Taverna Ikaros in Augsburg

Ganz netter Laden, beim Essen war das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis leider nicht wirklich gut gewesen, die Portionen für die stolzen Preise waren klein und geschmacklich nur ok. Der Tsatsiki war dafür super, Service sehr nett und der kleine Biergarten war auch ganz schön.

Auch wenn die Preise hier etwas gehobener sind, schmeckt es doch hervorragend und ist es wert. Tische sind ansprechend gedeckt, Stoffservietten liegen bereit. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die auf den Tischen stehenden Behälter mit Fleur de Sel und aromatischem wildem Oregano zum nachwürzen, wenn das denn nötig wäre. Auch Olivenöl steht immer bereit. Es wird vom Haus Baguette und ein kleiner Ouzo serviert bevor die Bestellungen aufgenommen werden. Neben den üblichen griechischen Speisen, sind die einzeln bestellbaren Gerichte in kleinen Schälchen, z. B. Mini-Souvlaki, Putenspieß, Gyros, Bratkartoffeln, Kritaraki mit Käse überbacken, verschiedenes Gemüse, kleine Salate, Oktopus etc. etc. besonders zu erwähnen. Man kann sich aus dieser Zusatzspeisekarte sein Essen quasi im Baukastensystem selbst zusammenstellen. Eine tolle Weinauswahl, Biersorten, verschiedene alkoholfreie Getränke und z. B. Apfelsaftschorle naturtrüb u.v.m. begleiten das wohlschmeckende Mahl. Nachspeisen gibt es natürlich auch. Netter Service im gemütlichen Lokal und im Biergarten ist hier selbstverständlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren gestern den 20.06 im Ikaros. 32 Celsius. Voller Garten incl. zusätzlicher Tische. Leider waren die Gerichte nicht auf normalem Ikarosniveau . Weißweingarnelen, Moussaka und die kleinen Sardinen waren essbar. Bifteki (klein) und Bauernsalat gut. Fetagefuellter Blätterteig wirkte wie ein Konvinientzprodukt. Wir kommen trotzdem wieder wenn nicht soviel los ist !!!

Wir waren anlässlich eines Geburtstags in dem Lokal. Das Essen war wirklich phänomenal und der Service erstklassig! Prädikat: echt besonders empfehlenswert!

Die Qualität des Essens lag deutlich unter unseren Erwartungen, besonders angesichts der sehr hohen Preise. Die Gerichte wirkten weder frisch noch geschmacklich überzeugend, und insgesamt entsprach nichts dem Anspruch, den die Preise vermuten lassen.

Extrem! hohe Preise für schlechte Qualität.... Leider das erste uns letzte Mal dort gewesen. Der Außenbereich ist ganz nett!

Ein gutgeführtes tolles Restaurant mit spitzen Service, freundlichen und aufmerksamen Personal. Der Chef empfängt die Gäste und ist gut gelaunt. Das spricht sich herum, ohne Reservierung keine Chance. Geräuschkulisse sehr lebhaft (was ja nicht unbedingt von Nachteil sein muss). Luft könnte gerne etwas besser sein, was natürlich zur Winterzeit eher durch lüften vermieden wird. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch. Daher mein 👍Tipp.

Wir haben heute uns das Essen liefern lassen, leider kam das Essen kalt da der Uber Fahrer meinte er kann 1,5 Stunden Essen ausfahren mit Zwischenstopps und glaubt das Essen sei noch warm. Wir sind begeistert von dem Restaurant haben unser Problem geschildert und ohne wen aber kein Problem wir bringen euch nochmals Essen und diesmal fahren wir selbst. Vielen Dank dafür.

Zuerst: wer Probleme mit Zölliakie und/oder Gluten hat: Welcome! Hier kennt man sich bestens aus! Ambiente: gemütlich griechisch,niveauvoll. Personal: unglaublich cool und nett. (Auf die Frage wann man Abends schließt: wenn der letzte Gast geht.) Man merkt wie der Inhaber und sein Sohn sowie das ganze Team den Job liebt. Man mag gar nicht gehen.. Essen: tolle Auswahl, qualitativ super und in Menge genau richtig. Alles sehr stimmig inklusive herrlicher Weinauswahl und wirklich empfehlenswert. Top!!

Wir waren gestern dort zum Valentinstag. Es war ein phänomenaler Abend. Sehr schönes Ambiente, richtig toller und zuvorkommender Service und ein unbeschreiblich tolles Menü. Wir waren beide total begeistert wie fein und abgestimmt alles war, großartiger Geschmack, phänomenal❣️❣️

Sehr freundliches, bemühtes und aufmerksames Personal. Essen lecker, Brot zu sehr gutem Olivenöl wir auf das Haus gebracht. Wir waren im zur kalten Jahreszeit und es war leider zum Teil sehr kalt zum Sitzen. Trotzdem wollen wir im Sommer auf jeden Fall nochmal kommen und auch mal den Biergarten ausprobieren

Das Essen war sehr gut und der Service hervorragend. Das Restaurant war voll und trotzdem war das Personal immer freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Das Ambiente war sehr schön und einfach nur zum wohlfühlen. War ein sehr schöner Abend.

Willkommen in Griechenland. Das etwas versteckt gelegene Lokal erfüllt die Erwartungen in die griechische Küche. Das Angebot ist reichhaltig, die Vielzahl an kleinen Vorspeisen mag sogar bei einer Bestellung überfordern. Auch bei Hauptgerichten besteht die Qual der Wahl. Der Zeus-Teller ist zu empfehlen. Bei den Vorspeisen punktet der Octopussalat.Für das Auge und den Geschmack bietet sich der Espresso Martini an. Der Service ist kompetent und schnell. Kleiner Punktabzug: es ist vergleichsweise eng bestuhlt. Der direkte Kontakt zum Tischnachbarn ist somit gegeben - dies muss nicht jedem Gast gefallen.

Tolles Restaurant. Geheimtiipp von einem Arbeitskollegen. Heute Wolfsbarsch gehabt. Perfekt serviert. Nichts zu beanstanden. Und was ich noch auf dem Tisch gesehen habe und probiert, war tip top: Helena Pfanne, Gegrillte Calarami + Oktopusarm. Keep the spirit up.

This is the best Greek restaurant I've been to in a long time. I would go back again and again, please keep it that way. There aren't that many good Greek restaurants; most are taken over by new owners and aren't as good as they used to be, but this restaurant is very good. The best way to judge a Greek restaurant is by the quality of their gyro. The food here is absolutely delicious.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Taverna Ikaros, and I can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I entered the restaurant, I felt transported to a little corner of Greece. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, as were the staff, who greeted us with a smile. The food was simply outstanding! Every bite was a delight, seasoned with authentic Greek spices that perfectly enhanced the flavors. I was particularly impressed by the olive oil from Dr. Tyrologos—it added remarkable depth to the dishes. The starters and main courses were superb in both presentation and taste. Another highlight was the incredibly hospitable owner, who personally ensured our complete comfort. His warm personality and commitment to impeccable service made the evening a truly special experience. Without hesitation, I give Taverna Ikaros five stars. If I had the opportunity to award more stars, I would do so in a heartbeat! Many thanks to the entire team for this wonderful culinary experience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Unfortunately, the restaurant is very noisy on summer nights, especially on weekends. Music is often played and people talk loudly until late into the night, with no consideration for the neighbors. We ask that you please be more careful in the future.

We were in the beautiful outdoor area yesterday. We received a very warm welcome and were recommended a very good local white wine. The food was just like in Greece. Finally, a real souvlaki. A dream! The owner was very nice and took care of every guest, including ouzo and more. 😃 Thank you for the lovely evening and a wonderful holiday!

BEWARE: RIP-OFF!! We were invited there and can only shake our heads at the value for money. The portions are tiny, the prices are unreasonably high, and the food isn't exactly gourmet, but if you know anything about Greek cuisine, it's more like average. This has nothing to do with Greek hospitality; it's all about profit!

A wonderful restaurant – we were completely captivated by the tapas menu – so we were able to put together a delicious buffet for our table that perfectly suited our appetites. The selection of vegetarian dishes is also exceptional – the artichokes in lemon sauce are truly divine ✨. Furthermore, the ambiance is very pleasant and the staff are very friendly.

We visited the restaurant on a Tuesday evening and sat on the very quiet and cozy terrace with a couple of heaters. The service was very friendly and extremely prompt. Everyone was given a free ouzo. The food was incredibly good! For starters, we shared a mixed platter, which was very extensive and truly delicious. I then ate the best bifteki of my life. The meat was super tender and superbly seasoned, so it didn't need tzatziki. My companion's Zeus plate was very large, so we had the leftovers packed up. These were sealed in a practical container with foil, so the meal was just as delicious the next evening. We can highly recommend the restaurant!

Were there today with 8 people. Service, food, ambience, everything was great. Some guests in and around the group said they hadn't eaten Greek so well in a long time :). The two of us have been there before and the food was always delicious. We'll definitely come back. A gastronomic enrichment in Pfersee. If you don't want 0/815 Greek cuisine you should definitely visit this restaurant.

On December 22nd we had a small birthday party and spent an atmospheric lunchtime in the “Ikaros” with a wonderful, rich feast and service that left nothing to be desired. The table was beautifully set and everything breathed friendly and courteous Greek hospitality! The food was excellent, as were the drinks. Every wish was fulfilled immediately and the children also felt comfortable. A restaurant of this upscale couldn't be better. It is of course clear that cheap meat is offered here, but the lamb here had nothing to do with lamb. In fact, since I've been here, I've known how bad lamb can actually taste. We all have to see where we stay, but such prices for such outrageously cheap meat are an absolute disgrace.

Excellent service and food. The metzes are super, offering a wide variety of tastes. The main dishes are also excellent, but note that the portions are huge. If you're a light eater, opt for the small portion.

Unfortunately the prices are very, very high. I really have nothing against commercial efficiency...but €19.00 for a very small portioned moussaka is not okay. The staff tried hard and the garden was full. First, all tables of 2 and 4 were served. Our very large group (over 20 guests) had to wait a very, very long time for drinks to be ordered and served. And the back table got everything much later. - Not good. Unfortunately. Who knows if there are problems with serving staff there too? But it tasted good. So, to be fair, there are no complaints. All in all, definitely worth a second visit, but then I'd go for a smaller group for faster service. I found the atmosphere in the beer garden to be getting old and no longer up to date, if I'm honest. Could use refreshing.

A special Greek where you get several small portions/bowls so you can really test your taste buds whether you like Greek cuisine or not 😊 Priced a little more expensive than the others, but not every Greek offers something like that. Ah yes definitely try their olive oil with sea salt and a piece of barguette (free)

The Greek restaurant Ikaros exceeded our expectations and without a doubt deserves five stars! From the warm welcome to the last bite, every moment was a delight. The atmosphere was inviting and authentic, the staff extremely accommodating and the food simply outstanding. Every dish we tried was freshly prepared, full of flavor and presented with attention to detail. We were particularly impressed by the diversity of the menu, which offered both classic Greek dishes and creative variations. The quality of the ingredients was noticeable and we will definitely be back for more culinary adventures at Ikaros. An absolute must for anyone who wants to enjoy real Greek cuisine in a first-class atmosphere!

There were 9 + 0.5 people of us at lunch for a birthday dinner on Sunday. In addition to four starters (flambéed feta, baked feta, stuffed grape leaves, scampi in white wine sauce), the main course consisted of the grill plates: house plate (2 people), special plate (2 people), the fish plate (2 people), and the vegetarian plate (1 person). ). All dishes were very well prepared, especially the fish platter was very successful (one of the few Greek restaurants that offer high-quality sea bream). Desserts of baked feta, galaktoboureko, vanilla ice cream with honey and dessert wines. In addition to the obligatory Ouzo, there were very good wine recommendations (white & red); Greek wine is generally one of my favorite wines to pair with food. Service was nice and accommodating. (They wouldn't let us notice that we were eating during the restaurant's afternoon break.) Overall five star recommendation, price-performance ratio “good”. (It goes without saying that the price per dish costs a few euros more than at a "standard Greek" because the quality of the food and the preparation is higher.)

Typischer Grieche, prima Essen, gehört bestimmt zu den besten Griechen in Augsburg. Seit Längerem preislich komplett abgehoben. Sachanaki kostet jetzt 12,80 €! Zudem wurde die Größe des Schafskäses halbiert. Nur für eine Vorspeise für die Familie über 50 €? Und dann noch eine halbe Portion? Wenn man sieht, was andere Lokale (auch andere Nationalitäten) für dieses Geld bieten.... Beim Souvlaki für 17,90 € gibt es nur noch einen, anstelle von zwei Spießen. Den Krautsalat hat man ja schon vor längerer Zeit weggespart. Auch die kleinen Gerichte auf der Meze-Karte muss man mit hohen Preisen erkaufen. Sehr schade, tolles Essen, aber so vertreibt man Gäste. Ikaros - wie war nochmal die Sage des griechischen Helden?
