I had reserved a table for one person. After being assigned a table, I sat for 25 minutes until the waiter came to my table. Several groups of guests who arrived later had already finished their meals, and I hadn't even had a chance to order a drink. It wasn't that busy; it felt like there were more waiters than customers in the restaurant at that time. Just before I was about to leave, the somewhat grumpy-looking waitress came over and I was able to place my order. After that, everything went very quickly: my drink arrived immediately, and the food didn't take long either. I had a mixed salad and the Allgäuer Tris, three kinds of dumplings. The food was very tasty, especially the final dessert, beer ramisu. I wouldn't go there alone again, though; only with someone.

The beer is always a delight. This time I tried the non-alcoholic beer – it's also available on tap and was the best non-alcoholic beer I've ever had. The food is plentiful and delicious – I recommend the Kasspatzn (cheese sparrows) with Weißlacker (white pudding).

We ate there several times during our last vacation because we really enjoyed it and the food was excellent! We went back again during the summer holidays, and everything was the same: the quality of the food was very good, the beer was very drinkable, and the value for money was good! Dogs are not a problem at all, and the kitchen is open late! We'll be back!

Great location, busy, fast service, but never had such a small roast beef and such a poor and small portion of cheese spaetzle, especially not for €29. A friendly review was met with a grin and "It's just the way it is."

Cheese spaetzle with salad and Bergler schnitzel...preceded by creamy cheese soup and beef soup with liver dumplings...all super delicious and almost unbeatable for the price. Leon, the waitress, was extremely polite and attentive...a thoroughly enjoyable dinner!

An excellent dinner after a day at the castles of Füssen and Schwangau. A beautiful place with a typical Bavarian atmosphere. The beer and food were all exceptional. I would have loved to have dinner like this every night on my Romantic Road tour.

A great brewery. Service, food, ambiance—everything's just right here. It's not a particularly "family-friendly" atmosphere, of course; it's too big for that. But it's well organized, and the food is really good. The brewery is always a must on our Allgäu excursions.

We went to eat in the beer garden this late afternoon with three adults and two children. The food was truly delicious, but unfortunately, we wouldn't recommend the inn. The reason: Our older son is quite picky about food. We politely asked if he could eat a roll he'd brought back from our trip as an exception. However, the waitress rather rudely declined, pointing out that such requests weren't welcome. Of course, we had ordered food and drinks for everyone else. As an alternative, we ordered a dumpling for him, which, as expected, he didn't eat – so he stuck with us. It's a shame they don't want to make a small exception for children. For us, this was our first and, unfortunately, our last visit to this inn.

This used to be a nice place to stop. Today we were bitterly disappointed 😞 My venison roast was terribly dry, the red cabbage mushy. The knuckle of pork was a disgrace, with tasteless sauerkraut. We won't be going there again.

I'm giving one star for the good beer. The pork knuckle was inedible. Completely dried out, so the waitress replaced it. The second knuckle was also absolutely terrible. And the sauerkraut was completely soggy.

I've eaten at this inn several times. The food is of very good quality. The service is friendly and prompt. You should definitely try the beer – there are light, dark, and yeast beers.

It's been a long time since we've had something so delicious: a Kaiserschmarrn that melts in your mouth. Fried chicken with pumpkin breading and salad, just wow. Five of us ate and drank €105. Excellent value for money. The waitress was incredibly friendly and a real knack for children. Thank you. I would definitely recommend it.

We ate there twice during our vacation and were very satisfied on both visits. Even on Sunday, despite being fully booked, the service was very fast. Big praise also to Dani, who stayed cool despite the technical issues. (Greetings from table 13 at 7 p.m.) We'd love to come back next year.

I would have liked to give a review of the service and food. Unfortunately, I can't, as no one came to serve me. And the restaurant was only about one-third full. I sat for about 20 minutes in a really nice beer garden. The tables were beautifully decorated, the benches were padded. The waitress walked past me a few times but didn't notice me. Other guests arrived after me and were served promptly. Too bad. Eventually, I left. My presence was not noticed.

The prices for the food are simply unbeatable. Therefore, the Braugasthof Falkenstein gets a clear recommendation from me.

Spectacular place. It's a brewery that makes beer and the food is fantastic. The pork knuckle with sauerkraut is delicious, the best I've ever had. And also the spakkel with cheese, which is like pasta with cheese and crispy onions. If you're passing through the area, don't miss it; it's also quite cheap compared to German prices. It's open all day, so Spaniards can go during our normal lunch hours.

We visited the restaurant and were initially very impressed by the ambiance – the decor is stylish, the place looks clean and well-maintained. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the exterior appearance. The salad was practically drowned in dressing and lacked a balanced flavor – far too sweet. The meat was rather small for the price and wasn't prepared as I had ordered. Overall, the food was okay, but by no means up to the mark. The service also left a lot to be desired. The waitresses seemed unengaged and uninterested in actively engaging with us or making recommendations. For the prices quoted, I would have expected significantly more – both in terms of food and service. It's a shame, because the ambiance definitely had the potential for a more premium overall experience.

The service was very friendly. The food was excellent and plentiful. The absolute highlight was the food served in the barrel. We felt really comfortable and had a fantastic evening with the family. The children were able to run around freely, and the adults enjoyed a lovely atmosphere and a warm seat with delicious food and a huge dessert platter. We had OUR MENU. The prices are reasonable. A wonderful atmosphere – very friendly service – the young lady absolutely won us over from the moment we welcomed her to the moment we left. Many other restaurants could learn a great deal from that! A fantastic brewery beer – we enjoyed every sip. Especially the dark beer! And the regional Bavarian cuisine leaves nothing to be desired! We drove here especially from Tannheim, Austria, and will of course plan to visit again on our next vacation!

A very nice and cozy restaurant! But unfortunately, the steak wasn't medium rare, but thoroughly cooked, or rather, boiled! And the beans were very raw, so they were absolutely inedible! Very disappointing!

I was there for the first time today. The service was very friendly. My Wiener Schnitzel was abysmal. The breading was indefinable and pale. It looked like it had been fried in clarified butter or oil, but it had been steamed in water. I've never had anything like it served anywhere else. I always thought you couldn't go wrong with a schnitzel, but today I was proven wrong.

Beautiful brewery with delicious home-brewed beer and a great atmosphere, especially in the beer garden. A friend and I both ordered the lager and the onion roast beef. We enjoyed the beer, but the roast was very basic. The meat was small, the sauce very thin, and the onions floury. The spaetzle, however, are homemade and delicious. Perhaps we simply ordered the wrong thing; the restaurant was busy, so it has its justification.

Unfortunately, no service. A spontaneous stop on a Sunday at 5:30 p.m. The beer garden was about 50% full, and the waiters had time for a relaxed chat. Invisible at 190 cm and 120 kg, we left. We wanted to have a leisurely dinner and enjoy the house brew, but it wasn't meant to be. Luckily, there are several restaurants on the street that have a better understanding of service.

We were in Pfronten over the Corpus Christi long weekend and came here spontaneously without a reservation. We received a very warm and friendly welcome, despite the restaurant being quite busy. The kids were given something to paint right away, and in addition to the truly delicious, rustic, typical food, we felt like we weren't just being served, but were truly appreciated as guests.
