We ordered food from this restaurant via a delivery service. After the app had indicated for quite some time that the delivery person was on their way, but the delivery still took a while to arrive, we called to confirm they had the correct address. We were told loudly and irritably on the phone that everything was correct and that delivery was imminent. Three-quarters of an hour later, we contacted the delivery service. The restaurant finally informed us by phone that they had indeed made a mistake with the address and promised us a refund. After more than two hours, the food arrived cold, and consequently, the taste was only mediocre. Furthermore, the bill was never canceled, contrary to what had been promised several times over the phone.
The quality of the food and the service were therefore disappointing, so we'll consider it a one-off experience. If you're looking for good food with good, friendly service, you should choose a different restaurant.
We were there for my father's birthday back in 2018, and last year (March 2024) we enjoyed their specialties again. A truly cozy Italian restaurant! Everyone loved the food! Excellent! Highly recommended!
Unfortunately, my visit to this kebab shop was a huge disappointment. The meat was raw and absolutely inedible. The pide was rock hard and resembled a pizza box more than fresh bread. To top it all off, the service was terrible – unfriendly and disinterested. I definitely won't be eating here again and unfortunately cannot recommend it.
There's a 50% discount on coffee between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m., but the discount isn't shown on the receipt, and we paid the regular price. This is ridiculous.
As former US soldiers stationed at Reese Kaserne, my friends and I went there for dinner yesterday. We were disappointed with the food, which really wasn't good. The chili was too runny and tasteless. The cordon bleu took a very long time and was very small for the price. The roast pork was good, but the sauce and spaetzle weren't. It was also too expensive for the large portion. The burgers weren't good for the price. You expect more from a restaurant. The room was also cold. It's a shame; with better food, it would have been a great place. I'll wait until summer when the beer garden opens.
Service:
The owner's behavior was clearly discriminatory. In Turkish, he instructed his employee to put less meat in my doner kebab – presumably assuming I wouldn't understand. Such disrespectful behavior is completely unacceptable.
Food:
The turkey was bland and dry.
The bread seemed stale and was correspondingly tough.
The yogurt and garlic sauces were okay, but nothing special.
Conclusion:
In terms of taste, this place can't hold a candle to the competition in Augsburg (Pamukkale, Onur, Lezzet, Masters of Kebab, or Edessa are leagues better). In addition, the owner stands out for his rudeness and discriminatory behavior towards non-Turkish people – apparently, simply looking "non-Turkish" is enough to be treated condescendingly. One shudders to think what he says about people who don't understand what's being said.
Overall, absolutely not recommended.
I can recommend the place but the food less so because if you order a Swiss sausage salad you get dried out cheese and you have to pay a lot of money for that.
A solid sports bar on the FC Hochzoll grounds.
The food is German and Balkan, including currywurst and cevapi.
Service is rather basic.
The currywurst with fries is highly recommended!
