A symbiosis between cuisine and service. The food was truly a delight! Super friendly and attentive staff. It's wonderful to see people passionate about their work. You can feel it in the dining room and the results from the kitchen. We'd be happy to return.

The Käßer family and their team hosted the celebration for my milestone birthday. I was extremely satisfied, with excellent service and very good food. I highly recommend it.

Found it quite by chance during a traffic jam on the highway at lunchtime and was incredibly impressed. Top-notch in terms of taste and service. THANK YOU for everything, and above all - "Thank God for the traffic jam." As passionate hearing care professionals, we can appreciate honest and courteous service. Very clean and friendly restaurant. We are told that for the card payment, tips should be paid by cash only. I was on my business trip in Germany for one month and I had never heard such mixed payment system. For a traveller like me, it is not handy to prepare Euro only for the tips payment.

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner. The beer garden is very cozy and quietly located in the village. Every chair had a comfortable cushion. Umbrellas and a tree provide shade in midsummer. The service was very warm and customer-oriented. The menu offers a fantastic selection of dishes, from trout to salads and hearty meats like roast beef, shoulder of pork, and steaks... Shoulder of pork 9/10 - the sauce was fantastic, the meat was perfect, falling off the bone, and the crust was nice and crispy. Dumplings like grandma's made, super tender and mushy🥰. One point deducted because it was a bit small for the price. But the quality was 100%, and that's much more important. The chanterelle salad was a 10/10 - the dressing was delicious 🤤. The potato salad 10/10 - it couldn't be better. We were thrilled with the overall package and will definitely come back when we're in the area. Highly recommended 👍🏻 Update: After the second visit, the staff was different. Unfortunately, it completely ruined the first visit. I was rudely dismissed when I asked where I (a male) could change my child. There's only a changing table in the women's restroom; I wasn't allowed in the next room, even if there were no guests. So I had to change him in the trunk in 40-degree heat. Overall, the ladies serving that evening weren't very friendly. The wine spritzer wasn't well chilled, and when I asked about it, I was met with an annoyed look. On the first visit, I was greeted warmly, and everyone had a smile. One star deducted for that. The food was excellent, though, so kudos to the kitchen.

Great food with something for every taste, a fantastic beer garden, and super friendly owners and waiters who are very attentive. Deserves more than 5 stars.

Once again, I was searching for a nice place for dinner on Google Maps on the way from Erlangen to my hometown and found the Landgasthof Käßer. Another lucky find! 3 large drinks and 3 main courses for a reasonable €60.50, and they tasted absolutely delicious 😋 Pork schnitzel with fries, cheese spaetzle with fried onions, and Carpa salad with gratinated goat cheese – every dish was perfect and was quickly prepared and served by friendly service. We'll definitely be back 👍👍👍👍👍

Dear Landgasthof Käßer, please buy your bratwursts from your previous butcher again. Unfortunately, the bratwursts served today taste bland and contain too many fatty components. Some of the insides were also not completely fried, which we also kindly complained about. Unfortunately, the “replacement bratwurst” we received was exactly the same. It's a shame, we came from Bamberg specifically to eat good Central Franconian bratwurst. We didn't hear an apology either...

A good hotel, but when we arrived, a friend’s room was dirty, not cleaned, the owner did not keep his word,...

Beautiful country inn with a hotel in a good location right next to the church. It was very positive that the church bell didn't ring between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. Great family business, hospitable and hardworking.

When I go out to eat, I usually only choose a steak, which is often a risk. Yesterday I ate by far one of the best pepper steaks. The chef must have invented medium. Simply great. Very nice beer garden, right next to the church it had a great rural feel. The food tasted excellent, the meat was cooked to perfection, and a special highlight was the very friendly and attentive service. The weekly menu with seasonal dishes was also nice, overall a nice mix of traditional Franconian cuisine with a modern touch. We had a lovely evening and would love to come back!

We had dinner here this evening on our way back home to Switzerland. Price performance 5/5. Service was very nice and special requests were fulfilled. Food super tasty and freshly cooked. Spaetzle with cordon bleu and the Swiss sausage salad are highly recommended.

Delicious food, great ambience and super friendly service

The restaurant offers upscale home cooking at acceptable prices. The furnishings are modern and new, with only a few places where the old inn still shines through. The service was excellent, although not everyone was served at the same time. The portions are good but not overly generous.

We spent an evening with our colleagues at the Landgasthof Käßer and had a really good meal. The food was very nice to look at and it tasted exactly the same, very tasty. The portion size was perfect. Overall we felt very comfortable, everyone was really friendly.

Schönes Ambiente, hervorragendes Essen und ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen!

Wir waren ausschließlich zum Essen vor Ort. Wir hatten Cordon bleu und Gänsebrust. Das Essen ist gut. Es würde vermutlich nicht so schnell kalt werden, wenn man den Nebenraum ein paar Grad mehr gönnen würde.

EIN-WAND-FREI! Gerne wieder, hatten ein sehr gutes Karpfenfilet mit gemischtem Salat und Cordon bleu mit Kartoffelsalat, beides in sehr guter Qualität und einem fairen Preis.

Das Bergbauern Cordon Bleu war fantastisch! Mal was ganz anderes mit Bergkäse und Pilzen in der Füllung. Sehr, sehr lecker! I highly recommend the Bergbauern Cordon Bleu. Filled with a very yummy 'Alpine' cheese as well as mushrooms. Really great new twist on an old favorite.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal zu Besuch und haben uns auf dem schattigen Außenbereich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das gute Essen und der freundliche und aufmerksame Service hat zum Wohlbefinden beigetragen. Ich empfehle aber eine vorherige Reservierung, es war dann doch Recht voll. Die Speisekarte ist nicht überfrachtet, aber gut sortiert und auch an vegetarisches Essen ist gedacht. Die Karpfen kann ich sehr empfehlen, sind sehr lecker zubereitet. Habe nicht übernachtet, daher kann ich zum Hotel nichts schreiben.

Das Restaurant ist schön und wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bedient! Die Qualität des Essens ist sehr gut! Es gibt leider nur zwei vegetarische Hauptspeisen und die Portionen könnten größer sein, oder man nimmt eine Suppe vorweg und ein Eis hinterher, dann passt es wieder.

Leckeres und teilweise regionales Essen, welches noch regionaler sein könnte. Preise sind okay und für die Qualität angemessen. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Die Einrichtung harmonisch und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Der Service ist nett und zuvorkommend. Super toll ist der neu gestaltete Außenbereich, welcher im Sommer einen angenehmen Abend verspricht und gut besucht wird. Tischreservierung wird empfohlen. Die Hotelzimmer sind zeitgemäß und entsprechen einem 3-Sterne Standard. Insgesamt eine absolut empfehlenswerte Location.

Tolles Essen, haben es auch schnell bekommen und der Service lässt keine Wünsche offen. Gerne wieder mal.

Der Karpfen und der dazugehörige Salat waren sehr lecker. Die Fränkische Knödelsuppe ist auch zu empfehlen. Das Weißbier/Hefeweizen ist solide. Sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre. Gerne wieder.

Feierabend im Freien genießen bei einem leckeren Essen. Auch Sonderwünsche werden hier gerne berücksichtigt. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre.

Samstags reserviert, Samstags Ruhetag .. Hätte auch am Telefon mitgeteilt werden können. Das Essen und trinken, sowie der Service ist sonst einwandfrei und lecker, ist zu empfehlen.

TOP! Und zwar ALLES! Tolle Location und vor allem wundervoller ganz neu gestalteter Biergarten. Super nette und sympathische Wirtsleute, sehr gutes und freundliches Servicepersonal und ausgezeichnetes Essen. Gut bürgerliche Küche 2.0! Immer wieder gerne und eine ganz klare Empfehlung!

Super legggaaa und richtig freundlich. Ich bin öfter da und werde immer wieder kommen. War heute mal wieder. 3.3.2022 Karpfenessen. Sie haben sich in der schweren Coronazeit nicht verändert. Liebe freundliche und Lustige Bedienung. Die Coronamaßnahmen und Kontrollen perfekt umgesetzt mit viel Lächeln und Späßchen, da macht das Vorzeigen fast Spaß!. Unser Essen kam schnell. Ja, ich lieb Karpfen, aber der Beilagensalat ist so köstlich. Nächstes mal geh ich nur zum Salatessen hin. Die Preise sind , ich glaube fast, nicht höher geworden, auf jeden Fall war mein Essen echt günstig für die Riesen Menge und dem außergewöhnlichen legeren Geschmack. Not a fan of the steak. Underseasoned and served IN what I would describe as onion soup?!? Also served with mass produced hashbrowns that only belong on a breakfast plate. Yep, I was rather disappointed.
