Mathilda in München

Location is ok. You shouldn't have too many demands on the food. Once I had a salad that consisted almost entirely of carelessly cut lettuce leaves (not even onions!) and another time the potato salad was drowned in an indefinable liquid that tasted like mustard. The food is quite expensive for the lack of quality. What's cool is that everything is vegan!

Delicious vegan food! I went for dinner and had the Rostbratwürstl mit hausgemachtem Kartoffelsalat, and ordered the Rigatoni al forno for take-away. It was my first stop in Munich and I highly recommend it. Great service and very nice atmosphere!

Our children took us to this new vegan pub in Munich. Since we have already visited many vegan restaurants in Munich, we can now have a say when it comes to vegan dishes. The Mathilda is now one of our top restaurants. Despite the limited menu (due to the sick chef - get well soon from here), the selection was very good and all the dishes, from starters to dessert, were incredibly tasty. The relaxed atmosphere and the quaint, funny staff made our evening an experience. We will be back definitely. Thanks

Super tasty food in really good portions. Were there for the first time today and it certainly won't be the last time. Unfortunately we didn't finish our plate completely. But we go home very full and satisfied :) Gladly again

Fantastic vegan Bavarian food at Mathilda. We recently visited Restaurant Mathilda and absolutely loved it. Mathilda offers veganized Bavarian dishes that are simply delicious. We had Bavarian tapas and grilled sausages on mashed potatoes and sauerkraut. Everything was excellently prepared and incredibly tasty. I was particularly impressed by the beer from a regional small brewery, which also tasted excellent. The entire visit was a pleasure and I can highly recommend Mathilda. Definitely 5 stars!

Overall okay, the atmosphere is good, the service was great, but unfortunately the food could be improved. The appetizer platter was very good, the fries were negative, although they were crispy but extremely greasy. Very fair priced.

We only drank at the bar, but we could always see into the kitchen serving hatch. Everything looked great and plentiful, it was just a shame that we had already eaten. The employee at the beer bar was very friendly, quick and courteous. The prices are all fair, the draft beer from the small brewery is excellent and really cold. The ambience is nice, the bold vegan concept on this corner should be rewarded. There is also a stage that could hopefully soon be used more often for small performances by singers and bands!

Vegan pub/restaurant in Munich. I had the vegan doner kebab with chips, which was delicious. My partner had the Thom Kha Gai which was quite rice-heavy and seemed to be a bit overcooked. Lovely staff and nice atmosphere. Overall, would definitely recommend

Thank you for this fun evening. On our last evening on a business trip we ended up at Mathildas out of curiosity and we were not disappointed. Omnis will also find something on the menu and vegans are in heaven. I chose my meal based on the boss's recommendation and it was great. Private, nice conversations with the boss and a few beers later, we left full and satisfied. We'll definitely come back next time.

What can I say? The food was very good and at least in our dishes few substitute products were used! The only thing in the lasagne was soy granules in the Bolognese - the taste was good, I didn't mix it together 😄 The atmosphere and service were relaxed!

Unfortunately, the font size of the drinks menu is very poor - it was difficult to read in the lighting conditions. In addition, the writing was blurred due to previous contact with liquid. The service was friendly, but could be a little more attentive when you're stuck on dry land. The starter for 2 people was a bit disappointing because there was only a cauliflower wing. The burger was good, the fries were very good - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The price-performance ratio is okay.

The Mathilda is a welcoming vegan inn in the heart of Neuhausen. It is run by the same operator who also runs the popular Gorilla Bar down the street. The Mathilda offers a spacious and cozy space that invites you to eat, drink and chat. Occasionally special events such as pub quizzes, concerts or stand-up comedy evenings take place. An area with bar tables is ideal for larger groups and birthday parties. The menu is diverse and combines Bavarian cuisine with influences from neighboring European countries as well as international cuisine. The dishes are so tasty and the portions are filling. The pricing of the starters leaves me a bit perplexed. Because despite the completely different effort involved, they all cost almost the same. Unfortunately, a small drawback is that after a visit you smell more strongly of food and the air is sometimes a bit stuffy because the ventilation in the rooms doesn't seem to work optimally. It would be nice if this could be improved in the future. All in all, the Mathilda is a top address in Neuhausen and worth a visit. Service 3.5/5 Ambiance 4/5 vegan selection 5/5 Taste 4/5 Price 4/5

Absolute recommendation!!! The food (especially the tarte flambée) tastes delicious (even for people who don't follow a vegan diet). The staff is extremely attentive and friendly and above all the lovely owner should be emphasized here :)!! It's also easy to reach by public transport and you can also find parking spaces here if you're driving :)

Leckerstes Essen, super Service, angenehme Vibes. Und der Inhaber ist eh eine Klasse für sich. Unique. Eine wahre Bereicherung für Neuhausen!

Wir sind schon Stammgäste in der Gorilla Bar, die einfach super ist. Ahmet, der Besitzer, hat es geschafft, dass das Mathilda genauso cool und gemütlich ist wie die Gorilla Bar, nur eben ein bisschen mehr Wirtshaus. Tolle Atmosphäre, gute Musik im Hintergrund, sehr gutes Essen, gutes Bier, gute Cocktails, netter Service... Wir kommen wieder!

Hier gibt's eine tolle Auswahl an leckeren veganen Gerichten, gutes Bier und coole Drinks. Dazu kommt der super freundliche Wirt Ahmet und eine lockere Atmosphäre.

Alles bestens: Sympathischer Inhaber, schneller Service, schönes Ambiente und sehr gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen. Wir werden jetzt öfter hier Essen gehen. Schade, dass wir das Mathilda jetzt erst für uns entdeckt haben...

Das Essen und speziell die Kässspatzn waren wirklich sehr gut! Es gibt außerdem sehr leckeres Bier der Schlossbrauerei Hohenthann. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich! Das Mathilda wird sicherlich eine feste Adresse werden, wenn wir in München sind. Nur zu empfehlen!

Ein bayerisches „Wirtshaus“ mit veganer Küche geht nicht? Geht. Und wie. Drei Fleischesser und ein Vegetarier sagen: Geil. Wir kommen definitiv wieder, mindestens bis wir einmal durch die Speisekarte durch sind. Ambiente außerdem wirklich bodenständig und nice. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Das Bier — aber man kann sich seinen Vermieter nicht aussuchen ;). Eine Bereicherung für Neuhausen!

Ehrlich gesagt wurden hier alle Erwartungen übertroffen, wir sind froh, dass es das Mathilda gibt und um es nochmal deutlich zu machen: bringt nicht nur Durst, sondern auch Hunger mit, denn das Essen hier darf man nicht verpassen! Der Service ist selbstredend auch ein Traum. Hier fühlt man sich Wohl und in guter Gesellschaft!
