What’s the benefit of having a big family? Apparently, it means you’ll always get good reviews. Otherwise I could not understand the good reviews.
The first impression you get when entering this restaurant is that something’s missing. It seems like they ran out of money before they could afford any proper decoration. The room feels empty and unfinished.
Next, you’re greeted by a rather unmotivated waitress who, in my opinion, reminded me the service at the bakery on a train station. Not friendly, no smile, and absolutely no interest in the guests.
To be fair, the shorter waitress was friendlier — a small but noticeable difference.
But the surprises don’t stop there. As soon as you open the menu, you’d think you’re dining at a high-end Italian place on Brennerstraße. The prices are steep — dishes start at €16, with pasta over €20.
It gives off the impression that the owner wants to turn €1 of ingredients into €22 profit.
It’s a shame, really, because you actually look forward to the food — but then comes the next surprise: the food itself.
When ordering fish, no one even offers to prepare it properly.
The pizza bread was crispy and tasty — we had the one with tomatoes. But the Spaghetti Marinara were a disappointment: overcooked noodles and ingredients that tasted like they came straight out of a Metro pre-packed bag.
The Penne with four cheeses tasted more like Penne with one cheese and a lot of milk.

A culinary delight. Wonderful food, excellently prepared and attractively presented, you get a real treat for the palate here. The restaurant with its cozy atmosphere leaves nothing to be desired in terms of service and hospitality. Definitely a recommendation and we would like to come back soon.
All praise to Mr. Nada, her team, her organization.
We organized a celebration for 85 people, of which we had a couple of guests who were vegetarians, we were treated more than we expected.
The food is delicious.
The price is more than fair.
All food is freshly made. We have only words of thanks.
In the evening the hall is completely full, there is also an open area. So it is better to book a table in advance. Everything is simply incredibly delicious!
ATTENTION LOCAL PERMANENTLY CLOSED!!!
01/2023: Menu has been expanded. I'm thrilled. For example, pasta with salmon and zucchini is very tasty.

11/2022: The food (starter, main course, dessert) was very tasty and the temperature was perfect. The food was also very nicely prepared. The menu has been visually redesigned and looks much more appealing. Above all, this now stands out clearly from the previous owner. The recommendation card is also great, but the allergens are missing here. A little tip: Instead of baguettes, serve with the delicious pizza wedges (rolls).
The toilets should be dusted a little better and the women's hygiene bags in the existing holder would be desirable.
Unfortunately there's almost nothing going on for a Saturday evening. Maybe do a little advertising in the district and the neighboring districts? Many people don't know that Ricks has a new owner and a new kitchen. Maybe it would be good to delete the “old” reviews here?

October 22nd, 2022 Today our food was unfortunately only lukewarm, only the pizza rolls were hot. And the Vitello tonnato had tuna sauce underneath and not much of it - but the taste was delicious. If you sit in front of an (almost) empty glass, we think it would be better if you were asked directly if you would like to drink something else. There should also be a few meat dishes on the menu! We also think it would be great if guests were offered dessert. There were extra recommendations outside of the normal menu, which we think is great.
ATTENTION: The homepage should urgently contain the note "Dear guests and friends, due to special circumstances, we are temporarily closed!" be removed!!!

October 18, 2022 Finally open again. Very friendly service. When the appetizer was cleared away, we were asked whether we could continue. It's a bit of a shame that there's only one meat dish on the menu. Otherwise good selection. Food delicious. Even extra garlic oil and spicy oil.

October 13th, 2022: On September 23rd, 2022 it was closed for two weeks. Unfortunately, this is still the case today. We were so excited about the reopening :-(

07/2022 for the former owners:
ALL THE BEST TO YOU, THANK YOU FOR THE COUNTLESS GREAT VISITS. WE WILL MISS YOU.
We come here often and are satisfied every time. The waitresses were super friendly and attentive. Food selection top. Food is always very tasty. Ambience very nice. Keep it up!
The pizza is good BUT...
Due to the extreme volume of orders (which we noticed 2 weeks before and it was not possible to call and we then ordered on site) we pre-ordered for my birthday party at 11 a.m. in the morning for 8 p.m. For a celebration with invited guests, everything should run smoothly and of course we understand that you have to book in advance for something like this so that you can avoid waiting times etc.
Unfortunately that didn't work at all. By 8pm the line was almost out and we had to wait almost 45 minutes. Our pizza was the very last one made. The pizza maker then took off his apron and said that he was going to finish work. When I asked, they gave me a bottle of wine, but I can't drink it anyway. I would have liked an accommodation in the form of a reduced price. The guests waited hungry, we were stressed, that's not the point of pre-orders and actual prioritization. It's a shame, I liked the pizza.
"I visited this pizzeria recently and was delighted with the variety of pasta and cakes they offer. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the cake was delicious and fresh. The service was excellent, the staff friendly, and the atmosphere pleasant. I especially liked their family pizza. I highly recommend this pizzeria to anyone who loves good food and a pleasant atmosphere!"
A definite recommendation for pizza day. €7 for a pizza is unbeatable. The Istanbul pizza with doner meat and pepperoni is a must on Wednesday nights. But don't arrive too late; they run out of pizza after around 9 p.m. The quality of the pizza isn't bad either.
The doner kebab is just okay; there are much better ones just around the corner.
Service is mostly unfriendly and disinterested. But it is what it is. Somehow, that's part of it.
The location is great, and you can sit outside comfortably. The interior is gigantic and also nice to sit in.
All in all: a definite recommendation for pizza day, but otherwise not so much.
