An absolute highlight in Munich. The schnitzel creations are varied and delicious. Everything is fresh and served hot. A beautiful, clean restaurant. The service is full of humor and heart. Prices are absolutely fair. We'll be back. All schnitzel varieties are also available as a veggie version with vegetable schnitzel.

Great food on a menu based on dishes on a breaded meat base with a choice of turkey, pork or beef, on which you add layers of toppings, whether cheese, mushrooms, vegetables, etc. All delicious and in a very pleasant atmosphere.

Very long waiting before making the order and after. For some reason you order drinks and after 5 minutes you are able to order the food. The food is ok but overpriced.

Unfortunately, the schnitzel was barely edible for us. I don't understand the reviews. We had completely relied on them. The meat was very tough, and the veal schnitzel had absolutely nothing to do with actual veal. You can tell the extremely poor quality of the meat just by looking at it. The feeling was confirmed in your mouth. Unfortunately, we must have forgotten to take pictures. Service was super friendly and attentive. However, I don't recommend the food.

A very nice concept. You choose the meat, breading and topping for your schnitzel. The food is very good and the service is quick and friendly.

The three of us were there on April 25th. Food was super tasty. I can only remember that the schnitzels used to be larger, which I personally thought was better. The service was good. we got the schnitzels after a slightly longer wait. What really bothers me personally is the seating. It doesn't invite you to stay longer because there is no backrest on the seating. So not for older people...

Wonderful schnitzel in all variations.

Well, that's fine, but you don't necessarily have to eat there. Schnitzel, schnitzel, schnitzel, if they were well fried, ok. But in the frying pan??? Otherwise totally overpriced.

Unfortunately our visit was very disappointing. After a long wait, the food only arrived lukewarm, the service was hardly present and we felt largely ignored. There was also a long black hair in my sweet potato fries - absolutely unacceptable. The drinks were overpriced at €5.40 and tasted disappointing: simple juices with a few mint leaves - neither fresh nor special. Overall, neither the quality nor the service was right. Unfortunately very disappointing for our first visit.

I was very disappointed with the vegan schnitzel. Since it costs the same as the meat version (16.90 EUR!), I assumed it was homemade. I was served a pre-fried ready-made product with a questionable consistency. The taste wasn't convincing either. The side salad and sweet potato fries, on the other hand, were very tasty. The price of EUR 16.90 was in no way justified.

Als Geheimtipp empfohlen wurden wir nicht ganz enttäuscht. Wir haben dort einen guten Abend verbracht und sind sehr satt geworden. Das Essen war auch gut, wenn auch die verschiedenen „Beläge“ doch etwas experimentell waren. Das freundliche Personal hat uns mit Getränken versorgt, wir waren zufrieden.

Good place for food and drinks. They have good beers and pretty good food. If you are a Spanish speaker, the owners are Argentinian, so it is very likely that they will serve you in Spanish. The price is reasonable in terms of quality and the good location of the place. I would only miss options for celiacs.

We recently had the opportunity to try Flat and Topped and overall it was a pleasant experience. The service was consistently friendly and attentive - you immediately felt welcome. The schnitzels with the various toppings were well prepared and tasty, but I have to admit that they didn't completely blow me away. They were solid, but we lacked a little something special to really get us excited. Another point I would like to point out is the price: at €24 for a schnitzel and a side dish, I find this to be a bit high, even for Munich. Despite these small points of criticism, we felt very comfortable and would come back. The friendly atmosphere and the attentive service make a visit to “platt und occupied” definitely worth it!

Very friendly staff and the schnitzels are really big. There is a large selection of different, sometimes unusual, schnitzel creations. Each topped schnitzel can also be ordered as a burger. The quality of the food is absolutely fine, but nothing exceptional. We were also able to redeem a B MY MUC voucher without any problems; this requires a telephone reservation in advance and announcement of the voucher when making the reservation.

We spent a great evening at platt & occupied. A great selection of food and drinks, everyone really enjoyed it. The cocktail selection is also large and creative. The hosts are very friendly and warm-hearted. Unfortunately we're not from the area, otherwise we would definitely stop by more often! Absolutely great concept and highly recommended restaurant.

If you love schnitzel, this is definitely the right place for you. You can find more than enough both unusual and classic variants here, and there are also delicious cocktails 😋💪

Unfortunately not such a nice experience. It took 20 minutes before we could order. We ordered fries, some of which were overly seasoned, but otherwise delicious. The billing also took a very long time. Long waiting times.

Simply great, guest-friendly, very good food, especially the selection with the “Cheddar Bacon” slice, it’s just amazing. The menu is also very nice with the “animals, trees”. I would be very happy if such a great shop opens in Frankfurt am Main.

We were there in the summer and sat outside. The service was very friendly. The schnitzels were delicious. The vegan/vegetarian schnitzel consists of vegetables. When it comes to toppings, you could possibly offer one or two vegan options, but otherwise the choices are actually very limited.

The best restaurant we encountered during our Munich vacation! The food was very tasty - especially it's great that you can eat a veggie schnitzel here even as a vegetarian! There is something for everyone with the topped schnitzels and the drinks, side dishes and desserts are also great. But the best thing was the service - the owner served himself and put his whole heart into it, you can tell!

Absolute recommendation! The vegetarian schnitzels, non-alcoholic cocktails and the chocolatey desserts were delicious and beautifully presented. We were served by one of the owners of the restaurant - absolutely warm and relaxed! We were served quickly and attentively and immediately received some recommendations for the rest of our vacation here! Definitely the best of the restaurants we have visited in Munich so far! :)

We became aware of the restaurant through the BMY voucher book and made a reservation online (voucher conditions according to the app: reservation). When I pointed out the vouchers in the restaurant, I was treated rudely. I had to cancel the reservation, only a telephone reservation counts and you can only redeem 1 voucher per visit. An absolute no go if you advertise with it! The food itself was tasty, but quite expensive (58 euros for 2 people without tip and voucher). However, we no longer come there because of the service.

Great restaurant with good food and nice atmosphere. The topped schnitzels are the highlight of the restaurant. Schnitzel can be made from pork, turkey, veal or vegetarian and can be breaded. You can choose the covering from a variety of options. The service is always friendly and courteous and the atmosphere is also very inviting. Dogs are welcome, children too. There is hardly any space for strollers, I think you should specify that when making your reservation. An absolute recommendation!

Admittedly not exactly cheap, but a large, interesting selection of schnitzel variations that makes the decision quite difficult 😅 and damn tasty 👍🏻 We'll definitely be back...even if the wooden benches are a bit uncomfortable in the long run and the toilet facility needs renovation.

We visited the restaurant on April 10th and loved the food. There is a selection of different schnitzel variants that can be combined with creative gratins. The turkey schnitzel with Gorgonzola, caramelized onions and walnuts is particularly recommended. As a side dish we chose fries with two kinds of potatoes and sweet potatoes and a dip. The portions are generous and ideal for sharing. The service was attentive and friendly. One suggestion for improvement concerns the soft drinks (Fanta and Spezi). Here you could possibly offer smaller, but higher quality portions. Nevertheless, the excellent food is convincing, which is why we give it 5 stars.

My wife had pre-booked a table for us. Since today is my birthday and we are visiting Munich, we thought we would eat there. Yes, apart from the service who made us wait for 20 minutes, not much happened because then we left.

The food was really tasty. There is a huge selection of schnitzels. The service was very nice. The ambience was good but not yet worth 5 stars.

Simply my favorite restaurant in Munich

I have rarely experienced such good service! I had reserved a table online and left a comment that I would like to sit by the window or in the corner. When we arrived I was asked about it straight away and another part of the restaurant was opened especially for us. The menu is huge. Here our waiter (owner of the restaurant?) took a lot of time for us and recommended a few things to us, which we then ordered exactly. The topped schnitzel are great! I had a vegetarian one - you just have to be aware that it's not a meat substitute and therefore doesn't taste like meat, but like vegetables. According to my friend, the meat was great too! We come from outside Munich, which is why it was rather expensive for us. I think it's normal for Munich. And either way, every cent is worth it! Parking directly on site is almost impossible. We stayed in the “Theresie” car park, which is quite close and the price is okay. We had a great evening and will definitely come back :) Thanks for the lovely evening :)

Local is nice and well located. However, the vegetarian “schnitzel” is simply a deep-fried frozen thing made from peas and carrot pieces that tastes like very, very cheap frozen food. Delicious with meat if necessary - I couldn't finish the veggie version. I think €30 is much too expensive for that.

The food here is very good, actually quite inexpensive for Munich compared to other schnitzel restaurants here. The topped schnitzels are definitely worth the visit! We were told right before we ordered that it might take a little longer due to a large birthday party today. We still got our food relatively quickly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and visit again.

Hallo Freunde, Heute waren wir mal beim "Platt und Belegt". Alleine die Speisekarte ist so einfallsreich. Da gibt es Schnitzel mit dem Namen "Zypresse", siehe Bild. Du hast die Wahl zwischen Schwein,Kalb, Pute oder vegan. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und kompetent. Dann die Cocktails, Rehkitz, Eichhörnchen usw. Echt super. Also wenn ihr mal in der Gegend seid, ihr wisst schon;-) Ganz klare Empfehlung Bild 1 = Zypresse Bild 2 = Gourmet

Hier gibt es leckere Schnitzel!!! 😋 Die Schnitzel schmecken hier hervorragend und liegen bei ca. 15€ pro Teller mit einer Beilage. Auch die Vorspeise war super. Das Personal ist hier nett gewesen und es hat alles gepasst. Die Sitzgelegenheiten laden nicht alle für eine Verweildauer ein, aber es war okay.

Finally some proper restaurant for my taste. I ate pultry schnitzel with pommes, tasted good and portion was great, waiter was super pleasant and cheerful which is rare to see in munich restaurant. Will come back again.

Il locale si trova nel bel quartiere di Schwanthalerhöhe, a due passi dalla metro. Il menù ha un bupn numero di proposte, in particolare di Schnitzel che può essere realizzata in vitello, pollo o maiale. La qualità delle materie prime e delle portate (presentate con estrema essenzialità) ci ha soddisfatto. Il servizio è stato rapido ed il personale sempre molto cordiale. Il conto è risultato leggermente superiore alla media: per n. 2 Schnitzel con contorno, n. 1 Schnitzel baby, n. 2 birre alla spina da 0,3 l, n. 1 bottiglia d'acqua abbiamo speso € 72,10. Come sovente accade in Baviera, non abbiamo apprezzato che una bottiglia di acqua da 0,75 l costasse ben € 6,90. Consiglio comunque questo locale.

Diesen Laden werden wir nicht mehr aufsuchen. Beilagenänderung statt kostet z.B schon 1,50€ pro Person, wenn man von Pommes auf Kroketten tauscht. Cocktails bestehen nur aus Sirup ,total süss. Schnitzel Menü nicht akzeptiert, da innerhalb der happy Hour bestellt. Von Ausschluss dieser Zeit steht da nix. Schnitzel okay, aber insgesamt total überteuert

Update: Leider war dieses mal der Besuch ziemlich langatmig. Der Service hat sich viel Zeit gelassen, das Essen hat von der Bestellung an 45 Minuten zum Tisch gebraucht. Viel Geduld ist hier einzuplanen. Das Essen hat leider auch dementsprechend geschmeckt und war eher lauwarm als frisch. Ich hoffe das wir nur einen "schlechten" Abend erwischt haben. --- Super leckere Schnitzel, in allen Variationen. Personal auch super nett und sehr schnell!
