Really very good food. Never had a better kebab. The other dishes are also highly recommended. Everything is always fresh and plentiful, nice service. Go regularly.
Simple but tasty restaurant, with decent lunch menus.
Best price-performance ratio in the area, you can turn a blind eye to the somewhat slow service when there is a lot of traffic...
Absolutely overrated. I was there twice and had high expectations based on the strangely large number of positive reviews. The reviews mentioned Italian flair etc. If you sit on chairs picked up from the trash and like loud rap music, then it's less Italian. My first visit there was for a friend's birthday party. It was okay there, except for smeared glasses and a dirty toilet. You waited a long time for your drinks, but that was understandable given the small crowd and only 2 people in service. My second visit was during the day. The coffee was delicious, I then ordered a Pinsa and an Aperol. There was relatively little going on. First the glass was dirty, then my fork. And then I found a long blonde hair on my Pinsa (no wonder when everyone is allowed behind the counter and into the kitchen and waves their long hair around). I was really very disappointed, especially given the prices. You could rather go to a real Italian restaurant, definitely better in terms of price and quality. The owner is actually a nice guy, but he should take care of certain things. The many 5 star reviews are rather unbelievable to me. I live 10 minutes away from Bravi and have recently heard from other people in the area that they are avoiding the store and would rather go somewhere else. They definitely won't see me again.
Sometimes you enter a restaurant and immediately sense that someone is putting their heart and soul into what they're doing. Andrea runs her little paradise with a palpable passion that is reflected in every detail: from the loving furnishings, which create their own little world, to the carefully put together menu.
The food was simply fantastic! A small but fine selection of dishes that taste convincing and offer variety. You can tell that quality trumps quantity here. Every bite was a delight.
We were particularly impressed by the atmosphere. It felt less like a classic restaurant and more like a cozy dinner by the fire with good friends - relaxed, warm and just an all-round success.
If you are looking for a special culinary experience in a cozy environment, you should not miss this highlight in Munich! 👌
Super small sports bar with super good food, one of the best mousaka I've eaten, and top price ❣️🙏✌️ very inconspicuous from the outside, you have to go in, top staff, very nice people!
Another Ambitious Sushi kitchen near Isartor. This pre-Afghanischen restaurant turned sushi kitchen looks very rundown from outside (they didn’t renovate a bit). Inside it feels like a disco bar with very dimmed light but the sushi bar is surrounded by very bright white light, creating a strange and spooky atmosphere in the night. Nothing on the menu is special and certainly has nothing to do with Geisha. Presentation is again very fancy (bonsai with liquid hydrogen) but only for the eyes not for the mouths. Vietnamese food is slightly better but my stir-fry beef is quite chewy. The Vietnamese somehow love to open Sushi restaurant in Munich, but honestly, the rice, the vinegar, the fish, the dressing and the nori sheet, nothing taste right and not a big difference to the sushi box sold in the supermarket. Many Japanese friends told me, for real sushi you need to visit Düsseldorf, in Munich there is nothing.
Update: It didn’t survive eventually.
This Shoya is located right near the entrance of Kaufland, so there are always a lot of people passing by and due to the open concept, it is not so quiet. The place also has few seats, so it's a good option if you just want to grab a quick meal.
The ramen were standard: the tonkotsu broth was really rich and probably the best on the menu. The soya broth was meh, nothing outstanding. The toppings were fresh and the meat basically melted in the mouth.
