutlich fairer bepreist als viele vergleichbare gehobene Restaurants. Ein rundum außergewöhnliches Erlebnis, das ich nur wärmstens empfehlen kann!

Super leckeres Essen. Unbedingt Menü nehmen!

Geschäftsessen auf höchstem Niveau – absolute Empfehlung! Wir waren kürzlich mit Geschäftspartnern im Restaurant Gänsbauer und waren von Anfang bis Ende begeistert. Das Menü hat uns auf ganzer Linie überzeugt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Riesengarnelen als Vorspeise – wirklich einige der besten, die wir seit Langem gegessen haben. Die Hauptspeise, ein hervorragendes Lammgericht, war ebenfalls absolut empfehlenswert und hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Ein besonderes Highlight war der Kontakt mit dem Koch und Inhaber persönlich – äußerst sympathisch und man spürt sofort die Leidenschaft, die er in sein Restaurant steckt. Amb­iente, Service und natürlich die Küche – alles auf einem ausgezeichneten Niveau. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und können das Gänsbauer jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der ein besonderes Erlebnis sucht!

Geschmacklich war es sehr gut, jedoch war die Portionsgröße (vor allem für den Preis) sehr unbefriedigend.

Auf Empfehlung waren wir hier mit Freunden zum Abendessen verabredet und bestellten uns mehrere Tapas als Vorspeisen und drei Hauptgerichte, eines davon vegetarisch, vegan abgewandelt (ohne Schafskäse). Gleiches galt für den Olivensalat. Geschmacklich war alles wirklich lecker und fürs Auge sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Auch die hausgemachten Limonaden waren lecker. Wirklich gesättigt war allerdings keiner von uns. Speziell das vegetarische / vegane Hauptgericht wurde ohne Beilage serviert. Alles in allem waren uns die Speisen und Getränke zu hochpreisig bzw. die Portionen zu klein. Vielleicht kommt man mit Fleischgerichten hier eher auf seine Kosten. Oder bedeutet gehobenere Küche einfach, dass man davon eher nicht satt wird? Das Ambiente ist wirklich schön, das Servicepersonal war freundlich und aufmerksam.

Mal wieder Gänsbauer: eine lange überfällige Rezension für eines, der schönsten Lokale in Regensburg! Dieses Mal habe ich mich für ein Drei-Gänge-Menü entschieden und was soll ich sagen: einfach rundum großartig. Der Service war aufmerksam, herzlich und dabei angenehm unaufdringlich. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen, was nicht zuletzt auch an der persönlichen Begrüßung durch den Chef de Cuisine liegt, ein Detail, das hängen bleibt. Kulinarisch war alles auf den Punkt: • eine sehr stimmige Vorspeise, • ein perfekt gegartes Ribeye Steak mit Selleriestampf, • und zum Abschluss ein fantastisches Künefe, das den Abend ideal abgerundet hat. Für 45 € dieses Menü zu bekommen, ist mehr als fair, die Preis-Leistung ist absolut top. Wer wirklich erleben möchte, was türkische Küche auf hohem Niveau bedeutet, kommt am Gänsbauer nicht vorbei. Klare Empfehlung und ich komme definitiv wieder.

Wir waren vor ca. 1,5 Wochen an einem Sonntagabend bei Gänsebauer essen und wir fanden es toll. Wir würden super herzlich begrüßt, und toll beraten mit einem Menü, welches gerade angeboten wurde. Schlussendlich durften wir eine sehr leckere, super authentische Küche genießen mit toller Weinbegleitung und sehr netter Bedienung. Das Fleisch war perfekt gegart, das Brot warm und fluffig, und das Gemüse al dente. No complaints :), wir kommen wieder.

Hatten das Silvester Menü: 3 von 4 Gängen sehr gut. Die Nachspeise (eine Tart) recht einfallslos und sehr teigig und trocken. Das wäre viel besser gegangen. Die Weinbegleitung (4x 0,1) war für uns deutlich zu teuer (40€) für das was man bekommen hat. Dann lieber selbst die Getränke aussuchen. Service war nett, aber in der Preisklasse haben viele Kleinigkeiten gefehlt. Nach der ersten Runde Getränke wurden wir kein einziges Mal mehr gefragt ob wir noch was möchten; obwohl unser Wasser ca 1 Stunde leer war. Zum Steak gab es kein Steakmesser - danach wurde uns gesagt „wir hätten ja nur fragen müssen“. Für 3 Gänge das gleiche Besteck. Ist nicht schlimm - aber bei fast 200€ für 2 Personen, könnte man ein frisches Besteck nach einem Fischgericht erwarten. Für die Nachspeise gabs dann frisches Werkzeug. Wir werdens nochmal mit der normalen Karte versuchen.

Öfter mal was Neues - nur wer neue Geschmäcker ausprobiert, dem erschließt sich Tolles! Danke an das ganze Team für den tollen kulinarischen Abend! Es hat sooo Spaß gemacht die Vorspeisen rauf & runter zu bestellen, mein Highlight war der Olivensalat und das Zuchinitürmchen. Die Hauptgänge - ganz Vorne mit dabei die Kalbsbäkchen - waren ausgezeichnet! Bitte macht weiter so und verwendet weiterhin so Top-Lebensmittel um damit zu zaubern. Ps.: An der Weinauswahl könnte man noch arbeiten. Die Nachspeisen waren uns zu süß & zu üppig. Eure Gastfreundschaft war toll! Bis bald !

Das Restaurant Gänsebauer in Regensburg hat mich wirklich überzeugt. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und meiner Meinung nach modern – perfekt für einen entspannten Abend. Besonders gut gefallen haben mir die Zucchini-Puffer: Sie waren richtig lecker, schön knusprig und geschmacklich top. Auch die Hauptgerichte waren einfach geschmackvoll – sehr gut gewürzt, frisch zubereitet und in großzügigen Portionen. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Insgesamt ein tolles Restaurant, das ich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen kann.

Der Vorspeisenmix mit Pasten war wie man es erwartet und kennt. Gute Qualität, g'schmackig, wie man sagen würde. Hauptgericht Lamm war perfekt medium gebraten. Interessant mit den Pistazien und Granatapfelkernen. Ich war überrascht über die Größe der Portion. Nachtisch Baklava und Grieß waren auch gut. Der Grießnachtisch gewöhnungsbedürftig aber gut. Service ist etwas unbeholfen und steht der Qualität des Essens etwas nach.

Ein toller Platz mit einem wirklich kulinarischen Angebot. Bestens zu empfehlen für alle die Mediterrane Küche lieben. Mit Herz und Seele vorbereitete Anatolische Tapas.

Ganz tolles Restaurant mit kulinarisch versierter Beratung und leckeren Speisen. Okzident küsst Orient. Hier wird der gastronomische Berufsethos mit Liebe gelebt! Wir sind glücklich und mit einem Lächeln aus dem Abend gegangen.

Last evening in Regensburg, delicious Turkish dinner, good wine, small, intimate corner of the city, a refined and unique ethnic restaurant, medium-high prices but we knew that, I recommend it!

The food was delicious. Everything was visually appealing. However, we didn't think the value for money was quite right. Considering that mostly simple ingredients are used and the preparation isn't particularly elaborate, the prices seem quite high in comparison.

Everything was great except for the toilets

The service was attentive, and the food arrived surprisingly quickly—the flavor was truly impressive. I was particularly impressed by the Black Tiger Prawns, an appetizer plate with warm hummus and walnut cream—my personal highlight of the evening. The only surprise was that it was so quiet on a Wednesday evening before the holiday. I'm all the more looking forward to my next visit in the summer, when I can hopefully sit outside. An all-around successful experience with plenty of potential for repeat dining.

Anatolian tapas at their best, absolutely recommended :) The Gänsbauer has long been one of our absolute favorite restaurants when it comes to enjoyment, warmth and atmosphere. We are regular guests there and are thrilled every time. The Anatolian tapas are a true taste experience: creative, freshly prepared and prepared with great attention to detail. Of course there is also enough choice for vegetarians. We particularly like the olive and feta cheese salad, stuffed zucchini and the basil-herb paste and walnut paste. But you really can't go wrong as everything is delicious. The main courses are also recommended. We really like the rack of lamb, chicken or fish. My absolute favorite among the desserts is the baklava cheesecake, you have to try it. Very very tasty! Regarding the service: very friendly, attentive and warm without being intrusive. You feel completely welcome and well looked after. The ambience is also convincing with its cozy furnishings. Ideal for a relaxed evening with friends, a romantic dinner or to celebrate a special occasion such as a birthday. There is also a good selection of excellent drinks, whether wine, aperitifs or cocktails. There is definitely something for everyone. I recommend the Mango-Passion Fruit Spritz (fruity, slightly sweet and refreshing). Conclusion: The Gänsbauer offers the perfect all-round package for a very nice restaurant visit in Regensburg - with delicious food, very good service, excellent drinks and a cozy atmosphere.

An outstanding experience! The dishes were creative and full of flavor. I can't get enough of it!

Nice evening, but that certain something was missing. The atmosphere is super nice and the service is super nice. The food was delicious, but always 1-2€ too expensive for what you get. Unfortunately, there are very few Anatolian tapas, and apart from the kofta there is nothing that you can't get as a starter at a Greek restaurant... The Adana Kebap was tasty, but at first it was very little for the price. The only criticism of the atmosphere: colorful LED lights, seem a bit cheap and don't fit in with the upscale look of the restaurant. All in all, we found it nice and tasty, but it lacks the unique selling point why you should come back.

We were at Gänsbauer's again in the evening - highly recommended! The restaurant is a little hidden on Keplerstrasse in Regensburg. Ambiance The atmosphere in the Gänsbauer restaurant is very nice. The guest room is traditionally furnished with a cross vault, but at the same time modern and cozy. In my opinion, the rustic wooden furnishings in the entrance area are not necessary, but they were retained from the previous building and are not disturbing. Another plus is the pleasant background noise, which makes it possible to dine and chat in a relaxed atmosphere. The mix of traditional and modern furnishings makes the restaurant a perfect place for a relaxed dinner with friends or family. service As soon as you enter the inn you are greeted in a very friendly manner. The staff is warm, courteous and manages to maintain a pleasant yet professional atmosphere. The service staff was very attentive without being intrusive. You can tell that there are well-trained staff working here who respond to guests' needs, are very attentive and make everyone feel welcome. Special requests were also easily accommodated, which made the visit even more pleasant. What should be emphasized is that the chef comes to the table after the meal and asks in a very friendly manner whether everything went well! Elsewhere you often experience that the rhetorical question from the service staff is only answered with “I’ll pass it on.” Food and drinks The food in the Gänsbauer restaurant is a real highlight! The menu offers an excellent selection of both traditional Anatolian tapas and whole dishes, all in a quite interpretation. I had Kuzu Bonfilet (lamb fillet), which was very tender and grilled to perfection. There are also numerous delicious options for vegetarians, which show that there is a lot of attention to detail and taste in the preparation, even without meat. The portion sizes are OK. With tapas you order several dishes anyway. There are three desserts that are very tasty but also very rich. Here you could reduce the portion sizes a little. As for drinks, the restaurant offers a normal selection, although this is not the main focus. Conclusion The Gänsbauer restaurant is a highlight in Regensburg for me. The service is warm and professional, the food is of very good quality and the atmosphere is extremely welcoming and cozy. I can fully recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back!

Had an amazing dinner at Gansbauer last Saturday night! We are foodies and we loved sharing a variety of their tapas dishes - we even had second orders of the tiger shrimp and meatballs - every dish was unique and absolutely delish - cheers to the chef and staff - excellent experience all around.

Because of the great food, the incredibly fast service and the beautiful and cozy interior design, after our first visit we decided to celebrate there with friends on the evening of our wedding, as both the food and drinks invite us to sit for a longer period of time. The boss was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The planning was uncomplicated and the evening went just perfectly! The team took great care of our group of 13 people and we are really grateful to have had such a lovely evening there, we would 100% do it again.

Unfortunately not as good as before. There is Turkish food. The great concept with the tapas has disappeared. The service was unfriendly. Unfortunately it's no longer a place to feel comfortable for us. It would have been better to change the name at the same time.

“One disappointment – ​​never again!” Our visit to Gänsbauer was a disaster from start to finish. The service was completely overwhelmed: it took 25 minutes before we could even place our first order. After another 20 minutes we were informed that hummus and Adana Kebap – two central dishes on the menu – were not available at all. This information could have been given to us when we ordered instead of making us wait so long. After a total of 1.5 hours in which we only had a drink and an appetizer, we left disappointed. The service presented the serious issues as a “minor thing,” which made the entire experience even more frustrating. It wasn't professional in any way. For us it is clear: once and never again. Absolutely not recommended!

Everything was great, food, service... always happy

An excellent restaurant for Anatolian cuisine. The eggplants in tomato sauce were excellently prepared and perfectly seasoned. The marinated chicken was juicy and tasted exactly right. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant. We'd love to come back :)

Unfortunately not particularly good. Adana kebab was bad, very dry, with ready-made dry supermarket flatbread. Ordered steak medium, got maximum English. The same piece of meat was cooked again after everyone else had finished. Other dishes were ok. But absolutely not worth the price. Service was very good.

Ambience very inviting. The service was quick and very friendly. We had tapas for dinner and we were really impressed... especially the prawns were amazing. If we are in Regensburg again, we will definitely come back! 5 stars really deserved.

Fantastic brunch experience at Gänsbauer! The brunch at Gänsbauer exceeded all my expectations! I would particularly like to highlight the Ayvalık Toast – crispy, perfectly seasoned and simply delicious. Another highlight was the menemen with sucuk: the combination of the spicy eggs and the hearty sucuk simply tasted great. Of course, the crowning finale was the Künefe. Served with fresh figs and pistachios, it was the perfect balance of sweet and creamy, just heavenly! I can really recommend brunch here to anyone looking for a special culinary experience. The evening menu was very, very tasty, from the tapas to the dessert, the taste was a 10 out of 10. Very polite service and the bartender makes very, very tasty cocktails and homemade lemonades 👍 I recommend everyone to try it out, you won't regret it. We'd love to come back

It, the food, was simply heavenly

The Gänsbauer is worth eating! The two of us were there on a Sunday evening and were surprised by the delicious food. The portion sizes of the individual dishes are quite manageable, but you can also try out different things. All the things impressed us in terms of taste. In terms of price, the restaurant is a little more upscale, but worth every euro. Keep it up!

Sadly we didn't get to enjoy dinner here. We arrived on time for our reservation and checked in at the bar because this was the first employee we met. We asked if he spoke English and he replied that he did. He asked that we wait for his partner to seat the two of us. Meanwhile a party of four arrived while we waited. The hostess arrived and the bartender mentioned to her that we speak english. She rolled her eyes without even trying to hide it and both parties were seated at the same time in a charming room inside. We waited while the party of four got drinks. We waited while the other party ordered their food. We also waited while the bartender came back and served them their wine. Keep in mind we are the only two parties that we've seen inside the restaurant. At this point we got up and left because it was becoming obvious that they were not interested in serving us. It's sad because this is a charming restaurant and the menu looked interesting.

We were here because of an MZ article. Service is extremely friendly and very attentive. Food also very good. However, the portions are very small. I would recommend 3 tapas per person. The “Turkish Obatzda” tasted very good, but was an absolute mini portion. The bread on the side is from the bakery, not homemade, which is what I would have expected given the price.

Yesterday I was out with a group of girls and we wanted to take a look at the "new Gänsbauer" in advance. I have to say that Gänsbauer used to be known to me as a “chic” restaurant. Now for me it is a great restaurant with freshly prepared Turkish specialties with beautiful furnishings that really fit in, as well as a great bar or the “outdoor seating” in the inner courtyard. When we arrived we were greeted very friendly and shown to the table. The service lady was very friendly, quick and tried very hard. We ordered different dishes, from the starter to the main course to the dessert, delicious wine and also Turkish tea, so we were able to try something from each. Everything was very tasty, there were 6 of us and of course we agreed that it wouldn't be the first and last visit. I think the price is really reasonable and not expensive! Keep it up.

Contrary to what the name of the restaurant suggests, there is a decent selection of Anatolian tapas. Good selection of meat and vegetable dishes, little fish, dessert was sold out, instead there was a schnapps on the house. Tasteful, minimalist furnishings, nice service: a recommendable alternative to Bavarian cuisine.

Just wow. This evening we went to Gänsbauer to try out Anatolian tapas. We had reserved for 6 people and were greeted very friendly and shown to the table. We had the menu right through because everyone wanted to try it out and it was just a pleasure. We also shared a bottle of wine. The selection was very good. And then for dessert the baklava cheesecake was simply divine. We will come back in any case!

Now I know why the people of Regensburg have such bad restaurants. Because they don't even notice when you put Bofrost goods in front of them 😂. With the change of tenant, Turkish tapas are now available. Everything tastes sour and full of preservatives. It goes without saying that they don't even have a wine list anymore. We were offered a Merlot, another wine and a sweet wine. The fact that the Turk still calls himself the goose farmer is pure romance 😂. Really ?!

Experience old things in a new way! I was very curious to see how “Anatolian tapas” fit into a traditional restaurant and I was thrilled. The kitchen is convincing in all respects and the rustic look has been pleasantly refreshed. The overall concept of classic but spiced up oriental dishes with homemade lemonades, refreshing cocktails or good wines leaves nothing to be desired. All in all, every plate is a surprise in itself and you will enjoy it every time. Even those who don't know Anatolian cuisine will get their money's worth. I will gladly come again!

We reserved the new Gänsbauer with the Anatolian tapas concept for a birthday and what can I say? Just wow. The ambience, the mood in the beautiful rooms, as well as the contact with the service staff, simply a dream. Not to mention the food. You would love to try everything on the menu and because they are tapas, you can try several variations and these are continually served one after the other. Absolutely awesome. We all had fun. Thank you for a great evening with friendly service. Huge praise for the innovative cuisine - it was a culinary highlight.

Outstandingly good. Can't say it any other way: the food was perfect. The desserts are a whole other world in creativity and taste. I've rarely been so completely satisfied with the service, food and furnishings, simply a 10/10. Anatolian tapas: Count me in, come at least once a month now. I can recommend it to anyone who wants to go out to eat and wants to do everything right. Simply speechless.

Super schönes Lokal, zum sich wohlfühlen und vorzüglich speisen

Essenskultur vom Feinsten. Hier stimmte alles, von der Auswahl der Speisen über das wirklich tolle Personal bis hin zum gemütlichen aber nicht überladenen Ambiente. Wir kommen wieder!!

Tolles Ambiente, leider für meinen Geschmack etwas kühl im Gästeraum gewesen. Netter Empfang. Essen aus dem Menü lt. meiner Begleitung gelungen, doch trotz vorheriger Absprache mit dem Eigentümer leider dann vor Ort peinliches ewiges hin und her wegen wichtiger Wünsche aufgrund einer Unverträglichkeit. Habe mich dann nicht mehr willkommen gefühlt, sondern eher wie ein Aufwand. Keine Mühe um einen Gruß aus der Küche auch für mich möglich zu machen. Nach dem ersten Gang wurde ich am Tisch mehr oder weniger ignoriert. Einen zweiten Gang habe ich dann nicht mehr aktiv angefordert, da es mir unangenehm war. Bin leider hungrig nach Hause. Hier geht meines Erachtens nach mehr und ein besseres eingehen auf Wünsche wäre in der Klasse in der mal spielt angebracht. Bei Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist für meinen Geschmack durchaus noch Luft nach oben. Wir werden es trotzdem bei Gelegenheit nochmal testen.
