Excellent service and food. The metzes are super, offering a wide variety of tastes. The main dishes are also excellent, but note that the portions are huge. If you're a light eater, opt for the small portion.

Unfortunately the prices are very, very high. I really have nothing against commercial efficiency...but €19.00 for a very small portioned moussaka is not okay. The staff tried hard and the garden was full. First, all tables of 2 and 4 were served. Our very large group (over 20 guests) had to wait a very, very long time for drinks to be ordered and served. And the back table got everything much later. - Not good. Unfortunately. Who knows if there are problems with serving staff there too? But it tasted good. So, to be fair, there are no complaints. All in all, definitely worth a second visit, but then I'd go for a smaller group for faster service. I found the atmosphere in the beer garden to be getting old and no longer up to date, if I'm honest. Could use refreshing.

A special Greek where you get several small portions/bowls so you can really test your taste buds whether you like Greek cuisine or not 😊 Priced a little more expensive than the others, but not every Greek offers something like that. Ah yes definitely try their olive oil with sea salt and a piece of barguette (free)

The Greek restaurant Ikaros exceeded our expectations and without a doubt deserves five stars! From the warm welcome to the last bite, every moment was a delight. The atmosphere was inviting and authentic, the staff extremely accommodating and the food simply outstanding. Every dish we tried was freshly prepared, full of flavor and presented with attention to detail. We were particularly impressed by the diversity of the menu, which offered both classic Greek dishes and creative variations. The quality of the ingredients was noticeable and we will definitely be back for more culinary adventures at Ikaros. An absolute must for anyone who wants to enjoy real Greek cuisine in a first-class atmosphere!

There were 9 + 0.5 people of us at lunch for a birthday dinner on Sunday. In addition to four starters (flambéed feta, baked feta, stuffed grape leaves, scampi in white wine sauce), the main course consisted of the grill plates: house plate (2 people), special plate (2 people), the fish plate (2 people), and the vegetarian plate (1 person). ). All dishes were very well prepared, especially the fish platter was very successful (one of the few Greek restaurants that offer high-quality sea bream). Desserts of baked feta, galaktoboureko, vanilla ice cream with honey and dessert wines. In addition to the obligatory Ouzo, there were very good wine recommendations (white & red); Greek wine is generally one of my favorite wines to pair with food. Service was nice and accommodating. (They wouldn't let us notice that we were eating during the restaurant's afternoon break.) Overall five star recommendation, price-performance ratio “good”. (It goes without saying that the price per dish costs a few euros more than at a "standard Greek" because the quality of the food and the preparation is higher.)

Typischer Grieche, prima Essen, gehört bestimmt zu den besten Griechen in Augsburg. Seit Längerem preislich komplett abgehoben. Sachanaki kostet jetzt 12,80 €! Zudem wurde die Größe des Schafskäses halbiert. Nur für eine Vorspeise für die Familie über 50 €? Und dann noch eine halbe Portion? Wenn man sieht, was andere Lokale (auch andere Nationalitäten) für dieses Geld bieten.... Beim Souvlaki für 17,90 € gibt es nur noch einen, anstelle von zwei Spießen. Den Krautsalat hat man ja schon vor längerer Zeit weggespart. Auch die kleinen Gerichte auf der Meze-Karte muss man mit hohen Preisen erkaufen. Sehr schade, tolles Essen, aber so vertreibt man Gäste. Ikaros - wie war nochmal die Sage des griechischen Helden?

I'm really excited! The food tasted amazing and the staff was super friendly. We ordered some tapas and they were all extremely tasty and made from very good ingredients. There is absolutely nothing to complain about and I would come back at any time. Absolutely top! :)

There were 4 of us there today. Had reservations. It was very drafty at the table. When we arrived it was still very manageable and pleasant, but as it got busier the service unfortunately got a little worse. The pita with garlic had a very small hint of garlic otherwise very very oily. Despite rising prices, the main courses absolutely did not fit into the price-performance sector and were simply too expensive for the quantity! Unfortunately there was no tzatziki to go with the bifteki, which would have had to be ordered separately for a lot of money! Unfortunately the "filled" Bifteke had just passed the cheese and some of them were still raw inside! The feta from the grill that was ordered was served incorrectly because it was feta from the oven. Paying over €9 for half a slice here is very steep! Likewise the farmer's salad which was really very very puny for over €10... And when we had eaten and wanted to finish our drinks, we were asked several times if we wanted anything else and unfortunately they realized that they wanted to free the table! Summary: It was nice to see but unfortunately the reviews are just blinding and it's not really that good, it's just designed for quick profit!

Yesterday I visited a friend in Augsburg. In the evening he went with me to his local Greek restaurant. The restaurant is somewhat hidden in Pfersee. The interior is extremely well maintained and clean, just a bit cramped. The decoration of the tables already suggests that “Ikaros” is not a standard Greek restaurant. You are given two menus, one for Greek tapas and one for the “normal” dishes that you also find at other Greeks. The selection is phenomenal. I took the Arkadia plate with gyros, bifteki, souvlaki and rice (without salad and tzatziki, 28.90 euros), with a Spezi 0.4l (4.40 euros). The food was very tasty, the meat was tender and juicy and the tomato rice was nice and creamy. I have rarely seen Greek cuisine at such a high level. There is also free white bread at the table, which you can eat beforehand with your own pressed olive oil, sea salt and oregano. The prices are certainly very high and well above average. Therefore, this restaurant is not suitable for "in between meals". However, it still seems to be well attended. However, if you consider that you don't go to a restaurant every day, these prices are bearable for the high quality of the food delivered and for the absolutely courteous and friendly service from the boss and his staff. It's better to have a really good meal once a month than to have a bad meal every day. If I lived here, I would definitely come by more often. So it was a great evening in a special Greek restaurant that I would happily recommend despite the high prices.

We were there at Christmas and had a delicious meal. Huge selection of appetizers that are great to eat together! Service attentive but not intrusive. Feel free to come back at any time!

Griechische Musik - Berieselung und saubere Tischeindeckung täuschen über Wucherpreise und Verwendung von Fertigprodukten ( Vedgies aus Fabrikfertigung anstelle Bratkartoffeln) hinweg. Den Ikarozteller für 34,90 € kenne ich andernortes als Dorf- oder Athenaplatte zum halben Preis, dafür mit Salatbeilage und abschließenden Ouzo. Ich war zweimal dort: das erste und letzte Mal!

I ordered a pot of lentil stew. The consistency was more like a lentil soup. Weky addition, lots of water, tastes good, service is good, the price is completely off the charts at almost 13 euros for a soup. You shouldn't support it. Going back to Deuringen next time.

Das Ambiente ist hier sehr schön und der Service freundlich und schnell. Gegessen hatte ich ein Souvlaki mit Reis und Kartoffeln für 15,90 Euro, nicht ganz günstig aber super lecker. Nur parken vor der Türe war nicht ganz einfach.

Die Taverne Ikaros kenne ich schon von klein auf. Das Essen war schon immer sehr gut und der Service sehr zuvorkommend. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt für die inzwischen sehr hohen Preise. Bei unserem letzten Besuch waren wir schockiert, wie stark die Preise angehoben wurden. Gut der Besuch davor fand noch vor Corona statt..

Hello there, we had 3 tapas and a large giros to share with a glass of Ouzo and white wine. Everything was so delicious and we enjoyed our time in Ikarus Taverna but I couldn't get over the price of one glass of Ouzo (4cl) to be 5-6Euros! No offense, but I'm from Izmir, Turkiye and I love Greek kitchen by nature, it's as if we share the same cuisine on opposite sides of the Eagean Sea. I travel to Chios often and we have friends there but that glass should've been 2Euros for 4cl max.

Von sehr guten Bewertungen angelockt, leider sehr enttäuscht. Bifteki hat keinen Feta bzw. generell keinen Käse enthalten, Zeusteller für 17 € ist schon frech für 2 winzige Spieße und ne Handvoll sehr trockenes Gyros. wir hatten 4 Gerichte, es gab nichtmal Tzatziki dazu. Muss man anscheinend auch extra bestellen und zahlen. 2 Sterne weils bei Abholung einen Ouzo aufs Haus gab.

Wir waren nach etwas längerer Zeit mal wieder dort und es war wie immer exzellent. Wir kommen ganz bald wieder.

Ich habe mir im Internet auf der Speisekarte Bay-Calamari vom Grill rausgesucht für 11,90€. Als ich dann im Lokal war und die Speisekarte bekam, kosteten die Baby-Calamari über 28,- €

Ein nettes kleines Lokal, das sich besonders auf Mezédes, eine große Kleinspeisenauswahl, spezialisiert hat und viel Wert auf Präsentation legt. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam. Die Qualität der Gerichte variiert leider ziemlich: lecker gewürzte saftige Hackfleischspieße, trockene Gyros (Zaziki wäre extra), frisch-knackiger Bauernsalat, unpassender Krautsalat (süßsauer wie aus dem Kühlregal). Insgesamt ist das Preisniveau recht hoch und passt nicht so recht zur Menge und Qualität der Speisen. Wer mit Mezédes satt werden möchte, muss mindestens 25-30 € bei nur durchschnittlicher Qualität veranschlagen.

Sehr gutes Essen, freundlicher Service. Auf die Physalis auf meinem Reis hätte ich gerne verzichtet (persönliche Meinung) und das Servicepersonal war mit den nach mir kommenden Gästescharen ausgelastet, sonst wäre ein fünfter Stern verdient gewesen.

Recht passable Speisen, leider wurden die Preise drastisch (üb)erhöht. Das Ambiente ist beengt, wenn es voll ist wird es teilweise unangenehm laut.

Essen ist gut, aber das Gyros scheint vorbereitet zu sein. Wir hatten ca. 3 Minuten nach der Bestellung das Essen auf dem Tisch stehen.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker, die Kellner sehr nett. Die Preise sind gehoben, die Portionen eher wenig für einen Griechen. Als Beispiel Scampi. Diese Kosten 16,90 Euro und da sind gerade sieben Stück drin. Das ist schon frech. Aber wie gesagt alles sehr lecker! Kommen gerne wieder :)

Teuer, mit den Jahren die Portionen verkleinert, inzwischen keinen Beilagensalat mehr dabei. Gyrosteller fast doppelt so teuer wie vorher.. und der Rest alles horrend teuer… bin früher gern ein- und ausgegangen. Aber kein Statement lässt tief blicken…

Gutes Lokal aber noch teurer geworden. Waren hier immer wieder zum essen. Es war immer gehobene Preisklasse aber in Ordnung. Mittlerweile ist das Essen weiterhin gut aber im Vergleich zu anderen nicht besser, dass sich der nochmals gehobene Preis rechtfertigt

Das Essen ist super lecker und frisch. Ich war öfters griechisch essen, aber Ikaros ist eindeutig wow! Das tolle Ambiente und das herzliche Personal geben einem ein sehr Willkommenes Gefühl. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und es wurden uns leckere Gerichte wie in Griechenland gezaubert. Wieso nach Griechenland fliegen, wenn man auch ins Ikaros gehen kann? Yummy! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Letzten Sonntag hatten wir für 20 Uhr einen Tisch bestellt. Das essen war gut wie immer, Service war leider nicht vorhanden. Wir konnten nichts mehr zu trinken bestellen und auch das Geschirr wurde nicht abgeräumt.

Wir waren am Samstag das erste Mal hier essen und ich muss sagen, das Essen schmeckt hervorragend! Ich habe leider noch nie etwas von diesem Restaurant gehört. Der Kellner war super freundlich. Wir werden definitiv öfter kommen.

Nette Bedienung, netter Kellner. Sehr schöner Biergarten. Sehr leckere griechische Küche. Mittleres bis oberes Preissegment. Die Fruchtschorle 0,2 l für 3,20 € sind m.E. zu teuer. Hier sollten es mindestens 0, 4l sein (gerne für 3,60 bis 3,80 €).

Super essen. Empfehlung. 4,10 Eur für ein kleines Bier ist allerdings heftig! Ein Stern Abzug.
