Ein besonderes Dankeschön geht an unseren Gastgeber, der mit seiner herzlichen, aufmerksamen Art einen wirklich tollen Job gemacht hat – aufmerksam, freundlich und mit dem richtigen Gespür für seine Gäste. Wir waren dort auf einer Tauffeier, und wirklich alle haben sich sehr bemüht, damit alles perfekt läuft. So einen Service erlebt man heutzutage nur noch selten – großes Lob dafür! Neu eröffnet unter dem Namen La Garda. Die gleichnamige Pizza war richtig gut und man bemüht sich zur Eröffnung um sehr guten Service. Wenn das so bleibt, ist alles super!

Bestes Restaurant in München ❤️

Man speist oft italienisch, aber selten so gut wie im La Garda. Das erst vor kurzem eröffnete Restaurant bietet für wenige Tage Pizza und Pasta zum Sonderpreis an - und es ist köstlich! Pasta ist präzise al dente, der Pizzaboden dünn und knusprig, vom Belag und den Soßen (carbonara: erstklassig!) ganz abgesehen. Vergessen darf man nicht die überaus freundliche (und kinderfreundliche) Bedienung und die angenehme Atmosphäre in diesem geschmackvoll eingerichteten Lokal.

Wir übernachteten in einem Hotel in der Nähe und haben aufgrund der Guten Bewertungen dieses Restaurant besucht. Ich kann die Guten Bewertungen absolut verstehen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Alle waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und der Chef erkundigt sich persönlich ob alles in Ordnung ist. Schade, dass wir so weit weg wohnen sonst würden wir dieses Restaurant regelmäßig besuchen.

Ich war vor kurzem in diesem neu eröffneten Restaurant und hatte mich eigentlich sehr darauf gefreut, dort essen zu gehen. Leider wurde ich auf ganzer Linie enttäuscht. Zunächst zum Essen: Die Gerichte wurden kalt serviert, was bei frisch zubereiteten Speisen absolut nicht akzeptabel ist. Gerade bei warmen Speisen wie Pasta oder Fleisch erwartet man, dass diese zumindest heiß oder wenigstens warm am Tisch ankommen. Das hat den ersten Eindruck direkt stark getrübt. Auch geschmacklich konnte das Essen überhaupt nicht überzeugen. Es wirkte lieblos zubereitet, kaum gewürzt und insgesamt einfach nicht appetitlich. Einige Komponenten haben sogar eher unangenehm geschmeckt, sodass ich mein Gericht nicht einmal aufessen konnte. Ein weiterer großer Kritikpunkt war die Wartezeit. Trotz relativ normaler Auslastung mussten wir sehr lange auf unser Essen warten, was den Besuch zusätzlich unangenehm gemacht hat. Gerade bei einem neuen Restaurant sollte man erwarten können, dass die Abläufe zumindest einigermaßen funktionieren. Was besonders irritierend war: Optisch sehen die Speisen wirklich hervorragend aus. Die Teller sind schön angerichtet, mit viel Liebe zum Detail dekoriert – auf den ersten Blick macht das Restaurant also einiges her. Leider entpuppt sich dieser Eindruck schnell als reine Fassade, denn geschmacklich hält das Essen in keiner Weise mit der Optik mit. Man fühlt sich fast ein wenig getäuscht. Die Räumlichkeiten sind zwar modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, was grundsätzlich sehr positiv ist, allerdings war es im Innenbereich unangenehm kühl. Dadurch konnte man sich nicht wirklich wohlfühlen und der Aufenthalt wirkte insgesamt eher ungemütlich. Ein weiterer großer Minuspunkt ist die Hygiene. Die Toiletten waren in einem sehr schlechten Zustand und haben stark gerochen. Das hinterlässt einen sehr negativen Gesamteindruck und wirft auch Fragen zur allgemeinen Sauberkeit im Restaurant auf. Gerade weil das Restaurant erst vor wenigen Tagen eröffnet hat, hätte ich deutlich mehr Sorgfalt und Qualität erwartet. Umso enttäuschender ist es, dass hier so viele grundlegende Dinge nicht stimmen. Fazit: Schöne Optik allein reicht nicht aus. Wenn weder Geschmack, Temperatur des Essens, Wartezeit, Raumklima noch Hygiene stimmen, ist ein Restaurantbesuch einfach nicht angenehm. Zusätzlich ist der verzehrte einfach zu teuer. Leider kann ich dieses Restaurant daher nicht weiterempfehlen.

Das Russn für 5,90 Euro fand ich teuer. Das Schnitzel gibt es nur mit Kartoffeln (dann ohne Gemüse, nur Kartoffeln in butter geschwenkt, das sah nicht lecker aus) oder nur mit Gemüse (ein wenig Kartoffeln sind dabei, das Gemüse war leider total überkocht). Perfekte Musikauswahl, höfliche und gut gelaunte Kellner, charmanter Besitzer – einfach herrlich! 😃 Das Essen ist preiswert und die Portionen sind beeindruckend. Der Geschmack der Gerichte verdient eine eigene Bewertung – das Fleisch war fantastisch und das Gemüse eine perfekte Beilage! Ein besonderes Lob gilt dem Dessert – Panna Cotta – einfach himmlisch! 🥰

I went there for lunch today and had the best pasta Bolognese of my life! It was very subtly seasoned and tasted amazing. The service was also nice, fast, and very friendly. All in all, a very pleasant experience. We'll definitely see you again soon.

A little piece of Italy in Munich. A wonderful, stylish interior and a lovely terrace with a lovingly designed exterior. We live nearby and have been to Café Maestro several times. The food was always excellent, whether pasta, pizza, or homemade beef roulades, everything was top quality. Particularly noteworthy was the fantastic and friendly service from Domenico and the owner's consistently warm welcome. You immediately feel at home and are always happy to return. Great people, excellent food, lovely atmosphere, everything was top-notch.

Very cozy restaurant, with very very friendly and forthcoming staff and good Italien food. Found it by accident via togoodtogo (always thought it would be a Bavarian place by the outside appearance) and was very happy with the kindness of the staff when at pickup and very positivly surprised how cozy and actually Italien it is on the inside so brought two friends here tonight and they also liked it a lot, will be back!

This restaurant was a complete nightmare from start to finish. The food was absolutely horrible—without question the worst meal we have ever had. Nothing tasted fresh, nothing tasted Italian, and nothing was even remotely enjoyable. The service was just as bad—slow, rude, and careless. And then came the biggest insult: they only accept cash. Of course, they didn’t bother to tell us that until the very end. We were stuck waiting two hours to go back to the hotel, get cash, and return just to settle the bill for food that didn’t even deserve to be eaten. I wish I could erase this experience. Please, do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this place.

This place redefines the meaning of terrible. The food? An insult to Italian cuisine. If you told me it came out of a microwave, I’d believe you. Honestly, calling it Italian is almost offensive—it was the worst excuse for food I’ve ever seen. The service? Imagine the worst service you can think of, then make it ten times worse. They acted like they were doing us a favor just by existing. And then the cherry on top: they only accept cash. Of course, they don’t tell you that when you arrive—they wait until the very end, after you’ve suffered through the disaster they call a meal. So yes, we had to waste two hours going back to the hotel to get cash just to pay for food that should have been free as an apology. Never again. Worst. Experience. Ever.

This was by far the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. The quality was beyond terrible. The food was advertised as Italian, but let me be clear: it was not Italian at all. It was the worst food we have ever tasted—completely disappointing and inedible. The customer service was equally awful—unprofessional, rude, and unhelpful. To make matters worse, they only accepted cash. But did they tell us that at the beginning? No. They only mentioned it at the very end, after we had finished “eating.” Because of this, we had to waste two full hours going back to the hotel to get cash just to pay for the worst meal of our lives. This place is an absolute disgrace. Bad food, bad service, bad management. Save yourself the trouble and avoid it at all costs.

Unfortunately, we can't share your positive experience with the food. Both the pizza and lasagna weren't what we'd expect from an Italian restaurant. The pizza was very doughy, and the crust was black in places. The oven needs to be cleaned. The lasagna was frozen food. The salad was very sandy. A shame...

A super friendly team and always welcoming to guests. Mimmo served us, and everything was perfect, from the appetizer to the dessert. The pancake was fresh and delicious, with a light vanilla flavor. I've been getting pizza here almost every week for over a year, and I've also been to the restaurant for other dishes. The food has been great every time, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are all nice and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

I found a fly in my olive oil, the solution was the take my oil and that was it. The ingredients of the pizza tasted remarkably bad and the pizza was very similar to a frozen one.

I ordered a juice and the glass was dirty from the cappy. The coffee glass had a piece of lemon stuck to it.

The menu isn't huge, but there's enough choice for everyone, from vegetarians to meat eaters, and from pizza and pasta fans. From the outside, Osteria Maestro appears rather small and cozy – almost like an insider tip. We were all the more surprised by how spacious and tastefully decorated it is inside. The large, custom-made tables are particularly striking and give the restaurant a special atmosphere – both inviting and stylish. Service is provided personally by Binka and Domenico, and you immediately sense their passion for what they do. Both are warm, attentive, and create a very pleasant atmosphere. The menu offers a lovely selection of Italian classics. We had a crispy, freshly baked pizza margarita and a tuna pizza – both very well topped and cooked to perfection. We didn't get to try the pasta this time, but the couple at the next table raved about the Bolognese and the carbonara – they truly looked fantastic. For starters, we opted for a fine carpaccio, and to finish, we had an excellent Italian coffee – strong but pleasantly well-rounded. The combination of friendly service, authentic food, and a harmonious ambiance won us over. We will definitely be back.

When we went to this small osteria as a school camp group (around 40 people), it was quite crowded inside. Personally, I didn't think the menu selection was particularly great, as there were a lot of typos (some people find it annoying, others don't 🤷‍♂️) and some ingredients or drinks weren't mentioned (my friend ordered a vegetarian pizza, for example, which contained mushrooms that weren't even listed on the menu). I also found the drink prices (regular water €3.90, small Coke €3.90) a bit steep for the relatively small amount of liquid they provided. The pizza tasted relatively poor and not particularly good value for money. The reasons for this were: *Unevenly rolled out dough, which was so thin in many places that even the salami on top was thicker *Very thick crust (approx. 4 cm) *Sloppy salami that (oddly) tasted like liverwurst *Unseasoned and very bland tomato sauce On the other hand, I found the service very relaxed and good, and everyone got their food quickly. Definitely nice people. All in all, I would NOT go to this restaurant again, because there is, for example, a much better and cheaper pizzeria across the street, and I found the prices a bit steep in the end. Review from a 15-year-old student.

Unfortunately, my first (and last) experience at this place was really disappointing. We ordered 3 pizzas, two of them came wrong. The solution was to take the two of them back and wait yet another 10-15 minutes for them to be done as ordered while the third person just ate alone! I could have excused the error if the pizza would have been good but it was one of the worst I've ever had. The ingredients were ok but there was too much sauce, too much liquid from the red peppers and even too much cheese! The dough in the middle became like a paste :( I could only eat less than a quarter before giving up but we had to pay for it. I might have been just unlucky but it really destroyed our eating out experience for the day.

We went to Osteria Maestro two evenings in a row – and each time it was a great experience! A fantastic Italian restaurant with a friendly atmosphere! We had pizza, and it was truly delicious – thin, crispy crust, high-quality ingredients, and perfect flavor. We were a larger group, about 10-15 people, but we still received excellent service; the staff was quick, friendly, and handled everything with ease. Right at the beginning of the evening, we were surprised by an incredibly nice experience – the elderly gentlemen at the next table gave us €50 without hesitation. This was completely unexpected and made us very happy. This restaurant not only offers good food, but also a unique atmosphere where nice things happen. We also practiced our German there, which made the evening even more enjoyable. I definitely recommend it and would love to come back! Absolutely! It's always excellent. The owner is very nice and runs the place with love. The service is excellent, they make almost anything possible, and the food is hard to beat. One of the best pizzas I've ever had, and the pasta dishes are amazing. The interior is also particularly outstanding. Very special, just like everything else. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant.

Even though we came after the restaurant closed, the very nice owner of the restaurant still offered us a pizza. The pizza was exceptionally good and was even better in the very nice restaurant.

We went in spontaneously and had a wonderful dinner in a pleasant atmosphere, discreet music and extremely attentive and prompt service. Antipasti, pizza and espresso like in Italy!

The food was really extremely tasty and really good. I was even able to watch it being prepared as the owner rubbed the cheese over my pasta. Speaking of the owner, he is a really nice and attentive man and even brings a bit of fun into it. The restaurant is nice and nicely decorated. It's really worth a visit!

Easily the best Italian I ever had. The veal ragout was great and the carbonara was even better. The chocolate souffle made me pause to savor it. I look forward to coming here again next time I make it to Munich. The service was excellent too!
