Very friendly staff. The atmosphere is nice and not too loud. It's easy to have a pleasant conversation. The food is delicious, and the portions are reasonable for the price.
We discovered La Villa Ristorante by chance a few years ago. Since then, we always go there for dinner at the end of our girls' trips. Simply a great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and delicious food. We highly recommend it.
There's a 50% discount on coffee between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m., but the discount isn't shown on the receipt, and we paid the regular price. This is ridiculous.
The quality of the food and its preparation were poor (watery vegetables, sad sandwiches in the display case).
The service was brusque and slow. The tables were unclean.
A complete disaster, don't even bother ordering from there. I waited two and a half hours for one ice cream and never received it. When I inquired, they rudely hung up on me and claimed the order was canceled. It wasn't. The ice cream never arrived, the order wasn't canceled, and my money is gone! I'm filing a police report on Monday.
We went there for the all-you-can-eat tapas, but unfortunately, it was very disappointing. None of the tapas were particularly tasty – most were lacking salt and spices, and often arrived only lukewarm.
Service:
The owner's behavior was clearly discriminatory. In Turkish, he instructed his employee to put less meat in my doner kebab – presumably assuming I wouldn't understand. Such disrespectful behavior is completely unacceptable.
Food:
The turkey was bland and dry.
The bread seemed stale and was correspondingly tough.
The yogurt and garlic sauces were okay, but nothing special.
Conclusion:
In terms of taste, this place can't hold a candle to the competition in Augsburg (Pamukkale, Onur, Lezzet, Masters of Kebab, or Edessa are leagues better). In addition, the owner stands out for his rudeness and discriminatory behavior towards non-Turkish people – apparently, simply looking "non-Turkish" is enough to be treated condescendingly. One shudders to think what he says about people who don't understand what's being said.
Overall, absolutely not recommended.
I can recommend the place but the food less so because if you order a Swiss sausage salad you get dried out cheese and you have to pay a lot of money for that.
Very kind staff and the food was great! They offer a variety of toppings for the different items and also a good selection of drinks. Mexican approved!
Solid sports restaurant on the grounds of FC Hochzoll.
The food on offer is German and Balkan, including currywurst and cevapi.
Service is rather slow.
The currywurst with fries is highly recommended!
