Cattaro Ristorante Pizzeria Café in Sankt Englmar

A cute little place with delicious pizzas. The service was very nice and attentive. The plates were much too small for the pizzas and the salad was nice and fresh and well prepared. Definitely worth a visit.

We found this little restaurant by chance. Called quickly and asked if there was still a table for 3 and was lucky. The pizza was huge and tasted excellent. I would say the best we have eaten in years. The lady was super nice and polite. We would come here again at any time and recommend eating here to anyone who wants to enjoy a fantastic pizza (pasta is probably no problem) Thank you

Very tasty pizzas which are of exceptional quality. Had a Buffalo pizza. The pizza is served with a whole buffalo mozzarella that you slice fresh on top of the hot pizza. My wife had a Pizza Diavolo. This was also very tasty and also made with fresh and high-quality ingredients. As other guests have mentioned several times, the menu is not huge. But that also speaks for the restaurant. Freshness is the priority here. Pizzas are huge (40cm diameter). Owners are very friendly and attentive. The desserts are also highly recommended. Had a chocolate soufflé, a dream. :-) In summary, we have to say that this wasn't our last visit to this lovely restaurant.

Had the Vegetariano pizza, it was generously topped and generally large. Apple spritzer was delicious and the staff was extremely friendly :) The atmosphere was quiet I can recommend it!!

Small, cozy ristorante. It's worth making a reservation! Few but very tasty pizzas to choose from, which are huge. Unfortunately, for all pasta fans, there are no dishes on the menu.

We come from the Ruhr area and have endless pizzerias. But we have rarely eaten such delicious pizza as we did here. ♥️

Supplement 2024 March. We sit at Woederholten male and are still extremely impressed. As always, warm treatment and super accommodating with our little daughter!!! :) were guests at the opening today and what can you say other than it was great!! I hope you maintain your joy and warmth in the long term❤️ The food was fantastically delicious and we were extremely well looked after despite the full house 💐 We're looking forward to the next time, which won't be long in coming👍

Everything is just right here. Nice little cozy restaurant. The pizza was large and super tasty. The side salad deserved a little more seasoning for our taste. The service was very friendly and attentive. We dropped a knife and quickly had fresh cutlery without asking. We can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

A win for Sankt Englmar! Excellent (huge - enough for two, depending on how hungry you are) pizzas, extremely friendly service, comfortable to sit down. Reservations required on weekends.

The service was very good and nice, the menu was manageable, unfortunately only pizza. The prices for the pizzas were a bit too expensive. They probably know that and tried to compensate for it with senseless size. Both men and women were overwhelmed by the size. What's the point Pizza that sticks out a third over the edge of the plate??completely unnecessary. If you say the eye eats with you, the eye is already full from the start. The taste, the quality was good. 2-3 euros less and would be normal size my suggestion as also a restaurateur.

We were there out of season, a cozy pizzeria with modern Bavarian charm. We were served in a very friendly and courteous manner, not knowing that we were looking forward to our pizzas. And then you arrived and I tell you Wow what a device, Holy Moly! A huge piece of pizza and incredibly tasty. The only downside to this pizza was that I almost had to skip dessert. But as greedy as I am, I still ordered my dessert. Was that necessary? Nope! Did I do it anyway? Yep! Do I regret it? Nope! An all-round successful evening. I would come again.

Never again!! A choleric boss who is hostile to children! Avoid this place if you have children!!!! I've never experienced anything like that before. We had already paid and were about to jump when my one-year-old (!!) son hit an almost empty glass with his toy car and spilled it over. The owner freaked out and yelled in front of ALL the guests (!!) that we should take better care of our children...this had never happened to his three children. He kept shouting himself into a rage. All the guests just shook their heads. You could see the embarrassment towards her boss (or hopefully not her husband) in every facial expression of the waitress. Very very unprofessional. About the food: Too much cheese on the pizza, the salad wasn't dressed well and the chicken nuggets we bought as a children's meal for over €10 were very questionable. P.S. The glass is intact 😂 PPS. The other guests were all there with children and didn't feel disturbed.

Beautiful restored loation. Service super nice; However, be sure to reserve! We serve together with a pizza and a salad. Both very tasteful and beautifully presented. Would love to come back.

Fast and very friendly service with good food.

The best pizza I've eaten in years (and I've eaten a lot :)) was served here. The base is wafer-thin and the pizza is huge, so either plan on being hungry or order the pizza box to take away. The dining room is manageable and you should make a reservation so that you can safely enjoy this brilliant pizza.

Pizza was very good, we couldn't try pasta because it wasn't on the menu at the beginning of February 2024. The ambience is the same as in the previous restaurant. For Sankt Englmar a good opportunity to eat or order pizza on site. Service very friendly and accommodating.

It was an interesting combination, if I may say so. A mixture of a traditional Bavarian country house and a real Italian pizzeria. We came to Bavaria to eat a real Italian pizza.😉 🇭🇺🇩🇪🇮🇹

Die Pizza ist sehr lecker aber extrem gross (kaum von einer Person zu schaffen). Ein kleines, nettes Lokal in dem man freundlich bedient wird.

Das Essen schmeckt wirklich sehr lecker, der Service ist fantastisch und die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm. Allerdings verstehe ich nicht warum die Portionen so überdimensioniert sein müssen. Die Pizza kann kein Mensch schaffen wodurch Lebensmittel verschwendet werden. Und die Qualität ist sehr gut, man muss also nicht mit Masse punkten.

Super lecker. Riesige Pizza. Nudeln Gamberi ein Traum. Sehr kinderfreundlich. Unbedingt wieder.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend hier ! Die Pizza ist sehr groß, der Rand schön knusprig und gut belegt. Der Service war erste Klasse und das Ambiente sehr gemütlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder vorbei 👍😊

Wegen Regen nach dem Xperium hier rein gegangen und nicht enttäuscht worden. Super Pizza, Freundliche Bedienung und das Ambiente stimmt auch. Super macht weiter so.

Super große Pizzen, die unheimlich lecker sind, der Salat mit Büffelmorzarella ebenfalls ein Gedicht. Die Bedienung war super nett und aufmerksam. Der Gastraum war ein bisschen frisch, aber trotzdem gemütlich.

Wir waren heute wieder in diesem tollen Restaurant. Hier stimmen Preis und Leistung noch! Echt große Pizzas. Und wirklich sehr sehr lecker. Viel hochwertiger Belag und knuspriger Boden. Einfach perfekt. Personal mega freundlich und zuvorkommend. Erkundigen sich mehrmals, ob man mit allem zufrieden ist. Wartezeit kurz. Gibt auch tolle Nachspeisen. (wir haben heute das Schokosoufflee genossen - Wahnsinn wie lecker) Wirklich ein echter Geheimtipp dieses Restaurant. Die weiteste Anreise lohnt sich. Wir fahren die 70km gerne und kommen immer wieder gerne hier her. Vielen Dank das es noch so tolle Restaurants gibt!

Sehr leckere und große Pizza. Die Pizza schaut deutlich über den Tellerrand hinaus. Dazu mit dem Belag nicht gespart und noch super preiswert. Wir waren nach dem Besuch im Mitmachmuseum Xperium dort und haben auch noch nach 14 Uhr noch Mittagessen bekommen, was ansonsten sehr schwer im Ort war. Die Bedienung war super freundlich. Hier kommen wir wieder her, wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind.

Es gibt Vorspeisen, Pizza und Dessert allerdings keine Nudelgerichte. Die Pizza, ich hatte eine Pizza Salami, ist wirklich groß. Der Pizzaboden ist dünn mit einer idealen Menge Mozzarella und Salami belegt ohne das - was leider oft vorkommt - das Fett in der Pizza schwimmt. Mir hat sie hervorragend geschmeckt. Der Espresso nach dem Essen war der beste seit langen, nicht sauer und nicht bitter, einfach klasse.

Noch nie so eine riesige Pizza gesehen. Superlecker....sehr zu empfehlen wenn man in St. Englmar ist .

Wir waren heute beim Abendessen .Hatten gebratene Gambas und Oliven. Außerdem 2 Pizzas, alles hervorragend und lecker geschmeckt:)Und Preis/Leistung war top .Der Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen:)
