Ristorante VI VADI Cucina Italiana in München

We arrived in Munich, cold and tired, but fortunately we were warmed by the warm welcome and excellent food at this intimate and intimate restaurant. A small number of tables were served by true Italians, with refined, intense, and flavorful dishes, such as the two risottos, one with citrus fruit and the other with peasant-style sauce, which fully satisfied our very discerning palate. To top it all off, a delicate tiramisu. We will gladly return to enjoy the other dishes. Happy New Year!!!

Went at 9:30pm on a weekday, ordered the tagliatelle bolognese which was okay (nothing special, had better before) and a vegetarian pizza that was very low quality, almost like a frozen one. I wonder if it really was? It was not freshly made though I am sure. Servers were welcoming. Ended up leaving sad…and paying almost 60€ which was overpriced for our experience :-(

Great food and very authentic vibe.

When I arrived, I was greeted by one of the employees who disposed of his cigarette practically right at my feet on the sidewalk. That's completely unacceptable.

Good service, but nothing special with that one. Tasty food, but maybe a bit overpriced compared to local levels and quality. Bread on the house.

An ordinary restaurant, a basic spaghetti dish for €22, €6 for a bottle of supposedly mineral water (but not opened in front of us). It's not a bad place, just very ordinary.

Went only for a coffee but they were very friendly, treated me as a full guest, and I got a good coffee, too.

I was in Munich for a few days and found Vi Vadi restaurant one evening while searching on Google Maps. It was fantastic. The phone call when I asked about a free table was simply perfect. Friendly and polite. The restaurant's ambiance was very good. The service couldn't be better. The food was excellent. The prices were moderate and reasonable. I'll be back next time I'm in Munich.

Everything was delicious. Only a couple servers who are kind and friendly but can be a bit slow when crowded. Food was great. Salad robust and well dressed. Soup hearty and flavorful. Both good for a cold or wet night, same for the Arrabiata which has just the right heat for a change of pace from the local Bavarian cuisine. Pizza was superb, well topped, extremely hot, good carriage and crunch, and leftovers held up well for a late night snack. It'll be a return for me in Munich.

Classic Italian restaurant, great food

The staff is very friendly and speaks Italian, which is a real pleasure when you're abroad. The pasta is really well cooked and seasoned. The portions are generous. Prices are in line with the cost of living in Monaco.

10/10 pasta. I don’t know what else to say, felt like I was in Italy. When asking for water- ask for “table water” and not “still water” that was my bad. Otherwise highly recommend their carbonara and truffle pasta.

Best meal we've had during our travels! I love bruschetta and this was delicious. We split an entree (ravioli with cheese and pear) it was wonderful!

On August 12, 2025 Getting an authentic Italian pizza at this restaurant was very...disappointing! That was the worst pizza we've ever eaten! Once and never again! Suitable for tourists, but not for us taste connoisseurs in Bavaria. I would have loved to give it a "0" rating because we were very annoyed. "0" taste of cheap cheese rags!

Contrary to usual, we went to an Italian restaurant abroad, chosen for the possibility of gluten-free food, and instead we found a good choice of food and friendly, perfect service, so we went back several times, thanks to Ruggero and all the staff. Massimiliano from Florence

It is my birthday. I want to celebrate here . I order ribeye steak. First time the steak is overcook. Second time the meat is raw. Very disappointed

Very friendly staff. Unfortunately, the Bolognese and the pizza weren't that tasty; they were rather bland. The soufflé was unfortunately not runny in the middle and was rather average. Very disappointing for the price. The bruschetta and the truffle pasta were delicious.

Very good Italian with friendly service. The saltimbocca was really delicious, but unnecessarily large, which is why the price is high.

The food was OK, not particularly cheap, but we were served pretty quickly - and that was the goal - to have a quick bite to eat before the train ride.

On our last night in Munich (honeymoon) and after an 11 hour trip to 'The Eagles Nest' we decided to stop for some authentic Italian. We were very happy with our overall experience. Risotto with Beef / Pasta Ragu both delicious and ended with a chocolate cake warmed with vanilla ice cream. Quality food, reasonable prices, good atmosphere and very friendly service. Highly recommend.

Oh, mio dio! The food was not only authentic, it was fabulous and staff were all delightful! If I lived anywhere near here, I would be a regular at this place! I know that coming to Munich means trying German food (and we ate our fair share) but if you want something different, you can not go wrong here! We ate here a few days ago. My mother had a delicious pizza with a crispy base. I had the risotto with saffron. Unfortunately, this pizza was not tasty. I did not like the taste. The service was very friendly. Too bad the risotto was not tasty, otherwise we would definitely have come back here again.

We were looking for a good restaurant near central station and had a 6:45 train to catch. What a great find… of course we eat early so the restaurant we just us four (4) and wasn’t disappointed… from the salmon 🍣 tartar to the shrimp and spinach risotto…plus has gluten free pasta for one of the guest… everything was fresh and service was spot on.

The owner and the Sardinian waiter were very welcoming and friendly. Quality food, truly Italian!!!! The gluten free first course is also good.

Best Italian restaurant in all of Munich!!

The place is a bit run down, there was a piece of wood, which looked like a door to me, blocked by the bar seats right in front of the entrance door... the staff spoke to each other loudly and clearly, as is natural among Italians. The food was reasonable, one of the pasta dishes was a bit too acidic. Not to be recommended.

The location is good for sightseeing on foot. Perhaps because it was the last room, the wifi didn't work so I thought I was going to explode and die. Breakfast is for 2 people, but only one person per room is provided for free. Parking at the main doctor's office across the street (€15/day)

Loved this place! Superb food and the best and super friendly and fun service. I was stretching my neck a little, as I had slept badly and Saverio gave me a neck massage! You don't get that in many restaurants. Our other sever Rugero joined in the fun too. Definitely a place and night I'll always remember.

We went there on Valentine’s Day and we had an amazing experience. The place was very cozy and romantic and the food and service were amazing. Would totally recommend!

We visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening, children's meal was there, the waiter didn't tell us that we paid for the pizza for adults, they don't give menu card for children and coke has no gas, resortho is not cooked, I paid for the coke that I didn't drink,

The restaurant is beautiful and cozy. The decor is classic and tasteful. The indirect lighting and lit candles make the atmosphere very pleasant. The service was excellent. All the waiters were very kind and polite. The cloth tablecloths and napkins make the service very neat. Everything is impeccably taken care of. The four dishes we ordered were good, but nothing special in terms of flavor.

It's clean, the staff is friendly, and we provide a comfortable bed.

We were at dinner on 14.12.'24. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing, and the waiters, who are Italian by the way, are friendly, unobtrusive, even hum occasionally, but they are always there whenever you need them. The food was excellent! I ordered a vegetarian pizza, and my wife even made a dish of her choice (chicken schnitzel with white wine and lemon), an excellent salad, tiramisu... Everything was delicious. And I have to write this: I occasionally work as a pizza delivery boy in a pizzeria in Austria, the pizzas are great, but I ate the most delicious pizza so far in this restaurant. €100 for two starters, two mains, two desserts and three drinks and excellent service is quite fine for Munich. We regret that we did not leave a bigger tip, because at the moment we only had "bigger" banknotes. It is possible to book online three months in advance. Really, all recommendations.

A group of 6 of us were in town for Oktoberfest. The owner was VERY accommodating to us. Even when we added 2 more chairs to the table after we sat down. We had about half the items on the menu and all the food was incredible! The wine selection was not overwhelmingly large, but the wines were a great match! The atmosphere was great too. I travel to MUC for work and will be recommending this restaurant to my colleagues. If you love Italian food, this is a no-brainer! Grazie !!

The service staff was very friendly, the food was unfortunately too expensive for the quality, I had truffle pasta, the pasta was too soft, there were truffles in it, but hardly any truffle taste. The drinking glasses were not clean.

Ambience and food ok. Highly priced as usual in Munich. What is not normal, however, is that there is an extreme level of noise in the restaurant when the house is full. Suggestion: Possibly install sound absorbers on the ceiling.

Overpriced. We paid 75EUR for 2 appetizers and 2 pastas. With wine and water, we ended up paying 110EUR for 2. The food was average for the prices we paid. 20EUR for pasta pesto would have been ok if they had been using premium ingredients but they didn’t. The taste was bland with a weird sauce that had little to do with a fresh pesto. The mixed antipasti for 15EUR included 3 slices of zucchini 3 slices of eggplant, 3 slices of tomato mozzarella (without basil) and too many mediocre green olives. The rest of our order wasn’t better. Basically, the food se got should have cost $50 and not $75.

I did not go to Munich to seek out Italian food, but this was a conveniently located restaurant, so why not. We were very pleased with an authentic menu, attentive service, and charming staff. I ordered veal piccatta, to me an acid test for good Italian food, and Vi Valdi Cucina really came through with presentation, preparation, and flavourful. A risotto and a pizza were excellent, as were the desserts.

Excellent service and average food, but the prices perhaps a little disproportionate

We had a soccer tournament in Sendlingen with 10 year old boys and were looking for a restaurant the evening before. Luckily we came across this Italian. Everyone really enjoyed the food, it all came to the table so quickly - we hadn't expected it at all. The waiters were all super nice and the guests also understood our large group of 30 people. We can highly recommend the restaurant and thank you for allowing us to come and eat with you. We'd love to come back next year ☺️

The food is very salty They served the customer incorrectly, as if they didn't remember what the customer ordered, and then asked for a tip... He said… The manager even spoke very loudly while the customer was eating. When I looked at the receipt later, I saw that the drinks were the opposite of my friend's;; I felt bad. I hope you do your job properly and ask for tips.

Good Italian food. Perfect for business lunches. We go here regularly. There is also a lunch offer. However, in my opinion, the price-performance ratio is not suitable for private evenings. But that certain something is missing when it comes to food.
