We stopped in briefly for refreshments on New Year's Eve; great restaurant, friendly staff.

This was our second stay in the holiday apartment, and we were completely satisfied. I gave the food 5 stars because, although it's self-catering, they deliver fresh bread rolls to your door every morning upon request. The owner even offered to buy groceries for us, as we were worried we wouldn't be able to find everything we needed. We stayed there over Christmas and have already booked again for next Christmas. Upon request, they even provided us with a Christmas tree and some decorations to borrow. It's simply wonderful how Joachim, the owner, manages everything. Top-notch service, top-quality accommodation, and a truly lovely, warm person! Everyone there is very child-friendly; my dog ​​was welcome without any problems and could even have come into the restaurant. I can wholeheartedly recommend the owner, the holiday apartment, and the entire area around Pfronten in the Allgäu region.

We felt very comfortable in this inn from the very first moment. The ambiance is extremely pleasant and inviting, the location is wonderfully chosen, and overall the place exudes a special feel-good atmosphere. From the warm welcome and attentive service to the excellent food, everything was simply perfect. The team is attentive, friendly, and incredibly dedicated to ensuring every guest feels comfortable. The premises are tastefully decorated and offer a very pleasant atmosphere for family celebrations. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and a true culinary highlight; our guests were absolutely delighted. Even individual requests (gluten-free) were accommodated without any problems. A nice place in itself, but the prices are high and don't justify the quality. The cabbage dumplings and cheese spaetzle were quite good. The Kaiserschmarrn was definitely from a package or made with ready-made batter. After 10 minutes, no Kaiserschmarrn was ready. And all the pieces were meticulously the same size. I've never eaten such a bad one – from the texture to the taste. And at that price, it's an absolute outrage.

On Sundays, they have duck – highly recommended – with dumplings and red cabbage on the daily specials menu – delicious! The second time, I had the onion roast beef – also highly recommended. For me, the friendly atmosphere with attentive and cheerful service is also very important.

On Tuesdays, they serve fresh knuckle of pork here, absolutely delicious, crispy, and incredibly tender. Delicious with dumplings and red cabbage! The roast beef with onions is also excellent. Very good and friendly service. The house beer is also delicious. Reservations are highly recommended; even on Tuesdays, the place was packed. You feel at home here! We'd gladly return!

We had dinner at Schankwirtschaft Wohlfahrt Pfronten and had the best Allgäu cheese spaetzle and the most delicious roast pork ever, along with the delicious farm beer! To finish off, we had the unique, heavenly Kaiserschmarrn – a poem! Super friendly staff, to top it all off 👍🏼 An absolute 5* recommendation!

We arrived here spontaneously on a Tuesday after a day trip. We didn't have a reservation, but there was room for the two of us. Tuesdays are always knuckle of pork day. Unfortunately, you would have had to make a reservation for that, so I switched to venison goulash. It was delicious. My wife had something vegetarian and was also very satisfied. The waitress (Antonia) is the best choice for the job. Courteous, helpful, and just incredibly nice. We've rarely eaten so well and been served so well. Unfortunately, we can only give this place 5 stars. A 12 out of 10 would actually be appropriate. Best wishes from Schleswig-Holstein

What a lovely restaurant, we've visited twice and both times we were served by the lovely Antonia. She even remembered as soon as we entered that we came from the Netherlands and wanted the English menu. A must visit if you love beer and want to try a typical Bayern meal. The restaurant itself looks as if you've entered the hut from Snowwhite, absolutely stunning!

A rustic, traditional hut with ample seating. We sat in the "vaulted cellar" area (part of the restaurant), which is lovingly decorated. When the weather is nice, you can also sit outside. We arrived before the official kitchen opening time, but that wasn't a problem, and we were well looked after even before that. The ambiance and hospitality were very welcoming and welcoming. One of the best restaurants we've eaten at in Pfronten so far. There's even a lovingly decorated playroom for the children. The food arrived very quickly and was excellent. The prices are reasonable for today. Reservations should be made one or two days in advance, especially on weekends.

We went to the restaurant on August 20th, which we really enjoyed, and then reserved a table for August 22nd. We almost wanted to cancel because we weren't feeling well that day, but we decided to go anyway. When we asked the waiter if we could order smaller portions, the answer was not so friendly, but we could order them. The food wasn't really our cup of tea. What annoyed us most were the prices for the small portions. The dishes weren't much bigger than the children's portions. But they were much more expensive. If we'd known that earlier, we would have canceled. We could have ordered regular-sized ones instead of paying so much for two mini dishes. Best, M and B

My wife and I ate here last week – and it was truly fantastic! A wonderfully beautiful, typically Allgäu restaurant, rustic, lovingly furnished, and with an old tiled stove that adds a lot of charm. The staff was friendly, and the food (onion roast beef and Wiener schnitzel) was excellent – ​​we deserve high praise for that. Yesterday, we wanted to return with the whole family for a knuckle of pork dinner – and were bitterly disappointed. At 5:30 p.m., the restaurant was almost empty (only a few tables occupied, and plenty of space outside as well). Nevertheless, we were told that all seats were reserved for 7–8 p.m. We weren't offered a single table – not even until the time reservations start. Realistically, we would have been finished long before then. Unfortunately, this comes across as more than stubborn and completely unfriendly to customers. This is how you drive away regulars and miss an opportunity to gain satisfied customers. Conclusion: The food and ambiance are top-notch – but the inflexible and incomprehensible attitude towards reservations was a huge disappointment. What a pity, we were really looking forward to this evening.

We've been on holiday in Pfronten with friends for the second year now. We enjoyed the pub twice last year and three times this year. The owners are super friendly. Every guest request is accommodated whenever possible, and the quality of the food is commensurate with the price. We were able to try many dishes, and they were all delicious. We look forward to seeing you again.

We've been to the Wohlfahrt pub several times now, and we've never been disappointed. The food, the ambiance, and the staff—everything is just perfect. The Hofbier (farm beer) is absolutely delicious. The Wiener Schnitzel is the best schnitzel I've ever eaten. With the cranberries and potatoes on the side, it's a real treat. The apple strudel is truly delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Every time we're on vacation in Pfronten, at least one visit to the Wohlfahrt is a must (although it usually doesn't stop at just one). Reservations are definitely recommended.

I've been vacationing in Pfronten every year for many years – and a visit to the pub has always been a must for me. I'd even call myself a regular customer now. So far, my experiences there have been consistently positive – until my last visit, which unfortunately left a completely different impression. I enjoyed a cozy three-course evening with a friend. The food was, as always, excellent – there was nothing to complain about. What disappointed me, however, was the service that evening. I've been paying by card here for years, and this option has always been offered to me. However, on this evening, the card payment machine was broken – which can happen. What was annoying, however, was that we weren't informed of this until after we'd finished the entire meal, so we had no preparation. Since we didn't have any cash with us, my ID was confiscated (apparently, this didn't happen to other guests) and we were asked to walk approximately 50 minutes to the nearest bank. We did. Back at the bar, we discovered that other guests who also had to withdraw money were given a shot of schnapps or an ice cream "on the house" as compensation – but we weren't. That's a real shame, because I've always felt welcome and treated fairly here. This experience has unfortunately permanently damaged my trust in the pub business. With a heavy heart, I will therefore refrain from visiting in the future.

What a wonderful, rustic restaurant! Excellent food! We had noodle soup, tomato soup, cheese spaetzle, Wiener schnitzel, Maultaschen baked with mountain cheese, roast beef with onion and cheese spaetzle, and to finish, the superbly prepared Kaiserschmarrn with homemade apple sauce. And our waitress, Antonia, was amazing—a very friendly and funny, pretty woman who has her heart in the right place. But that shouldn't diminish the impression we get from the entire team—from the excellent chef, who excels at his craft, to the wait staff—a fantastic team that deserves nothing but praise. Anyone who finds fault here has no idea what good food is. The price/performance ratio is also very reasonable. The ambiance is beautifully designed, both inside and in the beer garden. Even if you drop by spontaneously, they always try to find a solution to get a seat and make everyone happy, which they often succeed in doing. My recommendation: definitely stop by and enjoy. A very good restaurant in a beautiful farmhouse. Excellent service, delicious food, and their own tasty beer from a wooden barrel. The yeast dumplings for dessert didn't seem homemade, though, which doesn't detract from the overall impression.

Waren auf Empfehlung von Freunden dort. Der erste Eindruck war gut, außer ein leichter Toilettengericht beim reingehen. Wir würden freundlich empfangen und bekamen, auf Grund Reservierung, gleich einen Tisch. Die Getränke kamen recht schnell, wir haben dann die Hof Pfanne bestellt. Das Hofbier im gekühlten Steinkrug war sehr gut. Zum Essen: Solala, ein Stück Rindfleisch als Medaillon zu bezeichnen - OK, kann man so sehen. Die Spätzle dazu waren leider nur noch lauwarm und sind in der Soße fast versoffen. Das Essen war nicht schlecht, aber auch nicht mehr oder weniger! Die Bedienung wurde mit zunehmender Auslastung des Lokals immer genervter und wurde teilweise zu den Gästen leicht unfreundlich, zu uns aber nicht. Der Preis für die Speisen finde ich, im Vergleich zu anderen Gaststätten im Raum, überhöht. Vielleicht haben wir nur einen schlechten Tag erwischt, aber ich würde wahrscheinlich dort nicht mehr zum Essen hingehen, für ein kühles Bier jederzeit.

Wir waren zu zweit mit Hund im Biergarten. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen, ein Zwiebelrostbraten und einmal Schupfnudeln in der Qualität hervorragend. Das hauseigene Bier ist lecker, lediglich die Preise für Wein sind erheblich überzogen
