Dorfgschwätz Restaurant-Bar-Cafe in Pfronten

Das Dorfgeschwätz war die perfekte Wahl für unser verspätetes Mittagessen! Wir hatten Krautkrapfen und Currywurst und es war super lecker. Die Wartezeit lag nur bei 5-10 Minuten und die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nette Leute + Location, moderate Preise + starkes Essen, Das Fleisch wie beim Jägerschnitzel schmeckt nach Qualität👍

Das Essen war sehr lecker, es gibt viele vegetarische Speisen zur Auswahl. Der Service war auch sehr gut! Gerne wieder :)

Das Wiener Schnitzel war am einen Ende salzig, am anderen Ende pfeffrig und die Pommes schlapp.

Dorfgschwätz landet auf einem der letzte Plätze in Pfonten. Die Qualität der Speisen und der Service waren ausreichend bis mangelhaft. Ich hatte ein Cordon Bleu das noch essbar war. Wenn ich mein Abendessen genießen möchte, dann werde ich definitiv ein anderes Lokal wählen.

Gutes Essen in gemütlicher Atmosphäre.

Urlaub beginnt definitiv dort. Ankommen und wohlfühlen! Glutenfrei , vegan und normal ( wobei normal ja alles sein kann und darf) Sehr lecker und danke für die Gastfreundschaft. Wir kommen gerne wieder ( schon mindestens 8 Jahre in Folge)

Wirklich ein tolles und empfehlenswertes, hundefreundliches Restaurant! Wir waren mehrmals mit unseren zwei Hunden dort (wie letztes Jahr auch) und das Essen war jeden Tag perfekt! Das Personal dort ist wirklich super freundlich, es wird mehrmals gefragt, ob mit dem Essen alles ok sei und die Wartezeit ist mehr als kurz! Für Essen haben wir meistens ca 5 Minuten gewartet. Kann jedem nur empfehlen dorthin zu gehen. Das Essen ist immer super schön angerichtet, persönliche Empfehlung : die Limonaden, alle durchweg richtig lecker! Vielen Dank für die erneuten tollen Erinnerungen!

Solides Lokal in Pfronten - freundliche Bedienung- gutes Essen

Die Speisekarte ist super, nur etwas teuer. Und das Personal ist sehr freundlich

Wir haben hier einen leckeren Wein getrunken.Die Speisekarte klingt super,werden bestimmt auch noch das Essen testen. Die Bedienungen sind auf Zack. Indoor ein wirklich tolles Ambiente.

Ich als Minijobberin und auch als Gast finde es hier super lecker und das Team ist auch toll 😊

Eine klare Empfehlung für veganes Essen in Pfronten. Der vegane Burger war hervorragend, die Potato Dippers ein Traum.

Bedienung sehr freundlich, alles gut. Das Essen absolut nicht gut. Die Gerichte sind nicht wie auf der Karte beschrieben. Es werden zb scharfe, vermutlich orientalische, Gewürze benutzt um das Fleisch zu würzen. Überhaupt nicht passend zu einem cordon bleu. Auf entsprechende Rückmeldung wurde quasi gar nicht reagiert, das Essen konnte nicht weiter gegessen werden. Der volle Preis berechnet und kein Angebot zur Entschädigung, angesichts des preises von fast 26€ sehr bitter. Leider sehr schlechter Umgang. Wir hatten das Lokal bewusst zum Anschluss unseres Urlaubes ausgesucht, bittere Enttäuschung. Für das Essen gibt es dennoch 2 Sterne, denn die Fädlesuppe war gut.

Komme immer gerne her, nach der Renovierung wirkt es noch mukkeliger. Essen und Service wie immer Tip Top und lecker, der Kuchen ist auch eine Augenweide und es gibt vegetarische und vegane Alternativen auch bei den Desserts. Sehr zu empfehlen komme immer gerne her!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Bedienung war ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und kompetent. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist die große glutenfreie Auswahl. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns ausführlich erklärt, welche Gerichte glutenfrei zubereitet oder entsprechend angepasst werden können. Zudem gab es bereits standardmäßig einen glutenfreien und veganen Brownie auf der Karte! Die hausgemachten Limonaden waren köstlich, und die gesamte Atmosphäre war sehr herzlich und einladend. Es ist zwar direkt an der Straße, aber sie haben das beste draus gemacht! Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Klare Empfehlung!

Hatte einen Chilliburger mit Pommes.

Went there again today, Saturday, and had another apple pie, which was delicious. I ordered Obatzda (Bavarian cheese spread) and received a really great salad. Everything was really good and very quick. It was a bit cold in the dining room. Definitely recommended.

A very nice and modernly furnished restaurant in the center of Pfronten. The service is attentive and friendly, and the menu is extensive. Burgers, schnitzel, and vegetarian dishes are all available. The portions are generous, and the dishes we ordered (burgers and schnitzel) were delicious. Overall, a highly recommended restaurant with a cozy atmosphere.

We stopped at Dorfgschwätz during our vacation after visiting the nearby ice rink and were absolutely delighted! A wide selection of delicious children's meals at fair prices, tasty schnitzel and burgers for us adults, and perfect service from attentive and very friendly staff, combined with the tasteful decor, deserve 5 stars in every category. If we're ever passing through again, we'll definitely be back at Dorfgschwätz! 👍

We ate here with 7 adults and 1 child. This was our second time eating here, and we are completely satisfied. The food is truly excellent; you can taste the high quality of both the preparation and the dishes themselves. We've tried all the schnitzel variations and are absolutely delighted. The quality of the meat is also outstanding. The service is impeccable, just like the food. We were served quickly, efficiently, and yet in a friendly manner. I would give this restaurant even more stars if possible, as it stands out from all the other restaurants we've been to. (For anyone considering other restaurants, I wholeheartedly recommend Dorfgeschwätz.) If you're looking for delicious, high-quality food at an affordable price, this is the perfect place.

We've been going to Pfronten for years, both in summer and winter, and this December was actually our first time at Dorfgeschwätz for coffee. The cake looked so good we couldn't resist. And what can I say? Both were simply delicious! It was so cozy there that we had dinner that same evening. We weren't disappointed again. The food also got a full 10 out of 10, and the price was excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back. Unfortunately, we won't be back until summer 2026. A cozy restaurant with very good service. The food is good, even if it was a bit bland for our taste – but nothing a pinch of salt and pepper (available on the table) couldn't fix. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is served promptly. The restaurant is comfortably furnished; only the music (especially the bass) is a bit too loud.

A lovely, cozy café right in the heart of Pfronten! ☕️🍰 The waiters are very friendly and you immediately feel at ease. The coffee is really good – perfect for just taking a short break and enjoying a slice of cake. The food is also really good.

The food was simply perfect; the meat (rump steak) was very tasty, cooked medium. The schnitzel, currywurst, and chicken burger were also very tasty. The food arrived quickly, and the service was excellent.

Four of us (two adults and two children) ate at Dorfgeschwätz and were completely satisfied. There's a special children's menu with five different dishes to choose from – superbly thought-out and child-friendly. The service was extremely friendly, attentive, and prompt. We were served promptly, and the food arrived at our table very quickly – perfect when traveling with children. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, and everything tasted great. We felt very comfortable and would gladly come back!

Unfortunately, we weren't given a particularly friendly welcome upon arrival, so we decided to leave. It's a shame, because our first impression of the surroundings was actually quite pleasant.

Delicious dishes, special ambience, friendly service

I would recommend this restaurant if the waitress hadn't silenced us. As soon as we were seated, she pointed out that there were other guests there who wanted to eat in peace. But we weren't the ones being loud, just the table next to us. It could have been friendlier.

A great start to our vacation. A cozy and informal restaurant. A warm and hospitable welcome. The food was delicious! Unfortunately, we were just passing through, so we wouldn't be back.

We stopped by for coffee and cake after our hike. You can't go wrong. The apple strudel was beautifully presented and delicious. The coffee was excellent.

We decided to visit "Dorfgschwätz" for the first time today on a whim, after having already glanced at the menu online. We were here late in the afternoon and got a table outside without a reservation – wonderful, the weather was perfect. We both opted for the vegan currywurst with fries and a mixed salad. Awesome – we loved it! The highlight, however, was the vegan dessert – you really can't miss it – yummy ♥ ♥ A big shout-out and thanks to the kitchen and the very attentive service – we'll definitely be back soon!

We ate here for the first time, and let's start with the positives... a lovely, friendly restaurant, very friendly service, interesting menu... ... I ordered cabbage fritters, and the outer layer of the dough was rock hard in places because it was completely dry. When I tried to explain this to the young employee who asked me whether I enjoyed the dish while clearing the dishes, he visibly rolled his eyes and told me to clean it up, then added a "thank you" as he left... without letting me finish and without allowing any further communication. That is highly unprofessional, presumptuous, and arrogant... ... although the other dishes were indeed very good and the colleague of this consummate professional is very nice and friendly, we will not visit this restaurant again and will not recommend it to anyone! Good restaurant staff should have at least a basic level of social skills and be able to accept criticism.

I had Allgäu cabbage fritters with salad and a strawberry lemonade to drink. The salad was super fresh, juicy, light, and went perfectly with the fritters. The fritters, along with the glazed onions, tasted incredibly interesting and delicious—slightly sweet, slightly sour, and crispy on one side. And they were really filling! (I even had to have the last one packed up.) The food here was truly something special, something you can't get everywhere, and certainly not this tasty, and vegan, too. The servers were all very friendly and relaxed, and when the weather's nice, it's a great place to sit outside. Highly recommended. Be sure to stop by Dorfgschwätz if you want to eat out in Pfronten!

The service was quick and courteous. Portions are sufficient and measured just right. Seating both inside and outside. The atmosphere outside is nicer and you can enjoy a great view of the mountains.

Very cozy restaurant with comfortable armchairs and a great atmosphere. The menu has everything you could want, whether meat or vegetarian, wine or beer, everything is there and everything is delicious! The cheese spaetzle was very intense with a generous amount of onions and the Kaiserschmarrn was absolutely perfect! The service is excellent, competent, friendly and courteous! On Friday we spent the evening before our wedding celebration with around 60 guests in Dorfgschwätz. The organization in advance was super uncomplicated and everything was great on site. We truly enjoyed our experience at "Dorfgschwatz" in Pfronten. We came here for the pancakes, the famous "Kaiserschmarrn" which was extremely tasty. It was a good portion, and most importantly, it was so delicious. You can have it with vanilla sauce and/ or apple compott and/ or vanilla ice cream. We also loved the homemade lemonade. Totally worth a visit! Also, the atmosphere is nice and cozy, and the service extremely friendly - especially Maria who served us with so much kindness and attention to detail.
