I was really disappointed with my visit to Block House Augsburg. The food arrived completely cold and the wrong order was wrong – and instead of apologizing, the owner was extremely disrespectful and unfriendly. Such behavior is absolutely unacceptable. Never again!

This place is fantastic! Viviane and Sophie's service is absolutely top-notch! The restaurant industry needs people like them: discreet yet courteous, thorough, attentive but not silly, authentically honest, graceful with a touch of wonderful elegance – what a statement! I find the food simply wonderful and sometimes quite special, especially the dishes not on the menu; today it's the homemade sauerkraut roll. Karlo is doing a great job too, even though it's only his second day. I'll definitely be back; Augsburg and its people are simply beautiful!

It tastes absolutely delicious. The selection is also truly huge. And everyone there is incredibly friendly and attentive :)

Restored since the end of June 2025, closed due to abandonment!

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed after our visit yesterday. Right from the start, we had to wait about 15 minutes for our drinks. The food wasn't served until about an hour later – and then it was incomplete. After pointing this out to a server, we received no proper explanation, and even after another 20 minutes, the missing part of the meal still hadn't arrived. Finally, we got up to pay. Even then, there was no reaction or apology from the staff member. It's a real shame – we were looking forward to our visit, but unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

Food tip top The first time since I've been in the clinic in Haunstetten it was really good and I've ordered many times now but it's really the only delivery service I can recommend here, all the others were the worst

First time ordering from there. That was the last time. Taste-wise, it barely deserves a 2 (out of 5). The rice smelled and tasted musty. Far too sweet and lacking in spices. Way too expensive for what it was.

Friendly staff, great location, nice and very clean atmosphere. Unfortunately, the kebab is nothing special compared to other kebab shops in Augsburg. The bread is dry, the meat is dry and there's not much of it. Beyond that, there's just a hint of sauce, which made the whole thing a rather dry affair. The vegetables are fresh and crisp.

What a lovely evening at this restaurant! The service was friendly and attentive, and the menu was small but excellent. The atmosphere was very inviting, and anyone who enjoys Austrian cuisine will be in heaven. The creative cocktails, some of which are non-alcoholic, are also worth mentioning. Besides the classic dishes, I highly recommend the Tafelspitz (served cold) as a starter. We had a wonderful evening there and will definitely be back. There is ample parking available.

Unfortunately, the table wasn't that clean from previous guests, but it was truly incredibly delicious! We'd be happy to return.

Very friendly staff. The atmosphere is nice and not too loud. It's easy to have a pleasant conversation. The food is delicious, and the portions are reasonable for the price.
