Very friendly staff. Luckily we got a spot even though we didn't make a reservation. Among other things, Cordon Bleu was eaten stuffed with chanterelles and goat cheese. And pumpkin soup. Excellent and creative. You have to come back there.

It is really an old house with a cozy restaurant and a small beer garden. The waiter was very friendly and the food was good. The home-made beer is also recommended.

Here in the pub, which was recommended to us by the Grüntensee campsite, it is very cozy, everything is stylishly furnished. We called ahead and made a reservation, and that worked out well. The staff is very friendly and our food came in a reasonable time. I have never eaten such delicious cheese spaetzle, here in the Allgäu of course with mountain cheese. We were completely satisfied and can highly recommend the pub. Thanks.

The pub offers excellent food and in-house beer. Of the finest. Rustically furnished, like 1890, reservations are an advantage, people line up to get a table. I can only recommend eating here to everyone. Quite excellent.

I've been coming to Pfronten for years and always enjoy coming here. So far everything has tasted excellent and I think the kitchen and service are very well organized. Definitely recommended!

We enjoyed it great, the service was great and so was the ambience. There were the two dishes in the pictures, children's spaetzle with sauce, cheese spaetzle and roast pork. For dessert, a large Kaiserschmarrn for everyone and various drinks including beer and wine. You couldn't complain for 145€ with 4.5 people. Highly recommended 🤩

Totally rustic restaurant with delicious food. The landlord, i.e. the boss, and the waitresses are more than cool. When I was there there was tavern music late on, which brightened the mood even more. I can really only recommend the restaurant, be it for the ambience or the food.

Delicious food with a nice atmosphere

Were there for dinner. Reserved at 7 p.m.... got a table and unfortunately had to draw our attention to us at 7:30 p.m. No menu or drinks until then. 6 guests left because they were not taken into account either. It wasn't the staff's fault...

I would have liked to take a photo of it beforehand... but it was too tasty... (FYI that was Kaiserschmarrn) 😜 My husband had an original Wiener Schnitzel and his plate also looked like that 🫣 Very, very tasty food and super nice staff... we will 100% come back!!!

The service, dishes and atmosphere are unbeatable. The menu is small and fine, with everything from original Viennese veal schnitzel to the finest goulash. Insider tip: the homemade elderberry liqueur. Best with Kaiserschmarrn.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Bedienung ging auf alle Wünsche ein, sogar auf die Wünsche von unseren Kleinsten. Die Bestellungen wurden auch schnell ausgeliefert, die Kleinen bekamen zuerst und die Erwachsenen hatten dann gemütlich Zeit zum Schlemmen.

Wherever you found the chefs, they are priceless. The meal was a feast for the senses. Whether duck, Kaiserschmarren or wild garlic soup, everything was great. Any time again and highly recommended. Thanks for that.

If you like to eat the very best cheese pätzle in the Allgäu, this is the place for you. If you like some fine meat from Allgäu beef, you should definitely try the Allgäu onion roast, an absolute dream dish. Plus the absolutely tasty, great Hofbier in the Steinkrug, it really makes your culinary heart open ❤️. We'd love to come back when we're in the area again. Keep it up, this is gastronomy the way I like it. 👍🏻😍

Ich war in den letzten Tagen mehrmals in der Schankwirtschaft beim Essen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung und leckeres Essen. Man findet auch, trotz der vollbesetzten Tische, immer ein nettes Wort für die Gäste. Außerdem ein herzliches Dankeschön, dass mir mein Essen nach Hause geliefert wurde, als ich mein Bein gebrochen hatte und nicht außer Haus konnte.

We had dinner for 7 people. Everything was prepared very freshly and deliciously: schnitzel, cheese sparrows, salmon steak, Maultaschen, salmon noodles, ... and the sensational Kaiserschmarrn. Very cozy atmosphere! Very courteous service! I will definitely come back and can fully recommend the pub.

Pfronten joke shop In order to satisfy my endless craving for a crispy, light and tender Wiener Schnitzel, I made my way through the snow tundra in Pfronten to get to the pub. When I arrived I was shown to the table and given the card. This was easy to read and clear, which is what I particularly like. The waitress was quick and not much time passed between ordering and my meal. I ordered 2 halves, which were served in earthenware jugs, which I personally like. The starter was beef soup, which itself was a 6.5/10. Shortly afterwards I received my schnitzel, a plate with 3 smaller schnitzels, potatoes cut in half, a small bowl of cranberry jam and half a loveless decorative tomato. The sight was quite sobering, but I don't let that influence me, only the taste counts. I started with the schnitzel, when I wanted to cut it I couldn't believe it. I was forced to use massive force to be able to cut this VEAL SCHNITZEL; a cleaver or steak knife would have been more appropriate. The taste was rather below average and as expected from the cutting ratio, I took a little time travel to the first American settlers to Jamestown in 1610 to eat the sole of my shoe. It's a shame that a small calf had to be slaughtered for it. The cranberry jam, like this little hotel jam, was too thick to spread cleverly on a piece of schnitzel. The potatoes were cooked through, but a little too dry and unsalted for my taste. Naturally, I brought this to the attention of the staff, whose response was to discount my dish by 50% off the bill. Which is the minimum, otherwise I would have had to pay €25.90! Mistakes happen and maybe I was an exception, but I can only report on my unique personal experience. Conclusion: A visit by invitation may be fine, but if you have your own funds, I would consider alternative options.

Luckily we discovered the economy on the second day of our stay, so we actually enjoyed it three times. Typically Bavarian furnishings with wooden furniture and fireplaces. The small menu with regional dishes is simply great. There is a changing dish every day and the wine selection is very nice. Not to mention the friendly service. We'll definitely be back.

A really quaint restaurant. A lovingly renovated Allgäu farmhouse. Very nice atmosphere. The menu is extensive and typically Allgäu. We had a perfectly fried roast beef with cheese spaetzle and an original Wiener schnitzel. For dessert we shared the best Kaiserschmarrn we've ever had. Clear recommendation if you are in the Allgäu.

The hammer in Pfronten... nothing more is possible. The operators, just like the food, are absolutely top class in rustic gastronomy

Lovely food, friendly service and super cosy. Remember to finish with an "Alte Marille". On Tuesdays you can be lucky that they have live music. It is, of course, Tyrolean style. This time on accordion, horn and later also guitar (video from 2014). We have also experienced the musicians strolling around the "hut" while they play for all the guests. Really worth a visit! 👌🍻 Edit 2024: Yes, here we are again. Still a great place with delicious food and friendly service. Unfortunately, live music doesn't start until March 🤷 ♂️😅 still definitely worth a visit or 2 👌🍻

Wir hatten das Vergnügen zum Abschluss unserer Schneeschuh-Wanderung hier einzukehren. Wir haben mit 8 Männern dort lecker gegessen und getrunken. Auch der Service war top. Die Gastwirtschaft ist urig eingerichtet. Eine Allgäuer Wirtschaft, wie man(n) sich sie vorstellt. Gutes, frisch gezapftes Hausbier. Gerne mal wieder.

Wir hatten reserviert und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die junge blonde Servicekraft mit osteuropäischem Akzent liebt ihren Job und macht ihn perfekt. Die Einrichtung ist sehr authentisch und urig. Die Wirtschaft ist nicht klein, was der Name vermuten lässt. Wie im winterlichen Märchenfilm sitzt man bei gedimmtem Glühlampenlicht in der hölzernen Gaststube und blickt in die winterliche Landschaft durch die Sprossenfenster. Wir möchten den Salat loben. Sehr knackig, frisch mit leckerem Dressing. Das Wiener Schnitzel war sehr reichlich mit zwei Stücken und den Kartoffeln. Für den saftigen Preis aber auch angebracht. Die Käsespätzle haben nach würzigem Allgäuer-Käse geschmeckt, aber irgendwie waren da Bröckchen mit drin, die ich nicht identifizieren konnte. Auch der Pfeffer war zu intensiv eingearbeitet. Da gibt es in der Umgebung bessere. Der Kirschstrudel mit Eis war aber dann wieder lecker. Die Germknödel, die wir auch bestellt hatten leider nur durchschnittlich, obwohl sie super hergerichtet waren. Was hier gar nicht geht ist die Männertoilette. Die Pissrinne wie im Kuhstall ist würdelos. Die einzige Kabine, wo man in Würde sein Geschäft machen kann hat nur eine 3/4 Türe. Jeder sieht einen beim Eintreten in die Toilette auf dem Pott sitzen. Kleine Kinder können problemlos unter der Türe durch schauen. Von einem guten Restaurant erwarte ich auch für Männer mindestens zwei komplett geschlossene Kabinen.

Super Essen und super freundliches Personal. Es gab absolut nichts auszusetzen. Einfach nur super !

Für das Essen gibt es 5 Sterne. Für die Lautstärke und Enge beim Sitzen leider nur drei. Alles in Allem würde ich die Wirtschaft aber weiterempfehlen. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Leckere Speisen, veganes Angebot: Krautkrapfen. Achtung: Salatsoße nicht vegan. Sehr gemütlich und gute Stimmung.

Die Schankwirtschaft Wohlfart hat einen fantastischen Service und bietet gutes Allgäuer Essen. Die Flädlesuppe ist sehr lecker. Dazu ein Hofbier und der Abend wird gut. Getrost kann man auf die Hausempfehlung zurückgreifen und wird nicht enttäuscht. Bei uns gab es die Hofpfanne und Hofgeröstetes (Ente, geröstete Klöße und Bratensoße) und Beides war qualitativ gut. Für zuhause kann man sich dann noch einen roten oder weißen „I love Allgäu“ Wein mitnehmen und an das gute Essen und den Service zurückdenken. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Wer hier Essen möchte sollte reservieren.

Das Lokal selbst ist total urig. Aber die Beleuchtung ist meiner Meinung nach zu dunkel und das Essen selbst ist auch nicht der Hit. Ich hatte das Wienerschnitzel mit Schwenkkartoffel welches nach nichts geschmeckt hat. Ich hatte mir mehr von dem Essen versprochen

Wir waren zum ersten mal hierEssen und rundum zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr lecker und es gab auch etwas veganes auf der Speisekarte. Der Services war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Restaurant ist wirklich gemütlich eingerichtet und man fühlt sich super wohl. Preisleistung ist auch stimmig. Die Schankwirtschaft kann ich nur empfehlen wenn man in Pfronten unterwegs ist.

Absolute Spitzenklasse. Das Essen ist on Point in einem schönen urigen, alten Haus mit Bier aus rustikalen Tonkrügen. Zauberhaft. Top Service, top Essen, top Ambiente. 10/10 wir kommen definitiv wieder wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

Der Besitzer und die Kellnerinnen waren überaus freundlich. Das Essen kam zügig und schmeckte uns sehr gut. Wir hatten 2 verschiedene Suppen und die sehr zu empfehlenden Käs-Spätzle. Das Hof-Bier (Naturtrüb) sollte man auch probiert haben. Alles in allem kann man hier einen sehr schönen Abend in einem sehr gemütlichen Ambiente verbringen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Service ist gut, aber das Essen war doch sehr enttäuschend. Hatte es besser in Erinnerung. Ein derart liebloses Tagesgericht „Hirschbraten“ wo dann die erst die Knödel aus waren, die Rösti TK-Ware und der Rotkohl verkocht. Insgesamt nicht der Rede wert.

Waren heute Abend dort essen und es war extrem lecker. Die herzliche Bedienung war ein Goldstück und sehr freundlich. Und unser Essen war sehr schnell an Tisch und alle Speisen waren sehr warm und ein Gaumenschmaus.

Wir waren zum Abendessen da. Freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service, gemütliches Sitzen, regionales Essen, ab 17 Uhr besser resavieren, da gut besucht.

Die Wirtschaft hat ein tolles Ambiente. Die Bedienung ist nett, flott und zuvorkommen. Sowohl das Bier als auch die Speisen sind super! Der Kaiserschmarren war der Oberhammer. Gerne wieder!
