Sehr leckeres Essen, kurze Wartezeit. Super nette Bedienungen, aber der Chef ist ohne Charme. Meine höfliche Anfrage, ob wir einen Tisch haben könnten auch ohne Reservierung wurde knurrig beantwortet. Alle Tische draußen waren nur profilakisch reserviert...

Das Essen war lecker und reichlich, der Service aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Hunde sind willkommen. Das Restaurant war ausgebucht und daher war der Geräuschpegel am oberen Level. Man konnte sich nur mit seinem direkten Nachbarn unterhalten. Eine Unterhaltung über den Tisch hinweg war leider nicht möglich. Das liegt an der Struktur des Gebäudes, daher den Punkt Abzug beim Ambiente.

Der Service war sehr gut, das Personal war gut und das Essen ebenfalls. Wenn man ein Schnitzel Fan ist , bist du im Paradies. Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist gut .

War ganz in Ordnung. Werden wenn wir in der Region wieder mal was zu Essen suchen und nicht weiter fahren wollte mal wieder hier essen.

War angenehm überrascht. Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Große Schnitzelauswahl. Es gibt aber auch andere (saisonale) Speisen. Gerade auch mit Spargel. Im Sommer dann auch mit (überschaubarem) Biergarten.

Gerne wieder. Essen super lecker, variable Menus und das Bier steht schnell auf dem Tisch.

Tolle Atmosphäre, sehr freundlich im Umgang. Fast ein bisschen wie abends nach Hause kommen. Lecker essen und trinken. Und die Preise sind auch voll ok.

Sind auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant zum Mittagessen eher zufällig dort "gelandet", wurden aber sehr überrascht! Bärlauch-Schnitzel MEGA lecker, ebenso das "Schnitzel Frankenstube". Preis/Leistung TOPP und dazu sehr nettes Personal!! Vielen Dank

Sehr leckeres Essen, nettes Personal und Zahlung mit Google Pay möglich. Service sehr schnell, Essen und Getränke wurden zügig serviert. Preise sind moderat.

For a vegan diet: not recommended, and definitely not for the Sunday menu, even for a vegetarian diet. At the time of this review, there were two marked vegan options on the menu (burger, spaghetti). Unfortunately, we weren't aware that only the Sunday menu is available on Sundays. (This is indicated on the website, albeit somewhat unclearly (“Thuringian dumplings with various roasts for lunch on Sundays and public holidays”). There are no vegan options on this menu. When asked whether it was still possible to get vegan dishes, we were referred to the potato dumplings with hollandaise sauce(!), which is definitely not vegan. At least a portion of fries was also unavailable. It would be expected that staff working in the restaurant industry should have some knowledge of dietary restrictions. We were still able to order a dumpling without sauce and a side salad without dressing. The side salad came with a boiled egg(!), even though we had previously discussed vegan options with the server and explicitly requested no dressing so that the salad would be vegan. It would be nice if there were vegan options on Sundays and public holidays, as well as employees who knew a little about what's in the dishes.

A lovely restaurant with very friendly staff. We got a table without a reservation, even though it was really busy. We were served very quickly despite the restaurant being full. Our order was taken, and the drinks and food arrived promptly. We finished paying within 40 minutes. The food was simply amazing and more than plentiful. And the price was truly unbeatable. We highly recommend it! Thanks to the wonderful staff!

Good and honest Franconian cuisine. I'd go back anytime.

Andi's Frankenstube was recommended to us. We tried it and were not disappointed. We were there during the week. The food is excellent and plentiful. On Sundays, you have to reserve a table because Andi's Frankenstube is very popular, but only on Sundays. Dogs are welcome there, too. They have a large outdoor area, everything is covered with parasols, and a lovely ambiance both inside and out. We really enjoyed it there. The service and the chef himself are very friendly.

We stopped here to refuel during a bike ride. Six of us, and everyone enjoyed a very good, delicious meal. The service staff were very friendly and quickly served drinks and food. We'd be happy to come back.

Very tasty food again and again

At Andi's, you can enjoy delicious, affordable food. It's always busy at mealtimes, which shows that the dishes are a hit with guests.

Food and service were good. We had schnitzel, which was excellent. Very good value for money.

The food was okay, nothing special, but nothing to complain about. The problem was more the one unfriendly waitress. I don't know what her problem is, but her atmosphere is simply out of place in the restaurant industry. I don't know her name, but she definitely had a ventilator in her throat and was consistently rude and unpleasant. Too bad, I don't need that on a Sunday.

Very friendly, attentive service, and the schnitzels are simply amazing. They're as soft as butter, freshly pounded, and the homemade sauces are a dream! We'd happily come back for another weekend just for these schnitzels!

Good, home-style cooking. I had schnitzel with fries and a side salad. The schnitzel was good in size and tasted good. The fries could have been a bit crispier. The salad was very good, but a bit small. The service was very good, friendly, and quick. Good value for money.

The food was pretty decent. The sauce was flavorful and the meat was tender. From the outside the shop looks like a normal snack bar, but when you walk in you are pleasantly surprised. The price-performance ratio is definitely right here.

I'm just referring to food here. The selection was very Franconian and also satisfactory! I took a grill plate with briefly fried chicken, beef and pork, fries and grilled vegetables. The vegetables were simply steamed frozen vegetables, and in my opinion the meat was also of poor quality. The dish in general was very dry and unseasoned… unfortunately. At the table we also ordered a schnitzel with pepper cream sauce and a horseradish schnitzel, where the sauces served were identical... which tasted like sauerbraten. All in all, this restaurant is an absolute tourist trap and not for real connoisseurs of Franconian cuisine.

It was super easy and quick to request a table by phone. Arrived and received a warm welcome. Prompt service and you could immediately hear how the schnitzels were being made. Recommendation: Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad! Mega tasty and the price is unbeatable at just under €12! All in all, we were absolutely satisfied and would love to come back :-) Sufficient parking spaces available.

Nice Franconian restaurant. The food is always delicious and there are also seasonal, varied dishes on the standard menu. We come regularly! Tip: On weekends you should definitely reserve well in advance, as it is usually very busy.

Unfortunately we didn't get any lunch after 2 p.m

We are currently guests at Andi's Frankenstube in Bad Rodach, at a celebration to which we were invited. Guests at this celebration also include children, including my 1-year-old son. The kids played in the anteroom of the guest room, which also has a rocking horse. It is therefore assumed that it is child-friendly, and smaller toys are also available for the children. Since the celebration started with coffee and continues until dinner, the children of course not only play quietly in their seats and tying themselves to the chair is also rather difficult!! When our son touched the mop that was standing in the corner next to the rocking horse, he was told rather unkindly that this was not a playground. All well and good. Of course it is also the decision of the restaurant operator, but is a mop also an object that simply has to be left there for guests to access? As parents, we would certainly have taken the mop out of his hands and not let him play with it. However, you can also package it a little friendlier, especially when it comes to children! Food tastes good and the service is also good and friendly. The treatment of the kids is to be criticized 🤷🏼‍♀️

Always happy if it's just for an Aperol....

We were there on October 3rd. to the TddE there. I had roast venison, which was actually not bad, with dumplings and red cabbage. As I said, the meat and red cabbage were OK, but the dumplings were a no-go. It was actually just mashed potatoes, meaning they were completely overcooked. Others use it to grease the slots on the construction site. Once and never again.

Friendly welcome, despite the fact that it was actually already coffee time, we were quickly given something warm to eat. Reasonable portions, nice service, good price. Gladly again !

It was my first time eating here. The service was quick and very friendly. The portions are enough to fill you up. The price is reasonable these days. The salad was rich and tasty, especially with the balsamic vinegar and a few croutons as a topping. My fried pike perch was crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside, the ribbon noodles were al dente, the horseradish sauce was nice and creamy and very tasty, but I would have liked a little more of it. The last pasta without sauce was too dry for me. The only other way I know Franconians is that they always serve with a lot of sauce. Otherwise I was very satisfied and will definitely come back.

Great restaurant and beer garden. Everything tastes very good. On my bike trip in August 24, the innkeepers tried tirelessly to find me inexpensive accommodation, and this worked successfully after 30 minutes. Thank you!

Unfriendly, no hot food despite the signs, they were basically sent away again. Close the shop and don't let the guests sit down first. Germany explained in two minutes.

The food was great, the staff was good, but sometimes you had to wait for your drink until you found out at the end that you had been forgotten But it can happen. Okay, the atmosphere wasn't the best, you definitely shouldn't come with too high expectations ^^

Unfortunately nothing for vegetarians... I don't understand these days and maybe it's asking too much for some restaurants... at least I offer a smart salad or pasta!? Ended up ordering the salad without tuna with fries. Unfortunately both tasted like nothing. Salad was very watery and the normal run of the mill vegetables. You can definitely do more with it. I asked for ketchup and mayo and the good and cheap tube from Edeka was simply placed on the table. I don't know, but don't people in Rodach know the simplest basics when it comes to this? Very disappointing, won't be coming back. However, staff was very nice.

Conditions and service were great even though the restaurant was busy. Unfortunately not the food. Salad carelessly prepared and the schnitzel oversalted. The request to make the fried potatoes a little darker was also not addressed.

We've been here for lunch several times. Unfortunately, for the second time out of 6 dishes on the lunch menu, 3 were no longer available. If you only get a seat at 1 p.m. and have reserved, it can't be that 3 dishes are sold out. We'll think about eating here again.

Super legga and not just the Aperol 😄

We stayed from 2/20/24 to 4/25/24 9 weeks in Bad Rodach for rehab and every weekend in Andi's Frankenstube Essen, sometimes with two, three or four people, and everyone was thrilled with the food, the service and the friendliness. The food is outstanding and everything we ate was TOP. It's a MUST for everyone who is nearby. Kind regards and thank you, thank you again for the great service and the great food.

Unfortunately, appearances had promised more. For 17.90 euros a baked schnitzel with fried potatoes, where you had to look for the fried potatoes on the plate, the schnitzel was, well, a size that didn't necessarily fill you up. For the money, there should definitely be more on the plate

Unfortunately expectations were not met!!! Schnitzel with pepper cream sauce, is that so difficult? The schnitzel was burnt, well you can put it on the bad side. The pepper cream sauce was an ordinary cream sauce, after which the pepper mill slipped out of the cook's hand. There was an over-the-top layer of pepper on top of the sauce. Absolutely inedible. There was also spaetzle. Placed carelessly on the plate, without decoration or tossed in butter beforehand. The court has done pretty much everything wrong that is possible. It's a shame, but the price/performance ratio is below ground.

Price/performance ratio is right, very good selection of food. There is no long wait for the food and, above all, you can even hear that the schnitzel is freshly prepared. Everything tastes excellent. The beer prices are unbeatable, you can't find that in the east of our country anymore and I ask myself why not. You can't really resist an ice cream sundae for €5.90. And finally, the staff.....quick, friendly and always up for a joke. From the boss to the employees, they are perfect. Thanks so much.

Delicious food, price, performance are right

We've been coming here for years. Food is always delicious, friendly service, good value for money. You can also sit outside.

We had wanted to eat here together for a long time, but it was always full when we wanted to make a reservation, so I decided that it must be very good there. We finally managed to make a reservation on a Sunday. You only have a certain amount of time to eat because then the next people come to that table. There was a selection of roasts (Sunday). I chose Goose breast with 2 dumplings & red cabbage €21. I was hoping for a large portion but I was disappointed. Unfortunately I wasn't full. But it was delicious. The ambience is really very nice. The toilets very clean.

Food was very good, waiters were friendly, we didn't enter our appointment but made it possible to accommodate our group of 17 people. Thank you again, we will recommend you and would be happy to come back.

The schnitzel was super tasty. Unfortunately, spaetzle was from a discount store. If you make them yourself, it gets 5 stars. Strammer max was also super tasty
