Here we have found something very extraordinary. A very kind landlady who embodies this with body and soul, a wonderful beer garden with a fantastic view, a homemade cake and if you want to be really comfortable in bad weather, you will also find a rustic ambience in the hut. Just shit all around.

SPITZE. Die Chefin ist ein Unikat. Im Naturfreundehaus ist es sehr gemütlich. Man kann tolle Feste drin feiern und auch das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Der Gasthof zum Bay ist bei unseren Besuchen im Bayerwald ein absolutes Muss. Das viergängige Sylvestermenu war (wie zu erwarten) köstlich. Die Preise für die durchaus überdurchschnittliche Küche sind mehr als angemessen. Die Besitzer sind sehr freund-lich (man kennt sich mittlerweile). Ein großes Plus ist, dass man sich beim Bay sowohl im Winter in der Stube, als auch im Sommer im idyllischen Innenhof wohlfühlen kann. Wir sind seit ca. vier Jahren regelmäßig im Bay und ein Lob für Küche, Bedienung und Ambiente ist angesagt.

Chambaue 1We arrived with 8 people at 1:15 p.m. The restaurant closes at 3:00 p.m. Nevertheless, we were warmly welcomed and tables were set up for us. Top service and friendliness! The sauerbraten had a perfect sauce, not too sour, the meat was buttery soft and could be cut up with a fork. The bread dumpling had a good consistency. The salad dressing was also great! All 8 loved their food. Can only be recommended!!!!!!

Kreuzkirchstraße 2We were only here for a visit. The food was or is good, the atmosphere was fine. The service is very nice. To say goodbye there was a choice of Ramazzotti or another schnapps.

Stadtpl. 8Simply great. We have been coming to VIP again and again since 2019. From schnitzel to game, everything was very good. The pepper sauce is a poem! Innovative - this is where we first got to know the kookie cocktail years ago. If you want to experience a nice evening in a beautiful ambience, this is the right place for you.
