Update: after 2 years still the best Schäufele. The cordon bleu is also excellent. Visiting Franconia again. Food still excellent. Such as venison shovels and carp fillet. If I could give it six stars I would. Great Franconian cuisine with friendly service. What more could you want? The Schäufele are awesome, all the other dishes are great too. There's really nothing to complain about. The bloodroot tasted good too!

Very nice hosts, very good food and reasonable prices. The restaurant is highly recommended. It's simply nice and pleasant to return to the little phylloxera again and again! Without a reservation it can be difficult to get a place. Went in spontaneously today, luckily got two seats and as always it was very good, fun and beautiful! 👍
