Wunderschön zum drinnen und draußen sitzen, essen frisch, feine Zutaten . Sind möglicherweise zu weit abseits gesessen um eine komplett Verwöhnung um einen Stern zu erhöhen;) ps: die biergartengäste mögen keine Raucher

Stilvolle Einrichtung, leckeres und reichliches Essen, sehr nette Bedienung.

Das Restaurant ist zwar zentral gelegen, nett eingerichtet und verfügt über einen wunderschönen Innenhof, aber leider bekommt man kaum jemals einen Tisch, wenn man nicht rechtzeitig vorher reserviert hat - draußen schon gar nicht. Obwohl damals gegen kurz vor 18 Uhr noch viel (fast alles) frei war und um 19 Uhr auch noch einige Tische unbelegt waren, ist das Bedienpersonal scheinbar recht uninteressiert an zusätzlicher Laufkundschaft und wenn man nach dem Eintreten überhaupt eines Blickes gewürdigt wird, unhöflich beim Abweisen von (hungrigen) Gästen. Wir haben es trotzdem immer wieder mal versucht und es gelang uns dann tatsächlich doch einmal ohne Reservierung einen Tisch zu ergattern. Keine Ahnung weshalb, denn da war das Lokal schon recht gut gefüllt? Jedoch saßen wir dann in einem Durchgangsbereich; die Nachbartische waren recht eng gestellt. Es dauerte eine ganze Weile bis wir von den hin und her laufenden Kellnern bedient wurden und auch das Essen kam nicht ganz so zügig. Fazit: Wir wurden schon freundlicher und zuvorkommender behandelt, haben auch schon wesentlich besser griechisch gegessen und wesentlich günstiger auch. - Schade eigentlich. Ambiente ist eben nicht alles.

Großes Lob an die Küche, alles war geschmacklich top und auf den Punkt zubereitet. Umso trauriger ist es, dass der Service uns den gesamten Abend komplett ruiniert hat. **Der Service:** * **Lange Wartezeit:** Wir müssten beim Nachbestellen ewig warten, bis der Kellner uns überhaupt bemerkte und unsere Bestellung aufnahm. * **Vergessene Bestellung:** Ein Getränk wurde komplett vergessen. Fehler können passieren, aber die Reaktion darauf war unmöglich. * **Arroganz & Spott:** Der Kellner trat von Anfang an extrem arrogant auf. Als wir ihn schließlich höflich auf das fehlende Getränk und die Karte ansprachen, nahm er die Beschwerde überhaupt nicht ernst, sondern machte sich stattdessen auch noch offen darüber lustig. **Fazit:** Kulinarisch top, menschlich diesmal ein totaler Reinfall.

Jedes einzelne Gericht war absolut perfekt und kulinarisch makellos zubereitet!

Griechische Küche bekommt man relativ häufig aber diese Restaurant hebt sich nochmal von der norm ab. Sehr gutes essen, Fisch ist wirklich ausgezeichnet, schneller service und angenehmes ambiente.

Sehr gute Auswahl ahl an Speisen, nette Bedienung. Super fisch und lamm gerichte und schöne Auswahl an Desserts. Wir kommen immer gern hierher mit meiner Frau. :)

Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren immer wieder sehr gerne hierher und fühlen uns jedes Mal richtig wohl. Man wird immer herzlich empfangen und einfach gut umsorgt. Das Essen ist jedes Mal sehr lecker und die Qualität stimmt einfach immer. Man merkt, dass hier mit viel Herz gearbeitet wird und es ist wirklich nicht selbstverständlich, über so viele Jahre dieses Niveau zu halten. Auch der Umgang ist besonders angenehm: Der Inhaber und das ganze Team sind freundlich, respektvoll und gleichzeitig angenehm diskret. Für uns ist dieses Restaurant etwas Besonderes geworden. Waren zum ersten Mal hier. Essen war geschmackslos. Für dieses Preis sehr schade. Wo wir das einer Kellnerin gesagt haben, wurden alle andere Kellner hochnäsig und niemand wollte bei uns Geschirr abholen. Die haben mir ins Augen geschaut und sind weiter gegangen. Der Restaurant ist nur ein hype.

Das Poseidon ist seit Jahren unser Stammgrieche. Die Qualität des Essen ist überragend. Der Service ist immer super freundlich und zuvorkommend und auch wenn der Laden proppenvoll ist halten sich Wartezeiten im absolut erträglichen Rahmen. Auch das Ambiente ist wirklich schön und man fühlt sich pudelwohl. Zwar ein bisschen teurer, aber total gerechtfertigt. Reservierung dringend empfohlen! Bitte weiter so!

Vorspeisenplatte "Mezedes" und die Nachspeise "Hausgemachte Halva-Eiscreme" waren wirklich ein Traum, die "Lammhaxe" hatte ich mir etwas würziger vorgestellt. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend. Besten Dank.

Leider wieder ein Restaurant in der Maximilianstraße was sich zum Party Lokal verändert hat. Für uns war es früher was Besonderes dort Essen zu gehen, jetzt nicht mehr. Auch geschmacklich hat es uns nicht überzeugt. Zu wenig und dafür zu teuer.

Schönes griechisches Restaurant in Zentrum von Augsburg. In der Nähe von Basilika. Essen war gut - 8 von 10 Punkte. Reservierung wünschenswert. Habe ganz lange Parkplatz gesucht - deswegen 4 Sterne

Schade Marmelade. Angefangen bei der suspekten Online Reservierung wo mir eine falsche Zeit bestätigt wurde und dies gleich in doppelter Ausführung. Über den überfüllten (warum eigentlich?) Gastraum wo man ohne sich groß zu verbiegen dem Nachbartisch Baby Calamari tief in die Augen blicken konnte. Es gab kein Ouzo serviert und das aller, aller schlimmste: kein Samos! Also einfach kein Samos! Beim Griechen! Joa, Essen war ok. Hat mich jetzt net überzeugt, war hier aber schon bedeutend besser. Lag es am vollen(?) Haus oder neue Besetzung in der Küche? Bleibt ein Geheimnis, juckt mich auch net. Ohne Samos, komm ich auch net wieder.

Das Fleisch war ein Gedicht zart , saftig. Wir waren sehr begeistert und kommen auf alle Fälle wieder 🥰

Feiner Grieche mit schönem Ambiente.

Leider waren Gräten im Fischfilet, aber alles ein Gaumenschmaus. Bisschen teuer für das, was auf dem Teller war. Service war nett und freundlich, hätte aber von selbst öfter vorbei kommen können.

Der Sommelier hat profundes Wissen und teilt es begeisternd mit.

Wir aßen traditionelle Fischgerichte und ein Dessert. Ich kann es Liebhabern der griechischen Küche nur empfehlen. Ich war zufrieden.

Gutes Essen, aber ein paar Abstriche Das Restaurant Poseidon in Augsburg hat wirklich leckeres Essen – geschmacklich top und schön angerichtet. Besonders die Steaks waren gut, allerdings für meinen Geschmack etwas klein portioniert. Außerdem war es im Lokal sehr laut, sodass man sich teilweise schwer unterhalten konnte. Trotzdem insgesamt ein positives Erlebnis: freundlicher Service, gutes Essen – daher 4 Sterne. Wenn die Portionen größer wären und die Lautstärke angenehmer, wäre es perfekt.

Seit mehr als 20 Jahren essen wir hier und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Das ist für uns der beste Grieche weit und breit – absolute Empfehlung!

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Despite a telephone reservation and confirmation that we could use a Schlemmerblock voucher, we were told on-site that the voucher was invalid. It's frustrating to be lured to a restaurant under false pretenses. A 70 km drive for nothing. I suggest the restaurant honor the offers it contractually agrees to with Schlemmerblock. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful, upscale location, friendly and fast service, delicious food, and generous portions (especially the tzatziki as a starter, which is exceptionally large for €7). The tomato rice is the best I've ever had at a Greek restaurant. The side salad is also highly recommended. The value for money is good – a bit pricey, but that's to be expected at a Greek restaurant. We'll definitely be back. 😊 Reservations recommended!

I was here once and never again. It's definitely not for vegetarians. I ordered zucchini and these Greek fried potatoes. I got maybe 6 or 7 zucchini (sliced) 😂 The potatoes, along with a drink, cost about €20.

Family-run restaurant. The first Greek restaurant in Augsburg. Beautiful, elegantly designed with a feel-good factor. Market-fresh dishes, exceptionally high quality. You can see and taste the freshness of the food. I also love that the side dishes are served according to the dish, not the same side dish for every dish. Here, for example, rice. Today I had swordfish fillet with vegetables and potatoes; it was truly delicious. To top it all off, the "Sweet Nest" – a dream of crispy kadaifi threads with velvety cream. A fabulous taste experience. Service, as always, was excellent – ​​unobtrusively friendly and personal. Excellent as always. Today I treated myself to pumpkin soup with croutons and Parmesan, salmon fillet with vegetables and potatoes, and Sweet Nest for dessert.

Very good food no matter what dessert beautiful

We had a birthday dinner with the family. Total bill was about 300 euro. Drinks included cola, 2 beers and 1 cocktail. We ordered Tbone steak, seafood, shrimps in tomato sauce, desserts. Seafood was 1/2 left , was not fully grilled.

The last time I was at Poseidon was as a child, and yesterday we were there for my husband's birthday. Nothing to complain about. The food was incredibly delicious! Absolutely recommended!

I used to go to this place often, before it was renovated. Back then, the atmosphere was more comfortable, and the food was better, too. The gyro I ordered was dry. Normally, every guest gets a free uzo, but here we weren't even asked. What a shame. This was the last time I went there.

We don't have Greek restaurants where we live and I was looking forward to a Greek meal while in Germany. This place was a good choice. Friendly service, good food with decent portions, although the meat was slightly overcooked. Prices were ok and the restaurant was in a clean and pleasant space.

We went to Poseidon last week for dinner and cocktails, and it was truly excellent. The service was very attentive and the ambiance was a 10/10. We sat in the garden. We had various starters and main courses and were all very satisfied. The cocktails were also delicious. All in all, I will definitely come back and highly recommend the restaurant.

The restaurant was recommended to me but was told it was expensive. No, it's not expensive, it's high quality, and quality has to be paid for. Very easy. The space is beautifully designed clean, well maintained, with modern Greek aesthetics. No kitschy columns, no statues, no exaggerated decoration, everything is discreetly, stylishly and tastefully decorated, just as it should be. An atmosphere that really makes you feel good. The staff was friendly, attentive and looked after us excellently. We had a Cypriot salad with halloumi, arugula and pine nuts, fava with octopus and baby calamari and Mastelo cheese from Chios as starters. For main courses we had gyros with hand-cut fries, the village plate and additional baby calamari. For dessert there were two excellent desserts with pistachios and white chocolate and a dessert with chocolate mousse - light, fresh and very tasty. The restaurant also stands out when it comes to drinking: You can order tsipouro with or without anise, not the usual ouzo that you get everywhere. At the end you are politely asked whether you would like a mastiha or a limoncello – a lovely, stylish gesture. There is also an excellent selection of Greek wines (no imiglikos, Athos and table wines), as well as the excellent Mataroa Gin for real connoisseurs. At the end there was a perfectly made Freddo Cappuccino and Freddo Espresso - and at that moment the feeling of Greece completely flowed through us. Bravo guys, keep it up! If my path takes me here again, I will definitely come back!

We came from Munich and spontaneously decided to have lunch at Poseidon and were very impressed by the quality and service. The atmosphere is very well maintained and there are comfortable chairs.

An absolute highlight! The food is simply fantastic – fresh, authentic and prepared with a lot of love. The appetizer plate in particular is a poem. The service is always attentive, friendly and warm, you immediately feel welcome. The atmosphere is also typically Greek and very cozy. We will definitely be back – a real recommendation for anyone who loves good Greek cuisine!

Personally, I won't go there again. The food tasted quite good, but the fries were overseasoned with a French fry seasoning. The steak was ordered medium but arrived almost raw. When I asked, they said it was supposed to be cooked that way! The steak I ordered medium-well was cooked perfectly medium, but unfortunately not medium-well as ordered. And overall, the food was presented rather carelessly. I can't speak highly of the friendly service. No smiles, just the bare minimum. Concerns were ignored! Toothpicks were refused the first time?! The gyro with calamari dish comes with a small salad, according to the menu. I asked twice for the salad, and both times they said there was no salad. The third time, I pointed them to the menu. Suddenly, there was a salad! In my opinion, the waiters should know the menu. While we were finishing our appetizers, the main course was already slammed onto our dirty little appetizer plates! Good service means something different.

The first choice in Augsburg for many years. Nowadays it's no longer so Greek and kitschy, but rather a modern ambience in which you feel comfortable.

Overall, a chic, but rather overpriced restaurant. The service was absolutely unmotivated, which cost the gentleman who served us so listlessly his tip. The food was good, although not outstanding. The missing ingredient was heard after a certain waiting period. But that had no consequences! In no case was it worth the prices quoted. Maybe you would still accept such prices if you get a good feeling through excellent service, but you get the message: We don't need to make any effort!

This Greek restaurant was recommended to us by some colleagues, but unfortunately we were disappointed overall. This restaurant tries to portray something it is not. This becomes clear as soon as you enter. The store is far too big, far too cool, far too anonymous. The furnishings scream expensive, are unfortunately completely devoid of style and have as much to do with a beautiful Greek restaurant as RB Leipzig has to do with tradition. The store is huge and anonymity is very important here. We ordered a mixed platter for two people. For 75€. There was also the white house wine twice. The portion size was okay, but the meat was unfortunately tasteless, as was the ambience, and the cooking point was a bit too high. How fitting. Some savings were made on the grilled vegetables, but not on the oil. The whole thing is a bit very greasy, but also fitting. Unfortunately a disappointing experience, if you're looking for a real authentic Greek, I wouldn't start here. The journey continues.

Nice and welcoming place. The staff very nice. They were very kind because even though I asked for a change of course due to my decision without any errors from the kitchen, they didn't make me pay for it.

Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was a huge disappointment. The main courses were extremely greasy, some of the vegetable side dishes seemed to have been fried long before, and the strong smell of oil spoiled my appetite - I could barely take a bite. As a starter I ordered a cold seafood meze platter, but it was obviously not fresh. Even the tzatziki was disappointing in taste. Additionally, our table was wobbly, which made eating even more unpleasant. The only acceptable dish was the panna cotta, but that alone doesn't save the overall experience. I expected more based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately the restaurant is below average. I can't recommend it.
