Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, gutes Essen und toller Service, super freundlich

Hier habe ich die teuersten Bürgermaultaschen meines Lebens gegessen. Leider sind die "Allgäuer Maultaschen" nicht Hausgemacht und sicher auch von keinem Metzger aus der Region. Auch der Germknödel war nicht selbstgemacht. Die Käsespätzle waren OK und der Schweinebraten geschmacklich als ob man ihn aufgewärmt hätte. Für die Preise hier ist das nicht in Ordnung. Auf jeden Fall mehr Schein als Sein. Woher die ganzen guten Bewertungen kommen ist nicht nachvollziehbar für uns.

Essen ist perfekt alles schmeckt wunderbar auch die Tagesgerichte passen immer. Service ist eine 10/10 jeder Kellner ist sehr freundlich 👍

Sehr rustikal und hausgemacht, zu empfehlen mit dem selbstgebrauten Hofbier.

Das Essen dort ist sehr sehr gut. Es ist zwar etwas teurer aber für die Qualität die man bekommt, ein absolut angemessener Preis.

Wir waren schon öfter für einen Kurzurlaub in Pfronten und regelmäßig in der Schankwirtschaft Wohlfahrt zum Essen. Da wir diese jedes Mal begeistert verlassen haben, war es mir ein Bedürfnis, eine Rezension zu schreiben. Man bekommt schon ein heimeliges Gefühl, wenn man die urig eingerichtete Schankwirtschaft betritt. Die entspannte Atmosphäre, die sympathische Bedienung und allgemein das tolle Team tragen ihren Teil dazu bei, dass man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Bei einem leckeren Bier aus dem gekühlten Steinkrug genossen wir erstmal den Moment… Unsere Speisen, die dann kamen, waren absolut TOP! Einfach ein Traum! Der Kaiserschmarrn, den es zum Nachtisch gab, war da noch das i-Tüpfelchen. FAZIT: Wenn man in Pfronten lecker speisen möchte und das in einer super sympathischen Atmosphäre, dann sollte man UNBEDINGT in diese Schankwirtschaft gehen.

Waren vor 3 Jahren im Urlaub da und sind jetzt beim Vorbeifahren auch wieder eingekehrt. War wie immer, essen gut, freundliche Bedienung, und schönes Ambiente. Biergarten bei schönem Wetter unschlagbar. Uns, oder unseren 2 Kindern, gefällt auch das schöne Spielzimmer.

Der Biergarten ist super schön und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Essen war auch super. Innen hat es bisschen unangenehm gerochen, daher einen Stern Abzug.

Großartige Location, leckere Kösespätzle Wir kommen im Sommer wieder um den Biergarten zu testen! Nur zu empfehlen!

Wir waren heute nach der Empfehlung einer Freundin im Restaurant essen. Der Zwiebelrostbraten mit Käsespätzle war unglaublich lecker und beide Bedienungen waren sehr aufmerksam, Ihnen ist sogar aufgefallen als uns die Soße auf dem Teller ausging und haben uns einen Nachschlag an Soße angeboten. Großes Lob.

Schönes Ambiente, nette Bedienung, einziger Wermutstropfen: die Portionen waren übersichtlich und geschmacklich mittelmäßig.

Ganz tolles Restaurant in einer urigen, alten Hütte – dabei dennoch modern und stylisch eingerichtet. Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service, besonders angenehm auch mit kleinem Kind dank eines separaten Spielzimmers. Die Speisekarte ist bewusst überschaubar, dafür überzeugen alle Gerichte geschmacklich auf ganzer Linie. Klare Empfehlung – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Enttäuschend! Deutlich teurer als andere, aber geschmacklich nicht besser, eher schlechter. Wir hatten Schweinebraten mit Blaukraut und Tagesgericht Rindergeschnetzeltes mit Reis. Der Schweinebraten recht fest, nicht weich geschmort. Wenig Soße. Im Blaukraut sehr viel Zimt - Warum? Weihnachten ist lange vorbei. Für mich passt das nicht zusammen. Das Rindergeschnetzelte recht trocken, mit viel Soße überdeckt. Die Portion sah zunächst gut aus, aber viele der Stücke in der Soße waren kein Fleisch, sondern längs geviertelte Cornichons! 23,90 € wurde dafür verlangt - Meines Erachtens wären 12,90 € angemessen gewesen. Wer Wein statt Bier trinken möchte, kann sich auf 9,90 € für ein Glas (0,2) einstellen. Wir hatten uns auf ein besonderes Essen gefreut, kommen aber bestimmt nicht wieder!

Die Schankwirtschaft ist sicherlich die beliebteste Gaststätte vor allem auch für auswärtige Gäste und das nicht ohne Grund. Die Location ist wirklich originell und bis ins letzte Detail mit Liebe ausgestattet. Das Personal extrem nett und das Essen sehr gut von der Suppe über den Rostbraten bis hin zum Kaiserschmarrn, top. Das eigene Bier sehr gut und die Weinauswahl auch lecker. Preise sind schon eher an der oberen Grenze aber Preis-Leistung stimmt.

Wir waren kurz an Silvester zum einer Erfrischung eingekehrt, tolle Gaststätte, freundliches Personal.

Nun waren wir zum zweiten mal mit voller Zufriedenheit in der Ferienwohnung. Bei Essen habe ich 5 Sterne gegeben da es zwar Selbstversorger ist, jedoch bekommt man auf Bestellung morgens Brötchen an die Tür geliefert. Und der Eigentümer wäre sogar bereit gewesen Lebensmittel für uns zu kaufen, da wir Sorge hatten nicht mehr alles zu bekommen. Wir waren über Weihnachten dort. Wir haben auch direkt wieder fürs nächste Weihnachten gebucht. Auf Nachfrage und Bestellung bekamen wir sogar einen Weihnachtsbaum in die Wohnung gestellt mit leihschmuck. Einfach nur wunderbar wie Joachim als Eigentümer das alles macht. Top Service, top Leistung und toller herzlicher Mensch! Alle dort sind sehr Kinderfreundlich, mein Hund durfte ohne Probleme mit und hätte sogar mit ins Restaurant gedurft. Ich kann den Eigentümer, die Ferienwohnung und die ganze Umgebung in Pfronten im Allgäu nur jedem wärmstens empfehlen.

Wir haben uns in diesem Gasthaus vom ersten Moment an sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Ambiente ist äußerst angenehm und einladend, die Lage wunderbar gewählt und insgesamt strahlt der Ort eine besondere Wohlfühlatmosphäre aus. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Bedienung: Die Dame, die uns betreut hat, war außerordentlich hilfsbereit, herzlich und freundlich – eine sehr menschliche Person, bei der man sich sofort gut aufgehoben fühlt. Rundum waren wir sehr zufrieden und haben unseren Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen. Dieses Gasthaus können wir aus voller Überzeugung weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Vielen Dank!

Von der herzlichen Begrüßung über die liebevolle Betreuung bis hin zum ausgezeichneten Essen, einfach alles war perfekt. Das Team ist aufmerksam, freundlich und unglaublich bemüht, dass sich jeder Gast wohlfühlt. Die Räumlichkeiten sind geschmackvoll und bieten eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre für Familienfeiern. Das Essen war frisch, liebevoll angerichtet und geschmacklich ein Highlight, unsere Gäste waren durchweg begeistert. Auch individuelle Wünsche wurden ohne Probleme berücksichtigt (Glutenfrei). Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für diesen unvergesslichen Tag, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können diese Gastwirtschaft nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

A nice place in itself, but the prices are high and don't justify the quality. The cabbage dumplings and cheese spaetzle were quite good. The Kaiserschmarrn was definitely from a package or made with ready-made batter. After 10 minutes, no Kaiserschmarrn was ready. And all the pieces were meticulously the same size. I've never eaten such a bad one – from the texture to the taste. And at that price, it's an absolute outrage.

A wonderfully rustic inn with a great atmosphere, very friendly service, and excellent food. We've been there twice. On Sundays, they have duck – highly recommended – with dumplings and red cabbage on the daily specials menu – delicious! The second time, I had the onion roast beef – also highly recommended. For me, the friendly atmosphere with attentive and cheerful service is also very important.

On Tuesdays, they serve fresh knuckle of pork here, absolutely delicious, crispy, and incredibly tender. Delicious with dumplings and red cabbage! The roast beef with onions is also excellent. Very good and friendly service. The house beer is also delicious. Reservations are highly recommended; even on Tuesdays, the place was packed. You feel at home here! We'd gladly return!

We had dinner at Schankwirtschaft Wohlfahrt Pfronten and had the best Allgäu cheese spaetzle and the most delicious roast pork ever, along with the delicious farm beer! To finish off, we had the unique, heavenly Kaiserschmarrn – a poem! Super friendly staff, to top it all off 👍🏼 An absolute 5* recommendation!

We arrived here spontaneously on a Tuesday after a day trip. We didn't have a reservation, but there was room for the two of us. Tuesdays are always knuckle of pork day. Unfortunately, you would have had to make a reservation for that, so I switched to venison goulash. It was delicious. My wife had something vegetarian and was also very satisfied. The waitress (Antonia) is the best choice for the job. Courteous, helpful, and just incredibly nice. We've rarely eaten so well and been served so well. Unfortunately, we can only give this place 5 stars. A 12 out of 10 would actually be appropriate. Best wishes from Schleswig-Holstein

What a lovely restaurant, we've visited twice and both times we were served by the lovely Antonia. She even remembered as soon as we entered that we came from the Netherlands and wanted the English menu. A must visit if you love beer and want to try a typical Bayern meal. The restaurant itself looks as if you've entered the hut from Snowwhite, absolutely stunning!

A rustic, traditional hut with ample seating. We sat in the "vaulted cellar" area (part of the restaurant), which is lovingly decorated. When the weather is nice, you can also sit outside. We arrived before the official kitchen opening time, but that wasn't a problem, and we were well looked after even before that. The ambiance and hospitality were very welcoming and welcoming. One of the best restaurants we've eaten at in Pfronten so far. There's even a lovingly decorated playroom for the children. The food arrived very quickly and was excellent. The prices are reasonable for today. Reservations should be made one or two days in advance, especially on weekends.

We went to the restaurant on August 20th, which we really enjoyed, and then reserved a table for August 22nd. We almost wanted to cancel because we weren't feeling well that day, but we decided to go anyway. When we asked the waiter if we could order smaller portions, the answer was not so friendly, but we could order them. The food wasn't really our cup of tea. What annoyed us most were the prices for the small portions. The dishes weren't much bigger than the children's portions. But they were much more expensive. If we'd known that earlier, we would have canceled. We could have ordered regular-sized ones instead of paying so much for two mini dishes. Best, M and B

My wife and I ate here last week – and it was truly fantastic! A wonderfully beautiful, typically Allgäu restaurant, rustic, lovingly furnished, and with an old tiled stove that adds a lot of charm. The staff was friendly, and the food (onion roast beef and Wiener schnitzel) was excellent – ​​we deserve high praise for that. Yesterday, we wanted to return with the whole family for a knuckle of pork dinner – and were bitterly disappointed. At 5:30 p.m., the restaurant was almost empty (only a few tables occupied, and plenty of space outside as well). Nevertheless, we were told that all seats were reserved for 7–8 p.m. We weren't offered a single table – not even until the time reservations start. Realistically, we would have been finished long before then. Unfortunately, this comes across as more than stubborn and completely unfriendly to customers. This is how you drive away regulars and miss an opportunity to gain satisfied customers. Conclusion: The food and ambiance are top-notch – but the inflexible and incomprehensible attitude towards reservations was a huge disappointment. What a pity, we were really looking forward to this evening.

We've been on holiday in Pfronten with friends for the second year now. We enjoyed the pub twice last year and three times this year. The owners are super friendly. Every guest request is accommodated whenever possible, and the quality of the food is commensurate with the price. We were able to try many dishes, and they were all delicious. We look forward to seeing you again.

We've been to the Wohlfahrt pub several times now, and we've never been disappointed. The food, the ambiance, and the staff—everything is just perfect. The Hofbier (farm beer) is absolutely delicious. The Wiener Schnitzel is the best schnitzel I've ever eaten. With the cranberries and potatoes on the side, it's a real treat. The apple strudel is truly delicious. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Every time we're on vacation in Pfronten, at least one visit to the Wohlfahrt is a must (although it usually doesn't stop at just one). Reservations are definitely recommended.

Once again, something I can only recommend. I'd be happy to come back.

I've been vacationing in Pfronten every year for many years – and a visit to the pub has always been a must for me. I'd even call myself a regular customer now. So far, my experiences there have been consistently positive – until my last visit, which unfortunately left a completely different impression. I enjoyed a cozy three-course evening with a friend. The food was, as always, excellent – there was nothing to complain about. What disappointed me, however, was the service that evening. I've been paying by card here for years, and this option has always been offered to me. However, on this evening, the card payment machine was broken – which can happen. What was annoying, however, was that we weren't informed of this until after we'd finished the entire meal, so we had no preparation. Since we didn't have any cash with us, my ID was confiscated (apparently, this didn't happen to other guests) and we were asked to walk approximately 50 minutes to the nearest bank. We did. Back at the bar, we discovered that other guests who also had to withdraw money were given a shot of schnapps or an ice cream "on the house" as compensation – but we weren't. That's a real shame, because I've always felt welcome and treated fairly here. This experience has unfortunately permanently damaged my trust in the pub business. With a heavy heart, I will therefore refrain from visiting in the future.

What a wonderful, rustic restaurant! Excellent food! We had noodle soup, tomato soup, cheese spaetzle, Wiener schnitzel, Maultaschen baked with mountain cheese, roast beef with onion and cheese spaetzle, and to finish, the superbly prepared Kaiserschmarrn with homemade apple sauce. And our waitress, Antonia, was amazing—a very friendly and funny, pretty woman who has her heart in the right place. But that shouldn't diminish the impression we get from the entire team—from the excellent chef, who excels at his craft, to the wait staff—a fantastic team that deserves nothing but praise. The service was incredibly friendly; you're greeted as if you've known each other forever. Simply fantastic. The food was superb 😋 the onion roast beef was a dream. The beer was truly delicious. Anyone who finds fault here has no idea what good food is. The price/performance ratio is also very reasonable. The ambiance is beautifully designed, both inside and in the beer garden. Even if you drop by spontaneously, they always try to find a solution to get a seat and make everyone happy, which they often succeed in doing. My recommendation: definitely stop by and enjoy. It was a truly lovely evening. Four of us were there, and all the dishes (Wiener Schnitzel, veal goulash, roast beef with onions, roast pork) were truly delicious. To top it all off, the Kaiserschmarren (sweet pancakes) was perfect. The service was unobtrusive and very friendly. The atmosphere is wonderful. If we're ever in Pfronten again, we'll definitely be back.

Absolutely perfect! Everything is just right here. The beer garden is beautifully situated facing the mountain and offers a fantastic view. The interior is cozy, and the service is super friendly and fast. The food is fantastic and served fresh. We enjoyed it so much that we came back twice during our vacation. The Kaiserschmarren is especially recommended – simply delicious. A definite recommendation for authentic Bavarian cuisine with a great atmosphere.
