I always enjoy coming here, the food and especially the house beer have always been excellent and the atmosphere is nice, prices are also reasonable.

Perfect all around! Our vacation didn't have enough days to try out all the delicacies, but what we tried was just perfect. The staff is attentive and more than friendly, the drinks are on the table after a few minutes and are usually replaced within a few minutes if necessary as soon as they are empty. The food didn't take long to arrive either and no matter what we ordered, it was simply delicious and perfectly prepared. The steak melted in the mouth, the schnitzel was really Viennese style except for the difference in the meat (thinly pounded, lightly breaded and briefly fried so that the meat didn't stick to the meat), the crème brulee with mango sorbet was also amazing, great delicious sorbet, crunchy caramelized sugar top and fantastic cream and I don't even have to start with the Kaiserschmarn! By far the best in the area, the combination of almond slivers with sweet powdered sugar and slightly salty Kaiserschmarn is simply perfect! We would definitely like to vacation here again because of this restaurant, among other things!

very cool location, very, very tasty beers and a hearty meal that leaves nothing to be desired. We spent a very nice evening here and can recommend the Braugasthof unconditionally. I was also very pleased with the merchandise, so you could take a nice piece of vacation home with you.

Great inn with very tasty food. Great Bavarian dishes and good beer. We were there for the third time now and will definitely come back. The service is attentive and quick. (Yesterday the gentleman was a bit grumpy 😂) And what's especially great as a family with two children. Children up to 6 years get spaetzle with sauce for free. And the children always get their meals quickly and first. Keep it up.

We spent an absolutely perfect evening at the Braugasthof Falkenstein, which fully deserves its 5 stars! As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a caring and professional team. The ambiance of the restaurant is typically Bavarian, with its rustic charm, authentic decoration and a friendly atmosphere that immediately transports you to the region. The beers brewed on site are simply excellent and perfectly reflect local know-how. To start our meal, we shared an Allgäuer Festtagssuppe, tasty and comforting, ideal to whet the appetite. Next, we opted for Allgäuer Kässpätzle, without a doubt the best we have ever tasted! The richness of the flavors, the perfect texture of the pasta, and that melting cheese… it was a real delight. Every bite was pure pleasure. To top it off, we ended on a sweet note by sharing a Kaiserschmarrn, a traditional Bavarian dessert which concluded our meal exquisitely. The authentic taste and the generosity of the portions totally won us over. In summary, the Braugasthof Falkenstein is a must-visit address for anyone wanting a true Bavarian gastronomic experience. Between the impeccable welcome, the warm atmosphere and the impeccable quality of the dishes, this restaurant is a gem that we recommend with our eyes closed. We will definitely come back (and our little dog received a great welcome too).

Nice restaurant with a beer garden. Dishes are delicious and the portions are really generous. The waitresses are very attentive and super nice. Parking spaces are directly at the house. We definitely weren't there for the last time.

Rustic and very tasty, both the food (we had onion roast, knuckle and three kinds of dumplings) as well as the home-brewed beers. And the service left nothing to be desired, friendly, competent, fast.

We have been to the Falkenstein brewery a few times now. We have never been disappointed so far. The selection of dishes is diverse, so everyone should be able to find something to suit their taste. All dishes so far have been super delicious and tasty 😋 The atmosphere is inviting and cozy, you can sit here after your meal and enjoy one or two delicious beers 🍻... The service is friendly and courteous, the orders are always delivered promptly at the table. The whole thing combined with fair prices, what more could you want 🙌🏻

Pork knuckles, onion roast and Kaiserschmarrn were world class. That's exactly what we were looking for on our vacation. Of course, the beer should not be missing and is also highly recommended. Everything is reasonable in terms of price, the staff are friendly and helpful, so full marks.

Unfortunately, service was completely shaky... yes, it was busy... and everyone was still friendly, but if you go out to eat you wouldn't want to have to wait an hour. The beer garden doesn't deserve the name... not really idyllic next to a Rossmann and a lot of traffic. The schnitzels were delicious. The Kässpätzle were too dry and too big... I can't say exactly but I assume they were bought... just like the larger part of the fried onions. The drinks all had too little carbonation.

We go to the Braugasthof Falkenstein at least once every year on vacation. The service staff are always very courteous and the food is very, very tasty. Children up to 6 even get a portion of spaetzle with sauce or dumplings with sauce for free. High chairs are available and children's menus are to be painted.

Brilliant Bavarian food, world-class beer and great service. Indoors in the hardy winter it might be better to install folding windows or something similar, as it gets quite hot and stuffy with many visitors. Beautiful outside. Toilets clean and fun. Very great shop.

Very nicely furnished, rustic inn. It's nice to sit outside in the beer garden. Everything inside is made of wood and you sit between the brewing kettles. The own beer is very good. Interesting taste. The food was also very good. Although we prefer the classic schnitzel, the Braumeister breading was also interesting. Food for children up to 6 years old is even included. (dumpling with sauce) Service was very nice. There are enough parking spaces right next to it.

We followed the good recommendations and were not disappointed. We had the Braumeister Schnitzel and Käsespätzle. Both were very tasty, and special requests (additional vegetables) were also met very well. You definitely have to reserve in advance, otherwise you may not be able to get a table spontaneously.

We were lucky to get a free spot without a reservation. Tuesday, half past five, and it was getting crowded. But the food was also very tasty and so was the house beer. The service was extremely friendly and attentive and we didn't have to wait long for our food. Excellent!

Very tasty food. The guest room is quite large. Therefore a bit too loud. The service is good and quite quick. Ideal for eating something hearty but perhaps not necessarily for spending a cozy evening for two.

Very good food and service super friendly

We ate here today for the first time, and I have to say unfortunately for the last time. The atmosphere is quite nice. The waiter who served us was very friendly and attentive, five stars for that. We once ordered the Jägerschnitzel, the taste of which was very reminiscent of packet sauce. Portion large enough. The Brauerschnitzel, however, was a disaster. The breading was reminiscent of whole grain bread that had been dried for days, but without any taste; the sauce was completely watery and almost tasteless. In addition, the fries were drowned in it and were therefore mostly soggy. Luckily there was enough ketchup and mayonnaise with the fries. Unfortunately, we cannot understand the great reviews here and will not come here again.

Super rustic restaurant with great dishes

Unfortunately I can't agree with other reviewers at all. Just had dinner at this establishment. Lukewarm beer and cold food; enjoyment and Allgäu tradition should look different. Once and never again.
