If you love Franconian cuisine, this is the place for you. The bratwursts on offer in a variety of variations with potato salad and sauerkraut are simply divine. A rustic atmosphere where everything is perfect down to the smallest detail. The owner is super friendly, and she immediately apologized for the wait, which was nothing more than normal and, for us, not worth mentioning. In our opinion, anyone who wants good, fresh food shouldn't expect the speed of a fast-food joint. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there with a very friendly and accommodating manager who, despite being fully booked, always had a kind word to say and kept everything under control at all times, even though she was the only one serving. Hats off to you and keep up the good work! We'll be happy to come back. Unbeatable value for money.

The food was very tasty. We just didn't like the Feuerwurst (too greasy). Very generous side dishes. The staff was nice. It would have been even more cozy with a few mismatched decorative items. Since my review was quite positive, I find the restaurant's unfriendly comment inappropriate!! My husband and I had a great dinner here! We sat outside, which was lovely because it’s located in the centre of old town. The chicken schnitzel was amazing and my husband loved the bratwurst. We had delicious cocktails as well! We will be returning!

Unfortunately, you can't always change the location of the restaurant. It's not a big deal that people watch you eat as you walk by, but then you just have to eat inside. The service is very friendly and attentive, but they could be a bit more attentive. The food is really delicious. The portion with three sausages and a side dish was very good and very large. The cauliflower cheese patties were also delicious. Freshly prepared and incredibly delicious.

Great food, despite their menu not having such a big variety and options, but what on there comes in variety and options and everything we have when coming here tastes really yummy and even better because of the truly great service! It feels they are truly happy and welcoming even when you want to make small changes on menu. Once we weren’t able to get a table and ordered to go. When picking up the food, the waitress apologized because they ran out of something that supposed to come with the dish, and she added instead something differently. Another time I mentioned I am lactose intolerant and ordered the dish without sauce and she even went the extra mile and told the cook to give a sauce that hadn’t had cream in, even it was for a meat dish, but it’s the genuinely trying to compensate and still offer you options that we can only highly recommend Bratwurst Glöckle!

Great restaurant with great staff. The location in the old town is ideal. We had a spontaneous meal there today and I have to say that I haven't experienced such friendly staff in a long time. There was great advice and the two ladies were open to various discussions. The food was great. Our son (8) thanked us personally for the lovely evening...there was also a great dessert for him 😄. The location is definitely worth a visit. All the best to you, keep it up!

Beautiful restaurant in the old town of Ansbach, furnished with great attention to detail. The food is excellent, reasonably priced and the portions are large enough for overeaters. Here the boss cooks himself, always fresh, even with additional dishes outside the menu. Everything is spotlessly clean. The service is managed brilliantly by the boss herself. She is always friendly, attentive and always has an open ear for the guests. We stayed in this original Franconian inn 5 times during our holiday week and were completely satisfied every time. Big praise to the Bratwurst Glöckle team👍👍

I would like to give more stars, unfortunately there are only 5. Since I had something to do with a friend near Ansbach, we spontaneously went here for dinner with our dog. We received a very friendly welcome and were given a nice place to sit. The service was very friendly, quick and accommodating. The food was excellent, the prices were reasonable. The ambience was also very nice. The crocheted “beer mats” were an eye-catcher and there were a lot of interesting things to discover on the way to the extremely clean toilet. If we didn't have to drive so far (250 km), we would definitely come more often! Absolutely recommended!

We were at the motorhome parking lot by the swimming pool with our motorhome “Herbert” over the weekend. We looked at the restaurants in the city on Maps and we noticed the really great name of the restaurant “Bratwurst Glöckle”. So we called and asked if we could also order take away. This was confirmed to us. So all you have to do is march over and order. The restaurant was very busy at lunchtime. We ordered schnitzel with potato salad and the grill plate for 2. The landlady welcomed us very nicely. She was concerned that garnishes would not be possible on the take-away grill plate. But we said that the only thing that counts for us is the taste :).The landlady told us that with the rush, the order would take time. That was fine with us... So we were able to take a look at the beautiful old town in the meantime. The food was packaged great. Back in the motorhome we started eating... what can you say... It was just great. The sauerkraut with the seasoning, the great potato salad, and the meat and sausage quality were BOMBASTIC. We will definitely visit Ansbach again just because of the restaurant. To the landlady and team...KEEP UP.

A week ago, coming from Hesse, I celebrated my 75th birthday with friends at a festively set table! The food was very tasty and everyone was happy! As a native of Ansbach, I have known the Bratwurstglöckle, located in the middle of the city, since my early childhood, so - having lived in Hesse for almost 30 years - I stopped here for lunch a few years ago as a tour guide with a larger tour group. I always enjoy being a guest there!

You immediately feel at home. The inn is rustically furnished and the service is friendly and attentive. The menu offers everything you would expect from good home cooking. We had schnitzel, fish and cordon bleu, each with salad - it tasted very good. The portions were big! Plus a good selection of drinks. All in all highly recommended!
