Great restaurant! The owners are totally friendly and accommodating! The food was simply in a class of its own! The pizza in particular was one of the best I've ever eaten! TOP! I'm already looking forward to next time!

So we can't understand some of the bad reviews regarding the food. We've been coming here for years and whether it's starters, pizzas or pasta dishes, everything tastes delicious and is freshly prepared by the chef. My personal highlight are the homemade gnocchi. However, we have already observed that guests are being sent away even though there are still enough free spaces. Luckily, this hasn't happened to us yet. Maybe it's because the operators do everything themselves - he cooks and she is in service - and are simply not able to serve more guests than the obligatory 3 to 4 tables. At least that is our assumption.

Super delicious, we were guests twice as a family during our October vacation and were warmly welcomed and served with typical Italian humor. The food was simply great, I can highly recommend the bruscetta and the lasagne. We'll definitely come back again. 👍😉

By far the worst meal we have ever had. We've only been here for a few days and wanted to do something good for ourselves on the last evening. Probably shouldn't be. The service was very unfriendly and the food was inedible. Not even the salad was good. Not to mention the noodles. Never again!!!

Really Italian. Many people were clearly acquaintances of the owners who often came. When we entered we were kindly received. In previous reviews I read that if there is no more room, this is a bit blunt. We also saw this when people came in while they were very busy. But I think this is mainly due to the fact that they run this restaurant with few people and therefore work very hard for everyone. Which sometimes causes some stress and makes her a bit short. In any case, we thought it was a good experience, our little man also loved his pizza.

Sunday evening, 7:00 p.m., no restaurant is open far and wide, we with a 2 year old child want dinner and are rudely turned away because everything is full of pre-orders. That has never happened to me in a restaurant, even in an Italian one, where children are normally considered above all else, is turned away. We were then allowed to drive 30 minutes to the next restaurant that was still open. NO GO!!

We wanted to make a reservation. We were brushed off very unfriendly on the phone with “I have no space, everything is full”. It was simply hung up. A few days later things weren't going any better. He also wasn't willing to push 2 tables together because there were 7 of us. Unfortunately I can't comment on the food because we didn't get the opportunity to eat there. Again very rude on the phone and abruptly hung up.

Unfriendly. Even if you are stressed and obviously overwhelmed, you shouldn't take it out on potential guests. I definitely don't belong there anymore.

We spent a few days in the Bavarian Forest and ended up here because our daughter wanted pizza. The parking spaces directly in front of the house are practical. Pizza was good and relatively cheap. Staff friendly and fond of children.

The landlord is very unfriendly and the food is just average.

The food was OK, but not special either. Unfortunately the service was stressed (restaurant was empty) and unfriendly! We felt rather annoying as guests. We won't be coming back!

Hello, we wanted to eat there on March 23rd and were turned away very rudely. I still understood because we didn't make a reservation. We called on Wednesday March 27th and was told it would only be picked up. When I placed my order, they interrupted me with the statement that and yes, 8 pizzas, that's too much, you have to order that in advance, again very unfriendly. In addition, they hung up immediately after this statement. So unfortunately we didn't have a good experience twice within a few days.🤷‍♂️

There were 9 of us eating here. The food was very tasty and everyone enjoyed it. The restaurant is older, small and old-fashioned. In terms of taste, I would definitely come back! Only cash payment possible!

The worst experience I ever had... We were a group of 2 adults and 7 kids and when the old waitress realised that she had to serve us she started to curse in italian, but unfortunately for her we do speak that language too... so we just left and promised we we'll never get back there.

I can't share all the bad reviews. The restaurant and the toilets were very clean. The portions were large and really tasty. The waitress was very attentive and everything came very quickly. The operators are Italian and there is a slight language barrier, which was probably very negative for some reviewers. But I/we can't share this!

It was originally a rustic inn that has now been converted into a highly modern style. Cozy restaurant and friendly staff. We were only there for food, which tasted excellent. However, only two vegetarian dishes. Short waiting time and the meat eaters were also very satisfied.

Die besten Spaghetti al Ragu seit langer Zeit.

Wir waren zur normalen Öffnungszeit dort. Gingen hinein, alle Tische bis auf einen freien Zweiertisch reserviert, 2 Pers. haben schon an einem anderen Zweiertisch gegessen, ein großer Tisch vor der Theke war auch besetzt. Wir wurden nicht beachtet, haben uns dann bemerkbar gemacht und nach einem Tisch gefragt. Uns wurde unfreundlich mitgeteilt, dass sie (Chefin) krank wäre und ihr Mann allein in der Küche. Das kam uns alles suspekt vor, da am großen Tisch die fröhliche Runde saß und so haben wir den Rückzug angetreten. Wir können die sehr guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen und finden es sehr schade, wie hier mit zahlenden Kunden umgegangen wird, da wir ein anderes Auftreten von italienischen Restaurants gewohnt sind. Jedenfalls von uns nicht zu empfehlen.

Sehr leckeres Essen, alle miesen Bewertungen lügen. Ich bin Politiker, ich habe Ahnung von Lügen. Alle, die die Namen der Gerichte nicht einmal richtig schreiben können, sollten ihre Finger von der Tastatur lassen.

Sehr liebe Wirte, ganz tolles Essen und super Preis-Leistung. Waren schnell zum Mittagessen, kurz vor Schluss und sind ganz toll bedient worden. Gerne wieder.

Mega leckeres Essen 😋 Beste Pizza 🍕 und gute Bedingung mit denen kann man gut reden

Wir waren als Familie an einem Donnerstag Abend hier essen. Das Ambiente ist nicht mehr das modernste, aber das Essen wiegt das tausend mal auf! Wir hatten Pizza und dreimal Pasta (Lachs, Garnelen und Gorgonzola) und es war vorzüglich. Kurze Wartezeit. Ein perfekter Abschluss unseres Urlaubes.

Echt italienisches Ambiente, unkomplizierte kurzfristige Tischbestellung- sehr leckeres Essen!

Perfekte italienische Küche! Wir waren über Ostern hier und sind zufällig zum Essen gekommen. Wir waren 6 erwachsene und 3 Kinder, wir hatten alle ziemlich zeitgleich das Essen. Die beiden waren super freundlich und wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Wir sind am nächsten Tag gleich nochmal gekommen. Falls wir mal wieder in der Nähe sind werden wir definitiv wieder kommen!

Wir waren dieser Tage im Ristorante Sant`Angelo. Das Restaurant ist liebevoll eingerichtet und wird von einem wirklich sehr netten italienischen älteren Paar bewirtet. Wir hatten 2x Pizza, 1x Tagliatelli (aus der Edelstahlpfanne) mit Schinken, Erbsen- Pilz- Sahnesoße und einen Beilagensalat. Alles war wirklich super lecker, typisch italienisch und echt rasant und frisch zubereitet. für die drei Gerichte incl. 1x Spezi und 1x Radler (+ 2x Leitungswasser, weiß allerdings nicht mehr ob das auf der Rechnung stand) haben wir 35€ bezahlt. Absolut fairer Preis für tolles Essen in tollem Ambiente. Ganz zu schweigen, dass die Wirtin wirklich sehr nett war! Klare Empfehlung.

Hatte schon seit Monaten keine Pizza mehr. Aber diese schmeckte mir nicht.

Gute grundsolide Pizza. Besser als schnöde Imbiss Pizza. Geschmacklich war sie sehr gut. Nichts dran auszusetzen. Natürlich kein Vergleich zu einer Original italienischen Pizza. Also wer nach einem Wandertag etwas gutes und einfach essen möchte, kann man es empfehlen. Wer etwas authentisches Italienisches erwartet, dem empfehle ich eher ein anderes Restaurant.

Wir können das Ristorante Sant'Angelo bestens empfehlen. So überzeugend leckere Pizzen haben wir seit langer Zeit nicht mehr gegessen. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt. Jederzeit gerne wieder!!!

Leckere Pizza man kann drinen und draußen sitzen

Unsere telefonischen Versuche zu bestellen scheiterten, so sind wir hingefahren. Die Bestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen, und war auch gleich zubereitet. Die Pizza, die Pasta und der Salat haben sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis war sehr überzeugend - klare Empfehlung

Wussten leider nicht, dass man bis 18:30 Uhr nur abholen kann. Kamen um 18:10 Uhr mit zwei hungrigen Kleinkindern und wurden weggeschickt. Kommen hier hin ganz sicher nicht mehr her..

Sehr leckeres Essen, nicht die "klassischen" einfachen Pizzen / Pasta, dafür nen Tick teurer aber absolut gerechtfertigt. Sehr netter professioneller Service.
