I've been to this great inn several times and I'm always surprised that the quality of the food is always top. Church consecration food, typically Franconian, was excellent. Service friendly and accommodating. A relaxed boss who also serves and is very present. The new motto Lies 2.0 in memory of his grandmother makes him even more likeable.

According to the internet, they have the best Schäufele in Franconia. I tested that and I have to say... I've never had such a consistently good crust on a Schäufele as here. Crispy and fluffy, well seasoned. The meat with good taste fell off the bone well, as it should. The sauce was unusually light beige and glassy, ​​but with a good taste that went very well with the meat and the dumplings. The sauerkraut is very sweet but also tasty. Result: This restaurant actually has the best Schäufele in Franconia! Bravo! The landlord is very nice, as are the waitresses. Locally very nicely decorated, high-quality modern furniture. Clean toilets round off the positive overall picture. The menu offers a wide range of dishes, including teriaki crispy duck. Prices are completely okay. Clear recommendation to go.

Service was good, food used to be better. I ate a schnitzel, it was very mildly seasoned and the meat really tasted like pork. Was a bit disappointed. But maybe they were just having a bad day.

We stayed there overnight, the room was very nice and clean, but extremely loud, we hardly slept despite the windows being closed. Dinner was okay, breakfast was disappointing, we were probably the last guests for breakfast, there was no refill (sausage was gone), on the contrary, We were still sitting at breakfast (the time wasn't up yet) when we were asked if we wanted to eat anything else, otherwise the service staff would clear the buffet. This has never happened to us anywhere! We won't be going there again, there's also a great inn opposite.

A very rustic yet modern and friendly inn. The service is very friendly, competent and helpful. I've never eaten anywhere where I was served food before drinks! However, this is not something that has been warmed up, but rather well prepared and fried, seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Schäuferla truly deserves first place. Exactly as it should be, meat tender, the crust crispy, with delicious dumplings and sauerkraut served appropriately on a shovel-shaped plate. A poem. The gypsy schnitzel was tender and delicious, not a single flax or tendon to be found. Plus fries that didn't need any additional salt. The sauce is really tasty with peppers and onions, just like you would expect from the gypsy schnitzel. We'll be back. Price/performance absolutely justified

We were here for the first time and absolutely loved it. My husband had a delicious crusty roast and I had a very good cordon bleu with fries and a salad bowl. The staff is very friendly and the furnishings are modern and comfortable. We would love to come back 😍👍😋

I can recommend the Juraschenke with a clear conscience. I can only recommend making a reservation here, otherwise it will look bad with a place. The staff is super friendly and super fast, despite the stress they have. Most respect. Honest. You can't get enough of the delicious food. It's always a shame when you're full. The homemade cakes are a dream. I will definitely come back even if I am 150 km away.

We went to the Juraschenke for a short vacation. As always, we felt very comfortable. In the last few months, the guest rooms have been lovingly renovated and a new, beautiful breakfast room has been set up. The food was, as always, very tasty. The best Schäufele is eaten at Jochen's!!!! - Very good value for money. - All rooms very clean. We say THANK YOU to Jochen and his team for the wonderful days and look forward to the next vacation with you.

Good cuisine, good service, wonderful!

We had reserved for lunch but were not allowed in with a dog. We then went to dinner opposite. Went there in the afternoon (dog in the car) to drink coffee. Service not very friendly. A tap water for drinking coffee €1.20. I won't be going there again.

We can highly recommend the restaurant and the guesthouse. The problem, like everywhere else in the catering industry, is that there is a lack of staff and therefore it cannot always be open. A real shame for the friendly family business.

Unfortunately I can't praise the kitchen. Based on a recommendation, I ordered the “Ochsenbatzen” for €26.80. The meat was okay, the sauce was a mess. So we will continue to prefer to stop opposite. On the other hand, my husband's pork knuckle for just under €10 was good!

Staff could be a bit friendlier, so a point is deducted from the service... I can't say anything about the rooms, I didn't spend the night there. There is enough parking space and free of charge.

Heute wieder ein absoluter Hammer - Rehschäufala da schnallst der Gaumen - ein Hochgenuss 👍👍 Bärlauchsuppe sehr schmackhaft - lecker, Barramundifilet sehr lecker die dazu präsentierten Beilagen auch vom Feinsten die Tomatenmarmelade ganz große Klasse die Kartoffeldipper (Chips) genial = 5 Sterne Lammrücken hat leider den Garpunkt (Medium) verfehlt = 3 Sterne mediterranes Pfannengemüse und Gnocci mit Jus top Alles in allem 4 Sterne 20.10.23 Bauernkotelett sehr lecker und schön angerichtet - Pfefferkarpfen ein Gedicht das Beste was ich je gegessen habe

Schöner Gasthof. Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig. Der Service ist gut und man sollte am Abend lieber einen Tisch reservieren. Der Koch versteht sein Handwerk. Preis Leistung ist super. Jederzeit gern wieder.
