Hündeleskopfhütte - die erste rein vegetarische Hütte in den Alpen in Pfronten

What a location! The Terrace is absolutely heavenly and the wooden hut looks fresh out of a Heidi film. The love and attention to everything is clear wherever you look. I had a most delicious Hüttenwrap. The vegetarian/vegan philosophy is a refreshing change to the ‘standard’ that is found in most the huts in the area. An unexpected closing highlight was having to go over to Grandma to pay. ;-)

A really great clocky hut. Great food even for non-vegetarians. Great view. Simply fantastic in winter.

The Kaiserschmarrn was good and was freshly prepared although it wasn't on the menu (it's not always there) but it wasn't one of the best I've eaten. The zucchini lasagna was more of a vegetable casserole without pasta sheets and very dry. Probably from warming up. As a vegetarian, I think the idea and concept is great, as it is quite difficult to find vegetarian dishes in the huts, but the food is not completely convincing. Very unfortunate.

The hut is small but very cozy. Since the vegetarian offerings on alpine pastures are very limited, I was pleasantly surprised when I heard about the overall vegetarian concept. Unfortunately, the vegan lasagna wasn't that convincing, the Kaiserschmarrn was okay.

Beautiful rustic mountain hut with nice people. The food is delicious and prepared quickly. Self-service and at the end You pay with a grandma who has made herself comfortable in the hut. I enjoy coming here every holiday. Thank you for the trust you have placed in us.

We were traveling with our dog and were given a very friendly welcome! The place is cozy, with a lot of attention to detail... you immediately feel at home. We will definitely stop by again at some point and enjoy such good vegan food. 🌿

Very tasty food with a beautiful view. We pre-ordered vegan cheese spaetzle, which were by far the tastiest we have ever eaten.

A very nice hut. Unfortunately our wrap was only filled with iceberg lettuce. The taste was ok, but the vegetables were completely missing, as stated in the menu. 12.50 euros is too much for that. The Bergler bread was very small and almost without any garnish. 6 euros for this is too expensive. The bread tasted very good.

We took a wonderful break on the mountain pasture. The food and drinks were perfect after the climb. We would hike to this alpine pasture again at any time, especially because of the vegetarian and vegan options. It was very tasty! The staff was super friendly and we felt very comfortable.

Super nice hut with a great location. Warmest recommendation for everyone! The food was very tasty and the landlady is very nice, you feel very comfortable here. There are opportunities for the children to play and a high chair. Neat and clean toilet.

It may be that many people would like to jump on the vegan bandwagon. But once again, as is often the case with vegan paternalism. Why can't I choose what I want to eat? And then at these prices. It's a shame about the beautiful hut

We cycled up, which was quite an effort. The hut is mega and very rustic and has a friendly staff who were able to handle the rush. Recommended again at any time

The food is good and it's great that there's some vegan options. If everything is regional and freshly prepared, the high price for the food is justified. I think the drink prices are totally exaggerated. 4.50 and self-service for beer is already steep. The view is of course fantastic.

Grains were burned. We waited >1 hour for us to eat. Not good

Silli and Lucky welcomed us like family. We ate the zucchini lasagna, the cheese sparrows (in “small”) and the lentil soup. And what should we say? As a small farewell greeting there was a vegan chocolate cake and a glass of vegan chocolate mousse. We'll be back soon!!

Very beautiful, small alp with a lot of original charm. Great view, nice service from “Grandma” and very tasty food. The alpine lentil soup is great, a taste bomb. It's worth a visit. We liked it very much. 😃👍

Very nice alpine hut with vegetarian and vegan dishes. The climb through the forest is steep and leads over many roots and stones - not suitable in bad weather. The other route leads along an asphalt road. From the parking lot in Kappel to the hut it takes about 60 minutes and 280 meters in altitude.

We parked in the town's hiking car park and then walked up for about an hour. Very high incline in between. Beautiful view. Everything we ate was completely vegan. 🌱

Only vegetarian? Oh dear, not for me and that's a reason not to go there anymore, but there are enough people who don't eat meat, I find it provocative towards meat eaters.

Discovered by chance while hiking today. I think it's great that there is only vegetarian and vegan food. Had the vegan chocolate cake, it tasted very good. In addition to the good selection of food and drinks, you also have a great view from the terrace. I would be happy if other huts would follow suit and avoid meat.

I discovered the hut through a Facebook group and just had to go there, even if it sounds strange because there is a house dog :-).And tata the dog is awesome. Now to the hut, I'm an absolute carnivore but the vegetarian food was super tasty. We had the wrap and the Kaiserschmarrn. The employees and the boss were very nice and friendly. The hut is really cute. The hike is also great for holiday hikers, the first part is a little steep but you are not on the run. Definitely worth it. We will be back definitely.

The hut is comfortably furnished. The food was prepared very quickly and tasted very good. The service was attentive and friendly. The menu is very varied. The house lemonade was also very good. Our dogs were also welcome.

The food is very tasty and definitely recommended, but at a price of €15.50 per person there is very little portion and you will go home hungry. Don't think it's okay.

We've heard a lot about the first vegetarian hut, so we really wanted to go here. We went hiking first and then went to the hut for lunch. The view was incredibly beautiful ☀️ The food was okay, but unfortunately not as outstanding as expected. We had the vinegar taste in our food twice! It's a real shame, otherwise it would have been really tasty... Unfortunately, the landlady wasn't really welcoming either

Nice short mountain hiking tour! The stop is a must in every respect. Plus the mountain view... what more do you need?

The food is delicious and highly recommended, but every time we go there something is off. Sometimes the bread, then specials, then mineral water. Last time we had to pay 3 euros for a glass of tap water. We found that a bit outrageous. But we will come back because of the good food, just bring our own drink.

Super nice service, delicious food and, above all, vegan selection. People like to come here on the way there or back on the hiking tour.

Super Aussicht bei leckerem Essen und das zu fairen nzw. günstigen Hütten-Preisen. Ein bischen eng aber urgemütlich wie es sich für eine Hütte gehört.

sehr schöne Hütte, vegetarisches Essen tolle Aussicht. Der Aufstieg lohnt sich und für den Spaß Retoure ist auch gesorgt. Da kann man dann mit dem Schlitten ins Tal rauschen.

Sehr schöne kleine uhrige Hütte mit sehr sympathischer Hüttenwirtin! Wir hatten Glück und haben einen Platz bekommen! Ich habe ein Pakistanisches Gericht mit Kartoffeln und Spinat gegessen, war sehr sehr lecker! Man kommt recht leicht zu der Hütte und hat einen schönen Ausblick!

Grandiose Aussicht mit noch besserem Essen! Die Hütte stand schon lange auf meiner Liste, da ich eine Glutenunverträglchkeit habe und mich vegan ernähre. Die Lasagne war ein Traum -absolute Empfehlung!🥰 Es wird alles frisch zubereitet und mit sehr viel Liebe hergerichtet. Definitiv nicht mein letzter Besuch.

Achtung frei laufende Hunde (!) Wir sind extra heute zur Hütte hoch gewandert, Innenraum brechend voll, dazu noch 4 frei laufende Hunde innen und außen in / an der Hütte!!! Wir hatten unseren eigenen Hund auch dabei, natürlich mit Leine und Geschirr! Und mussten dann vor dem Hund der Hütte flüchten, der unserem Hund gedroht und nachgestellt hat! Wir hätten die Hütte gerne getestet aber sind dann lieber zur Kappele Hütte gelaufen, die wesentlich gesitteter war.

Sehr gutes Essen, klar man braucht etwas Zeit, aber da frisch gekocht wird muss man damit rechnen. Wir hatten die Kässpatzen die sehr lecker und gut gewürzt waren. In der Wartezeit kann man die Aussicht genießen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder 😊

Sehr gemütliche Hütte mit super netter Betreiberin. Wir waren mit unserem Sohn (1 jahr) zum Mittagessen da und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war sehr lecker.

Sehr leckeres Essen, -vollig ausreichendes Angebot, -sehr freundliche "Hausherrin", - es wird Alles frisch zubereitet, - und die Alm ist sehr schön. Der Weg rauf lohnt sich 👍

Finde es echt stark das es eine vegetarische Hütte ist. Aber widerrum schade, das man die veganen Kässspätzle vorab bestellen muss...hat jetzt leider 2 mal nicht funktioniert...aber immerhin gibt es die Option :)

Von Herzen sehr zu empfehlen! Das Essen ist liebevoll angerichtet und schmeckt super lecker. Der Service ist unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Wir waren rundum begeistert - vor allem von der veganen Zucchini Lasagne. Der Aufstieg hat sich definitiv gelohnt und wir werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen :)

Auf verschiedenen Wegen gelangt man zur Hütte, aus Pfronten-Kappel jeweils in einer guten Stunde zu schaffen. Oben kann man bei leckerem Kuchen oder einer großen Auswahl vegetarischer Gerichte die tolle Aussicht genießen. Getränke nimmt man sich selbst aus dem Kühlschrank, so muss man nicht lang warten. Dort gehen wir sehr gerne hin!

Endlich eine Hütte mit veganen Speisen. Super lecker alles frisch zubereitet. Die selbstgebackenen Kuchen, ein Traum. Sogar den Cappuccino gibt's mit Hafermilch. Das Konzept ist klasse und alles sind super nett. Dazu noch der atemberaubende Ausblick ins Allgäu. Sehr zu empfehlen auch für nicht Veganer. Tiere gibt's es zum Glück nicht auf der Speisekarte. Sehr schön. Die dürfen sich ihre Lebens erfreuen.

Ein Beispiel dafür, wie sich Qualität und Preis gegenläufig entwickeln können. Die Hütte hat eine gute Lage mit Blick ins Allgäu. Service ist quasi nicht vorhanden, Getränke holt man sich selbst, Essen wird am Fensterle bestellt. Die Preise stiegen so wie die Mengen kleiner geworden sind. Das trockene Brot zur Alblinsensuppe hätte jedem Gastronom mit nur einem Gastro-Gen die Schamesröte ins Gesicht getrieben. Hinterm Haus schauts aus, als ob ne Bombe eingeschlagen hätte. Könnte einem egal sein, kann aber auch ein Spiegel der Küche sein... Kann man mal machen, wenn man nur was Trinken möchte...

Habe einen lecker - bekömmlichen Hütten-Wrap hier gegessen. Der Service ist persönlich-zugewandt. Die urige Alm liegt am Waldesrand und bietet einen schönen Panorama-Blick auf die umliegende Bergwelt.

Incredibly nice place, the owner Silvia is a lovely lady who takes great care of her guests and cooks fantastic food. There was a great variety of vegan options, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had vegan Käsespätzle and a Zucchini Lasagna as well as Flädlesoup, lentilsoup and two salads. I can highly recommend going here.

Wir haben uns sehr gefreut, im Allgäu ein rein vegetarisch/veganes Angebot zu finden. Und es war sehr lecker!

Unser Lieblingsplatz! Wir lieben die veganen Speisen sehr! Lässig! Entspannung garantiert nach einem schönen Aufstieg! Im Winter kann man runterrodeln - im Sommer tragen die Glocken der Kühe zum extra Alpenflair bei, top!!!

Absolut empfehlenswert, wirklich überragend leckeres Essen! Auswahl klein, aber dafür sehr sehr fein. Wir hatten die Kässpätzle und den Wrap. Einzig: wir waren überrascht, dass der Wrap kalt ist. Achtung: Innen hat die Hütte nur wenige Sitzplätze, außen genügend. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Смачна їжа, все з регіону та за сезоном. Для дітей е багато іграшок і пісочниця. Підйом - простий, можна навіть з коляскою . Рекомендую!

Rein vegetarisch/vegane Küche, absolut empfehlenswert

Liebe das Konzept - vegetarisch und vor allem vegan in den Bergen zu finden, ist so schwierig! Hier ist es super lecker, schön und vor allem leicht zu erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Familiäre Atmosphäre zum richtig wohlfühlen. Der Hüttenwrap schmeckt köstlich, auch die Kuchen sind sehr gut. Und der Ausblick einfach schön: Allgäu auf der einen, Berge auf der anderen Seite. Hunde sind willkommen!
