Die besten Restaurants in Sankt Englmar

After a very modest visit to the Waldwipfelweg Christmas market, we were looking for a restaurant with our dog, so we called them at short notice and were immediately reserved a table and were told that our little four-legged friend was also very welcome. Rarely have I seen such a good restaurant, the lady who served us was extremely friendly and accommodating and also incredibly nice to our animal companion. Absolutely recommended and we would be happy to come back. The price of the food and drinks was more than okay and the pizza was excellent.

A very nice and cozy restaurant, just as you could wish for. Nicely rustic and a very nice staff. The prices were really reasonable and you got a lot on offer. The portion sizes were really good and the food was first class, the cheese spaetzle can only be recommended, the spaetzle is homemade and you can taste it too.

About hundreds of visitors a day came here over Christmas. The staff shortage is known everywhere in every area. Self-service is ok in the restaurant. But the problem is: the quality doesn't match the price!

This is our second time here and we don't understand some of the reviews! Like last time, the food was very good! Goulash is highly recommended with fresh napkin dumplings. Conditions always friendly. I would love to come back here just to eat after hiking. Thank you
