Kebab unfortunately soggy bread, despite little sauce, it wasn't “bit spicy”; Vegetarian Dürüm also unspectacular, just dry salad and a little cheese. Fries ok; 3 stars for food only because it wasn't inedible, but good kebab or Dürum is unfortunately different.
Ordering by phone went smoothly. BUT unfortunately no card payment, only cash (2025!?) therefore service 2 stars
The furnishings are very simple and unfortunately not as nice as their predecessors. The tables are very small and do not invite you to stay for a long time. Groups with more than four people or an additional person with walking difficulties are at a clear disadvantage here.
Unfortunately, the current boss wasn't very accommodating; the financial advantage seems to take precedence over the customer's wishes. The food didn't come, so I can't say whether that was lucky.
I had the BeeStong pizza which was a bit burnt but really tasty! In terms of taste, they really didn't promise too much, but the price for the pizza was simply too high when you consider the "material used" (simply dough, tomato sauce, cheese and five wafer-thin slices of salami).
Check-in and bar staff were super friendly and nice, the only drawback was that there were 2 spiders in the room that were definitely in there for a long time, one that couldn't be overlooked on the curtain at the top left and one on the ceiling above the bed. On the check-out day, the cleaning staff knocked on the door at 10:40 a.m. and five people stood in front of our room and said I had to clean even though check-out wasn't until 11:00 a.m. That was very unpleasant for me and where we left there were 5 of them standing there and waiting until we left the room.
I didn't experience it in other hotels in Dinkelsbühl and I stayed in different hotels there!
We actually ate in the Vitus Cave twice during our short vacation.
The pub/restaurant is really very authentic...
Friendly service, good selection of burgers and much more. Good cider. The portions are generous, so I had the rest of the spare ribs packed.
Our dog was also very welcome there.
We didn't have to make a reservation.
We will definitely come back the next time we visit Hopfen.
Simply furnished restaurant, the selection is very manageable - but they serve really good pide. Very friendly staff and the products are also prepared fresh and quickly to take away.
If you would like to eat delicious food in a friendly environment, not stylish but in a kind of cozy Armenian living room atmosphere, this is the place for you.
Everything is prepared with a lot of love and originality.
Great tasting food, lovely waitress, pretty quickly served. Downside, cold breeze was freezing inside! Cola-weizen was ice cold, too, and more Cola than weizen. I liked it, but just a warning to our German friends. The ribeye was good quality meat, and tasty!
Very authentic, great food and Raffaella is just adorable and really cares about her guests. You feel at home, well cooked and cared for. We're always happy to come back! :)
