Wir haben draußen im Biergarten gesessen, war sehr schön. Das Personal und der Chef superfreundlich. Zum Essen gab es nur ne Kleinigkeit, aber die war göttlich: Oktopus vom Lavasteingrill auf Favabohnenpüree mit eingelegten Zwiebeln. Das Moussaka von meinem Schatz ( ohne Foto) war auch sehr lecker. Dazu ein Sauvignon Blanc . Wir waren hochzufrieden. Aufs Haus gab es als Absacker noch Ouzo. Wenn wir nicht soweit weg wohnen würden, wären wir hier Stammgäste🥰

Gutes Essen, wunderschöne Lage und angenehme Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien.

Ein griechisches Restaurant mit besonderem Touch, wenn man hier zum Essen geht, dann nicht zum Griechen neben an. Jedes Gericht auf der Karte wirklich mit Liebe zubereitet . Ein tolles Ambiente om Sommer, den Punktabzug gibt es lediglich für die Innenfläche.

Top Adresse, liegt an der Göggingerstrasse, ist aber toll abgegrenzt. Stört überhaupt nicht. Man sitzt unter wunderschönen Kastanien. Ausgefallene Speisen, die ich so vom Griechen nicht kenne. Wir waren äußerst zufrieden.

Eines des besten Griechen wo ich bis jetzt war 👍wir reisen sehr viel und muss sagen einfach nur genial 👍Ein super klasse und freundlicher Service, Qualität der Speisen und geschmacklich mindestens 10 Sterne. Wenn ihr einen 08/15 Griechen wollt seid ihr hier definitiv falsch. Ja es ist preislich etwas gehobener, jedoch jeden Cent wert.

⭐ 12 von 10 Punkten! Wir fühlen uns hier einfach rundum wohl - wie im Urlaub, nur ohne Flug. Das Personal ist immer dasselbe, hoch aufmerksam und unglaublich freundlich. Man merkt sofort: Hier kennt man seine Gäste und nimmt sich Zeit. Und das Essen... unglaublich lecker! Man schmeckt das Herzblut, das vom Inhaber bis zum letzten Teller beim Gast ankommt. Alles mit Liebe zubereitet, authentisch griechisch und einfach toll. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne her. Absolute Empfehlung!

Das Essen schmeckt hier einfach super. Der beste Grieche den ich kenne. Service ist sehr nett. Es ist sehr hübsch hier. Innen und außen kann man sehr toll sitzen.

Ein absolute empfehlenswerter Grieche, wo du auch typisch griechisch essen kannst, aber etwas gehobener und nicht abgehoben. Wirklich stimmiger und herzlicher Service. Die Familie lebt Ihre Arbeit und auch die Gastlichkeit. Wir waren zu dritt essen, wurden freundlichst empfangen. Es war auch gerade zufällig das Osterfest, dass wir gar nicht wussten, und es gab Lamm, Haxe und Lammbraten vom Holzkohlegrill aus dem Garten. Das Lokal war brechend voll. Eine Reservierung ist zwingend erforderlich. Natürlich kannst du auch mal spontan hingehen und halt dann einfach warten und dabei ein Ouzo an der Bar trinken.. Hat mir wirklich außerordentlich gut gefallen. Herzliche Grüße aus Murnau. Ich war mit meinen Freunden, Heike und Thomas vor Ort, die das Lokal empfohlen haben und auch reserviert haben.

Wir kamen zu dritt mit Hund - und ohne Reservierung. Es gab einen ausgesprochen freundlichen Empfang, einen guten Tisch und ein sehr aufmerksames und nettes Team. Das Essen war top, Rinderfilet & Lachs perfekt gebraten, das Tsatsiki mit viel Schmackes und ein Knoblauchbrot, wie ich es mir wünsche. Alles wunderbar. Lieben Dank! Wir kommen definitiv wieder, wenn wir das nächste Mal in Augsburg sind.

Das Symposium ist ein Wohlfühllokal. Chef Janni und sein Team zeigen stets hohen persönlichen Einsatz. Gäste werden hervorragend beraten, die Speisekarte bietet ein abwechslungsreiches Programm. Zu empfehlen ist der Bauernsalat. Zu beachten ist ferner das wechselnde Monatsmenü. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist in Ordnung, zumal die Qualität der Speisen gleichbleibend gut ist. Sehr schön ist in den Sommermonaten der Biergarten.

Gastfreundschaft hat für uns einen neuen Namen : SYMPOSIUM ("wo Menschen zusammenkommen um zu essen, lachen und philosophieren" ) Durch Zufall sind mein Mann und ich dort in Laufnähe unseres Hotel gelangt und es war ein Erlebnis der Extraklasse! Wir kamen dann noch 2x zum Essen. Das Ambiente ist mit Liebe zum Detail gestaltet, man spürt das dort sowohl die Speisen als auch die Ausstattung mit Geschmack und Stil gewählt sind. Jedes Gericht ein Gaumenschmaus und die Gastbegleitung (Bedienung hört sich so unpassend an) ist unglaublich freundlich, unaufdringlich und doch aufmerksam. Der Aufenthalt im Symposium war Balsam für Leib und Seele. Danke nochmals von Markus und Juliane aus Passau. Wenn wir in Zukunft unsere Liebsten in Augsburg besuchen ist ein Abstecher zum Symposium PFLICHT!

Ich liebe das Symposium – man fühlt sich dort sofort sehr wohl. Es gibt eine riesige Auswahl an Speisen, für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei. Der Service ist 1A: freundlich, aufmerksam und immer hilfsbereit. Auch die Einrichtung ist top, modern und gemütlich zugleich. Besonders praktisch: man kann sowohl drinnen als auch draußen sitzen, je nach Lust und Wetter. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es bequem in den Seitenstraßen. Absolut empfehlenswert – ich komme immer wieder gerne!

The four of us spontaneously went to the restaurant and got a lovely table without a reservation. The waiter was very attentive and showed us to our table. The ambiance was lovely and somewhat upscale. All the dishes we ordered arrived at the same time. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted absolutely delicious. We'd gladly come back.

The best moussaka I've ever had. The service was cheerful and very efficient. A guest dropped a fork, and the server handed over a fresh one before the guest even realized what had happened. That's the level of service we're talking about here. We'll be back soon!

Absolutely fantastic, extremely friendly staff and incredibly delicious food.

We had a birthday party last night for 10 people. From the welcome to the desserts, everything was absolutely perfect. You can tell that everything is freshly cooked, and a big thank you to our waiter Dimi, who made our evening perfect. They really put in the effort. We work in the restaurant industry ourselves and can judge that very well. We'll definitely be back. Keep up the good work! 👍🏻

The food was simply fantastic – large, delicious portions, and everything freshly prepared. The service was outstanding: The staff was very friendly and attentive, constantly checking if we needed anything. Everyone received their food at the same time. I'd especially like to emphasize that we had to reschedule our reservation by an hour at short notice – this was no problem at all. On the contrary, we received a warm welcome and were even given the best table in the restaurant.

There were four of us, and we ate: salmon, calamari, grilled vegetables, sardines, tzatziki, and pita. Everything was very good, and the portions were OK. Only the sardines were quite small and a bit overcooked (a bit dry). Overall, we were very satisfied. The service is incredibly friendly, but not overly so. You feel very comfortable there, and there are also delicious dishes for vegetarians.

WOW! I'm truly speechless at how good this restaurant is. First of all, I'm not only impressed by the extremely friendly and understanding staff, but also by the delicious Greek food! The three of us ate there, and it was wonderful. The meat was absolutely delicious and juicy, and the desserts are highly recommended! I would recommend reserving a table before you go, though, so it's not too crowded, as it can get quite busy on weekends and it can get crowded otherwise. The restrooms are also very clean and hygienic; just walking past, you could even glimpse into the kitchen, which also looked spotless. The style of the restaurant is very chic, and the tables and chairs are cleaned regularly and immediately after guests leave. We were truly thrilled with the symposium and will definitely be back!

We sat in the conservatory, which was very nice and also had a wonderful beer garden. The food was limited, but the side dish for each meat had to be ordered separately. The meat skewer didn't come with anything; rice, potatoes, salad, tzatziki, all extra. Hence the star deduction. The chairs were comfortable, but a bit cramped when standing up. And despite the stated occasion, there wasn't a single decoration. I brought my own.

A slightly different Greek restaurant without the usual xy plates and platters. Great Greek cuisine, a fine selection, and superb and excellent service.

I don't really understand the "praise." The food is okay, but not outstanding. Serving two empty meat skewers with no side dishes at all, and having to pay extra for every little thing, is unheard of in any Greek restaurant I know. The menu is relatively straightforward. The staff is friendly, but that's quite normal in any halfway well-run restaurant, and the service wasn't particularly professional. Perhaps a new waiter?! There was no reason to complain, and there shouldn't be. But these high prices don't reflect the true quality of the food!

This was our first time here... Beautiful location and delicious, superlative food. Excellent service. I had the feta in puff pastry with organic honey, which was perfect, and the classic moussaka was delicious. I've never eaten so well in my months in Augsburg.

This was our second visit; the staff was friendly and helpful. In the summer, you can sit on the terrace. The food was very good, and the portions were manageable, so the plates weren't overstuffed. The prices were mid-range to upscale. The menu was straightforward. We'd be happy to come back.

I have been eating at the Symposium with friends, family or business partners for over 4 years now. From the very likeable, friendly and courteous team, to the atmosphere and the typical Greek food - simply perfect. Here the family still cooks themselves in the kitchen and you can taste it! Highly recommended and always fantastic!

A visit to the Restaurant Symposium is a new experience every time. The conditions are very nice, you feel at home and the food is very tasty.

Quite expensive, which is also concealed by the separate inserts. The portion was very clear. The service tried very hard to provide quick service, which worked well.

Excellent food and (despite a full house!) attentive and friendly service! The dishes were served quickly and at the same time for all four guests and without exception tasted very delicious. You should definitely make a reservation and allow enough time to look for a parking space.

Be sure to ask the boss for recommendations - you won't regret it.

Nothing to improve, reservation was possible even on a Thursday in a relaxed manner via the website, the staff is very friendly and accommodating! Once again, the food tasted outstanding despite small special requests and was ready quickly. In terms of price it is very good for the quality, had 2 starters, 2 large main courses and some drinks for 90 € that is very reasonable :)

Sooooooooo good! Had dinner at Symposium today. The staff is very friendly and quick - the food is also super quick and really tasty. I have to say this was the BEST SOUVLAKI I have ever eaten in my life 😍. Plus the cappuccino and the ice cream “Halva” as dessert. I was extremely positively surprised by the foam of the coffee 😅😂 I’ve never seen such good foam - I think they’re just not good enough in Stuttgart 😫. Plus great hygiene facilities. Basically a towel for each guest after washing their hands and then into the laundry basket 👏🏻.

We received a very friendly welcome. In general, the unfeigned friendliness and friendly service are a trademark. We also love the delicious and modern Greek cuisine served here. Today we had parts from the menu. The pork steak was tender and flavorful. The sweet potato went very well with its refried beans filling. We'll definitely be back. Delicious food, nice people, great beer garden

I would like to emphasize in advance that the Symposium restaurant is undoubtedly one of the best Greek restaurants in the region. The service is usually friendly and professional, the food is of high quality and always attractively presented. You can tell that the emphasis here is on class rather than quantity, which is also reflected in the price - but you're happy to pay it if the quality is right, and that's always been the case so far. Unfortunately, our most recent visit was marred by an unpleasant experience. The head waiter who served us was anything but professional that evening. His “cool” manner seemed inappropriate and even disrespectful to us. What was particularly disturbing was that he repeatedly rolled his eyes while communicating with us. We found this to be extremely rude and inappropriate, especially in a service profession where respect and kindness should come first. We didn't even have any special wishes or requests that could have justified his behavior. I also don't know if the long wait for the drinks was intentional, but it seemed that way, so we ended up being forced to place our drink orders directly at the bar. After the waiter apparently realized his wrongdoing, he tried to salvage the situation with fake friendliness and free schnapps. However, this didn't seem convincing, especially since he found time for small talk with other guests. In summary, we continue to appreciate Restaurant Symposium despite this incident, but hope that such experiences will not occur in the future. Otherwise, the restaurant only deserves praise, and it would be a shame if individual employees spoiled the overall picture.

The **Symposium Restaurant** in Augsburg is really a little gem! As soon as you enter, you immediately feel at home, which is not least due to the warm staff who impress with their genuine hospitality. The menu offers a wide range of delicious dishes, whether fish, meat or vegetarian - there is really something for every taste. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the preparation. Despite the proximity to the road, it is surprisingly quiet and pleasant outside between the trees. You can enjoy your meal in peace and quiet without being disturbed by traffic noise. The ambience under the trees is particularly beautiful, especially on warm days, and invites you to linger. All in all, a fantastic restaurant that I can highly recommend!

Really delicious. The feta starter is recommended. However, you don't really need the honey on it. I've been there twice and ate the same thing both times. I'm vegetarian, and there are (I think) two delicious dishes for vegetarians. The ambience inside is great, the outside could be improved a bit and made more high-quality. The staff is also really friendly, but you wait a little longer for the food. Reservations are recommended. A little more expensive.

After reading all the reviews, we had great positive expectations, but unfortunately our experience turned out to be negative. Quality, quantity and price of the food are very poor. The food is very expensive compared to price, taste and quantity. We ordered three different menus, including one with "lamb fillet skewers", which is available in a very small quantity and costs 25.60 euros, plus a side dish plus additional charge. We ordered a grilled vegetable for 7.70 euros, just two pieces of eggplant, three pieces of zucchini and two sliced ​​peppers. This means that this menu costs 33.30 euros, but the quantity was too small. For two main courses, a starter and two drinks we paid 88.50 euros, which was too much. Unfortunately, in our opinion, none of the dishes were tasty. As it is a Greek restaurant we expected more fish dishes, however there are fewer fish dishes and fewer choices overall. The staff are very nice and friendly, but unfortunately we received our food very late. I think it's a better beer garden restaurant than a fine dining restaurant. The outside seating areas are very ordinary with no table decorations but the food is as expensive as a five star restaurant. We struggled with flies and mosquitoes outside. I'm sorry that I have to write such a negative review in my entire experience. It was my birthday and we chose this restaurant which left us completely frustrated. Overall, this is our personal opinion and experience with the restaurant.

Very great restaurant, authentic and honest, everyone is very friendly here, everything is nice and clean, and the waiter was very uncomplicated, I ordered from him without a menu and was given good advice. The food was fresh and tasty. The furnishings are also modern and yet comfortable. I couldn't take more pictures, otherwise I would have photographed strangers. Maybe next time, I'll come back. A beautiful (beer) garden to treat yourself to real Greek food

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend mit sehr gutem griechischen Essen. Sehr gute Qualität in einem wunderschönen Biergarten. Der Chef begrüßt jeden persönlich und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man einen besonderen Abend verbringen möchte.wir kommen auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wieder.
