An honest, authentic, clean, and minimalist Italian restaurant. The service was very friendly, polite, and attentive. The selection and quality of the food offered is excellent.
The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine.
"Va bene"

The menu is quite simple, a true country restaurant. As for the schnitzels, which many order, I wouldn't order them again. They're a rather dry substance, fried in breadcrumbs. They lack juiciness and are surprisingly flattened. The prices are reasonable and affordable, and the service is warm and pleasant. The decor is purely rustic, without any frills. It needs a bit of a refresh, in my opinion.
I ordered antipasti and received a cold platter consisting mostly of pressed cooked ham and cheap salami. Even €11.90 was too much for that. The pizza bread wasn't cooked all the way through.
A beautiful old building in a wonderfully romantic old town setting. Even more beautiful than Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Anyone who doesn't know Lauf has missed the boat. 😆 Lauf really is the most beautiful town in Middle Franconia.
The ambiance is very nice. It's cozy and well-furnished, although the entrance is inconveniently located from the parking lot.
The service is neither particularly bad nor exceptionally good. Special requests were accommodated, but unfortunately, we had to wait quite a long time for our food, even though it wasn't busy.
What was most disappointing at first was the menu, which only listed two (?!) vegetarian dishes, one of which was a mixed salad—just a mixed salad with no special side dish. Essentially, a large side salad. The rest of the menu is also very limited. Anyone looking for variety won't find it here.
Aside from the meager selection, the food itself simply isn't good. Pre-made dressings, pre-made soups... cheap and poor quality at high prices.
The meat tasted good. As a vegetarian option, we ordered the baked feta cheese (a warm appetizer) as a main course, which not only arrived much later than the meat dishes but was also completely burnt!
The prices are not justified and are comparatively high.
However, the portions are very large.
A good Greek restaurant with a great menu. There's something for everyone.
My only criticism would be that the dishes aren't very seasoned, although everyone can always add more seasoning to their liking. But a basic level of seasoning should be present.
