A great start to our vacation. A cozy and informal restaurant. A warm and hospitable welcome. The food was delicious! Unfortunately, we were just passing through, so we wouldn't be back.

We stopped by for coffee and cake after our hike. You can't go wrong. The apple strudel was beautifully presented and delicious. The coffee was excellent.

Simply delicious food, cozy and modern furnishings, and fair prices.

1 adult and 3 children: The food and service were okay, but quite expensive for what you get. The tables and chairs outside were really worn out, and the seat cushions were even worse. They should invest in some new furniture...

The apple strudel with vanilla sauce was absolutely delicious.😋 Lovingly 🤗 and artistically 🧑‍🎨 prepared. Hard to beat. The service was also very friendly and accommodating.😍 Highly recommended.🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝

We decided to visit "Dorfgschwätz" for the first time today on a whim, after having already glanced at the menu online. We were here late in the afternoon and got a table outside without a reservation – wonderful, the weather was perfect. We both opted for the vegan currywurst with fries and a mixed salad. Awesome – we loved it! The highlight, however, was the vegan dessert – you really can't miss it – yummy ♥ ♥ A big shout-out and thanks to the kitchen and the very attentive service – we'll definitely be back soon!

We were there for coffee and dinner: The coffee and cake were delicious, and the schnitzel was the best we've ever had! Very reasonable prices, great service, and a lovely atmosphere – a definite recommendation!

I had the chili burger and it was the best I've ever eaten and the potato patties were next level, mrga crispy, the staff were really nice, definitely a 5 star recommendation

We ate here for the first time, and let's start with the positives... a lovely, friendly restaurant, very friendly service, interesting menu... ... I ordered cabbage fritters, and the outer layer of the dough was rock hard in places because it was completely dry. When I tried to explain this to the young employee who asked me whether I enjoyed the dish while clearing the dishes, he visibly rolled his eyes and told me to clean it up, then added a "thank you" as he left... without letting me finish and without allowing any further communication. That is highly unprofessional, presumptuous, and arrogant... ... although the other dishes were indeed very good and the colleague of this consummate professional is very nice and friendly, we will not visit this restaurant again and will not recommend it to anyone! Good restaurant staff should have at least a basic level of social skills and be able to accept criticism.

I had Allgäu cabbage fritters with salad and a strawberry lemonade to drink. The salad was super fresh, juicy, light, and went perfectly with the fritters. The fritters, along with the glazed onions, tasted incredibly interesting and delicious—slightly sweet, slightly sour, and crispy on one side. And they were really filling! (I even had to have the last one packed up.) The food here was truly something special, something you can't get everywhere, and certainly not this tasty, and vegan, too. The servers were all very friendly and relaxed, and when the weather's nice, it's a great place to sit outside. Highly recommended. Be sure to stop by Dorfgschwätz if you want to eat out in Pfronten!

The service was quick and courteous. Portions are sufficient and measured just right. Seating both inside and outside. The atmosphere outside is nicer and you can enjoy a great view of the mountains.

Very cozy restaurant with comfortable armchairs and a great atmosphere. The menu has everything you could want, whether meat or vegetarian, wine or beer, everything is there and everything is delicious! The cheese spaetzle was very intense with a generous amount of onions and the Kaiserschmarrn was absolutely perfect! The service is excellent, competent, friendly and courteous! On Friday we spent the evening before our wedding celebration with around 60 guests in Dorfgschwätz. The organization in advance was super uncomplicated and everything was great on site. Super nice and attentive service and very tasty food. Our guests also really enjoyed it. Many thanks to David & team. It was a great start to our wedding weekend. We'd love to come back ☀️

We truly enjoyed our experience at "Dorfgschwatz" in Pfronten. We came here for the pancakes, the famous "Kaiserschmarrn" which was extremely tasty. It was a good portion, and most importantly, it was so delicious. You can have it with vanilla sauce and/ or apple compott and/ or vanilla ice cream. We also loved the homemade lemonade. Totally worth a visit! Also, the atmosphere is nice and cozy, and the service extremely friendly - especially Maria who served us with so much kindness and attention to detail. Thank you so much for a great experience!

We had a really nice stopover on our walk through Pfronten with coffee and Kaiserschmarrn. Definitely the most beautifully prepared Kaiserschmarrn I have ever eaten. And super tasty too! Very friendly staff, always quick to help. 😊 We are already looking forward to the next visit.

A nice Bavarian style restaurant. Large and, above all, delicious food selection. Prepared and served with love. Service was very nice and not intrusive. There were no waiting times either, even the food came quickly. I would come again!

We haven't had such a delicious and tender schnitzel in a long time. Very large portions. Very friendly staff. We had Wiener Schnitzel and Jägerschnitzel as well as a beer and a large Spezi and had a bill of 40.40 euros plus tip.

A very tastefully furnished, small restaurant that should not remain just a village chatter, but should be made known nationally. We ate and drank very well, we cooked ourselves and no preparatory food was offered, you could taste it straight away! Every star is deserved here, we recommend it and would be happy to come back!

The ambience of the establishment stands out pleasantly from the classic taverns. For dinner we chose a mushroom risotto and the crispy chicken burger. The risotto with lots of mushrooms was fluffy, but the grains still had a slight bite. Perfect! The chicken burger was very tasty, very crispy, the sauce was spicy and spicy. There were also crispy potato slices. Top! Certainly not the last time there.

A very nice place that can be used as a café, bar, pub and simple restaurant. Great ambience, very harmonious colors and cleverly placed between solid wood and leather and modern bar style. Friendly and fast service, outdoor seating and a parking lot. Locals and mountain tourists meet here. The local boys are sitting next to the tourist family who were just on the Breitenberg. We were there twice during our vacation in the region and were very satisfied. I would advise against the Wiener Schnitzel. The big restaurants can do that better. But the currywurst is certainly one of the best south of the Ruhr area. I wouldn't have thought that this existed in Bavaria. The cabbage donuts are super tasty. Just like the vegetarian burger and the homemade lemonade. If you need a change from the traditional inn, this is the place for you.

We were on the way looking for a café and discovered Dorfgschwätz as we drove past. Ice cream cafe, iced chocolate and apple strudel were very tasty. The service is friendly, courteous and quick. The atmosphere is very cozy. We can absolutely recommend it.

Good bye. Good restaurant. Perfect opening hours. Nice and attentive service. Something for everyone. There are also delicious cakes. I missed the delicious sweet potato fries. The normal fries are way too thin and were very salty. But everyone has different tastes. 😉 P.S. I would recommend serving the fries in a separate bowl with Wiener Schnitzel. Then the schnitzel can be cut better. And above all, thicker fries are simply better received.

It's such a great little cafe/restaurant...I love being here! The waitresses are very friendly and kind and by the third visit the friendly waitress already knew what I wanted...you feel very comfortable here! The latte macchiato tastes very good here and the cakes/tarts taste fantastic...I've been able to try different ones and each one was a real treat! I'll be here for a while and will come here as often as I can...it's highly recommended! Thank you for your great work and the passion you can feel here!
