Great restaurant, great and very friendly service but the food was awful. I had the Hofpfanne with three different medallions: pork, beef and turkey. The pork medallion died twice, as did the beef, and the only thing left was the turkey, which was okay. My buttons were completely overcooked and had no bite. The sauce was loveless and tasteless. And all that for €68. Once and never again, I'm sorry.

It was really incredibly delicious! The youngest had Kaiserschmarren, the oldest had Käsespätzle, my husband had Wiener Schnitzel and I had Maultaschen with egg and cheese gratin. All very delicious. Afterwards we were more than full. Everyone had a drink with it. Including the tip we paid €100. Normal these days, but worth every cent. I can only recommend it.

Great ambience, very nice service and super delicious food. We can highly recommend the rump steak, the Allgäu onion roast, the Kaiserschmarrn and the Hofbier. We will definitely come by again when we are in Pfronten again.

A real place to relax, very friendly and attentive service, the atmosphere is very tasteful and the food is simply excellent. From the crisp salad to the onion roast with buttery meat to the Kaiserschmarrn: Eating is simply fun and the prices are definitely justified. We'll definitely come back more often🤗

Highly recommended. Delicious food, service really friendly and accommodating, and a cozy atmosphere. You can tell that people enjoy working here. Despite being busy, we received our food quickly The restaurant is a bit larger, but a reservation definitely makes sense - at least on weekends. Parking spaces are limited, but there is also the option to park directly on the street.

Very rustic restaurant. I had a few problems finding it at first. Then unfortunately I didn't make a reservation (be sure to make it in advance). But was still greeted very nicely by a waitress and seated at a table with three nice ladies (very friendly and in general agreement). Everything after that was just an experience: the beer was absolutely tasty and stayed pleasantly cold in the steins for a long time, the ambience was as you would imagine it to be in the Allgäu, the food was plentiful and delicious and the dessert was a crowning finale (despite half the portion absolutely sufficient!). I'd love to come back if possible!

It was late when we came for a beer: We received a very friendly welcome, service and advice. We have already made reservations for our next visit to this really beautiful house. Simply great!!😊😊😊😊👍🌟

1A service, super delicious food!!!

There were 20 people in the pub in Pfronten. We were served quickly, in a friendly and very personable manner. From the soup to the salad to the main course, we were thrilled across the board. My onion roast alone, which was priced in the now normal price segment, was worth every cent. At the end there was the finest schnapps. The pub in Pfronten can be fully recommended, we will be back and will be happy to recommend it to our guests. Thank you very much and greetings from Seeg.

I originally wanted to eat pork knuckle, but it turns out that pork knuckle is only available every Tuesday. I tried other dishes and they were surprisingly delicious. Schnitzel is very tender and especially delicious. The gnocchi are really the best gnocchi I have eaten in Germany! The taste is very moist and fragrant, and there is cheese in it, which is very delicious! I feel like a lot of the sauces are homemade. It’s a very user-friendly shop. I like it very much!

An immersion not to be missed, in a traditional Bavarian establishment. The architecture and authenticity of the place goes hand in hand with the most pleasant service. Succulent dishes that awaken your sweet tooth. Come and try.

Very tasty food in a rustic, cozy atmosphere!

We went there for the first time yesterday because it was recommended to us. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. In the entrance area the smell of the toilet and wastewater comes into your nose...🤢 Eating is NOT recommended. The deer calf is totally spicy, sinewy and spicy. The vegan chewy donuts are completely dried out. We told the waitress. Since yesterday evening on the sofa with a stomach ache... We won't visit it anymore...

During our 1 week vacation we ate in this great restaurant twice. We ate and drank fantastically both evenings. The waitress Mandy is super friendly and Brigitta, the boss, was just really welcoming. Be sure to reserve in advance. We will definitely come back as soon as we vacation nearby again.

Very good food, great selection and very, very tasty beer. The food tasted very good, both for me as a meat lover and for my wife, there were also very good vegetarian dishes. What should be highlighted is the delicious beer, I drove there and walked back ;)

The food was excellent. The Allgäu sausage salad was super tasty. The crowning glory was the Kaiserschmarrn. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We will definitely come back.

Fine restaurant, great location and view of the Zugspitze, the food was delicious (Maultaschen!), the beer was tasty (Hausbräu Dunkel), the service was quick-witted and attentive (Mandy), and thanks to a wedding party there was also a lot of hearty local color. Again and again! :)

The food was okay but nothing more. Price and performance are always top. The beer here comes straight from the barrel and tastes delicious because it is served in a stein. Service and ambience are really very good. The food lagged a bit behind the service and the ambience.

Very friendly staff. Luckily we got a spot even though we didn't make a reservation. Among other things, Cordon Bleu was eaten stuffed with chanterelles and goat cheese. And pumpkin soup. Excellent and creative. You have to come back there.

It is really an old house with a cozy restaurant and a small beer garden. The waiter was very friendly and the food was good. The home-made beer is also recommended.

Everything was great! Both waitresses (male and female) were friendly and attentive. Veal schnitzel & roast pork great dishes. Portion size okay. Side dishes and salad great. Views of the mountains in good weather. Prices as usual in tourist places. Any time.

Here in the pub, which was recommended to us by the Grüntensee campsite, it is very cozy, everything is stylishly furnished. We called ahead and made a reservation, and that worked out well. The staff is very friendly and our food came in a reasonable time. I have never eaten such delicious cheese spaetzle, here in the Allgäu of course with mountain cheese. We were completely satisfied and can highly recommend the pub. Thanks.

The pub offers excellent food and in-house beer. Of the finest. Rustically furnished, like 1890, reservations are an advantage, people line up to get a table. I can only recommend eating here to everyone. Quite excellent.

Everything fits perfectly, we were there before the kitchen opened and were able to order earlier!!! Really great service. Great food / had yeast dumplings, venison goulash and duck. Everything delicious. House-made beer is great, gladly again!

I've been coming to Pfronten for years and always enjoy coming here. So far everything has tasted excellent and I think the kitchen and service are very well organized. Definitely recommended!

We enjoyed it great, the service was great and so was the ambience. There were the two dishes in the pictures, children's spaetzle with sauce, cheese spaetzle and roast pork. For dessert, a large Kaiserschmarrn for everyone and various drinks including beer and wine. You couldn't complain for 145€ with 4.5 people. Highly recommended 🤩

Totally rustic restaurant with delicious food. The landlord, i.e. the boss, and the waitresses are more than cool. When I was there there was tavern music late on, which brightened the mood even more. I can really only recommend the restaurant, be it for the ambience or the food.

Delicious food with a nice atmosphere

Were there for dinner. Reserved at 7 p.m.... got a table and unfortunately had to draw our attention to us at 7:30 p.m. No menu or drinks until then. 6 guests left because they were not taken into account either. It wasn't the staff's fault...

I would have liked to take a photo of it beforehand... but it was too tasty... (FYI that was Kaiserschmarrn) 😜 My husband had an original Wiener Schnitzel and his plate also looked like that 🫣 Very, very tasty food and super nice staff... we will 100% come back!!!

The service, dishes and atmosphere are unbeatable. The menu is small and fine, with everything from original Viennese veal schnitzel to the finest goulash. Insider tip: the homemade elderberry liqueur. Best with Kaiserschmarrn.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Bedienung ging auf alle Wünsche ein, sogar auf die Wünsche von unseren Kleinsten. Die Bestellungen wurden auch schnell ausgeliefert, die Kleinen bekamen zuerst und die Erwachsenen hatten dann gemütlich Zeit zum Schlemmen.

Wherever you found the chefs, they are priceless. The meal was a feast for the senses. Whether duck, Kaiserschmarren or wild garlic soup, everything was great. Any time again and highly recommended. Thanks for that.

If you like to eat the very best cheese pätzle in the Allgäu, this is the place for you. If you like some fine meat from Allgäu beef, you should definitely try the Allgäu onion roast, an absolute dream dish. Plus the absolutely tasty, great Hofbier in the Steinkrug, it really makes your culinary heart open ❤️. We'd love to come back when we're in the area again. Keep it up, this is gastronomy the way I like it. 👍🏻😍
