MR AN in Ansbach

We recently went to Mr. AN again, it was very full, we had three different meals, no sushi. The food arrived within 10-15 minutes, which personally seemed strange to me given the very full restaurant. It was tasty, but nothing outstanding. What really annoyed us was the detox drink shown on the drinks menu for almost €6 for 750ml. We thought that sounded good and ordered the drink for two. What came next was a carafe with tap water, mint and lime slices (it didn't taste like lime or mint) which I found expensive for what it ended up being. My request to the owner not to deceive the customers is to simply write table water with mint and lime on the menu and €3.50 will be enough.

It has worn off a lot, there are cobwebs in the shop with fat spiders, things that have been ordered are often forgotten, the toilet is absolutely dirty, but so is the floor in the shop. And in the summer we were even served really bad and rotten tuna! When it was brought up, the male waitress took it away without a word, neither apologized nor offered a small aperitif to make up for it. When making the bill, we mentioned that it is an absolute no-go for a sushi restaurant to serve rotten fish and that you should be able to (also the waiter) know the color of the fish (it was whitish + smelly a little), the tuna has its absolutely raw reddish color. There was only a succinct answer; “So the boss said, that could be because the temperatures are high” - Please what? There was no better way to say it: absolutely no attention is paid to food quality and storage here!

Had a salmon sushi platter and ramen. I would recommend the ramen. The sushi is tasty but not exceptional. However, the hot lemon drink was very tasty and the perfect drink for the cold season.😊

Food was good again. Service is okay, but what's not working at all is the cleanliness!!!! Unfortunately it gets worse every time and so this was the last time for us. Totally a shame :-(

As always, you can't disappoint when it comes to sushi in Ansbach.

High quality food and a great choice of meals, sufficient variety but still consistent. Certainly outperforms several places in larger cities when it comes to sushi and currys.

The map is a journey through Asia. Su Shi from Japan, Kimchi from Korea, dumplings from China, Pho from Vietnam, fruity sauces from Thailand. The taste of the food is also authentic. We had fried dumplings filled with chicken and shrimp. As a main course, chicken and duck in a delicious mango sauce. A great new restaurant in Gunzenhausen that is worth a visit. We will come back.

I really liked the sushi there, especially the crunchy roll with chicken was my favorite. I ordered it again yesterday and my friend and I found out at home that the meat was gray, completely rotten and inedible. Before that everything was always great, that was the first time, but something like that shouldn't happen in a restaurant and something like that has to be checked and noticed when you cook with meat and fish and especially because this roll alone costs €10. This unpleasant experience makes you lose your appetite and you no longer want to eat there voluntarily. Too bad.

Ordered to take away. Unfortunately some of the food was cooked incorrectly. So we had to wait on site. Unfortunately the other food had to get cold. The breaded chicken is the reason why the health department should really take a look. Incredibly hard as a rock and the meat itself is almost raw inside. Inedible. There was nothing to compensate for the wait.

A really great Asian restaurant in Ansbach. The quality is fantastic every time. I ate the ramen there the weekend before Christmas. Super delicious! The portion was also very large. The price-performance ratio is also very good. Any time.

Have had a lovely evening. The plastic coasters didn't work for us at all. These smell really unpleasant and are very unhygienic! Leave this. Table definitely not cleaned properly from previous guests. Several residues present. Additionally some cobwebs on the wooden elements on the wall. Unfortunately, cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. We were unlucky with our table. Sitting extremely tight. Really direct contact (back to back) with the people behind us. Tables are also way too small for larger plates. Relaxed eating is different. The taste is very good, but by no means exceptional. Service was very good Prices reasonable. Give the restaurant another chance. But then with a different table.

Food is really good and tasty. The 2 stars are because after you go to the restaurant, your clothes smell like they've been fried.

I recently visited Mr. An Restaurant with my girlfriend, and unfortunately our visit there was less than satisfactory. We had ordered dish number 170, but unfortunately we were served the wrong dish. After we spoke to the waiter and politely asked to change the dish, we were refused. The waiter's reaction was not only unfriendly but also completely inappropriate. Today: One waiter (always the same) was very inattentive and ignored me. What was particularly annoying was that I ordered something (I arrived on time after it said it would take 20 minutes) and still waited at the door because he ignored me. Even though the waiter saw me and we even briefly made eye contact, he deliberately ignored me and just kept walking. This behavior is completely unacceptable in a restaurant that is supposed to care about its guests.

The food is extremely tasty and of top quality. The best sushi I've ever eaten and the warm dishes are particularly good too. I love the mango coconut and tamarind sauce.

Everything about the food is beautifully presented and tastes good, but the service and drinks come at the same time as the food. The employees are stressed and annoyed about what is left out on the guests, you have the feeling of mass processing. There is a time window when you have to be away.... A relaxed evening with delicious food looks different for us...It's a shame

Been there a few times now. In the end I get the cheapest salad and overpriced dishes. So far nothing has been able to knock my socks off in terms of taste. But what always blows my socks off: the toilets were always an absolute disaster. Even right after the restaurant opened in the afternoon, the men's toilet wasn't cleaned. There is dirt everywhere and the whole floor is sticky. Exactly the same condition Also in the restaurant on the floor. Cleanliness is apparently only superficial and not in the toilets and sanitary facilities. Food was ok but nothing special. The service is outrageously cheeky and not even the owner sees fit to take a stand. We have now ordered there for the third time and always the same thing, no respect for the older ones, snot cheeky, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone again!!!!!

delicious rolls!!! But! the place always smells bad. the windowsills are dusty with lots of cobwebs. the upholstery of the chairs is stained with food. The ventilation in the restaurant doesn't work well. The food is delicious, but the restaurant is dirty ((( but the summer terrace is good.

Unfortunately the cleanliness in the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Cobwebs and a layer of dust on the wall decor, since the tables are relatively small and are placed against the wall, it's not exactly appetizing if the drinking glasses are right under a dirty picture full of dust and spider webs. Sushi was ok but unfortunately the sushi rolls were completely overloaded with decorations and different sauces that you could hardly taste any of the fish or the filling. Unfortunately, Mr. AN has declined in quality and cleanliness over the last few years.

I love the food there and go there regularly. Service is also top. Unfortunately a star deducted because it sometimes smells strong.

The food is delicious, also beautifully prepared. BUT the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, the placemats smell really disgusting, the table is dirty and the service leaves a lot to be desired, drinks only came after the meal, no one shows up to take drinks again when the dirty placemat is pointed out, if it is taken away and nothing is put there, no excuse. It's a shame, the shop had so much potential and at the beginning it was really great. Unfortunately, it has diminished quite a bit over time.

I ate sushi in over 100 shops from Gran Canaria to the Balkans and it was always good, but here I felt really sick afterwards 🙅‍♂️

Despite calling and reserving a seat for four people about 2 hours in advance, we were unfortunately only offered a seat outside in the rain (the whole day had already been raining). The waitress just said very rudely: "You didn't say you wanted to sit inside" Really now??? Do you have to mention when reserving a table that you don't want to eat in the rain? Unfortunately, the second service wasn't any friendlier either. There was also no apology or attempt to get another table. We can't rate the food because we preferred to get it from another restaurant in Ansbach where you are treated politely.

Absolutely crazy!!! I reserved a table and this reservation was confirmed to me on the phone. Then when I arrived the place was full and there was no reservation. The waiter just shrugged his shoulders and wanted me and my companion to take a table on the street. A busy road! Then we were also insulted stupidly from the side when we said we didn't want to sit there. Never again to this restaurant!

You have to have chutzpah to charge EUR 5.40 for a small coffee cup of warm water with 2 half slices of cucumber as a vegetable soup. When asked, he just took the cucumbers out with a spoon, looked at them and put them back in without saying a word. Sorry, sushi lovers can spend that.

Sushi is OK, but all other dishes are cooked with Maggi. I went to eat there three times to give the restaurant a new chance, but each time I got stomach cramps from the flavor enhancer. This time I ate the udon noodles and the sauce only tastes like Maggi 🤢

First of all: Rating refers to a wok dish that was picked up, not to the sushi, which according to other reviews was outstanding. The portions were rather small, the taste was good, but not special. The sauce was more than plentiful and could have been used as a soup 😅. Otherwise... fresh ingredients, no uniformity and good to-go containers.

Leider eine Enttäuschung. Das Essen war noch das Beste... Allerdings keine Erdnuss-Sauce für die Sate-Spiesse vorhanden... Hier bin ich äußerst regelmäßig— das Sushi, als auch Curry Gerichte sind sehr zu empfehlen. Die Bedienungen immer freundlich und das Ambiente ist gut. Meine einzige Anregung wäre: Normale Sushi Rollen mit Chicken. Das sind die einzigen Rollen, die ich hier vermisse.

Mr AN ist das perfekte Restaurant, um Sushi essen zu gehen. Es gibt im Umkreis kein besseres Restaurant! Mein Freund und ich gehen immer für besondere Anlässe dort hin, wir lieben das Essen! Der Laden an sich ist auch sehr schön und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Immer wieder eine Empfehlung wert!

Leckeres asiatisches Restaurant in der Stadtmitte von Ansbach. Eine sehr gute Auswahl an Sushi, es gibt aber auch für nicht Sushi-Esser eine ordentliche Auswahl an Vor- und Hauptgerichten. Das Sushi wird dabei sehr schön angerichtet. Preislich aber relativ weit oben angesiedelt.

Mein Freund und ich waren hier vor ein paar Tagen. Wir hatten am Tag davor reserviert und sind dann zu Mr AN gegangen. Ich habe mir eine vegetarische Sushi-Platte bestellt und mein Freund gebratene Udon-Nudeln mit gebackener Ente. Das Essen kam sehr schnell zu uns an und hat echt lecker geschmeckt. Zudem war der Service super freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Preis Leistung Verhältnis ist auch top.👍Einen Stern muss ich leider abziehen, da die Toiletten verschmutzt waren. Aber ansonsten bin ich sehr zufrieden.

Wir haben gestern Essen zum Abholen bestellt. Der erste Kontakt war ein sehr unfreundlicher Mitarbeiter am Telefon, der gesagt hat wir machen jetzt gleich zu - rufen sie halt heut Abend wieder an. Obwohl wir angerufen haben, um für abends vorzubestellen. Dann bei Abholung wurde mir mein Rückgeld falsch rausgegeben. Das Essen war insgesamt gut. Allerdings hatten wir rotes Curry mit Reis welches als leicht scharf beschrieben war. - es war letztendlich wirklich sehr scharf. Hätte ich das vorher gewusst, hätte ich etwas anderes genommen. Die Portion war für den Preis meiner Meinung nach zu klein.

Essen war der Hammer, super leckere Sushi. Service, geht. Bedienung hat wenig Spaß an ihrem Job. Wurde teilweise ignoriert.

Toilette 2/5 Hähnchen war sehr fettig Obwohl ich eine Woche vorher resavierst habe habe ich einen Platz neben den Toiletten bekommen wo es dunkel und unangenehm war dazu ständig Leute die an einem vorbeigehen

Food is awesome. Location near a huge crossroad is in question. Whats not in question. Is the absolute terrible service. Been there 3 times. Third was my last. Every Single time. We ve been waiting for someone to take the first order for at least 15 minutes. Drinks time you guess? No. Water. 2 beer. 1 icetea. It took them 30 Minutes every time to get us our drinks to the table. And as she did... every time.. not even taking the food order.. time for another 10 minutes of waiting. From sitting down to getting food. More than 1 1/2 hours. You better order several drinks. Cause they wont ask you at any time if you want another. And if so. You wait again.. 15-20mimutes. * the Bill please * yes... 20 minutes.. and half of the staff cant speak proper german or english. Such a shame. Cause the food is really really good.

Came here for the pho, not the sushi, and it was absolutely fantastic- great broth, presentation, and cuts of meat. My child had the gyosa and said they were very good, too.

Die Küche versteht ihr Handwerk vollkommen! Herrlich frische Zutaten, augenscheinlich in guter Qualität, werden wundervoll arrangiert, heiß und lecker gewürzt innerhalb kurzer Wartezeit serviert. Jeder Bissen war ein absoluter Hochgenuss. Der Preis für derart tolles Essen ist mehr als angemessen. Würde der Service die Messlatte ebenso hoch wie das Küchenteam legen, wäre der Besuch im "Mr An" ein perfektes Erlebnis.

Wenn man das Essen mal bekommt ist es sehr gut. Der Service ist unterirdisch. Das Lokal war nur zur Hälfte besetzt und trotzdem haben wir 45 Minuten gewartet bis unsere ersten Getränke kamen. Werden hier sicherlich nicht wieder herkommen.

Essen war sehr lecker. Wir waren draußen direkt neben der Ampel gesessen. Die Geräuschkulisse durch den Stadtverkehr war mir persönlich zu laut

Beim ersten Besuch ist die Wahl eines Gerichts sehr schwierig, aber für darauffolgende Besuche definitiv zu empfehlen. Die Crunchy Rolls und das vegetarische Sushi mit Frischkäse waren eine wahre Geschmacksexplosion!

Keine Ahnung, Essen sieht an den Nachbartischen ganz lecker aus, aber warten seit ner Stunde, nachdem uns gesagt wurde, dass gleich jemand kommt und unsere Bestellung aufnimmt. Wird wohl eher nichts mehr heute. Kellner laufen auch an einem vorbei und reagieren nicht, wenn man sie anspricht

mr an ist süß eingerichtet, jedoch etwas klein und laute geräuschkulisse. die tischsets aus gummi werden nicht richtig gereinigt und riechen nach abgestandenem wasser. der service ist eher mangelhaft, wir saßen 45min ohne getränke und wurden dann im unfreundlichen ton und mit den worten „ich will feierabend machen“ abkassiert. die crunchy rolls waren dennoch lecker!

Personal ist immer super freundlich, das Essen ist immer in absoluter Top Qualität und frisch
