Eine sehr gemütliche Location. Es gibt keine Speisekarte, dafür aber eine persönliche Vorstellung der angebotenen Gerichte, dabei wird auf Vorlieben und Unverträglichkeiten der Gäste eingegangen. Wir waren angefangen von den Meze über Hauptspeise und Dessert bis hin zum griechischen Mocca begeistert.

So nette Besitzer, man ist sofort heimisch. Sehr leckere Küche. Im wunderbaren Altstadtviertel von Augsburg. Bitte hingehen.

Sehr kleine, gemütliche Taverne. Sehr freundliches Personal. Nico gibt einem das Gefühl, seit Jahren befreundet zu sein! Das Konzept beruht auf kleine Vorspeisen (Mezedes), Hauptgericht (nicht zu viel) und Nachspeise. Eine Karte gibt es nicht. Es wird gesagt was es zu essen gib, wie früher in Griechenland auch! Das Essen ist sehr authentisch und eine echte Hausmannskost! Kein Vergleich zu den üblichen "griechischen Restaurants" in denen es nur Fleischberge und/oder eingedeutschte "griechische" Gerichte gibt. Kurz um... echte Freundlichkeit, echtes griechisches Essen, tolles Ambiente! Wir kommen wieder!!!!

Nikos ist immer einen Besuch wert. Die Besitzer sind immer gut gelaunt, freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen und das Ambiente ist lecker und wunderbar. Eine Reservierung ist von Vorteil, da der Laden nicht groß und immer gut besucht ist. Überzeugt euch selbst von der Qualität und dem Geschmack Griechenlands in der Altstadt Augsburgs.

Service und Atmosphäre waren großartig. Das Essen war ebenfalls hervorragend. Der Wein war wirklich köstlich. Zwei Wochen im Voraus reservieren. Der Besitzer ist ein sehr charmanter Mann. Ein wenig griechische Musik im Hintergrund hätte mir gefehlt.

Ohne Reservierung hat man keine Chance auf einen Tisch und die Erreichbarkeit ist schwierig. Wenn man es aber geschafft hat bekommt man eine einzigartige Erfahrung geboten. Es gibt keine Karte, sondern es gibt verschiedene Empfehlungen der Küche (vegetarisch und fleischhaltig). Am schönsten ist es wenn man in einer Gruppe verschiedene Gerichte bestellt und dann von allen Probieren kann. Das Essen selbst ist einfach nur super lecker. Wir werden versuchen eine weitere Reservierung zu bekommen ;-)

Wir hatten die Empfehlung auf einer Geschäftsreise. Hat sich extrem gelohnt. Sehr nettes Wirts-Paar. Haben die Speisekarte erklärt. Es gibt nichts schriftliches. Man kocht das, was man frisch bekommt. Perfekte Getränke und Weine. Das Essen war super-lecker. Man sollte auf jeden Fall einen Tisch reservieren. Der Wirt Niko hat uns glücklicherweise noch unterbekommen. Komme auf jeden Fall wieder. Echte Empfehlung.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal und es hat uns gut gefallen.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Abend im Nikos! Das Restaurant ist sehr beliebt, und wir hatten Glück und konnten kurzfristig einen Tisch ergattern. Das Essen ist einfach unglaublich – authentische, herzhafte griechische Küche. Wir hatten Mezze und Hauptgerichte, und alles war köstlich. Es gibt kein festes Menü, aber genau das macht das Esserlebnis so besonders. Wir waren auch sehr dankbar für die ausführlichen Erklärungen auf Englisch, da wir kein Deutsch sprechen. Alle waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Restaurant selbst ist klein, aber ungemein charmant. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Verständlich, dass man hier wohl mehr als 5 Sterne geben würde. Alles ist perfekt und obendrein sind die Eigentümer sehr liebenswert und bodenständig. Meine Empfehlung, bei gegebenen Anlass, einfach mal alles durchprobieren. Gerne wieder!

Wer authentisches griechisches Essen erleben möchte sollte unbedingt hier vorbeischauen. Wunderschönes, kleines, gemütliches und familiäres Restaurant mit exzellentem Service. Guter Wein, gutes Essen und tolle Gespräche führen hier zu einem unvergesslichen Abend. Eine große Empfehlung hier mal vorbeizuschauen. Wir hatten eine Vorspeisenplatte mit toller Auswahl, verschiedene Hauptgerichte (welche alle wirklich köstlich waren) und haben uns dann noch einmal durch die Nachspeisen probiert. Es gibt nichts was wir nicht weiter empfehlen können! Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Man sollte am Wochenende unbedingt reservieren!

Ein absolut außergewöhnliches Erlebnis! Das Essen war mega geschmackvoll und jedes Gericht eine echte Überraschung – besonders, weil es keine klassische Karte gibt. Alles wurde frisch zubereitet und man schmeckt die Liebe zum Detail in jedem Bissen. Der Laden ist zwar eng und klein, aber genau das macht ihn so unglaublich gemütlich. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Der Gastgeber ist ultra nett und schafft mit seiner herzlichen Art eine Atmosphäre, die fast schon Urlaubsfeeling aufkommen lässt. Das Barfeeling lädt zum Verweilen ein, und insgesamt hatte ich einen richtig tollen Abend. Ich habe mich sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt und komme definitiv wieder! Absolute Empfehlung!

Bei unserem zweiten Augsburg-Besuch war eines klar: zum Essen geht's wieder in Nikos Werkstatt! Er ist über Landesgrenzen bekannt. Wunderbare persönliche Atmosphäre, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Die Küche bietet jeden Tag frisch zubereitete leckerste Speisen (keine 0815-Griechen-Karte!!!) und dazu beste Weine. Ohne Reservierung ist in dem kleinen, gemütlichen Restaurant nichts zu machen. Am besten man kommt mit einem Stammgast/Freund des Hauses. !

The phone can only be reached outside of opening hours. However, this information isn't available on a voicemail or answering machine, or anywhere else. They don't call back. You have to guess that the landline number only accepts reservations outside of opening hours.

A very unique Greek restaurant with no set menu, but the food is very good and reasonably priced. We paid €108 (tips not included) for dinner for four people, including six drinks, various tapas with bread (the chef's choice), two moussakas, and two special dishes of roast chicken with vegetables and feta cheese. It's a very small place, but it's always packed. Reservations are recommended, although you can also eat at the bar.

It was incredible! Food, drinks, service, Niko! Simply phenomenal! There's no menu, but there's a top-notch professional who knows all the daily specials by heart and gives great advice. It's a small, fine, and cute restaurant. When it's full, and I suspect it is very often, the only way out is to walk behind the counter. 😁 The tables are too small for so many delicacies! But otherwise, it wouldn't be so charming. Everything was top-notch! PS: The men mentioned a stylish restroom. You don't hear that often. 😅 Please offer more of that for the ladies as well 😉

An absolute highlight 😉 We found this small, charming place more by chance than by plan. We received a very friendly welcome, and despite not having a reservation on a Saturday evening, Nikos found a table for the two of us. The friendly waitress was there right away. We were immediately given an explanation of the ordering process. What the starters, main courses, and desserts were. Don't worry, we didn't have to remember everything 😊, it was described again after each course. The food arrived very quickly, everything was fresh and perfectly prepared. Kudos to the kitchen, too! The portions were plentiful and a feast for the eyes 😉 The friendly and cheerful atmosphere also contributed to making it a wonderful evening. We would also like to extend a very warm thank you to Niko's wife. She was always available to guests, despite the stress ☺️. We can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, run with lots of love!!! In Bistro Niko's workshop in Augsburg you feel at home right from the start. The warm welcome and the warm, cozy ambience immediately create a relaxed atmosphere in which you will enjoy spending time. Write a review for “Nikos”? No, he really doesn't need that. On the contrary, if more people come, then we have even less chance of getting a table. Because you definitely have to make a reservation at the very popular Enotek, as the friendly innkeeper with Greek roots calls his family-run restaurant. We were served extremely tasty things. A Greek restaurant that's different from the usual Greek food, and that's great. There's no menu, as the offerings are based on the freshest produce. The mixed appetizers are simply delicious - the main courses are exceptional, and the selection is also very good for vegetarians. The service is very friendly and attentive, and you immediately feel at home. It was a lovely evening - thank you for that. We'll definitely be back. A little tip - it's recommended to make a reservation in advance.

A really nice place for a great evening. Niko looks after you very well and the food in the 3 phases is really very good. We really remembered our vacation in Athens with the many different small dishes. We've been there twice now and will definitely come more often. Be sure to reserve.

I've wanted to go to Nikos for a long time because the store has a very good reputation. Unfortunately I couldn't understand the hype. The food was average, I lacked finesse in actually all of the dishes. The seating was quite cramped and it was constantly quite cold from the door. The service was very friendly, but not particularly fast and in terms of price it was certainly not the cheapest Greek place. Conclusion: you can do it, but you don't have to.

Nikos is simply an institution in Augsburg. Where should I start? It just feels like a classic Greece vacation. Nice hosts, excellent food in smaller portions that are easy to share. Good wine. A very interesting winding bar with attention to detail. In short, just a fantastic atmosphere. I always enjoy coming back. Update 9.11: Everything is still great.

This bistro-like wine bar is small and, when it gets full, cozy, which gives it a very special charm. Nikos and his team are incredibly welcoming and the food is made with love and ingenuity and you can taste it. Simply awesome!!!

Top location, sensational hospitality, a real enrichment

I actually didn't particularly like the food. Which doesn't mean it was bad. All three other people I was there with at least thought the food was good. For me it was so-so. Personally, I haven't had a dish that made me say I wanted to eat that again. But you can't please every guest in terms of taste. The service was very accommodating. The owner also has a very special manner. Very charismatic.

We had another wonderful evening today. Spontaneously found a place, lovely people around us, courteous and funny service, sensational food. Casually wonderful. I don't know of anything comparable.

The ambience and charm of the restaurant reminded us of Barcelona (fans), the food was exquisite (we are big tapas fans), value for money and service was great, the wines were very fine. All in all it was a holiday experience in the heart of Augsburg and definitely has the potential to become your favorite Greek restaurant.

Ich habe das Restaurant mehrere Tage hintereinander versucht telefonisch zu kontaktieren - es ging nie jemand dran. Offensichtlich möchte man keine neuen Gäste.

A small, very cozy restaurant with very nice hosts. The tapas were all very tasty. The main courses were also great and the desserts were amazing. The only minor flaw was the flatbread. It could have been fresher and softer. It was like something you bought from the supermarket. What I also really liked was that there was no menu, but the dishes that were available were presented orally and you then choose the ones you want. It is advisable to make a reservation and then let yourself be surprised because you don't know in advance what will be there. I will definitely come back. All thumbs up.

The little pub on our street...who doesn't know this song, and here, at Niko's workshop, life is really worth living. Wonderful people meet here, the atmosphere is relaxed, a real Greek tavern in the middle of Augsburg's beautiful old town. At Niko's workshop there is no classic menu, but there is personal "food advice" à la the chef of the house. The starters consist of small bowls, each bowl is a delight in itself. The main courses are varied, there is something for every taste and the portions are optimal and lovingly prepared. There are fantastic desserts for those with a sweet tooth. Excellent value for money, and that can no longer be said about every restaurateur here in Augsburg. The atmosphere is very cozy and the host couple is so welcoming. Therefore, the 5 stars in all categories are not exaggerated, but absolutely justified. Thank you very much for the many wonderful hours we have had with you for almost ten years now!

By far the best Greek in Augsburg. No 0815 card that you know from everywhere. Because there is no 😄 cooked what is available on the market. You have to try it!!!!

Mit zwei Freunden den Abend genossen, an dem man sich nicht durch riesige Berge vom Fleisch, Reis und Pommes Frites kämpfen muss. Dafür gibt es kleine Portionen mit hervorragenden Speisen. So ist es möglich, einige Stunden dort zu verweilen, zu reden, Spaß zu haben und immer wieder neue und frisch zubereitete Spezialitäten zu genießen. Wer große Portionen zu niedrigen Preisen möchte, ist hier fehl am Platze. Empfehlenswert!

Just a great unusual restaurant with so many details. And even though you're sitting - somewhere else you'd say it's cramped - it's totally comfortable. The service from Niko and his wife etc. is also incredibly friendly and warm. For example, you can also taste wines before ordering and get wines that you would not find in other Greeks. The way of offering appetizers as tapas is fantastic, so everyone can try more as if they only had their own food. And it tastes absolutely good. We've been to his place before and now we're happy to come to his "new workshop" for an evening with friends.
