The staff seemed very demotivated at the self-service counter. At around 10 a.m. neither coffee nor pretzel was available. .........still takes a while......well.

Burning ashtrays, expired sauces, unreasonable staff... fries were OK... nuggets were sour... things used to be different...

Very good offer for a self-service restaurant, good value for money, clean toilets and a great view. We were happy and sitting.

Large restaurant with lots of seats and a beautiful view. Everything clean and well tidy. Food was too expensive and the quality didn't convince us.

The food was wonderful. Great view. What bothered me was the staff at the self-service counter. When she noticed that my family had poor knowledge of German, the lady made a dissatisfied face, as if I were the employee and you were the customer. The rest of the staff were all nice and polite people.

All you need. It is a "tourist castle" and not a Fred temple.

Food was OK, but not very good either. I found portions a bit small for the price. But it all happened pretty quickly and it was clean. When you sit on the terrace you have a beautiful view of the surrounding area.

The restaurant meets my expectations of a theme park restaurant. Typical meals such as currywurst with fries or schnitzel with fries are offered. The quality of the food was okay. The waiting time for food was moderate. I really liked the interior design of the restaurant.

Canteen charm, self-service with a relatively long queue, limited selection of only unhealthy fried foods. Convinience fries with convenience schnitzel or chicken nuggets... really horrendous prices in relation to what is on offer. We eat out a lot and like to spend money on it, but we haven't eaten in such a loveless tourist terminal for a long time. Every restaurant in this location would be a potential gold mine, but at least you can do it well. Here it becomes clear that the goal seems to be the greatest possible friction. The food alone would be worth a star. The second is for the friendly staff and the good-looking and probably homemade cake.

Quick fast food option with children. The restaurant in the WaldWipfelWeg park is a classic self-service fast food restaurant. The focus is on the classics currywurst and schnitzel in a child-friendly way. It is rather difficult for vegetarians. We had the currywurst (we didn't like it at all) and schnitzel with fries. That was ok. The cakes looked pretty good, but we didn't try them. The large dining room is outside. very attractively decorated.

For a restaurant in an excursion park, the food is quite good and varied. There is a lot of traffic there, but the long line takes a long time.

Spacious restaurant in a Bavarian ambience with huge panoramic windows facing the forest treetop path. The self-service restaurant offers a variety of typical Bavarian dishes that will make children's hearts beat faster - and with the indoor play area on the upper floor, parents can also enjoy their coffee and homemade cakes. The Christmas market around the Waldwipfelweg is particularly recommended in the run-up to Christmas, when you can also choose from a wide variety of mulled wine and punch variants on the sun terrace in front of the restaurant.

Unfortunately, I ate the most tasteless pizza here so far. The dough was greasy and I have to bake it again given back. But nothing helped anymore.

The restaurant is centrally located on the Waldwipflweg area and can therefore only be reached after paying the entrance fee (€12). The ambience corresponds to an upscale canteen. The service offered should therefore also be understood (self-service). The quality and quantity of the food is still ok. Subjectively speaking, some savings were made with the spices. Unfortunately there is no option to season at the table (no salt or pepper). The picture shows a drink (4 euros), a pretzel (1 euro) and the Waidlerschnitzel (13.50 euros) with either bread dumplings or fries. In my opinion the price is a bit too high for what is on offer. There are sufficient free parking spaces in front of the leisure area. Access is barrier-free.

The Waldgaststube is self-service. The delicious food can then be consumed in the beautiful beer garden.

The coolest thing is the large terrace with a view of the valley and the treetop path. The indoor playground on the upper floor is also really good.

The prices are typical for a tourist restaurant. The food is OK. We had simple noodles as well as fries, currywurst, baked potatoes and other things. The children's paradise was great for us. Little and older kids can let off steam here. Since it is part of the Waldwipfelweg, the bear dances here from midday onwards when the weather is nice. You may want to plan for waiting times.

Die sind richtig auf Zack da...schneller geht's kaum...Essen ist soweit in Ordnung, die Gaststube ist sehr schön gestaltet und die Terrasse sehr schön..es gibt viel Platz hier...das Personal ist sehr freundlich

Eigentlich ein schönes Selbstbedienungslokal direkt beim Baumwipfelweg, großer Spielplatz direkt daneben und perfekt zum Essen und rasten...... Das war's dann allerdings schon mit den positiven Dingen. Das Essen war eigentlich eine Frechheit, ich habe noch nie ein billigeres Formfleisch Schnitzel gesehen als hier. Da tröstet auch nicht die extrem kurze Wartezeit darüber hinweg. Currywurst war ebenso in der Art noch nicht erlebt ..... Und wenn unsere Tochter Hühnchennuggets übrig lässt ist das Erklärung genug. Fazit: Ausflugsziel super, Essen das nächste Mal selbst mitnehmen oder woanders hinfahren zum Essen!

Currywurst ist ne Bockwurst mit ner Pelle die weder zu schneiden noch zu kauen ist! Fertigsauce die so voller Konservierungsmittel ist das sie extrem sauer ist, paar Pommes dabei, Mayo aus der Presstüte für 8,50€ ist fast frech! Schlimmer 1 paar Wiener mit Brezel für 4,50€! Mini Winni sollten die heissen, Brezel Fertigteil, kleiner und schlechter als bei Aldi, Netto und Co, nur sehr sehr viel teuerer! Massenabfertigung wie in der Kantine, alles schnell schnell und der nächste (ohne bitte)! Alles in allem, nie wieder dort essen, gibts woanders besser und günstiger! Von der Currywurst hat man den ganzen Tag etwas, die kommt immer wieder hoch…..

Leckerer Kaffee, Essen ist in Ordnung. Leider ist eine Kartenzahlung erst ab 15€ möglich. Bedienungen sind sehr nett. Indoor Spielmöglichkeiten im oberen Stockwerk sind toll für kleine Kinder.

Wir waren mitten in den Osterferien in der Mittagszeit hier, dementsprechend voll war es auch 😉 Sehr zackige Essenausgabe (EC-Zahlung ab 15€ möglich) und sehr freundliches Personal. Ich habe es selten erlebt, das die Tische so schnell gereinigt wurden 👍🏻 Die Toiletten waren ebenfalls sauber! Germknödel, Apfelstrudel und Kuchen waren sehr lecker 😋 Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ausgewogen 👍🏻

Die Ofenkartoffel und die Rahmschwammerl waren hier echt lecker.

Essen war preislich Gut aber nicht besonderes. Aussicht auf der Terrasse sehr schön.

Grandioser Ausblick sowohl von der herrlichen Terrasse als auch von den wunderschön naturalistisch eingerichteten Innenraum.Große Auswahl an leckeren Gerichten und äußerst freundliches Personal,das dem Ganzen eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre gibt!

Sehr gutes Restaurant, lecker Essen. Preise sind ok. Leider einen Stern Abzug, da keine Kartenzahlung möglich. Dies sollte in solch einer Lokation möglich sei. Technische Möglichkeiten gibt es. Gerade in Corona Zeiten sollte dies selbstverständlich möglich sei.

Super Service, Essen ist sehr lecker, Preis Leistung top, Indoor Spielplatz, Tolle Aussicht. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Essen war gut, Preis-Leistung auch in Ordnung. Aber: Keine EC-Karten-Zahlung möglich. Das ist (gerade bei einer solchen Attraktion) nicht zeitgemäß und dafür gibt's drei Sterne Abzug.

Ein sehr gepflegtes und ordentliches Lokal, vorallem die Speisen waren sehr lecker und nur zu empfehlen. Auch die Kinderstube im oberen Bereich war ein Paradies für die kleinen, dort ist ein riesen Klettergerüst aufgebaut wo dir spielen können. Es ist an alles gedacht. Bis zum nächsten Mal

Gute Auswahl zu guten Preisen. Es ist viel Platz vorhanden und modern eingerichtet. Corona wird gut umgesetzt.

Die Gaststube ist schön eingerichtet und auch die Terrasse ist einladend. Leider war das Essen ungenießbar. Wir waren zeitig dran, in der Küche war noch kaum was los, also kann es nicht am Stress gelegen haben. Wir hatten ein Waldwipfelschnitzel und eine Currywurst, jeweils mit Pommes. Das Schnitzel war flachsig, die Pilzrahmsauce hatte einen merkwürdigen Beigeschmack, die Currywurst war nur lauwarm und die Pommes wurden offensichtlich in altem Fett frittiert, schmeckten daher total ranzig. Außerdem war weder im Cola noch im Spezi Kohlensäure. Sollten wir noch mal den Waldwipfelweg besuchen bringen wir definitiv unser eigenes Essen mit.

Aussicht ist super. Eintrichtung auch toll aber ich finde die Preise überteuert. Ich finde für eine Tiefkühlpizza sind knapp 8 Euro zuviel.
